    The essence of portfolio formation is to reduce risk by means of diversification, namely allocating a number of funds to various investment alternatives that are negatively correlated. To select returns in a portfolio, you can use the Single Index Model and the Markowitz Model. This study was conducted with the aim of comparing the calculation of which company portfolios can provide a good rate of return with a small risk using the Single Index and Markowitz Model based on the sector of the company. So that the results of this study can provide recommendations to investors in decision making on portfolio selection. The research was conducted on companies indexed by LQ 45 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research period is to use companies indexed by LQ 45 in 2018 for two periods

    This research aims to investigate the influence of prices, promotions and marketing events on the customers’ repurchasing decision of Flashy products. The survey was conducted to 221 customers of Flashy Women's Clothing Bandung which is a brand of women's clothing from the age of 15-45 years. The data used for this research was collected through questionnaires distributed to the students of Polytechnic Piksi Ganesha who have had shopping experience in Flashy. This study used a structural equation model (SEM) to evaluate the suitability of the theoretical model being analyzed related to empirical data, and to test the significance of the hypothesis. The results showed that the estimated coefficient of standardized regression in which price, promotion and event marketing have a significant influence on customer’s repurchase decisions

    The investors place great importance on the share price of publicly traded companies since it may reflect the company’s value. The research objective is to examine the relationship between financial performance and debt at share prices through dividend policy. The method of the research used is quantitative and correlational research. The data analysis technique is the use of smart PLS. The results of the study explain that financial performance has a positive effect on stock prices in the mediation of dividend policy. Debt negatively affects share price mediated by dividend policy. The implication of the study is that companies should consider the benefits as well as risks of borrowing funds from third parties. Investors and potential investors before investing their money in stocks must pay attention to financial performance, corporate debt and dividend policy so that they do not experience losses in their investment

    The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of profitability, capital structure, and investment decisions on firm value in the property, real estate and building construction sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period. The population in this study were 83 companies. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling and produced a sample of 30 companies. The data analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression, while the analysis tool used is SPSS 25. This research hypothesis states that profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value, capital structure has a positive and significant effect on firm value, investment decisions have a positive and significant effect. to company value

    Impact Of Service Marketing On Student Decisions

    This research aims to determine the impact of service marketing on student decision-making to decide on the choice of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Muhammadiyah University of Bangkulu. This study uses quantitative methods. In this study, the population was all students of the School of Economics and Business of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu University, a total of 1,606 people, and 161 respondents were selected as a sample. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling. Use questionnaires to collect data. Multiple linear regression is used as a way to analyze data. The conclusion of the research results proves that service marketing has had an impact on students' decision to choose the Faculty of Economics and Business of Muhammadiyah University. Product factors have a positive and significant effect on student decisions. This price factor in the form of SPP has a negative effect. Promotion factors have a positive and significant effect. Location factors are positive and significant. HR factors have a positive and significant effect. Meanwhile, process factors have no effect on student decision. The physical evidence factor has a positive and significant effect on student decisions to choose the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu

    Management of Muhammadiyah Middle Schools in Sidoarjo during The Covid-19 Pandemic

    The assessment method used in this research is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and FGD with ten informants, namely the Head of Muhammadiyah Middle School in Sidoarjo. The data analysis technique uses three steps in collecting research results, namely data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display), and drawing and testing conclusions or verification. The results of this study are as follows: The school anticipates students who do not have Learning From Home (BDR) support facilities, limited internet access and financial constraints by setting up tabs provided at school, these tabs can be used by students to do assignments. The strategies applied are very diverse, including: Allocating teacher supervision funds for other needs, providing motivation and stimulus so that teachers can deliver learning optimally, collaborating with filmmakers to make learning videos, holding MSG (Morning Spiritual Gathering) activities or referred to as Ngaji, Briefing, and Berinfaq, while also seeking donations for students to pay tuition fees. Implementation of short-term and long-term plans: looking for a learning format that can be maximized, trying to foster parental trust in the school, trying to build communication with students and parents through activities that support education, collaborating with parents so as to foster an understanding that shared responsibility, focus on learning that is important for students' self-development, and improve the technological capabilities of students and teachers to be able to innovate in each other's learning

