    CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) PT. FINNANTARA INTIGA MELALUI PROGRAM DESA MAKMUR PEDULI API (DMPA) BIDANG PERTANIAN PANGAN

    The Desa Makmur Peduli Api (DMPA) Program is a form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from PT. Finnantara Intiga. This program aims to empower the local community in a productive economic sector which focuses on increasing the local people's income. The various DMPA programs that have been prepared are fish farming, cattle farming, rice, and corn farming. Based on the results of the study and agreement with the local community, the DMPA program focuses on corn farming. The purpose of this study was to determine a strategy to improve the performance of corn farming. The research method uses descriptive methods with SWOT analysis tools to determine strategic alternatives and QSPM analysis to select strategic priorities. The respondents consisted of 4 key informants and 18 regular informants for SWOT analysis and 4 experts for QSPM analysis. The result of the SWOT analysis is WO (Weakness - Opportunity) strategy with 4 alternative strategies. Based on the results of the QSPM analysis, the priority strategy is for the company have to collaborate with the government to train farmers routinely

    This study aims to analyze the pattern of the bawon wage system for farm laborers during the rice harvest season in Selopuro Village. The research location is in Selopuro Village, Selopuro District, Blitar Regency. This study uses a qualitative method. The analytical method used is descriptive method. The results showed that in the wage system pattern of agricultural laborers in the rice harvest season in the form of bawon which was accompanied by a wage sharing payment in the form of giving rice or unhulled rice. In the implementation, the rice harvest is carried out in groups and the performance of farm works is carried out well. The reason for using the bawon wage system in Selopuro Village, Blitar Regency is that the community wants to preserve the tradition, maintain the value of mutual cooperation so that it remains today, and in the bawon wage system it is able to provide benefits for farms workers and landowners so that the bawon wage system remains there is. Meanwhile, the participation of farm workers in the Bawon wage system is carried out in a way that is full of enthusiasm and hard work in harvesting rice. The Bawon wage system pattern is able to have positive and negative impacts because it has advantages and disadvantages, especially for rice field owners and agricultural laborers

    This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the farmer card program in Cabak Village, Jiken District, Blora Regency. The research sample amounted to 79 farmers who were determined using the proportional random sampling method. The research data analysis method is descriptive quantitative. The effectiveness of the farmer card program is measured based on three indicators of measuring program effectiveness, namely program success, target success and program satisfaction. The results showed that the effectiveness of the farmer card program in Cabak Village was quite effective. Serious problems that occur in the implementation of farmer card in Cabak Village are the increase in fertilizer prices and the lack of subsidized fertilizers compared to farmers' needs

    Riau Province is the largest palm oil producing province and Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) is one aspect that must be applied by farmers in increasing the competitiveness of the palm oil business they manage. This study aims to analyze the role of extension workers in implementing ISPO in Kampar District. Multistage area sampling is a sampling method used in research. The study population consisted of independent oil palm farmers with a total sample of 90 independent smallholders. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and a Likert scale. The results of the study illustrated that the counseling in Kampar District was not going well. On average, the role of extension is lacking in providing education, dissemination, information, facilitation, consultation, supervision and monitoring evaluation to independent smallholders so that farmers have not been able to apply the principles of ISPO (Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil

    THE PERFORMANCE OF COCONUT SUPPLY CHAIN IN KUBU RAYA DISTRICT

    The particular problem of coconut in Kubu Raya Regency is the ongoing partnership with suppliers to meet dynamic market changes that have not been well established. Supply chain management has become an important matter in the coconut industry in Kubu Raya Regency. Measurement of the performance of the coconut industry supply chain in order to optimize the performance of the coconut supply chain in Kubu Raya Regency, so that the realization of an efficient and effective coconut supply chain. Measurement of added value is done using the Hayami method and performance measurement is done by the SCOR method. The result of value added analysis shows that the added value of coconut in the farmer level is 758 rupiah / fruit. Analysis of supply performance using the SCOR method shows the performance of each member of the supply chain. Farmers have a 72.3% performance value included in the category below average. Traders and collectors obtained a performance value of 55.7% included in the Poor category

    DETERMINAN PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN KONSUMEN DAGING AYAM RAS DI PASAR TRADISIONAL MURNI DAN SNI KABUPATEN SITUBONDO

    Consumer decision making to buy purebred chicken meat in pure traditional markets is higher than SNI traditional markets which have advantages in cleanliness, facilities, and service. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of consumers and the determinants of consumer decision-making to buy chicken meat in pure and traditional SNI markets. The research method used was descriptive-analytic. The sample was 100 people with convenience sampling. Chi-square and Mann-Whitney tests were used to analyze consumer characteristics, and logistic regression to analyze consumer decision-making factors. The results showed that there was a relationship between the consumer's occupation and the decision to buy chicken meat, and there were differences in education and income between consumers in pure traditional markets and SNI traditional markets. Variables that significantly influence consumer decisions are the price of purebred chicken, location, number of family members, and education. For managers of traditional markets in Situbondo Regency, it is necessary to arrange shops, improve market facilities such as waiting rooms and maintain cleanliness so that they remain consumer choices

    PERFORMA KOMODITAS MINYAK SAWIT INDONESIA DI TATARAN GLOBAL: MAMPUKAH KITA MENJADI PEMAIN KUNCI?

