    Satire in Pandji Pragiwaksono's Pragiwaksono Solo Comedy

    This study aims to describe the satire on “Pragiwaksono” stand-up comedy by Pandji Pragiwaksono. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques, namely describing the satire on “Pragiwaksono” stand-up comedy by Pandji Pragiwaksono. The results of the research can be seen that there are 431 data of satirical purposes which are divided into 93 data of correcting purposes (21,57%), 46 data of triggering anger purposes (10,67%), 109 data of quipping purposes (25,30%), 104 data of criticizing purposes (24,13%), and 79 data of pursuing something, person, institution, or event purposes (18,33%). There area 346 data of satirical type which are divided into 152 data of direct satire type (43,93%), 41 data of parody type (11,86%), 27 data of irony type (7,81%), 103 data of sarcasm type (29,76%), and 23 data of exaggeration type (6,64%). There are 149 data forms of satire which are divided into 144 data of satirical clauses/sentenes (96,64%) and 5 data of satirical words/phrases (3,36%)

    Quizwhizzer as A Innovative Evaluation Learning Media Bahasa Indonesia

    This article discusses digital learning media in the form of game quizzes, namely Quizwhizzer as an innovative Indonesian language learning evaluation media. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection uses a questionnaire technique with closed and open questions using Google Form media. The subjects of this research were 37 students of class XI IPA 1 MAN 1 Tangerang. Explanatory text material was used in the questions that researchers created on QuizWhizzer. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that 36 students (97.3%) stated that answering Indonesian language questions was more interesting using Quizwhizzer than using sheets of paper. Furthermore, as many as 37 students (100%) stated that Quizwhizzer was an innovative and fun medium. Furthermore, as many as 33 students (89.2%) stated that Quizwhizzer could make it easier for students to understand Indonesian language material. Furthermore, as many as 34 students (91.9%) stated that Quizwhizzer was able to increase students' interest in learning Indonesian language material. Furthermore, as many as 36 students (97.3%) answered that Quizwhizzer was easy to use. Furthermore, as many as 35 students (94.6%) stated that the Quizwhizzer learning media was not boring. Furthermore, as many as 35 students (94.6%) stated that the Quizwhizzer learning media was not difficult. Finally, 31 students answered that their impression after using QuizWhizzer was that it was exciting, fun and happy. So it can be concluded that the digital interactive game media, namely Quizwhizzer, is an innovative evaluation media and attracts students' attention

    Violation of the Maxim of Politeness in the Novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye

    Indonesian society is known as a society that has a friendly attitude and a strong culture of politeness. However, in practice in everyday life, quite a few speakers violate language politeness maxims. Violations of language politeness maxims can also be found in the novel. In this era, quite a few people choose novels as a means of entertainment, especially for generation Z. It is very worrying if violations of language politeness maxims become acceptable and become a language reference for today's generation. The aim of this research is to describe forms of violation of language politeness maxims in novels “Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar” by tere Liye. The method used is a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques use listening and note-taking techniques. The research results showed that there were 78 utterances that contained violations of the politeness maxims of Leech's theory as follows: 28% violation of the tact maxim; 12% the generosity maxim; 32% violation of the praise maxim; 13% violation of the modesty maxim; 14% violation of agreement maxim, and 1% violation of the sympathy maxim. The implication of this research is that the characters' speech can serve as an illustration for readers regarding violations of language politeness maxims in accordance with Leech's theory

    Women are one of the literary objects that are always interesting to discuss. In this modern era, many women in real life experience oppression from men, so women are seen as weak by men because their lives depend on men. The focus of this research is violence against women in the household (domestic violence). Against this background, this study aims, namely (1) forms of physical violence against women; (2) forms of emotional violence against women; (3) the impact of physical violence and emotional violence on women. Method used in this study is the theory of feminism with qualitative descriptive research methods. The results of this study indicate that there are 6 analytical data on physical violence against women in Ika Natassa's novel Heartbreak Motel, 9 analytical data on emotional violence against women in Ika Natassa's novel Heartbreak Motel, and 13 analytical data on the impact of physical violence and emotional violence on women. in the novel Heartbreak Motel by Ika Natassa

