Silvofishery based mangrove ecosystem based resource management has been alreadywidely known and practiced, both at home and abroad. However, until now it’s difficultto find silvofishery application with correct and proper principles, in terms of bioengineering, ecological and institutional. The researched was conducted on March2012. The aims of this study were (1) assess the ecological status, (2) assess fishaquaculture bioengineering, (3) economic and financial analysis for the silvofisheryapplication, and (4) determine the pattern of silvofishery management in RPH TegalTangkil.Collected data were related to ecological, economic, social and institutionalaspect, which related to silvofishery management in RPH Tegal-Tangkil. The researchshowed that, mangroves contribute significantly to the daily shrimp by product. Waterquality conditions currently were still suitable for fish aquaculture activities. Althoughthere were discovered heavy metals content in this area, there for it is necessary toimprove water quality by develop reservoir system. In terms of bioengineering, fishermanwere still culture fish by traditionally technique and not done with correct and properprinciples. Economically silvofishery system was still able to develop for increasefishermans incomes. If silvofisheries were applied properly, it can increase fishermanincome up to 509.60%. However, silvofishery management was still deficient; It is seenfrom the difference between the ideal and reality. Institutional improvement minawanamanagement system at least focus on the improvement of the organization and rules ofthe game

Fry availability is an important factor in the cultivation of Sangkuriang catfish. Continuity of fry availability is determined by the number of hatching eggs. The low of hatching rate mainly caused by the Saprolegnia sp. attack. One attempt to overcome the Saprolegnia sp. attack on fish eggs is by using Kecombrang flowers (Nicolia speciosa Horan). Anti-fungal compounds contained in Kecombrang flower was phenol, tannin, alkaloids, and flavonoids. The aim of this research is to find the immersion duration of Sangkuriang catfish eggs in the extract of Kecombrang flower most effectively to prevent the attack of Saprolegnia sp. and increase the egg hatching rate. The method in this study was Completely Randomized Design (RAL) experimental method with five treatments and three replications. The treatments was time of immerse the eggs of Sangkuriang catfish in Kecombrang flower extract at 60 ppm for 10, 15, 20, 25 minutes and without immersion as control. The investigate parameters in this study were Saprolegnia attack rate and hatching rate. Results of the experimental analyzed by F test, and if it was a significance difference then continue with Duncan Multiple Range Test at the 5% level. The results showed that the 20 minutes of immersion duration resulted in the lowest Saprolegnia attack rate about 13.50% and the highest egg hatching rate about 72.50%

The coastal waters of Lontar Village is located in Tirtayasa District, Banten. The coastal waters of Lontar Village is also used for fishing activities that become the livelihood of the surrounding community. Communities around the coast of Lontar village dispose of household waste directly into the waters so that the waters become dirty. The existence of these activities can cause the condition of the waters to decrease even can lead to contamination. Decrease in water conditions will affect the living biota inside. Waters quality can be determined by measuring physical, chemical, biological and heavy metal parameters. Physical parameters include brightness, turbidity, and temperature. Chemical parameters are salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, nitrate, phosphate, BOD, TSS. The biological parameter is total coliform. The parameters of heavy metals are lead and copper. The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of coastal waters of Lontar Village based on physical, chemical, biological and heavy metal parameters. The results showed that most of the parameters of water quality (physics, chemistry, biology and heavy metals) are still in accordance with the value of water quality standards (Decree of the Minister of Environment No. 51 of 2004) only the value of lead metals exceeding the standard quality. It must be overcome so as not to disrupt the life of biota in the waters. Management that can be done is utilize aquatic biota that can absorb heavy metal content  such as green shell (shell should not be consumed), reducing oil spilled from the activityof motor boats (giving box shelter under motor boat engines so that oil does not directly spill into the waters)