    Palm oil is important Indonesia's export commodities. Amidst the strong position, Indonesia's palm oil exports face many challenges. This study aims to identify the performance of Indonesian palm oil compared to competing countries, the competitiveness, the market position, and the potential development of the commodity in several major trading partners. The results of Revealed Comparative Advantage and Trade Specialization Index calculations show that Indonesia's comparative competitiveness is the highest among other major exporters or producers, and Indonesia's exports are at the maturity stage. Regarding Market Position Matrix and X-Model of Potential Export Products Clusterization, the Indonesian palm oil markets in India, China, and the USA are rising stars and optimistic about developing. Meanwhile, in Pakistan and Malaysia, Indonesia experienced a lost opportunity, and the Spanish market was in a falling position but still had the potential to be improved due to the high competitiveness of the product. On the other hand, in Netherlands and Italy, it experienced a retreat, allegedly due to negative sentiment towards palm oil as the cause of various environmental destruction

    ANALISIS PERWILAYAHAN KOMODITAS SEMANGKA DI KABUPATEN BANYUWANGI

    Watermelon commodity has the highest productivity compared to other superior fruit commodities in Banyuwangi Regency. However, the land area and production of watermelon commodities are still quite volatile and their distribution is uneven. Therefore, a regional approach for watermelon commodities is needed in Banyuwangi Regency. This study aimed to determine the watermelon commodity base area, the characteristics of the watermelon commodity distribution, and the carrying capacity of the watermelon commodity on fruit horticultural crops in the Banyuwangi Regency. The determination of the research area was carried out intentionally in Banyuwangi Regency. The analytical methods used were Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, localization and specialization analysis, as well as Basic Service Ratio (BSR) and Regional Multiplier (RM) analysis. The results of the analysis show that the sub-district area was the basis for watermelon commodities in Banyuwangi Regency. The characteristics of the distribution of watermelon commodities in the Banyuwangi Regency were not localized. Watermelon farming activities are not concentrated in one sub-district but spread to several sub-districts in Banyuwangi Regency. The results of the analysis of the Basic Service Ratio (BSR) and Regional Multiplier (RM) of watermelon commodities produce more than one value. The existence of watermelon commodity farming activities can support fruit horticultural farming activities in Banyuwangi Regency

    PENGARUH MOTIVASI PETANI TERHADAP KEBERLANJUTAN CORPORATE FARMING DI KALURAHAN TRIMULYO KAPANEWON JETIS KABUPATEN BANTUL

    Corporate farming is an activity to manage a stretch of farmer's land in one management, considering that extensification is challenging to implement in Bantul Regency. research aims to (1) knowing the motivation of farmers in implementing corporate farming in Bantul Regency; (2) knowing the factors that influence the motivation of farmers in implementing corporate farming in Bantul Regency; (3) knowing the influence of motivation on the sustainability of corporate farming in Bantul Regency. The method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample used is 30 members of the corporate farming group, using a random sampling technique. Data were analyzed by proportion test, multiple linear regression, and simple linear regression. The results showed that most of the members of the corporate farming group had high motivation. Factors that positively affect farmers' motivation in implementing corporate farming include education level, side work, length of farming, membership status, farmer's attitude, role of farmer groups, and farmer's land ownership area. Motivation has a positive effect on the sustainability of corporate farming

    The high potential of fisheries in Banyuwangi has caused many canned sardine processing industries to be established, one of which is PT. Sumber Yalasamudra in Muncar District. In recent years the population of lemuru fish has decreased so that PT. Sumber Yalasamudra must be able to carry out good supply chain management so that the production process continues to run smoothly. This study aimed to analyze the supply chain flow and supply chain performance of PT. Sumber Yalasamudra. The research method used descriptive analysis to explain supply chain flow and SCOR analysis to measure supply chain performance of PT. Sumber Yalasamudra. The results of the analysis showed that the supply chain flow of PT. Sumber Yalasamudra are divided into 3 streams, namely (a) product flows from fishermen to final consumers (buyers), (b) financial flows flowing from downstream to upstream in cash with a period of time and (c) information flows flowing from upstream to downstream and vice versa, and supply chain performance of PT Sumber Yalasamudra based on 5 attributes of SCM (Supply Chain Management) it can be concluded that PT Sumber Yalasamudra has a good performance because it is in a superior position
