Mobile learning is experiencing a drastic change. Whereas the initial period of mobile learning tend to propose carefully skilled activities by teachers and technology, students are gradually motivated by their personal learning needs, including those that arise from greater mobility and traveling activities. Through the process, the mobile learning use, particularly the Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL), have become essential tools in the teaching and learning process. This research investigates the use of Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) in teaching pronunciation at a secondary school. Using experimental study, the research aims to know the effectiveness of MALL in teaching pronunciation in experimental group, compared to another group with non-MALL. Result shows that students in experimental group performed better in pronunciation skill compared to their peers. Thus the use of MALL in teaching pronunciation was also effective in improving students’ pronunciation skill with the t-count (5.97) which is higher than the t-table (2.00 and 2.67).  Keywords: Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL), Pronunciation, Secondary school, Experimental study, Metho

Abstract   Android application-based learning media is an effective way, because the students motivation have increased in learning and practicing learning activities. Learning media which utilizes Android which emphasizes on several applications that are easily owned by all students and instructors, so that they are easy and affordable. Gagne and Briggs in the Book (Azhar, 2002) provide a limitation on the scope of the media including physical devices with the aim of conveying subject matter such as books, tape recorders, video recorders, films, slides (picture frames), photos, graphics, television and computer. Nemo is an android application that is designed as a medium of learning and language learning by mastering a number of useful words. In the android application, Nemo is like a simple pocket dictionary so that it helps in improving the language level through various learning materials. This study examines the effectiveness of the use of Android-based Arabic Nemo teaching materials for students at Al- Khalifah Islamic boarding school Cibubur. Beginner level students at Al- Khalifah Islamic boarding school Cibubur in learning Arabic. Many relevant studies prove that the teaching and learning activities using android made learning outcomes better than teaching and learning activities without using it. This study aims to test the effectiveness of instructional media on learning outcomes and whether it is more effective than teaching and learning activities that do not use instructional media in Arabic learning, the average value obtained indicates the benefits and effectiveness of using NEMO media on success in teaching and learning activities

Learning using Blendedlearning with the Flippedclassroom model. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Blendedlearning with the Flippedclassroom model in Shochuukyuubunpou courses in the second semester students of Japanese Language Education, Muhammadiyah University, Prof Dr Hamka2019-2020.The model used in research this is a quasi experiment with a pretest posttest one group design. The sample consisted of 20 respondents in class 2. The test result between the lecture modeland the Flipp The Teacher model sig (2 tailed)that is 0.000smaller than the 0.05 significance level. Then it can be concluded that the are significant differences between students learning outcomes using the lecture model and The Flip The Teacher model. From the Normalized Gain test result, the Normalized Gain score for the Flip The Teacher model is  0.369 so that this model has moderate effectiveness. It can be concluded that the percentage effectiveness of the lecture model is smaller than the Flip the Teacher in Shochuukyuubunpou courses in the second semester of UHAMKA Japanese Language  Education in 2019-2020 Keyword : Shochuukyuubunpou,Bended Learning, Flip the Teache

The purpose of this study is to create a lesson plan as a supplement for Réception Orale I course that is integrated with 21st century skills and based on Youtube Channel. This design is created as an effort to employ the information technology in the course, which by far is deemed to be unable to merge the blended learning on its maximum effort. The importance of this Blended Learning-based research is conducted to improve students' listening skills in French Language Study Program (FLSP) through audio-visual learning media that is in line with technological developments, namely the Youtube Channel. Youtube Channel which will be used as a learning medium in listening comprehension course in FLSP is a special channel that is identified based on the suitability of the material in the Course Design (RPS) of the listening comprehension. The design of the Youtube Channel will set off by uploading videos that are relevant to the learning needs of listening skills so that learning objectives can be achieved. The result of this study is the supplement design for French listening comprehension course which is based on Youtube Channel. The finding of this paper may shed the light in paving our way to prepare ourselves to face Industrial Revolution 4.0, which characteristics among others is the use of information technology in the learning process

The purpose of this study is to improve reading skills in the cognitive aspects of Arabic. This study was conducted classroom action research with reciprocal method in reading learning. There are four steps in reciprocal method, including: 1) Predicting, 2) Clarifying, 3) Questioning, 4) Summarizing. The process of collecting data were observations, questionnairs, field notes and tests. To determine the level of reliability of the test, the reliability test was performed using the Kuder Richardson formula (KR-20). After the validation and reliability tests were carried out, it was stated that the test instruments were very reliable and valid. Qualitative data is validated through data triangulation which includes four ways namely; credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability.  As a result, students' reading skills in cognitive aspects experienced a significant increase. The average value in the  pre-cycle is 55.27 then in the first cycle the average reading skill score rises to 86.02. The average value increases again in the second cycle, which is 91.16. This proves that the right method in learning to read can help students improve reading skills, one of which is cognitive ability. Although the reciprocal method has been considered an old learning method in the MHI Islamic boarding school his method is a new learning method, so it can inspire language teaching methods in other traditional schools

Abstract The digital or virtual atmosphere in the education field today begins to spread which includes in the area of language learning. In line with that one, a research design is proposed in a similar context that is Digital Ethnography (DE). The research aims are to reveal and explore the detail of DE and how it is implemented in research. The method used in this study is qualitative, and the data is collected from 10 articles from reputable journals that discuss DE. The collected data were categorized based on the year, title, author, purpose, method result and discussion, and conclusion, afterward they were analyzed and presented descriptively. The findings of this study showed that DE can be applied in various topic particularly in language learning research. The implication of this study DE can be as one of the options as the research design related to language learning in a digital or virtual context. &nbsp
