THE EFFECT OF PAID ADS ON SKINCARE SALES ON FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE
Globalization is an event that thins the borders between countries and involves trade, tourism, culture, knowledge, and global relations. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, case study, and naturalistic approach, which require humans as research subjects. Facebook failed to attract skincare customers. The results of the interview with users of the skincare product show that they use ordinary unframed photos, which makes the photos look simple and not very appealing. Furthermore, the strategy for writing the posts only uses calls to action (CTAs) without additional elements like location or links that could attract customers. The novelty in this study combines the S-O-R theory with the depth interview technique in exploring the use of social media. The implications of this study are expected to provide marketing managers with a deeper understanding of the influence of paid advertising on product sales
DIGITAL BUSINESS TRANFORMATION: THE ULTIMATE STRATEGY OF PT. PLN (PERSERO) IN BOOSTING BUSINESS PERFORMANCE AND AVOIDING FINANCIAL DISTRESS
This study investigates the financial distress of PT PLN (Persero), Indonesia's state-owned electricity provider, from 2019 to 2023 using the Springate S-Score method. Despite implementing digital business transformation and human resource development initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality, PLN faces ongoing financial challenges. These challenges stem from high debt levels incurred due to the company's ambitious 35,000 MW power expansion project, as well as persistent cash flow difficulties. The study analyzes key financial indicators such as the debt-to-equity ratio, cash flow issues, and operational inefficiencies, tracking the company's fluctuating financial health. The Springate S-Score results indicate significant financial distress in 2021, reflecting the peak of PLN's financial pressures. However, improvements are observed in 2022 and 2023, signaling a gradual recovery as a result of cost-cutting measures and strategic adjustments. Based on the findings, the study recommends that PLN focus on reducing capital expenditures, renegotiating debt terms, and enhancing financial management practices. These measures are designed to stabilize the company’s financial position and improve its long-term sustainability, particularly as the energy sector continues to evolve with increasing demands for efficiency and renewable energy solutions. This study further emphasizes the impact of PLN’s operational inefficiencies, which have compounded its financial difficulties. The company's reliance on external financing has increased its vulnerability to debt servicing pressures. Additionally, the fluctuating energy prices and challenges in maintaining consistent revenue streams have added to its financial strain. By addressing these core issues, PLN can improve its resilience and adapt to the evolving energy landscape, ensuring both financial stability and operational sustainability in the long term. The recommendations provided aim to balance the need for infrastructure development with financial prudence, positioning PLN for a more secure future. Keywords: Business Transformation ,Financial Distress, Bankruptc

(2) the stage making the plan of the visual subject is able to make a plan with the information already known by describing the steps of completion on another sheet, whereas the auditory subject pronounces the strategy well with a loud voice as well as with the kinesthetic subject can make plans with the already known information but make different completion steps. (3) the stage implementing the visual, auditory and kinesthetic subject plan can complete the completion in accordance with the known information and the planned strategy, even though there are errors in the steps on the kinetical subject but the subject is capable of determining completion according to the plan.
META ANALYSIS: A METACOGNITION APPROACH TO STUDENTS' MATHEMATICAL PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITIES
Problem solving is an important element in solving real life problems. When students are solving mathematical problems, students are faced with several challenges such as difficulty in understanding the problem because of problems that students have faced before. From the results of the teaching and learning activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the questions given to 36 students show that students' problem solving abilities are still low. The average obtained was 63.75 and classical completeness was 67%. Based on the results of the PISA survey in 2018, Indonesia was ranked 64th out of 65 countries that took part in the test. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in problem solving abilities using a metacognitive approach. This research uses a meta-analysis method by reviewing several articles in national and international journals. This meta-analysis is quantitative because it uses numerical calculations and statistics. This meta-analysis research uses 12 samples of relevant journals in national journals. Based on the results of the meta-analysis, it can be concluded that the articles that have been analyzed have an effect size value in the very high category of 17% of all articles, an effect size in the negligible category of 17%, an effect size in the high category of 17% of all articles. . The effect size in the medium category is 17% of the entire article. The effect size in the low category is 25% of the entire article. Based on the calculation results, the t_count value was 9.63 and the t_table value was 1.96; Thus the conclusion is obtained t_count=9.63>t_tabel=1.96. So H_0 is rejected. So, the average problem solving ability of experimental group students is more than the average of control group students
Instream Flow Rights for Protecting River Ecology in Nigeria's Bitumen Zone: Learning From Uganda's Experience
Water is a vital resource essential for the survival of humans, animals, and ecosystems. Its inclusion in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) underscores its importance. Effective management and regulation of water resources are critical for achieving development across key sectors. However, freshwater scarcity is an increasing concern, particularly with the high water consumption involved in bitumen mining and production. This study employs a hybrid research method to assess water resource regulation in Nigeria and Uganda. A total of 226 questionnaires were distributed to respondents in Nigeria, and the data was analyzed using descriptive and analytical techniques. The findings reveal a lack of a robust legal framework regulating water usage in bitumen mining in Nigeria, in contrast to Uganda, where more comprehensive water regulations exist. The study further concludes that unregulated water withdrawals for bitumen production in Nigeria threaten the achievement of SDG 6.4, which focuses on sustainable water use. To prevent ecological disasters and ensure the sustainability of freshwater ecosystems in Nigeria's bitumen belt, the study recommends strengthening existing legal and institutional frameworks to guarantee instream flow and sustainable water use in mining activities, drawing from the experiences of countries like Uganda. Keywords: Bitumen, Freshwater, Instream Flow, Mining, Sustainable Development Goals, Water Managemen
