The Effect of Service Quality on Financing Decisions at BPD Kal-bar Syariah, Sintang Branch
Beberapa pertimbangan dari keputusan pengambilan pembiayaan pada bank dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya kualitas pelayanan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikaji dan dianalisis lebih jauh untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan Terhadap Keputusan Pengambilan Pembiayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan Terhadap Keputusan Pengambilan Pembiayaan Pada BPD Kalimantan Barat KCP Syariah Cabang Sintang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, berjenis deskriptif. Fokus penelitian ini ada pada keputusan pengambilan pembiayaan dengan rancangan penelitian korelasional yang mempelajari pengaruh antara Kualitas Layanan Pembiayaan (X) sebagai variabel bebas terhadap keputusan pengambilan pembiayaan (Y) sebagai variabel terikat. Populasi adalah nasabah yang mengajukan pembiayaan kepada BPD Kalimantan Barat KCP Syariah Cabang Sintang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 56 responden dimana semuanya adalah nasabah yang telah mengambil pembiayaan di BPD Kalimantan Barat KCP Syariah Cabang Sintang baik pegawai maupun non pegawai. Dalam teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Dalam penelitian ini angket yang di gunakan adalah angket tertutup dengan jawaban pertanyaan telah di sediakan oleh peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai koefisien py = 0,518 dengan thitung = 5,543 dan ttabel = 2,00665 atau thitung >ttabel , kemudian nilai signifikansi/probabilitas yang tertera dalam kolom sig. lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000. Kesimpulan bahwa Kualitas Layanan Pembiayaan berpengaruh positif siginifikan terhadap Keputusan Nasabah Mengambil Pembiayaan pada BPD Kalimantan Barat KCP Syariah Cabang Sintang
Awareness and Acceptance Of Genetic Modified Food (GMF) Among The Malaysian Consumers
The halal industry is growing vigorously to cater the Muslim consumers in Malaysia. The acceptance, awareness and perception towards the genetic modified food (GMF) is still insufficient to fulfil the Malaysian market and expectantly plays a major role in a long period. The purpose of this paper is to fill the knowledge gap to the study of GMF conducted in Malaysia. Qualitative data were collected via open-ended interview with four participants from various background namely Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) researcher, P3, P4 and P1 by using single case and different site. All interviews were audio recorded, transcribed and analysed. Almost all participants familiar with the term genetic modified organism (GMO) or genetic modified food (GMF) which are two different entities but similar in biotechnology scope. Almost all participants were familiar with the term of genetic modified food. Since most of the participants came out with the science and biotechnology background, they perceived the GMF product but some of them did not trust of these products for various reasons. The participants agreed on the need for more information from a trusted and credible source that can easily access by the consumers. This study provides an in-depth insight into consumer’ awareness, perception and evaluation concerning the halalan toyyiban status of genetic modified food in Malaysia. The novelty of these finding could provide information for the biotechnology food industry to expand its market and develop its profitability and reliability to promo sustainable food production and consumption in the population
Sharia Cooperative Institutional Development: The Block Chain Approach (Case Study in Bulak, Surabaya City)
A community-based institutional building of syariah cooperatives requires information and communication technology. This has led to a block chain approach that benefit from the industrial revolution 4.0. The institutional concept that was developed 60 years ago by JE. Eaton (1972) is very relevant in this context. In this study, we employ a qualitative method with descriptive research. Our findings shows that community response to knowledge and awareness for adopting syariah cooperative is satisfactorily good as indicated by the establishment of a syariah pra-cooperative named "Nurus Shobah" in 2019. The output performance is effective : the number of members increased up to 34%, while the quality of sirkah is 98%. Hampering factors are delayed adoption of block chain approach due to lack of exposition to members, underperforming of software, and administration is still manually carried out. A supportive factor exists in which functionally, the cooperative has been partnering with neighbouring university through a supervision program. We therefore conclude that the institutional building of syariah cooperative in Bulak, Surabaya has not been fully implemented. A block chain approach is to be soon adopted to support the cooperativ
Service Quality Management Dimensions and Its Effect on The Students’ Satisfaction: An Empirical study Amongst Secondary Schools in Pakistan
Because the cost of attracting the fresh customers is much advanced than cost of retaining current and old customers, possession on students’ satisfaction has become scorching debate in modern era. Service quality management plays its vital role for this concern. This current research paper aims to highlight the concepts of service quality management dimensions and its effect on students’ satisfaction. In this study, the dependent variable was students’ satisfaction that measured by the independent variable service quality. The secondary school students of public and private education institutions were the population of this study in Punjab Pakistan. Random sampling approach applied for the delimitation of the population. Sample was 727 students (public 345, private 382). Five point Likert scale used in questionnaire for the collection of data. This study adopted from Parasuraman’S SERVEQUAL dimensions model (1991). The test applied for analysis: Descriptive analysis, Factor analysis, independent sample t-test and Pearson Correlation. The findings of the study show that the quality of the public secondary schools was better as compare to private school. The correlation was resulted between .7 to .8, It shows that there was a significance effect of service quality management on students’ satisfaction. The paper provides the guidance for sort out the most effective factors about the customers’ satisfaction regarding service quality. This research study will prove as a stepping-stone for the development of the managerial strategies. It will also helpful for educational leaders, policy makers and head of the department for the development of quality education
Implementation of community-based tourism (CBT) in Coban Parang Tejo Malang
This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a SWOT analysis tool; namely Internal-external situation analysis which aims to determine the strengths and weaknesses as well as the factors that become opportunities and threats for the development of the Coban Parang Tejo tourism area in Malang, and the application and implementation of Community Based Tourism principles for the development of the Coban Parang Tejo tourism area.
