    Pembelajaran IPS di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa akibat kurangnya media pembelajaran interaktif. Augmented Reality (AR) berpotensi memberikan pengalaman belajar imersif dan mendukung pemahaman konsep lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital interaktif berbasis AR, Manarang AR, serta mengkaji kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ASSURE yang terdiri dari enam tahapan: Analyze Learner, State Objectives, Select or Design Media and Materials, Utilize Media and Materials, Require Learner Participation, dan Evaluate. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respon guru dan siswa, observasi, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Manarang AR sangat layak digunakan (validasi ahli media 90%, ahli materi 93%). Media ini juga sangat praktis (observasi keterlaksanaan 93%). Dari segi efektivitas, 88% siswa pada uji kelompok besar mencapai kategori hasil belajar sangat tinggi. Respon siswa terhadap media ini juga sangat positif. Kesimpulannya, Manarang AR efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar IPS. Media ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pendidikan dan menjadi referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya

    THE INFLUENCE OF GLOBALIZATION ON THE TEACHING STYLES OF GEOGRAPHY TEACHERS IN INDONESIA

    Abstract. This study aims to analyze the impact of globalization on the teaching style of geography teachers in Indonesia. The main focus of this research is to identify the extent to which globalization influences four key parameters in teaching: technology adaptation, multiculturalism, global literacy and skills, and educational standards and evaluation. The method used is a survey involving 100 geography teachers from 19 provinces in Indonesia, who assessed their responses to these parameters using a Likert scale. The regression analysis results show that globalization has a significant impact on teaching styles, with a regression coefficient of 0.7486, meaning that every increase in adaptation to globalization enhances the teaching style by 0.7486 units. The R² value of 60.40% and the adjusted R² of 58.78% indicate that around 60% of the variation in teaching style can be explained by the influence of globalization. These findings suggest that globalization encourages teachers to integrate technology into their teaching, promote multicultural values, and apply international educational standards. This study concludes that the influence of globalization on teaching styles in Indonesia is substantial and fosters an improvement in the quality of geography education.Keywords: Globalization, Teaching Style, Geography Teacher

    MEMORI KOLEKTIF : PERISTIWA MANDOR BERDARAH BAGI MASYARAKAT KALIMANTAN BARAT

    This study aims to explore how the people of West Kalimantan maintain and transmit collective memory of this tragedy through oral traditions, rituals, and memorial sites such as the Makam Juang Mandor. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews as the main data collection technique. The research informants consisted of the victims' families, community leaders, local historians, the general public, and students involved in commemoration efforts and studies of the event. In-depth interviews were conducted with a semi-structured guide to explore their personal experiences and views related to the Bloody Mandor event, the role of oral traditions, and annual commemoration ceremonies. In addition, observations of commemoration activities and visits to historical sites were also used to enrich the data. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, which identified key themes such as the meaning of the Bloody Mandor event in the context of local identity and how the community maintains collective memory. The results of this study indicate that collective memory not only functions as a tool to remember history, but also strengthens the social identity and cultural solidarity of the people of West Kalimantan. However, challenges arise in passing on this history to the younger generation who are increasingly exposed to modern narratives through digital media. This research contributes to the understanding of historical consciousness and identity of the Indonesian nation, as well as the importance of integrating local historical narratives into national discours

    MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TGT BERBASIS GAMES TREASURE HUNT DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH DI SMA

    This study aims to describe the effect of implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model based on the Treasure Hunt game on students' learning motivation in history learning at the high school level. The study was conducted at Santo Bernadus High School, Pekalongan, in class X with 23 students consisting of 15 male students and 7 female students. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that the TGT model based on Treasure Hunt is able to increase students' attention, involvement, and learning satisfaction. The presentation of history questions thematically and spread across various school locations creates an active, collaborative, and relevant learning atmosphere to students' lives. In addition, this approach is in accordance with the characteristics of adolescents who like challenges, exploration, and group work, thus contributing significantly to increasing learning motivation. This study recommends the TGT Treasure Hunt model as an innovative alternative in a more meaningful and enjoyable history learning strategy

