パワーエレクトロニクス技術は，半導体スイッチを用いた電力変換回路を用いて電気の
波形や周波数を利用形態に適した形に変換する技術である。冷蔵庫やエアコン，テレビな
どの家電製品，電気自動車 (EV)や新幹線，電車などの交通機関，工作機械などの産業機器，
周波数変換所や新エネルギー発電などの電源部門まで，電気を用いているところにはほぼ
パワーエレクトロニクス技術が用いられている。パワーエレクトロニクス技術の発展は，
パワー半導体スイッチ（デバイス）の進歩とともに進んできた。  
近年では，GaN や SiC などの次世代半導体の登場により，高周波化の動きは加速してき
ている。高周波に変換された電力を系統に連系する際に，高周波から系統周波数の低周波
に変換する交流 -交流コンバータが必要となる。このコンバータとして整流器での整流後平
滑し，そのあとインバータにより系統に連系するシステムが考えられる。このシステムで
は，変換器が 2 つ必要となるため効率が低下する問題がある。このため高周波リンクを有
する系統連系用コンバータのトランス 2 次側コンバータの効率が重要となる。高周波での
スイッチングを行うと一般にはスイッチング損失が増加する。このため，コンバータの高
周波化による高性能化と高効率化を両立することは非常に難しい。  
その他，高周波での非接触電力伝送技術の進展により，非接触給電により送電された高
周波の電力を低周波に変換するコンバータが必要であり，このコンバータの効率が電力伝
送システム全体の効率に影響を大きく与える。  
本研究では，非接触電力伝送システムの受電側変換器のような高周波交流を入力とする
高周波単相 -低周波三相マトリックスコンバータの高性能化を目的としている。具体的に，
高性能化とは低損失化の検討および波形改善法についての検討を行っている。  
高周波単相 -低周波三相マトリックスコンバータにおいて，出力電圧周波数に対して入力
電圧周波数が十分大きいことに着目して，入力電圧の半周期を制御の最小単位として扱い，
三相を一括して制御できる空間ベクトルに基づくパルス密度変調を提案した。この制御方
式により，高い分解能を維持しながらゼロ電圧スイッチングが実現でき，従来方式よりも
入力電圧周波数の高い領域において，より低ひずみ率と高効率を実現できることを理論と
実験により明らかにしている。  
まず，インダイレクト形高周波単相 -低周波三相マトリックスコンバータのインバータ部
の高効率化を目指して，デルタ -シグマ変調を用いたパルス密度変調(PDM)制御を適用して
いる。PDM 制御によりインバータのスイッチング損失低減が可能となる。しかし，出力
波形には出力電圧指令値の極性と異なる極性の電圧パルスと波形の一定電圧へのクランプ
現象が発生し，損失が増加する一因となる。これは各相を独立に変調し，他の相の位相と
関係なくパルスを出力してしまうために発生している。そこで，さらなる出力波形の改善
手法として空間ベクトル変調 (SVM)を基にした PDM 信号生成法を提案している。三相を
一括に制御できる SVM を基にスイッチングパターンを生成することにより，出力電流と
電圧の位相を最小にすることができ，出力波形にクランプ現象をなくすことができる。そ

こで，インダイレクト形高周波単相 -低周波三相マトリックスコンバータにおいて，デルタ
-シグマ変調を用いた制御方式と提案する SVM を基にした制御方式を比較検討し，提案法
の有用性を示す。  
次に，インダイレクト形回路はモータなどの低力率の負荷では直流リンク部の電流の逆
流により出力電圧にクランプ現象が発生し，波形が大きくひずむ問題について検討してい
る。ダイレクト形高周波単相 -低周波三相マトリックスコンバータでは低力率負荷でも電流
の電源側への回生動作が可能なためクランプ現象が生じない。そこでダイレクト形高周波
単相 -低周波三相マトリックスコンバータへの PDM 制御の適用について検討を行った。こ
こでは，制御法として，インダイレクト形回路の実験で提案した空間ベクトル変調を基に
した PDM 制御をダイレクト形高周波単相 -低周波三相マトリックスコンバータに適用し，
その基本動作を確認している。  
最後に，インダイレクト形回路の実験で提案した SVM を基にした PDM 制御において
キャリア周波数が高いときや変調率が低いときに，発生する量子化誤差による出力波形ひ
ずみの改善法の検討を行った。改善法として SVM とデルタ-シグマ変調をベースとして量
子化の際に誤差が最小となる出力ベクトルを選択する制御法を提案し，ダイレクト形高周
波単相-低周波三相マトリックスコンバータにおいて，SVM を基にした制御方式と SVM と
デルタ-シグマ変調を組み合わせた方式を，試作機を用いた実験により比較検討し，提案方
式の有用性を示している。