    The success of the hospital in carrying out its functions is influenced by several factors, among which the most dominant is human resources. Human resources are one of the important factors to be able to provide quality and comprehensive services in health services and are the key determinants of the rate and quality of services. The method of calculating needs based on workload (WISN) is an indicator that shows the amount of workforce required for health facilities based on workload, so that the allocation / relocation of labor will be easier and more rational. This research is a descriptive observational research with qualitative data analysis with purposive sampling method, namely the sampling technique by determining certain criteria. The HR category that will be calculated is the pharmacist in the Pharmacy Installation of the Surabaya Haji Hospital and results in a calculation of the total need for pharmacists of 24 people, compared to the current number of pharmacists of 20 pharmacists, the addition of pharmacists is 4 people in the Home Pharmacy Installation Haji Hospital Surabaya. The current number of fulfilled personnel from the calculation results only fulfills 83% of the ideal amount generated by the WISN method. With the obstacles faced such as the large workload of clinical pharmacy services that are carried out every day. To anticipate this, it is necessary to fulfill the need for pharmacists

    Determinants Of Profitability Of 10 Big Banks In Indonesia With Eagles Analysis

    This study aims to identify the determinants of profitability of the 10 largest banks in Indonesia over 10 years (2010 to 2019). These 10 banks were selected because they are the beacon of health to the national banking sector and the economy. The EAGLES framework was applied to the analysis. A multiple regression equation was formulated using SPSS software to analyze the strength of correlation of nine independent financial indicators to the dependent variable, return of assets (ROA). These financial indicators are listed as Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Non-Performing Loan Growth (NPLG), Loan Growth (LG), Deposit Growth (DG), Staff Cost Growth (SCG), Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Net Interest Margin / Net Operating Cost (NIM-NOC).   The analysis found four independent financial indicators that are statistically significant as having a strong association with the ROA. The contribution of the finding is that the Indonesian banks can be guided to focus on these four indicators on their management dashboard to steer their profitable growth. Another contribution is that the central bank authorities can also be informed of these same indicators as a tool to manage the safety of the Indonesian banking sector.  &nbsp

    The Effect of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture on Organizational Commitment in Mediating Organizational Cynicism

    This study discusses and analyzes the effect of transformational leadership and organizational culture on organizational commitment mediated by organizational cynicism on employees at the Shirvano Consulting Yogyakarta company. The population and sample in this study are 31 respondents who are startup employees at Shirvano Consulting. This research uses quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The analytical test tool used in this study is SmartPLS v.3.0 with SEM analysis method. The results of data analysis in this study are: (1) Transformational leadership has a significant negative effect on organizational cynicism; (2) Organizational culture has no significant negative effect on organizational cynicism; (3) Organizational cynicism has a significant negative effect on organizational commitment; (4) Transformational leadership has no significant positive effect on organizational commitment; (5) Organizational culture has no significant positive effect on organizational commitment; (6) Transformational leadership has no significant positive effect on organizational commitment mediated by organizational cynicism; and (7) Organizational culture has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment mediated by organizational cynicism. Three hypotheses are accepted, while the other four hypotheses are rejected. The implication of the theory is to contribute to increase organizational commitment by considering aspects of transformational leadership and organizational culture by the mediating effect of organizational cynicism. The managerial implication is that companies or organizations can implement strategies and policies related to these four aspects

    Industri mebel merupakan sektor yang perkembangannya sangat kompetitif namuncenderung fluktuatif dalam permintaan. Penyerapan tenaga kerja yang tinggi pada industrimebel menuntut upaya efisiensi agar tenaga kerja tidak menjadi beban produksi, sehinggaperusahaan meenerapkan sistem kontrak pada karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini untukmenganalisis apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kinerja pada karyawan tetapdengan karyawan kontrak. Penelitian dilakukan di 2 perusahaan di Jawa Timur. Tekniksampling menggunakan Cluster random sampling, sehingga diperoleh 50 karyawan tetap dan50 karyawan kontrak sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan .data melaluikuisioner, studi pendahuluan, wawancara, observasi serta kajian publikasi ilmiah. Desainpenelitian ini Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif dua sampel. Analisis menggunakanIndependent Samples T Test dengan program SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian membuktikanbahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kinerja pada karyawan tetap dengankaryawan kontrak sebesar 1.820. Karyawan kontrak rata-rata memiliki kinerja lebih baik(mean 24,56) daripada karyawan tetap (mean 22,74)
