ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS’ UNDERSTANDING OF CONCEPTS AND LEARNING INDEPENDENDENCE IN TERMS OF STUDENT LEARNING MOTIVATION ASSISTED BY MACROMEDIA FLASH
This research aims to: (1) To find out whether there is a difference in students' ability to understand concepts between students who were given Macromedia Flash media and students who were given Power Point media (2) To find out whether there is a difference in students' independent learning abilities between students who were given Macromedia Flash media. with students who were given power point media. This type of research is a quasi experiment. This research was carried out in SMA Kesatuan Meranti in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of the research show that: 1) There is a difference in students' ability to understand concepts between students who were given Macromedia Flash media and Power Point media, where the application of Macromedia Flash media was better than students who received Power Point media for their ability to understand concepts; 2) There is a difference in students' independent learning abilities between students who were given Macromedia Flash media and Power Point media, where the application of Macromedia Flash media was better than students who received Power Point media for students' independent learning abilities; 3) There is an interaction between learning media and student learning motivation which is used on students' ability to understand concepts; 4) There is no interaction between learning media and student learning motivation which is used on students' independent learning abilities
VALIDITY AND PRACTICALITY OF STEAM-BASED MATHEMATICS MODULE
Developments in the world of education and technology have brought various challenges and real problems that need to be overcome. In facing these challenges, innovation is needed in learning methods that can improve students' skills in understanding and solving problems in everyday life. STEAM-based learning encourages students to develop their potential through exploration and problem solving. This study aims to develop a STEAM-based integer mathematics module. The development model used is ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). This section focuses on the validity and practicality of the module. Module validation was carried out by 3 experts which included material validation and media validation. The validation results obtained from the Content Validity Index (CV) were 1 in the aspects of content feasibility, language, presentation, and media. The module practicality test was carried out by implementing the module in two learning sessions attended by 16 grade 7 students. After learning, students were given a practicality questionnaire. Based on the results of the practicality questionnaire, a score of 4 was obtained. Therefore, it can be said that the developed module is very feasible and very practical to use in learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the STEAM-based integer mathematics module is valid and practical for use in learning to improve students' problem-solving abilities.Keywords: math module, STEAM, integers, validity, practicalit
IMPLEMENTATION OF CONTEXTUAL-BASED DIFFERENTIATIONAL LEARNING ON THE PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY OF GRADE 8^TH STUDENTS
Problem-solving ability is one of the important skills in learning mathematics because it involves high-level thinking processes needed to solve complex and contextual problems. However, in reality, many students still have difficulty in understanding and solving mathematical problems because learning does not adjust to individual needs. Therefore, differentiated learning is a relevant approach because it is able to accommodate the diversity of learning styles, interests, and student readiness.This study aims to describe the application of contextual-based differentiated learning to the problem-solving abilities of grade VIII students. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental method. The research design used is a pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection techniques use observations of teachers' ability to manage learning, observations of student activities and problem-solving ability tests before and after learning. The results of the study showed that the results of observations of teachers managing learning were good because the average score was 3.00, the results of observations of student activities were 3.49, the completeness of learning outcomes in the experimental class had met the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and the problem-solving abilities of students taught with contextual-based differentiated learning were better than the problem-solving abilities of students taught with conventional learning because the t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes (sig.0.011 <0.05), while the n-gain test showed a higher increase in problem-solving abilities in the experimental class (78.97%) compared to the control class (77.53%). This shows that contextual-based differentiated learning is more effective than conventional learning
SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW: PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY REVIEWED FROM STUDENTS' LEARNING INDEPENDENCE
Mathematical problem solving ability is a process carried out by students to solve problems given by using their knowledge and understanding. From several facts obtained, mathematical problem solving ability in Indonesia is included in the low category. One of the factors causing the lack of students' problem solving ability is the lack of student learning independence so that students are not trained when they get non-routine questions given by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical problem solving ability in terms of student learning independence. The research method used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which is carried out by reviewing, evaluating, and interpreting various relevant studies. The results of the study stated that there is a very strong influence of learning independence on students' mathematics KPM. The higher the student's learning independence, the higher the student's mathematical problem solving ability
PENERAPAN SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN CALON PASANGAN IDEAL METODE SAW DAN WP
Selama bertahun-tahun, kemajuan dalam bidang teknologi informasi (TI) membawa perubahan dan keuntungan yang signifikan. Selain itu, kemajuan ini juga membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan. Proses yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia adalah memilih pasangan hidup. Untuk melakukannya dengan benar, diperlukan banyak persiapan dan pertimbangan. Dalam fase kehidupan, ada tantangan dan masalah unik karena banyaknya kriteria yang digunakan untuk memilih pasangan. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) adalah bagian dari sistem informasi berbasis komputer (termasuk yang berbasis pengetahuan) yang digunakan untuk membantu organisasi atau perusahaan membuat keputusan. SPK dapat memberikan rekomendasi pilihan yang objektif dan dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu saat memilih pasangan hidup. SPK yang diterapkan pada penilitan ini menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dan Weighted Product (WP). Penggabungan metode SAW dan WP dalam penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan akurasi hasil perhitungan sebesar 99%
IMPLEMENTASI MICROSERVICE PADA APLIKASI MANAJEMEN PROYEK PERANGKAT LUNAK YANG TERINTEGRASI DENGAN GITEA
Manajemen proyek telah berevolusi dari metode tradisional ke pendekatan agile, yang mengurangi dokumentasi dan menggunakan kode sumber sebagai dokumen proyek untuk mencerminkan fitur dan alur sistem perangkat lunak. PT Gaws Inti Solusi, sebuah perusahaan perangkat lunak, menghadapi tantangan dalam menggunakan Gitea untuk version control dan distribusi pekerjaan karena antarmuka yang tidak memenuhi kebutuhan mereka. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem manajemen proyek berbasis web yang terintegrasi dengan Gitea dan menggunakan arsitektur microservice serta metodologi Spiral, untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan kolaborasi dalam pelaksanaan proyek. Hasil penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi perusahaan perangkat lunak dan tim proyek yang ingin meningkatkan pengelolaan tugas, memperlancar kolaborasi, dan mengoptimalkan penggunaan alat version control seperti Gitea. Meskipun pengembangan aplikasi belum sepenuhnya selesai, penelitian ini berhasil menjawab pertanyaan mengenai rancangan dan implementasi sistem manajemen proyek, integrasinya dengan Gitea, serta penerapan arsitektur microservice, dan telah menyelesaikan sebagian besar kebutuhan fungsional penting hingga mencapai tahap beta-release
RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI REKAP JUMANTIK BERBASIS MOBILE MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK FLUTTER
Kelurahan Keagungan adalah salah satu unit kerja pada Instansi Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Salah satu kegiatan yang saat ini rutin berjalan, adalah pemantauan jentik nyamuk yang dilakukan oleh para kader Jumantik. Saat ini proses pencatatan rekap jumantik masih menggunakan sistem manual, yaitu dengan menggunakan media kertas yang berisikan format form tabel. Pencatatan data menggunakan media kertas masih ditemukan data yang keliru, dengan informasi yang diberikan oleh anggota kader jumantik. Sehingga sering terjadi kesalahan dalam merekap format laporan, dan terjadi keterlambatan dalam waktu pengumpulan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi yang diharapkan dapat memaksimalkan keakuratan informasi, serta penghematan waktu dalam pembuatan laporan. Sistem informasi rekap jumantik yang dibuat adalah berbasis mobile, dan dikembangkan menggunakan model System Development Life Cycles (SDLC) dengan metode sistem waterfall dan framewok flutter yaitu Dart serta SQL untuk databasenya. Sistem informasi rekap jumantik berbasis mobile yang dirancang, dibuat agar pemantauan dan dalam mengumpulkan laporan jumantik menjadi tepat waktu, cepat, rapih dan sudah terkomputerisasi. Selain itu, sistem informasi berbasis mobile ini sebagai peningkatan penggunaan teknologi yang khusus pada penggunaan smartphone, yang dimanfaatkan dalam melakukan kegiatan yang positif dan bernilai manfaat