    This study analyzes the factors influencing students' decisions to pursue postgraduate education, specifically in the Social Sciences Education Study Program (PIPS) at Almuslim University. The primary focus is to identify the role of factors such as motivation for career advancement and educational costs in shaping students' decisions. The research design of this study was survey research using the exploratory approach and factors analysis. The subjects of the study were all students at Social Science Education of postgraduate Program at Almuslim University in period 2023.  The findings revealed that the drive to enhance competence and credibility to increase career opportunities is a key motivation for students to continue their education. Career advancement often serves as a significant motivator, especially since a postgraduate degree is frequently regarded as a critical requirement for higher positions. Additionally, the cost of education, both direct and indirect, is shown to be a crucial factor affecting students' decisions. Financial constraints often pose a barrier for those wishing to pursue further studies, although adequate financial support can alleviate such concerns. The study's findings imply the need to improve access to financial support, such as scholarships and education loans, as well as to strengthen policies that promote higher education as a criterion for career advancement. Recommendations are directed to the government and educational institutions to expand scholarship programs and educate students about the importance of postgraduate education for career development

    Abstract. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of comic media in improving students’ motivation and learning outcomes in the Islamic Economics subject at SMK Negeri 3 Depok. The research was motivated by the low interest and engagement of students in understanding the conceptual content of Islamic Economics. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto design was used. Data were collected through learning motivation questionnaires and achievement tests administered before and after the implementation of comic media. The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant improvement in students' motivation and learning outcomes. Furthermore, simple linear regression analysis revealed a positive and significant influence of comic media on both variables. This study is grounded in a positivist paradigm while also adopting a post-positivist perspective to acknowledge the educational context. The findings suggest that comic media effectively delivers content in an engaging, contextual, and student-centered manner, aligning with the Merdeka Curriculum principles of differentiated and meaningful learning. Thus, comic media can serve as an effective and innovative teaching strategy to enhance student engagement and academic achievement. Keywords: Comic Media, Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes, Islamic Economics, Merdeka Curriculum  Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media komik dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi Syariah di SMK Negeri 3 Depok. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya minat dan keterlibatan siswa dalam memahami materi Ekonomi Syariah yang bersifat konseptual. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian ex post facto. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket motivasi belajar dan tes hasil belajar yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media komik. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, hasil regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media komik memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kedua variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini berpijak pada paradigma positivisme dan didukung oleh post-positivisme dalam memahami konteks sosial pendidikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media komik mampu menyampaikan materi secara menarik, kontekstual, dan sesuai dengan gaya belajar siswa, serta sejalan dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan diferensiasi dan pembelajaran bermakna. Oleh karena itu, media komik dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pencapaian belajar siswa. Keywords:  Media Komik, Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar,  Ekonomi Syariah,  Kurikulum Merdeka

    ANALISIS KARAKTER DISIPLIN SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS KELAS IV SD NEGERI 90 SINGKAWANG

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui karakter disiplin siswa pada pembelajaran IPS kelas IV SD Negeri 90 Singkawang 2) Mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi karakter disiplin siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 90 Singkawang. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 42 orang siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 90 Singkawang. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah angket nilai karakter disiplin siswa, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Karakter disiplin siswa pada pembelajaran IPS kelas IV SD Negeri 90 Singkawang berada pada kategori sedang, dengan masing-masing kategori karakter disiplin siswa yaitu terdapat 81,25 rata-rata skor siswa karakter disiplin tinggi berjumlah 15 siswa, 58 rata-rata skor karakter disiplin sedang berjumlah 21 siswa, dan 30 rata-rata skor karakter disiplin rendah berjumlah 6 siswa. Dari hasil persentase perindikator terdapat 83,75% ketercapaian indikator karakter disiplin siswa teringgi pada indikator datang dan masuk kelas pada waktunya, sementara 73,5%  indikator karakter disiplin siswa terendah adalah pada indikator menaati peraturan kelas. 2) Faktor yang mempengaruhi karakter disiplin siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 90 Singkawang yaitu faktor internal kesadaran diri dan faktor eksternal hukuman

    MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF LIVEWORKSHEETS DENGAN PENDEKATAN CASE BASED LEARNING: PRELIMINARY STUDY

    Kreativitas, kolaboratif, berfikir kritis dan komunikatif merupakan keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dimiliki setiap mahasiswa dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan global. Kemampuan ini dapat dikembangkan melalui berbagai aktivitas pembelajaran yang berkualitas dan mendukung kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan media interaktif yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan belajar mahasiswa dan menyajikan informasi pembelajaran yang aktual dan sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai kebutuhan mahasiswa akan pengembangan media interaktif yang dapat mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 71 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya yang mengikuti mata kuliah Teori Ekonomi Mikro di semester ganjil tahun 2023. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa penggunaan media interaktif dalam perkuliah masih belum banyak dilakukan, sehingga mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang bersifat abstrak dalam pembelajaran. Mahasiswa membutuhkan media interaktif yang memiliki kemudahan dalam akses dan penggunaannya salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan liveworksheets. Selanjutnya, media yang dibutuhkan harus mampu menumbuhkan kemampuan dalam membangun pengetahuannya melalui aktivitas pembelajaran berbasis kasus (case based learning) yang memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran kontekstual. Dengan demikian, studi pendahuluan ini dapat dijadikan pijakan bagi peneliti dalam mengembangkan media interaktif liveworksheets dengan pendekatan case based learning untuk mendukung aktivitas pembelajaran

    This study aims to find out the implementation of problem-based learning methods to improve learning activities in social studies subjects in class V SD Negeri 101740 Simangambat Kec. Simangambat Kab. Paluta. The research approach used in this study uses qualitative methods, this research was conducted at SD Negeri 101740 Simangambat precisely in class V which is located in Kec. Simangambat, Kab. Padang Lawas Utara, in this study the data was collected by observation, interview and documentation methods. Data sources in this study were taken from teachers and students, The data analysis technique used in this study is the Miles & Huberman method, which consists of data collection, data reduction and data presentation. The results of this study are the learning process of social studies subjects in class V at SD Negeri 101740 Simangambat using methods that are quite varied by collaborating the lecture method with problem-based learning methods, the application of problem-based learning methods (PBM) in social studies subjects at SD Negeri 101740 Simangambat can be concluded that the application of these methods runs effectively and the challenges faced by teachers when applying problem-based learning methods in social studies subjects at SD Negeri 101740 Simangambat the main obstacle lies in the complex process of group division and group presentations which result in a lot of time consuming

    IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS DI INDONESIA: SEBUAH SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

    The Merdeka Curriculum brings a paradigm of perspective in learning in education. Learning is directed towards the potential and characteristics of the learner. This approach in the curriculum is a form of preparation for the nation's successors to be able to face the real facts in the field. This study aims to examine and analyze social studies learning in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia. The method used in this writing is a literature study with a systematic review. Systematic review is used to determine the condition of various research related to social studies learning in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia. A total of 31 data taken from the Google Scholar database which has been refined with 4 stages (Identification, Screening, Eligibility, and Included). The results of this writing can be written in several points in planning social studies learning in the independent curriculum, teachers prepare relevant modules and designs to guide students to think critically and contextually, in implementation using relevant models and strategies, in assessment used at the beginning and during the learning process to achieve the goals or competencies of learning, the character of students appears through integration into planning, culture and habits and even teachers as role models, the use of relevant teaching materials and materials to develop social problem solving skills and the use of media in improving quality and increasing active and participatory abilities, in its implementation is constrained by teacher readiness, human resources, and technology use
