The Effect of the Different Types Plants on the Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) on the Growth Performnace of Carp Seed (Cyprinus carpio)
Intensification of culture through stocking densities and high feeding rates can cause water quality problems. Utilization of the recirculation system in intensive cultivation is important to maintain water quality. This study aims to determine the best type of aquatic plants in RAS for the growth of carp fish seeds. The research in January - February 2021. The test fish used were carp fish with a length of 6 - 7 cm and a weight of 3 - 5 gr. The feed used is commercial feed with a protein content of 31 - 33%. Feeding was carried out at 08.00 A.M and 04.00 P.M with 3% fish biomass. This study used an experimental method with CRD with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A (Control, without plants), treatment B (cotton fiber, bio balls, activated charcoal and kale), treatment C (cotton fiber, bio balls, activated charcoal and watercress plants) and treatment D (cotton fiber, bio balls, activated charcoal and pakchoy plants). The results showed that the use of different aquatic plants had a significant effect (P <0,05) on SR, SGR, length growth and absolute weight, plant height, and a number of leaves, but no significant effect (P> 0,05) on FCR. The best treatment in this study was B with an SR value of 82,22 ± 7,70%, SGR 4,08 ± 0,14%, absolute length 4,97 ± 0,27 cm, absolute weight 15,81 ± 1,96 gr, plant height 60,67 ± 18,01 cm, number of leaves 20,42 ± 9,66 leaves and FCR 1,10 ± 0,089
ANALISIS FINANSIAL USAHA KAPAL PURSE SEINE (STUDI KASUS: KM DAYA CIPTA) DI PELABUHAN PERIKANAN NUSANTARA SIBOLGA, SUMATERA UTARA
Perikanan pukat cincin merupakan alat tangkap yang banyak digunakan diperairan Sibolga. Keberlanjutan usaha penangkapan ikan harus diuji dengan analisa kelayakan usaha agar usaha mendapatkan keuntungan dan berjalan untuk jangka panjang. Penelitian dilakukan pada Bulan Juli hingga Agustus 2020 dengan studi pada KM Daya Cipta bertempat di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Sibolga. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Modal usaha purse seine terbagi 2 yaitu modal awal dan modal operasional. modal awal usaha purse seine senilai Rp.2.941.000.000 untuk kapal berukuran 77 GT dan modal operasional senilai Rp.60.000.000 untuk 12 hari pertrip layar. Hasil tangkapan utama purse seine adalah Tuna, Cakalang, dan Tongkol, sedangkan ikan tangkapan sampingan yang tertangkap beragam jenis seperti ikan Serai, Selar, Jabung, Pari, Salam dan Barakuda. Total biaya tetap yang dikeluarkan pada usaha kapal purse seine sebesar Rp. 488.400.000/ Tahun. Penerimaan hasil tangkapan KM Daya Cipta dalam sekali trip operasional adalah sebesar Rp. 151.471.000. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keuntungan operasional usaha purse seine pada KM Daya Cipta sebesar Rp. 76.348.200. bahwa nilai NVP KM Daya Cipta dalam satu tahun adalah Rp. 333.291.064 dan dengan nilai Net B/C 1,138. Hasil perhitungan analisis investasi dengan nilai Net B/C ratio > 1, dapat disimpulkan bahwa investasi layak dilaksanakan
RUMUSAN STRATEGI UNTUK PENINGKATAN KINERJA OPERASIONAL PELABUHAN PERIKANAN NUSANTARA TUAL
Nilai Kinerja operasional Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Tual (PPN Tual) berdasarkan hasil perhitungan adalah 21,61% dan dapat dikatakan bahwa kinerja operasional PPN Tual adalah buruk (Ngamel et al. 2013). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan rumusan strategi peningkatan kinerja operasional PPN Tual. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode studi kasus terhadap kinerja operasional PPN Tual yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) atau Proses Hierarki Analitik (PHA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nilai strategi peningkatan kinerja operasional PPN Tual yang didapat berdasarkan prioritasnya berturut-turut adalah 1) Peningkatan dan perbaikan fasilitas PPN Tual dengan Nilai Prioritas (NP) 0,41. 2) Peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas sumberdaya manusia dengan NP 0,24. 3) Peningkatan pelayanan perbekalan melaut dengan NP 0,18. 4) Peningkatan pengelolaan pengoperasian PPN Tual dengan NP 0,16
Analysis of The Level of Fish Resources Utilization in The Tegal Regency Beach Waters, Central Java
This study aims to determine the relationship between the catch of each effort unit (CPUE) and the effort to catch fish resources in the coastal waters of Tegal Regency, based on the data series for the last ten years (2011-2020) with survey and interview research methods. The results showed that the existing conditions of fishing effort during the previous ten years had decreased by an average of 1.66 %. The production of fish caught and CPUE landed in Larangan Coastal Fishing Port, Tegal Regency, shows an average increasing trend of 10.91 % and 11.98 %, respectively. The calculation of the relationship between CPUE and effort provides information for MSY of 1,002.24 tons/year, TAC of 801.79 tons/year, with a utilization rate of 120.08 %. Based on the calculation data, it indicates that the average exploitation of fish resources in the coastal waters of Tegal Regency is 962.80 tons/year, which is still below the MSY (1,002.24 tons/year) but has already exceeded the TAC (801.79 tons/year) utilization rate of 120.08 %