PERBANDINGAN ANALISIS VARIASI UKURAN DIAMETER PULLEY PADA PENGGERAK MESIN JAHIT TYPICAL TERHADAP PEMASANGAN RENDA MUKENA
Pulley, bagaikan roda ajaib dalam dunia mesin, memiliki peran penting dalam meneruskan putaran dari penggerak motor ke bagian lain yang ingin digerakkan. Kemampuannya tak hanya sebatas meneruskan putaran, pulley juga mampu mengatur kecepatan, mempercepat, atau memperlambat putaran sesuai kebutuhan. Renda adalah elemen penting dalam dunia menjahit, menghadirkan sentuhan anggun dan feminin yang tak tergantikan. Lebih dari sekedar hiasan, renda memiliki fungsi penting dalam memperkuat kain, mencegah kerusakan, dan menambah detail yang indah. Dari perubahan ukuran diameter pulley yang telah dilakukan membuktikan besarnya pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja mesin jahit khas terhadap pemasangan renda pada mukena baik dari putaran, torsi, maupun hasil produktifitasnya sendiri. Pulley yang menghasilkan putaran poros paling cepat adalah pulley yang berukuran diameter 100 mm mencapai 4041,42 Rpm dan putaran poros yang paling lambat adalah pulley yang berdiameter 80 mm mencapai 3257,14 Rpm. Pulley yang menghasilkan torsi yang paling tinggi adalah pulley yang berdiameter 80 mm sebesar 855,7 Nm dan torsi yang paling kecil adalah pulley yang berdiamter 100 mm sebesar 683,5 Nm kemudian hasil rata – rata produktifitas terbanyak adalah hasilkan dengan pulley yang berdiameter 100 mm dengan hasil produktifitas sebanyak 112 pcs/jam atau 481,6 meter/jam. Dan hasil rata – rata produktifitas paling sedikit di hasilkan dengan pulley yang berdiameter 80 mm dengan hasil produktifitas sebanyak 92 pcs/jam atau 395,6 meter/jam. Dari hasil tersebut kami mampu membuktikan bahwa ukuran pulley sangat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja mesin jahit khas terhadap pemasangan renda pada mukena.Kata Kunci : Katrol, Renda, dan Ukuran diameter katrol
An Analysis of Common Weaknesses in the Results of the Language Proficiency Test among Students of the Arabic Language Education Department at Makassar State University
This study aims to identify common weaknesses faced by university students in the Test of Arabic as a Foreign Language exam. The main focus is on Arabic comprehension skills in various aspects such as reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This study used descriptive analysis method with qualitative approach. Data were collected through students' TOAFL exam results, which were then analyzed to identify patterns of common weaknesses. This research also refers to various literatures and previous studies to strengthen the findings. The results showed that students experienced the greatest difficulties in the aspects of reading comprehension and proper vocabulary usage. Many students were unable to comprehend the text well and were often incorrect in their use of words. In addition, it was also found that students' writing and speaking skills still need to be improved, especially in terms of sentence structure and grammar. This study suggests the need for more effective teaching strategies to improve students' Arabic language skills. The recommendations include increased vocabulary practice, the use of more diverse texts in teaching, and an emphasis on a deeper understanding of grammar. Thus, it is expected that students' TOAFL exam results can improve significantly. THE MEDIATING EFFECT OF PROFITABILITY ON LIQUIDITY AND CAPITAL STRUCTURE ON COMPANY GROWTH: EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE FROM JAKARTA ISLAMIC INDEX (JII) COMPANIES
The purpose of this study was to determine the mediating effect of profitability on liquidity and capital structure on company growth with empirical evidence from the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). The research used is the quantitative method. The subjects used 17 companies listed JII for 2021-2023. The data analysis used is path analysis, hypothesis testing, the coefficient of determination, path calculation, and the Sobel test. The results of the study are that the liquidity variable (X1) on profitability has no effect and is not significant. The liquidity variable (X1) on profitability has no effect and is not significant. The liquidity variable has no effect on company growth and is not significant. Capital structure variable has no effect on company growth and is not significant. Profitability variable has a positive and significant effect on company growth. Profitability variable cannot affect the relationship between liquidity (X1) and profitability. Profitability variable cannot mediate the effect of capital structure variable on company growth
