Metode Pembelajaran dengan Media Lagu untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Firman Tuhan
The purpose of this paper is to apply learning methods with song media to increase interest in learning God’s word. The method used is qualitative, namely observation, interviews with research subjects. The conclusion of this study is 1) the method of song in learning for children aged 6-8 years should be made simple with a choice of interval notes 1-5 and using an agile rhythm so that children are easier and interested in learning it; 2) children’s learning interest to learn the Word of God, children need to have an interest in learning so that children can have an urge in themselves to learn God’s Word; 3) study of learning methods with songs on the interest in learning the Word of God can enhance children’s attention to learning, make children feel happy when learning, and the involvement of children is also quite active in learning
Analisis Biblika Terhadap Konsep ‘ϵv Χριστω’ (Dalam Kristus) Berdasarkan Surat Efesus 1
Surat Efesus ditulis oleh rasul Paulus. Surat ini ditujukan kepada orang-orang kudus yang percaya kepada Kristus Yesus di Efesus. Secara umum dapat dikatakan bahwa penulis surat ini memberikan penekanan penting tentang karya Allah dalam Kristus Yesus bagi manusia berdosa dan gaya hidup orang percaya yang ada di dalam Kristus. Ungkapan ‘εν Xριστος’ (dalam Kristus) yang digunakan berulang kali oleh penulis dalam Efesus 1 bertujuan untuk merangkum semua hal yang ia bahas dalam suratnya ini dengan maksud menunjukkan posisi sentral Kristus dalam melaksanakan rencana kekal Allah bagi manusia. Oleh penulis surat Efesus, ungkapan ‘εν Xριστος’ (dalam Kristus) dihubungkan dengan berbagai hal seperti, pemilihan Allah, penebusan yang dikerjakan Kristus, serta penyatuan segala ciptaan. Berdasarkan uraian di atas maka sangatlah penting untuk mengadakan penyelidikan mendalam tentang ungkapan ‘εν Xριστος’ (dalam Kristus) tersebut agar diperoleh pemahaman yang utuh tentang berbagai kebenaran yang terkandung di dalamnya.The apostle Paul wrote the Ephesians letter. This letter is addressed to the saints who believe in Christ Jesus at Ephesus. In general, it can be said that the writer of this letter gives an essential emphasis on the work of God in Christ Jesus for sinful humans and the lifestyle of believers who are in Christ. The phrase εν Xριστος (in Christ) which is used repeatedly by the writer in Ephesians 1 aims to summarize all the things he discussed in this letter to show Christ's central position in carrying out God’s eternal plan for humans. By the writer of the letter Ephesians, the phrase “in Christ” is related to various things such as God's election, Christ’s redemption, and the union of all creation. Based on the description above, it is essential to conduct an in-depth investigation of the phrase “in Christ” to obtain a complete understanding of the various truths contained therein
ἌΦΕΣΙΣ In The New Testament And Its Suggested Links To The Biblical Jubilee
This study responds to the claims that the term ἄφεσις (usually translated “forgiveness”) should be understood in light of the biblical Jubilee. The study commences with a brief survey of the word’s use in the Septuagint and Classical Greek literature, alongwith the related verb ἀφίημι. It then examines each use of ἄφεσις in the New Testament. Texts in Matthew, Mark, Luke-Acts, Paul’s writings and Hebrews are examined, with a particular focus on Lucan texts (since these contain the majority of the occurrences of the word). The study concludes that the verb ἀφίημι was never explicitly connected to the Jubilee in the Septuagint, so there is no reason to view the word in this light in the New Testament. The study also concludes that even though the term ἄφεσις had Jubilee connotations at the time the Septuagint was written, there was significant semantic development such that by the time of the New Testament, the word had a distinct and unambiguous meaning, centred on the forgiveness of sins and unrelated to the Jubilee
Pengaruh Pelayanan Pemuda Berbasis Kontekstual Terhadap Pertumbuhan Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia di Kota Samarinda