    Metaphors in the Collection of Amygdala Song Lyrics: A Semantic Study

    The use of metaphorical figures of speech in a song is an expression of the songwriter's emotions towards something that touches his heart and experiences it in the reality of life. The purpose of this research is to find out the types of metaphors used in the lyrics of the songs Kukira Kau Rumah, Tuhan Sebut Sia–Sia, and Balada Puan. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with note-taking techniques. Data sourced from a collection of Amidala song lyrics. The results of the study show that in the three lyrics of the song Amygdala, there are source domains, target domains, types of metaphors, and the meanings of metaphorical expressions. The types of metaphors found are abstracting metaphors and the most commonly found metaphor is the word house

    Analysis of Descriptive Text Writing Skill Characteristics Based on Performance-Based Assessment for Junior High School Level

    This research aims to develop a performance-based assessment model for descriptive text writing skills at the junior high school level. The success of the learning process for descriptive text writing skills in junior high school can be seen in the learning outcomes achieved by students. These learning outcomes are obtained through assessments conducted by teachers at school. However, in reality, teachers face difficulties in developing assessment tools for descriptive text writing skills. These difficulties are addressed by developing a performance-based assessment model for descriptive text writing skills. The research method used in developing the ADDIE model for skills assessment is Research and Development. The ADDIE model consists of five steps: (1) analysis; (2) design for performance-based descriptive text writing; (3) development; (4) implementation; and (5) evaluation. The results of this research include the characteristics of the assessment model for Indonesian language learning at the junior high school level

    Analysis of Lexical Aspects of Four Song Lyrics in "Selamat Ulang Tahun" Album by Nadin Amizah

    This study aims to determine the lexical aspects contained in the four song lyrics in the album "Selamat Ulang Tahun" by Nadin Amizah. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data sources for this research are four song lyrics in the album "Selamat Ulang Tahun" by Nadin Amizah which consists of the songs “Beranjak Dewasa”, “Sorak Sorai”, “Bertaut”, and “Taruh”. The data in this study are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences from four song lyrics from the album "Selamat Ulang Tahun" by Nadin Amizah. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Analysis Interactive model which divides its analysis activities into four parts, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or data verification. From the results of this study it was found that there are several lexical aspects in the four song lyrics in the album "Selamat Ulang Tahun" by Nadin Amizah namely repetition, synonymy, antonym, collocation, and hyponymy

    Analysis of Pancasila Learner Profile Values in Indonesian Language Learning Book Texts

    This research aims to analyze the value content of the Pancasila student profile in the Indonesian language textbook for the Merdeka curriculum for class X, Puskurbuk Kemendikbudristek edition. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis. The research results, researchers found that the values ​​of the Pancasila student profile are found in introductory texts in books such as: 1) faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble morals, 2) critical thinking, 3) global diversity, 4) creativity , 5) mutual cooperation, and 6) independence. The value of each of these things is explained in various texts, including saga texts, anecdote texts, biographical texts and poetry texts. Learning activities carried out in the Merdeka Curriculum Indonesian Language Textbook for class X students will help students understand these values ​​and apply them in everyday life. This study provides a detailed and complete explanation of the contents of the profile of students' Pancasila values ​​in the texts contained in the book, so that it will help students improve their understanding and application of these values

    Application of the Graphic Organizer Method in Improving Students' Reading Comprehension of Narrative Text

    This research addresses the issue of students struggling with reading and comprehending narrative texts. Its objective is to enhance the reading comprehension of 5th-grade elementary school students by employing the graphic organizer method. This method emphasizes the creation of concept maps or charts to aid in understanding the narrative texts. The research follows a classroom action research approach, consisting of two cycles with one meeting each. Each cycle involves lesson planning, implementation, and assessment using teaching modules. The findings reveal that in the first cycle, out of 20 students evaluated, 10 achieved scores above the passing grade, while 10 scored below it. Consequently, a second cycle of learning was conducted. In the second cycle, out of 28 students, 23 obtained scores above the passing grade, with 5 scoring below it. Thus, 82% of the students attained scores above the passing grade. These results highlight the effectiveness of the graphic organizer method in improving the reading comprehension of narrative texts among 5th-grade elementary school students
