Molecular analysis of small?ruminant lentiviruses in Polish flocksreveals the existence of a novel subtype in sheep
AbstractSmall-ruminant lentivirus (SRLV) infections are widespread in Poland, and circulation of subtypes A1, A12, A13, A16,A17, B1 and B2 has been documented. The aim of this study was to characterize the SRLV strains circulating in sheep andgoats in mixed flocks in the Malopolska region, where the highest seroprevalence has been detected. Phylogenetic analysisrevealed that most of the isolates from sheep belonged to subtype A13, suggesting that this subtype may be predominant inthe Malopolska region. Furthermore, the existence of a new subtype, tentatively designated as A18, was described for thefirst time. This work extends the current knowledge on the distribution of SRLV subtypes in sheep and goats in Poland andprovides further information on the genetic diversity of SRLV. The new data are important for both epidemiological studiesand eradication programs and provide insight into the evolution of SRLV
Entrepreneurial ecosystem, entrepreneurial rate and innovation: the moderating role of internet attention
Abstract The purpose of this study is to improve our understanding of the entrepreneurialecosystem.Unlikemanypreviousstudies, weaccomplishthisaimbytestingthe roles of entrepreneurial contexts in stimulating entrepreneurial performance, which is captured by entrepreneurial rate and entrepreneurial innovation. We further investigate their interacting with entrepreneurial attention (EA), measured by Internet search data. This is a national longitudinal study of all OECD countries between 2005 and 2014 based on multisource data. Based on the seemingly unrelated regression (SUR) results, the main findings are: (1) R&D transfer and market dynamics are important but negative predictors of both entrepreneurial activities; (2) entrepreneurial finance and taxes or regulations policies have significant positive effects on entrepreneurial innovation only when the entrepreneurship attention is high; (3) also only under the high entrepreneurship attention condition, physical infrastructure and cultural and social norms for entrepreneurship have significant positive effects on total entrepreneurial rate. The findings of this study, besides having important implications for entrepreneurial management and policy, have implications on the research of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, entrepreneurial innovation and attention. Keywords Entrepreneurialecosystem.Entrepreneurship.Innovation. Journalism and Business Legitimacy
This chapter focuses on the role of the news media in the creation, maintenance,or disruption of business legitimacy. The chapter first introduces the concept oflegitimacy in organization theory and describes the evolution of new institutionalistapproaches to legitimacy. Drawing on research on agenda setting and mediatization, thechapter argues that the news media should be viewed as an independent politicalinstitution, embodying particular values and beliefs and playing an active role inthe preservation or challenging of organizational legitimac

On System Arrangement of Governmental Social Media in Emergency Communication and Its Optimization
After developing for more than 10 years, the function of governmental socialmedia in emergency management has become increasingly more important withgreatly increased scale effects, constellation effects, and rich media. This chapter presents a survey on the institutional management of governmental social mediain emergencies, which is characterized by progressivity, conductivity,co-movement, and path dependence. With this in mind, we propose to establisha national system of governmental social media, implement a collaborativeinnovation strategy of information dissemination in crises, and institute a professionalizationtransformation assisted by third parties to achieve maximum efficiencyin governmental social media for emergency management