The results of the study concluded that the concept of CBT has been applied in tourism management in Coban Parang Tejo (CPT) which was applied in the form of local community participation, the formation of a tourism village institution, environmentally friendly tourism management, the role of government, cooperation with investors and the creation of community business activities. From the SWOT analysis generated promotional strategies based on the strengths and weaknesses of tourism in CPT, 1) SO strategy by increasing the number of interesting vehicles adjusted to the local wisdom of the Perinci village community, so that it has its own distinct characteristics / uniqueness that is different from other tours; 2) ST Strategy by increasing the competitiveness of Coban Parang Tejo; 3) WO Strategy by increasing facilities / infrastructure and existing infrastructure; and 4) WT strategy by collaborating with investors and strengthening community communities. All of which are in the context of improving the welfare of the community
Pengaruh Kompensasi dan Kepemimpinan Transformasional Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dimediasi oleh Motivasi Kerja
This research aimed to examine and to analyze the effect of compensation and transformational leadership on job satisfaction, either directly or indirectly, mediated with job motivation variable in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Lamongan (thereafter called RSML). This study was an explanatory research; the analysis method employed was Partial Least Square (PLS). The population of research consisted of 364 employees of Muhammadiyah Hospital of Lamongan, while the sample consisted of 79 employees, taken using Slovin technique. The results showed that compensation and transformational leadership are fundamental instruments underlying Muhammadiyah Hospital of Lamongan in improving its employees’ job motivation and satisfaction
Intervensi Komitmen Organisasional Pada Pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB)(Studi Dalam Setting Organisasi Kemahasiswaan)
This research aims to analyze the role of organizational commitment in intervening the influence of job satisfaction toward organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), particularly in student organizational setting. Research subject is member of Himpunan Mahasiswa Manajemen (HIMAMA), a student organization in the Dapertment of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Sample was determined through purposive sampling, yielded 102 respondents. Data was collected using questionnaires, and then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software. The research findings confirm that organizational commitment acts as intervening variable on the influence of job satisfaction toward OCB
Partial Delegation of Regent's Authority on Effectiveness of District Performance in Sidoarjo Regency
Penelitian ini mengenai pendelegasian sebagian kewenangan Bupati yang dalam implementasinya berpengaruh pada efektivitas kinerja kecamatan di kabupaten Sidoarjo. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mendiskripsikan tentang efektifitas kinerja yang dilihat dari pelaksanaan kegiatan dan kapasitas sumberdaya manusia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pendelegasian sebagian kewenangan Bupati kepada Camat di Kabupaten Sidoarjo masih kurang optimal. Selain dari pelaksanaan pendelegasian yang masih bersifat adminitratif dan menggunakan pola penyeragaman dimasing masing kecamatan tanpa mempertimbangkan perbedaan potensi karakter kecamatan
The Effect of Hedonic Shopping Value, Utilitarian Value, and Store Atmosphere on Impulse Buying in Minnisou Lippo Plaza Kendari
The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of hedonic value, utilitarian value and store atmosphere on impulse buying. The population in this study were consumers in Kendari City who had shopped and visited Minnisou Lippo Plaza Kendari. The population in this study is infinite which means unlimited. The number of samples in this study amounted to 96 respondents (based on the Lemeshow formula). Data analysis method in this research uses multiple linear regression. The results showed that hedonic shopping value has a positive effect on impulse buying, utilitarian value does not have a positive effect on impulse buying, store atmosphere has a positive effect on impulse buying, and hedonic shopping value, utilitarian value and store atmosphere together positively influence positive impulse buying
The Effect Of Packaging Design Elements On Youth Purchase Intention Of Junk Food
This research provides new knowledge on the purchase intention towards junk foods. The main purpose of this research study is to examine the packaging design elements as a determinant factor to purchase junk food among youth consumer that might be one of the most essential variable in marketing field. One of the aims of this study is covering the shortcomings of previous studies that didn't observe main factors that influence the consumer purchase intention toward junk food. The various packaging elements (packaging colour, packaging graphic, packaging size, packaging material and packaging label) have been conceptualized into integrated frameworks to investigate the factors that influence consumer purchase intention toward junk food products amongst youth. Data were collected from sample size of 322 respondents mainly degree students from the faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism, and Faculty of Engineering in Universiti Teknologi MARA, Penang. This study is further validated through a survey method used of questionnaire distribution. The data were further process and analyse using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0. The findings revealed that only four elements which are packaging colour, packaging graphic, packaging size and packaging label are positively significant with consumer purchase intention toward junk food while the packaging material was not significant with the consumer purchase intention toward junk food