Interruption and Information Management for Computer-Mediated Communication 
（コンピュータを利用したコミュニケーションのための割り込みと情報の管理）  
 
The ubiquitous adoption of Instant Messenger (IM) in workplaces for work-related activities 
brings unintended and unavoidable interruptions which are a prominently occurring phenomenon 
in Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC). It drives users’ attention away from their regular 
work. The objective of this study is to manage interruptions while using IM.  
 
This study first proposes an idea of Self-Initiated Intermission to manage interrupting events such 
as upcoming notifications or chat messages with minimal negative impact. Taking an intentional 
break from an ongoing task is Self-Initiated Intermission. The impact of interruption is compared 
at three different conditions: at Self-Intermission (SI), at Application Switching (AS) and Regular 
Interval (RI). The comparative study shows that interruption or any other notification presented at 
the time of self-intermission is relatively less interruptive than other available alternatives. 
 
Message delivery made only during intermission causes issue where both important and trivial 
messages are queued until the Self-Initiated Intermission happens. To solve this problem, this 
study further presents an approach for managing interruption and information for chat application 
conforming to the idea of interrupting users at the most appropriate time. This idea is 
implemented through the creation of a new Interruption-Information Management (IIM) chat 
framework. The IIM framework defers messages to deliver them at one of the four predefined 
message delivery conditions depending on the message priority, namely: Immediate (Imm) 
delivery, AS, RI and SI. The message priorities are assigned based on sender’s contextual and 
behavioural information, whereas, the message delivery conditions are decided considering both 
the sender and the receiver’s appropriate situations.  
 
The prominent part of this research is that IIM framework uses embedded agents to work on 
behalves of the sender and the receiver to cooperate with each other for least interruptive message 
delivery. Both the sender agent and the receiver agent work together to deliver messages during 
the receiver’s most favourable times exhibiting a cooperative behaviour. The agents intercept all 
incoming chat messages and deliver at a receiver’s favourable time based on their evaluated 
priorities. All the remaining undelivered messages are re-evaluated and re-prioritized according to 
both sender’s and receiver’s latest situations. The receiver contributes in managing interruption 
whereas the sender assists to manage information, together forming an interruption-information 
management mechanism to decide the least interruptible time for message delivery. The finding of

this research suggests that the proposed framework minimizes interruption frequency and task 
fragments which lead to the overall productivity. 
 
The IIM chat presented in this study enhances the productivity of the knowledge workers in 
organisations and is empirically proven to be better than the conventional chat. IIM chat is highly 
recommended to facilitate controlled message delivery with acceptable deferral based on urgency, 
i.e., delaying less urgent messages and minimizing interruptions. In addition, this study also 
discusses the details of how the chat application is considered in the organisations and how much 
impact it is creating in daily performance. Further, it elaborates on the importance of enhancing 
the current chat application and the necessity of considering both interruption and information 
management to make IM helpful for the knowledge workers. 
 
This study is a new approach in the area of interruption management which not only considers 
interruption management but also manages information based on users’ behaviour and 
preferences.

