Get PDFCounseling is a ’multi refential’ science which is developed from several sciences and other theories. In the theoretical perspective, counseling must not be regarded as certain view of providing assistance process, rather, it is a body of knowledge developed from various sources such as the influences of certain techniques, the rise of a status as well as appreciation of subjective individual element, understanding of human’s development and knowledge of society. Counseling process that is not based on theory will mislead councelor and reduce the opportunity to change the client’s behavior. Islam regards counseling as a virtue as many verses of the Quran and Prophet Tradition (Hadith) discuss the practice of counseling. It is important for the counselor to master Islamic teaching approach so that they can fulfil the needs to future religious counseling
STUDI ISLAM TENTANG AKHLAK KONSELOR
Get PDFAmong the main characteristics of good Muslims, based on the Quran, is good behavior or conduct (akhlaq). It is a basic Islamic teaching that must be understood, internalized, and practiced in daily lives either personally or in society. It is said that akhlaq is like an endless sea. It cannot be separated with the other dimensions; it is in accord with thoughts, action and words, between commanding and keeping away of something. A Muslim counselor has to have Islamic conduct as reflected in God’s characters, as well as character and conducts of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
SMALL AND MEDIUM INDUSTRY FOR SUSTAINING MADRASA IN GLOBAL CHANGE (Study at Darul Ma’rifat Modern Islamic Boarding School in East Java)
Get PDFAny types and size of industry is required for the sustainable development of a Boarding School (Madrasa). Current study at Darul Ma’rifat Modern Islamic Boarding School in East Java is directed to describe: (1) the size and function of industry at Darul Ma’rifat Modern Islamic Boarding School; (2) the life-skill and the enterprenourships capability of the students; and (3) the effect of life-skills and the enterprenourships capability towards self-fulfilment attitude of students. All of the sixth grade students population (542 pupils) were randomly taken to get 226 students sample by using Slovin formula : n = N / 1 + N. e2. ( n = sample size, 1 = constanta variable, N = population, e = standard error / 0,05). Data were collected through observation, psychological scale and interview. They were then analyzed using regression supported by Statistical Package of Social Science programme. The results show that: (1) There were thirty unit small and medium industry at Darul Ma’rifat Modern Islamic Boarding School. (2) Life-skills and the enterprenourships capability of the students were taught through practice like; working in bread industry and mini market etc. (3) The mean scored of life-skills and the enterprenourships of the students were 82% categorized high.Copyright © 2013 by Al-Ta'lim All right reservedDOI: 10.15548/jt.v20i3.4

The problem occurs not only due to the lack of control of the parents, but also from school. Therefore, today a lot of changes in our education system, one of them are Character Education. The character education teaches habitual ways of thinking and behavior that help learners to live and work together with families, communities, and countries and help them to make decisions that can be accounted for. TAFSIR LUGHAWI
Get PDFLughawi Tafsir (Quranic Interpretation) explains the Holy Qur’an through semiotic and semantic including language, morphology, lexical, grammatical, and rhetoric. This kind of interpretation has been used by Mufassir (experts in Quranic Interpretastion) to explain the verses of the Quran. Since the Quran was written in a very high style of language, the mufassirs who applied this method should have capability with certain criteria.The Lughawi Tafsir appeared in 2nd and 3rd H, along with the integration of the Arabs and non-Arabians. The fact that Arabic was no longer superior language of that time and the decrease of zaug ‘arabi (sense of Arabic), necessitated the Mufassirs to strengthen the language so that they could figure out the meanings of the Qur’an. No full textThe significance position of teaching and learning process of Arabic in State Institute for Islamic Studies ‘Imam Bonjol’ of Padang is in line with the original existence of this institution; that is to produce credible Muslim scholars who are committed to uphold the right and eliminate the sinful. It is expected that through the teaching and learning process of Arabic, will enable the students to explore the teaching of Islam from the original sources written in Arabic, to use the language for communication, as well as to teach it to other people. Problems encountered by the institution have been continually resolved through some trainings provided for the instructors. Technical training and assistance from Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and Marocco are currently incorporated in conjunction with Arabic teaching