The problem with churches today is the reduced interest of young people in the church activities. The church needs to evaluate the youth ministry that have been doing, so the church be able to see the effectiveness of each activity they did to reach young people. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of youth-based contextual services to the growth of Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia in Samarinda City. To achieve this, the author uses the method of multiple linear analysis to see the effect of contextual youth services on church growth. After conducting research, it was found that there was a significant influence between contextual youth services on the growth of the quantity of the Gereja Kemah Injil Indonesia in Samarinda City. Contextual based youth ministry is an answer that needs to be considered so the church can provide services that are relevant to the lives of modern young people who live in their particular culture. On other side, contextual based youth ministry to help church services be effective for reaching the millennial generation
Peran Proses Mentoring Pemimpin Kaum Muda Bagi Perkembangan Pelayanan Pemuda Di Gereja
Masalah saat ini yang banyak dialami oleh gereja-gereja adalah kurangnya pemimpin-pemimpin yang memiliki kemampuan yang cukup untuk mengembangkan pelayanan di gereja. Gereja yang seharusnya menghasilkan pemimpin yang memiliki iman yang benar, ilmu yang memadai, dan pengabdian yang sungguh-sungguh, malah mengalami krisis kepemimpinan. Absennya kepemimpinan yang efektif akan mengakibatkan gereja kekurangan pemimpin berkualitas di masa yang akan datang. Untuk itu gereja harus memulai memikirkan bagaimana menghasilkan pemimpin-pemimpin gereja untuk masa yang akan datang. Gereja harus memulai dengan mempersiapkan pemimpin-pemimpin muda yang dapat diandalkan, mulai dari sekarang. Cara yang terbaik dan sesuai dengan firman Tuhan untuk dapat menghasilkan pemimpin adalah dengan cara pemuridan atau yang sekarang sering disebut dengan mentoring. Namun sayangnya masih banyak pemimpin-pemimpin, khususnya pemimpin kaum muda yang kurang memahami tentang mentoring. Mentoring merupakan proses pembentukan pemimpin agar nantinya pemimpin-pemimpin yang dihasilkan merupakan pemimpin yang berkualitas. Pemimpin kaum muda harus memahami bahwa mentoring harus dikerjakan dengan cara memberi teladan kepada setiap anggotanya. Kemudian pemimpin kaum muda harus melatih dan membimbing anggotanya agar dapat memahami tentang kepemimpinan. Tahap selanjutnya adalah mengutus mereka sebagai pemimpin yang baru agar mereka dapat bermultiplikasi. Dampak dari perkembangan pelayanan ini akan menghasilkan jiwa-jiwa dan semuanya itu untuk kemuliaan Tuhan.The current problem that many churches face today is the lack of leaders who have sufficient ability to develop ministry in the church. The church that should produce leaders who have true faith, adequate knowledge and genuine devotion, even experience a leadership crisis. The absence of effective leadership will result in the Church's lack of even future leader runs out. For that, the Church must begin to think about how to produce church leaders for the future. The church must begin by preparing reliable young leaders, from now on. The best way and according to the Word of God to be able to produce leaders is by discipleship or what is now called mentoring. But unfortunately, there are still many leaders, especially young leaders who lack understanding about mentoring. Mentoring is the process of forming leaders so that leaders will be produced the qualified leader. Young leaders must understand that mentoring must be done by example of each member. Then the youth leader must train and guide its members to understand leadership. The next stage is to send them as new leaders so they can multiply. A church with good youth leadership will have an impact on the development of youth ministry in the church. The impact of the development of this ministry will produce souls and all of them for the glory of God
Pendekatan Penginjilan Kontekstual Kepada Masyarakat Baliem Papua
