Get PDFTarget of which wish to be reached in this research is to depict execution of MBS in MTSN Batusangkar and explain its contribution to make-up of quality and quality education of madrasah and also explain supplementary factor and resistor met in its execution. Result of this research of meneggambarkan that execution of MBS in good enough MTSN Batusangkar. its Management system enough succeed to give contribution in improving student achievement and have appearance of good enough organization. As for supplementary factor in execution of MBS in MTSN Batusangkar besides society support and government which is high enough, also leadership which is kharismatik. Get PDFThe problem of this Classroom Action Research is how Cooperative Learning Model Jigsaw should be implemented in the learning of Chemistry at Grade X, Scince 3 of Senior High School 1 Padang. This study was done through the following stages such as Planning, Action, Observation, and Evaluation or Reflection. The results show among other that some important aspects were improved. The average score of each cycles show improvement in students’ mastery and total average of the three actions become 98 percent. It can be concluded that Cooperative Learning through Jigsaw technique improved students’ achievement of the subject being investigated

THE CONTRIBUTION OF ENGLISH STUDENTS’ SPEAKING STRATEGIES AND MOTIVATION ON THEIR SPEAKING ABILITY AT TARBIYAH FACULTY OF IAIN IMAM BONJOL PADANG
Get PDFAbstract: The aims of the study are to describe: 1. Speaking strategies that are most frequently used by the students of the English Department in Tarbiyah Faculty; 2. The contribution of Students’ Speaking-Related LLS in developing their speaking ability; and, 3. The contribution of students’ learning motivation in the development of their speaking skills. speaking test, strategy inventory for language learning (SILL), and learning motivation questionnaire were employed to collect the data. The research findings revealed that there were thirty-four speaking strategies which were most frequently used by high, average, and low achievement students. The findings also showed that bothe students’ speaking strategies and motivation give significant contribution on students’ speaking ability. Thus, speaking lecturers are expected to be able to implement innovative and varied teaching techniques

However, this study is limited to the analysis of the figurative languages with reference to the translation of the novel The Other Side Of Me into Sisi Lain Diriku. This study is aimed at finding out the type of the Figurative Languages that found in the novel and finding the equivalence if the text meaning based on 3 Word-Meaning Approaches theory combined with Knowledge Based Theory. The analysis was presented in the forms of words and sentences. The result of this study showed that there are 4 types of Figurative Languages. And there also shown the relation between 3 meaning approaches and knowledge based theory

THE CORRELATION BETWEEN CHARACTER BUILDING AND PEACEFUL THINKING OF STUDENTS AT DARUSSALAM ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL IN PONOROGO, EAST JAVA
Get PDFThe aim of this research to identify the correlation between the character building and peaceful thinking of students at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School (Gontor). Character building is a fundamental part of Islamic education in Darussalam Islamic Boarding School as an agenda for educating their students, like: sincerity, simplycity, self-sufficency Islamic Brotherhood and freedom. This is descriptive quantitative research which observation and questionaire were used to colected the data. Population of this research were 400 pupils. Meanwhile, the sample of 200 students were as respondents of this research (simple random sampling). This research was found that there were correlation between character building and peaceful thinking of students. The r score = 0,511 and r table = 1,64 and p = 0.000 , 0.05. It means, Ho rejected and recieved H1. There were correlation between character building and peaceful thinking of students