本論文は Study on ultrasound stimulated release of medicine from biomass polymer hydrogels (バイオマスポリ
マーハイドロゲルからの超音波刺激薬剤放出に関する研究)と題し、全４章で構成される。第 1章「General 
introduction」では、薬剤を含有した高分子担体から薬剤放出技術について解説し、特に光や pH 等の外
部刺激で薬剤放出が促進されることに着目し、生体適合性に優れたバイオマス由来天然高分子ヒドロゲ
ルの薬剤放出医療材料としての応用について、実際の研究例を挙げて述べた。第 2 章の「Ultrasound 
stimulated release of mimosa medicine from cellulose hydrogel matrix」では、セルロースヒドロゲルにミモサ
を含有させた材料の特性について、薬剤の有無について検討し、ミモサとセルロースがハイドロゲルフ
ィルム内で水素結合で保持されていることを見出した。この状況に、23、43、96 kHz の周波数の超音波
を、5W から 30W 出力で照射したところ、薬剤放出速度が超音波下では約５倍早まることを見出した。
超音波処理条件変えることで、放出速度が制御でき、超音波照射によるミモサ-セルロース-水からなる
水素結合が切断されることで徐放速度が高くなることを明らかにした。第 3 章「Ultrasound stimulated 
release of gallic acid from chitin hydrogel matrix」では、バイオマスポリマー素材をカニ由来のキチンに変
え、薬剤としてガーリック酸を担持させたヒドロゲルの作製方法を初めて確立した。この薬剤含有ヒド
ロゲルに同様に、43kHz 超音波を 5−30W の範囲で照射したところ、未照射に比べて約８倍の促進的な薬
剤放出が確認された。セルロース、アガロース、カラギーナン等のヒドロゲルにガーリック酸をたんじ
させた場合にも同様に超音波の効果を確認したところ、アガロース、カラギーナンでは超音波によるゲ
ル化崩壊が生じたが、キチン、セルロースのヒドロゲルでは、約１時間の連続照射でも徐放性は維持さ
れた。第 4 章「Ultrasound effect on cellulose decomposition in solution and hydrogels」では、セルロースヒ
ドロゲルの超音波照射における分解挙動について検討している。超音波周波数を 43kHz、141kHz、500kHz
とし、75W の出力でヒドロゲルと DMAc 溶液に照射したのちに GPC 測定を行い分子量を確認した。そ
の結果、500kHz において顕著なセルロースの分解が生じていることが明らかとなった。薬剤放出で効
率が良かった 43kHz、30W の条件ではセルロースヒドロゲルの分子量低下はほぼ見受けられないことも
確認された。第 5 章では、本研究で得られた知見を総括し、バイオマスポリマーであるセルロースやキ
チンからなるヒドロゲルからの超音波刺激薬剤放出ルの医療材料応用への可能性について述べた。 
よって、本論文は工学上及び工業上貢献するところが大きく、博士（工学）の学位論文として十分な
価値を有するものと認める。

Distribution and logistics has been an important feature not only of industrial and 
economic life but also become a concerning issue in humanitarian logistics. Many 
aspects of research works are explored in various fields with post disaster such as 
structural analysis, architecture analysis, social analysis, information system, also 
logistic analysis and so on. Logistic is the mainly supporter in two ways which are a 
victim rescuing or evacuation of people and an essential providing to survive them. This 
study attempts contributes to the previous research by considering the worst-case 
scenarios of the multi-facility location problems under uncertainty demand. 
Accordingly, main objective of the study is to tackle the facility locations problem and 
allocations with demand uncertainty function subsequently improving by vehicle 
routing. This study would like to design the facility location and also optimize the 
amount transportation of the relief items. The multi layers of facility location problem 
with deterministic are studied at the primary. Moreover, also emphasize the uncertainty 
demand by using robust optimization model. We optimize the multi-echelon of facility 
location and allocation problem simultaneously with interval demand also known as 
ellipsoidal uncertainty set which is a rather new approach that has never seen in the 
location facility fields. To consider the operation constrains, the model is restricted with 
the maximum storage in each echelon, maximum truck carrying and working hours of 
drivers. The four layers in network configuration are consisting of suppliers, depots, 
distribution centers and demand. The location of supplies and demand are known and 
fixed. However, the interval of demand is fluctuation and not known. The problem is 
solved by the mixed linear integer programming with robust optimization for 
deterministic demand and demand uncertainty. Then, given the structure is continued to 
investigate with cost concerning of opening facility location cost, transportation cost 
and transshipment cost. 
Subsequently, the time series are conducted in the model. We expand the model by 
considering 10 periods of times by a week. The parameters such as demand in the case 
study in humanitarian logistics much higher change comparing with the ordinary 
situations. The demand can be rapidly increase or rapidly decrease week by week or 
even day by day depending on the severity of the disaster and available recovering 
systems. Finally, we applied the model to a different case study, in Bangkok, Thailand. 
Even though the geographical distribution of Japan and Thailand are totally different, 
the model performed in an identical behavior. The multi-hierarchy facility location and 
using large truck to deliver both inbound and outbound network was highlight as the 
better result than the others’. Similarly to the Japanese application, to set central depots

outside or inside the affected areas are not decided definitely. By the reasons that in any 
applications have to be decided upon their own characteristics and parameters, for 
instance the distance from each location pairs and the parameter of facility cost. As 
mentioned above, the model has performed that it was satisfied in both applications; 
Japan and Thailand.