Studi ini memperlihatkan adanya nilai-nilai budaya dan konsep worldview masyarakat Baliem yang “relatif dekat”, yaitu kepercayaan kepada Walhowak atau Nyopase Kain atau Elalin Walhasikhe, konsep cargo cults berupa pengharapan situasi ideal masa depan dalam mitos Nabelan–Kabelan atau Nawulal-Hawulal atau Nabudlal-Habudlal atau Nabutal–Habutal atau Nanggonok-Kanggonok serta pengharapan oknum ideal masa depan dalam mitos Naruekul, serta sikap loyalitas kepada Ap Kain sebagai “kepala suku” akhuni Palim meke, sehingga dapat “dipertemukan” dengan nilai-nilai Injil melalui penggantian fungsi. Dengan demikian maka sangatlah memungkinkan untuk menentukan konsep pendekatan penginjilan kontekstual kepada mereka.This study demonstrates the existence of cultural values and the concept of the worldview of the “relatively close” Baliem society, which is the belief in Walhowak or Nyopase Kain or Elalin Walhasikhe, the concept of cargo cults in the hope of the ideal situation of the future in the myths of Nabelan-Kabelan, Nawulal-Hawulal, Nabudlal-Habudlal, Nabutal-Habutal or Nanggonok-Kanggonok, as well as the hope of the future ideal person in the myth of Naruekul, as well as the attitude of loyalty to Ap Kain as the “head of the tribe” akhuni Palim meke, so as to be "reunited" with the values of the gospel through functional replacement. This article compares the leadership model of Jesus with those of the formal prominent leaders in his time. Rooted in a deep spiritual relationship with his Father, and moved by a compassionate heart, Jesus’ leadership challenges today’s church leadership practices in Indonesia which is marked by either institutional centralization, absolute local autonomy, or traditionalism. Berakar pada hubungan spiritual yang mendalam dengan Bapanya, dan digerakkan oleh hati yang berbelaskasihan, kepemimpinan Yesus menantang praktik-praktik kepemimpinan gereja di Indonesia masa kini yang ditandai oleh sentralisasi institusional, otonomi lokal yang absolut, atau tradisionalism
Pengutamaan Dimensi Karakter Dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen
Indonesia sedang menjalani suatu gerakan nasional “pembangunan karakter” untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah yang menghambat kesejahteraan masyarakatnya. Semua komponen bangsa dan masyarakat diharapkan memberi kontribusinya. Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) sebagai salah satu tugas gereja yang strategis dapat memberi kontribusinya yang penting bilamana dalam semua program PAK bagi semua kategori usia dan berbagai konteks (keluarga, gereja dan sekolah) dapat mengutamakan dimensi karakter. Penulis membangun argumentasi betapa dekatnya pendidikan karakter dengan PAK, bahkan merupakan bagian integral sebagaimana karakter Kristiani adalah bagian integral dari iman Kristiani. Untuk itu penulis memperjelas konsep-konsep terkait seperti prinsip, nilai, kebajikan, makna hidup, serta karakter dalam upaya membangun argumentasi di atas. Secara spesifik juga konten dari karakter Kristiani dicarikan contoh-contoh Alkitabiahnya.Indonesia is undergoing a national movement of character building to overcome various problems which hinder the welfare of its society. Every component of the nation and society is expected to give its contribution. Christian Education as one of the strategic tasks or missions of the churches is able to give its significant contribution when its educational programs endeavor to pay more attention to character dimension in its curriculum design for every age category and in all educational contexts. I also argue that character education is closely related to Christian Education even an integral part of it, as Christian character is an integral part of Christian faith. For that purpose I try to clarify some essential concepts such as principles, values, virtues, meaning of life, and Christian character as found in the Bible in order to build on the above argument. Finally, the specific content from the Christian characteristics are found in Biblical examples
Belajar Sebagai Identitas Dan Tugas Gereja
Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan pentingnya belajar dalam kaitannya dengan tugas pembinaan jemaat dan memaknainya sebagai tugas yang mendesak. Memakai metode deskriptif-analitis, penulis memaparkan konsep belajar dalam melalui pendekatan studi Alkitab dengan ilmu-ilmu psikologi sebagai pendukung. Hasil studi ini di dapatkan informasi bahwa 1) Pendidikan Kristen Berbeda dengan pendidikan sekuler yang bercorak humanistik dan naturalistic. 2) Pendidikan Kristen berkonsentrasi pada tugas memahami dan menghayati serta mengkomunikasikan penyataan Allah (God’s revelation) di dalam Alkitab dan di dalam Yesus Kristus. 3) dari studi Alkitab dikemukakan bahwa belajar adalah bagian dari hakikat manusia dan tuntutan dasariah dari Allah untuk mengenal Dia sebagai Tuhan Pencipta dan Penebus umat manusia. 4) Guna membimbing gereja berkembang dalam kehidupan yang dinamis secara spritual, kehadiran gereja yang bersedia belajar sangat diperlukan. Warga jemaat perlu disadarkan bahwa untuk memelihara kadar spiritualitas yang tetap segar, orang percaya senantiasa memerlukan pembelajaran yang jujur, sehat dan benar.This paper aims to describe the importance of learning in relation to the discipling duties of the church and interpret it as an urgent task. Using a descriptive-analytic method, the author explains concepts learned through a Bible study approach and includes discussion on psychology as a supplement. The results of this study in gathering information are that 1) Christian Education is unlike secular education that is inclined toward humanistic and naturalistic thinking. 2) Christian Education is concentrated on the task of understanding and appreciating along with communicating the revelation of God (God's revelation) in the Bible and in Jesus Christ. 3) From studying the Bible it can be argued that learning is part of human nature and the basic demands of God to know Him as God the Creator and Redeemer of mankind. 4) In order to guide the church in developing spiritually dynamic lives, the presence of churches who are willing to learn is very much needed. The congregation needs to be made aware that to maintain levels of spirituality that will remain fresh and new, believers will continuously need learning that is honest, wholesome and true
Respons Tests of Leadership Menurut Teori Frank Damazio Pada Mahasiswa Pascasarjana Jurusan Kepemimpinan Kristen STT Harvest Semarang
Seorang pemimpin tidak dilahirkan tetapi dibentuk. Tuhan menggunakan sejumlah ujian untuk pembentukan para pemimpin. Tujuannya, selain membekali, ujian dapat memurnikan panggilan, melatih keterampilan dan membuat para pemimpin bergantung pada Tuhan. Dengan demikian, kepemimpinan tersebut dijalankan tidak dengan caranya sendiri tetapi dengan cara dan agenda Tuhan. Sejumlah ujian itu adalah Ujian Waktu, Ujian Firman, Ujian Karakter, Ujian Motivasi, Ujian Kehambaan, Ujian Padang Gurun, Ujian Kesalahpahaman, Ujian Kesabaran, Ujian Kehendak Pribadi, Ujian Integritas, dan Ujian Pemberontakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur sejauh mana tanggapan pemimpin dalam menghadapi ujian kepemimpinan. Populasinya adalah para pemimpin gereja yang menjadi mahasiswa pascasarjana (S2) Kepemimpinan Kristen di STT Harvest Semarang. Analisis menggunakan nilai μ dari Confidence Interval menggunakan model eksogenous-endogenous variabel. Hasilnya, level respons pemimpin terhadap ujian kepemimpinan berada di dalam kategori sedang dan ujian padang gurun adalah faktor dominan yang memengaruhi kepemimpinan responden.A leader is not born but formed. God uses tests for the formation of leaders. The goal, in addition to equipping, analyses can refine purity, train skills and make leaders dependent on God. That leadership is exercised not in its way but in God's way and His agenda. Some of the tests are Time Tests, Word Test, Character Test, Motivation Test, Servant Test, Wilderness Test, Misunderstanding Test, Patience Test, Self-Will Test, Integrity Test, and Rebellion Test. This study aims to measure how leaders respond in the face of Leadership Tests. The population is church leaders, who are students of Christian Leadership Postgraduate (S2) in Christian Leadership Program at STT Harvest Semarang. The analysis uses μ values of Confidence Interval using an exogenous-endogenous variable model. As a result, the level of leader's response to the leadership tests is in the medium category, and the wilderness test is the dominant factor affecting their leadership