KEBIASAAN MAKANAN IKAN DI SITU GONGGONG, KABUPATEN PANDEGLANG, BANTEN
Gonggong Lake is one of the lentic waters, located at Cipicung village Cikedal District Pandeglang Banten. Gonggong Lake is used as a source of water for irrigation rice fields, O. tilapia culture, tofu production, oncom, social activity, and fishing. This causes made the availability of natural food and resulted in the change balance of ecosystems in the waters. Natural fish foods are the main factor needed in the process of growth, reproduction, and survival of fish. Fish food habits in nature are important to be studied as an effort to manage fishery resources. The study aimed to determine to identify fish food habits in Gonggong Lake. The study was conducted from July to August 2017 at 4 stations, i.e. 1) inlet I; 2) inlet II; 3) center of the lake, and 4) outlet. Fish and food habits identification was conducted at the laboratory of aquaculture, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. The results of this study in Gonggong Lake, there are 5 species of fish caught namely Oreochromis niloticus, Barbonymus gonionotus, Trichogaster trichopterus, Channa striata, and Glossogobius giuris. Food habits in Gonggong Lake are dominated by herbivorous fish with main food of phytoplankton and plant parts. Natural foods are dominated by phytoplankton consist of the Chlorophyta, Chrysophyta, Cyanophyta, Cryptophyta, and Euglenophyta groups
Study on Technical Differences in Sea Boundary Determination Based on Permendagri No. 1/2006, Permendagri No. 76/2012 and Permendagri No. 141/2017
The sea boundary is an authority in managing marine environmental resources that aim to limit each local government's management. The Indonesian government has made various regulations in regulating regional boundaries, including maritime boundaries. This study aims to determine the differences in the determination of sea boundaries that have been regulated in the Permendagri, including Permendagri No. 1 of 2006, Permendagri No. 76 of 2012, and Permendagri No. 141 of 2017. This research is limited to the study of literature articles that regulate the determination of the boundaries of marine areas. Permendagri No.1 of 2006 and Permendagri No. 76 of 2012 explained that the authority over the management of marine resources is managed by the regions. While in Permendagri No. 141 of 2017 explained that the management of marine resources is regulated by law. The study results found that three critical points of change are listed in the Permendagri, including the use of base points, the use of cartometric methods, and the authority of sea management by districts/cities. From this research, it can be concluded that the Regency/City no longer has the authority to manage marine resources. However, the affirmation of the 4-mile sea boundary for the Regency/City is still needed to calculate the profit-sharing for the management of marine resources. Determination of the base point in the affirmation of boundaries no longer uses the lowest low tide but uses the highest tide as stated in Permendagri No. 141 of 2017. The affirmation of maritime boundaries using the cartometric method has begun to be applied to Permendagri No. 76 of 2012 and continued in Permendagri No. 141 of 2017
Analisis Perubahan Garis Pantai di Wilayah Perairan Pantai Kijing Kabupaten Bengkayang Kalimantan Barat
Pantai Kijing merupakan kawasan pantai terletak di Kabupaten Mempawah yang dimanfaatkan sebagai kawasan pembangunan dari berbagai sektor salah satunya adalah pembangunan pelabuhan internasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perubahan garis pantai di wilayah kawasan perairan pantai Kijing Kabupaten Mempawah, Kalimantan Barat. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data pasang surut dari Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG), data angin dari European Centre for Medium Range Forecast (ECMWF) dan data Citra Satelit Landsat- 7 ETM tahun 2010 dan Landsat-8 OLI tahun 2020. Analisis perubahan garis pantai menggunakan kombinasi antara metode Single Transect (ST) dan End Point Rate (EPR) yang terdapat di dalam perangkat lunak DSAS. Secara keseluruan hasil dari perubahan garis pantai yang terjadi dari tahun 2010 sampai tahun 2020 lebih dominan mengalami proses akresi jika dibandingkann dengan abrasi. Jarak pergeseran garis pantai ke arah darat (abrasi) berkisar 1,26 - 162,93 m dan jarak pergeseran garis pantai ke arah laut (akresi) berkisar 0,5 - 21,34 m sepanjang 8 km garis pantai. Hasil ini perubahan garis pantai yang terjadi diduga disebabkan karena pengaruh faktor hidro-oseanografi diantaranya adalah pasang surut, arus laut dan tinggi gelomban
