Drone for a Cleaner Coast: Monitoring and Analysis of Marine Debris at Sindulang Beach
This research aims to evaluate the capabilities of the DJI Phantom 4 Pro unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in monitoring the accumulation points and analyzing the characteristics of marine debris stranded at Sindulang Beach. The research methodology employed a descriptive approach with a survey method, including data collection through observation, documentation, and direct field surveys. Aerial photos were obtained from the drone, along with ground photography using a GPS map camera and the drone itself. Data analysis was conducted using Agisoft Metashape Professional and ArcGIS 10.8 software to map the distribution of marine debris accumulation points. The drone monitoring results allowed us to describe the characteristics and variations in types of marine debris, with plastic waste dominating, followed by glass, rubber, and fabric debris. The DJI Phantom 4 Pro unmanned aerial vehicle produced high-resolution aerial photos, enabling the identification of the distribution of marine debris accumulation points at Sindulang Beach and the creation of distribution maps along the Sindulang coastal area. The mapping results provide valuable information about the distribution of debris on Sindulang Beach. Based on the monitoring results using the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or drone, it was found that approximately 80% of the intertidal area at Sindulang Beach was covered by debris, indicating a significant level of pollution.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan pesawat tanpa awak DJI Phantom 4 Pro dalam pemantauan titik kumpul sebaran marine debris serta menganalisis karakteristik marine debris yang terdampar di Pantai Sindulang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan metode survei lapangan, termasuk pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan survei langsung. Foto udara diperoleh dari drone dan pemotretan darat menggunakan kamera GPS Map serta drone. Data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak Agisoft Metashape Professional dan ArcGIS 10.8 untuk memetakan sebaran titik kumpul sampah laut. Hasil pemantauan dari drone memungkinkan kita untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik dan variasi jenis sampah laut, dengan dominasi sampah plastik diikuti oleh sampah kaca, karet, dan kain. Pesawat tanpa awak DJI Phantom 4 Pro menghasilkan foto udara dengan resolusi tinggi, yang memungkinkan identifikasi sebaran titik kumpul sampah di Pantai Sindulang serta pembuatan peta sebarannya di sepanjang pesisir laut Sindulang. Hasil pemetaan ini memberikan informasi yang berharga tentang penyebaran sampah di pantai Sindulang. Berdasarkan hasil pemantauan menggunakan Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) / Drone, ditemukan bahwa sekitar 80% area pasang surut di pantai Sindulang telah tercakup oleh sampah, menunjukkan tingkat pencemaran yang signifikan.

Exploring Metabolites Of Green Algae Caulerpa Spp. To Discover Putative Inhibitors Of Dpp-4, A New Antidiabetic Target Protein: Molecular Docking Compounds from Marine Green Algae
Diabetes mellitus (DM) remains a serious global health threat, claiming a million lives every year and affecting nearly 9% of the adult population who suffer from this impaired insulin sensitivity disease. The Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) enzyme has recently attracted attention because of its crucial role in insulin signaling, making this enzyme an interesting and emerging target for antidiabetic drug discovery. This study aimed to explore reported metabolites from marine algae of the genus Caulerpa as DPP-4 inhibitors through computational studies using CB-dock 2, Protein-Ligand Interaction Profiler, SwissAdme, and pkCMS. Molecular docking allowed the identification of 7 hit compounds with strong binding affinities (8.4 kcal to 9.3 kcal/mol) against DPP-4 target enzyme PDB ID: 3G4I. Four hits showed stronger binding affinity than two DPP-4 specific inhibitors and FDA-approved antidiabetic drugs, sitagliptin (8.4 kcal/mol) and linagliptin (9.0 kcal/mol). Following a molecular modification of the hit compounds using a bioisosterism-like approach and ADMET evaluation with pkCMS, three putative DPP-4 inhibitors were identified. They showed either stronger binding affinities or better ADMET profiles than sitagliptin and linagliptin, suggesting their promising potential as DPP-4 inhibitors. However, further optimized bioisoterism, in silico and in vivo studies, and clinical-based trials are required to confirm their antidiabetic activity.

The The potency of mackerel scad (Decapterus macarellus) caught in WPP 716 of North Sulawesi waters by Purse Seiner landed at the coastal fishing port of Tumumpa, Manado
The research aims to analyze the potentiality of MSY, total allowable catch (TAC), optimum effort (EMSY), and CPUE, based on the annual official report of catch and effort during 2018 - 2022 and some biological aspects of 100 fishes taken at random as samples. The results showed, the highest catch was in 2021 of 4,776,970 tons with an effort of 22,216 trips, and the lowest in 2018 of 1.610.792 tons with an effort of 14.805 trips. The MSY was 4.374.723 tons/year with a TAC of 3.499.779 tons/year and an EMSY of 20,184 trip/year. Using α 5%, it resulted in an average length of 20,64 ± 0.40 cm, and an average weight of 146.16 ± 9.98 g, with W = 0,2388 L2,1115 (W weight, L length). categorized a negative allometric growth (b < 3), with K (condition factor) 1.01 ± 0.10, and sex ratio (male and female) was 1.38: 1. The 42 female fishes had an average length of 21.09 ± 0.50 cm, average weight 154.50 ± 12.30 g, with W = 0,0061 L3.3172, categorized an isometric growth (b = 3) with K 1.00 ± 0.01, while the 58 male fishes had an average length of 20.31 ± 0.57 cm, average weight 140.12 ± 9.99 g, with W = 0,7748 L1.7313, categorized a negative allometric growth (b < 3) with K 1.02 ± 0.05.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi MSY dan jumlah tangkapan yang diperbolehkan (JTB), upaya pemanfaatan optimum, tingkat pemanfaatan MSY, serta menganalisis beberapa aspek biologis ikan layang biru hasil tangkapan pukat cincin ini, melalui pengambilan 100 ekor sampel acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah tangkapan tertinggi tahun 2021 yaitu 4.776.970 ton dengan upaya penangkapan 22.216 trip, dan terendah tahun 2018 dengan jumlah tangkapan 1.610.792 ton dengan upaya 14.805 trip. Potensi maksimum lestari (CMSY) ikan ini tercatat 4.374.723 ton/tahun dan JTB 3.499.779 ton/tahun dengan upaya maksimum lestari (EMSY) 20.184 trip/tahun. Menggunakan α 5%, diperoleh panjang rerata 20,64 ± 0.40 cm, berat rerata 146.16 ± 9.98 g dengan hubungan) yaitu W = 0,2388 L2,1115 (berat (W berat, L panjang cagak) yang terkategori alometrik negatif (b < 3), dengan K (faktor kondisi)) 1.01 ± 0.10 , dan nisbah kelamin antara jantan dan betina tercatat 1,38 : 1. Analysis Of Particle Content In Kappaphyccus alvarezii Seaweed In The Waters Of Arakan Village Using Scan Electron Microscopy–Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (SEM-EDX)
Kappaphycus alvarezii seaweed is widely cultivated in Indonesia and has important economic value. Nevertheless, this seaweed is easily attacked by diseases. This study was to determine the ice-ice triggers in seaweed farming locations. This research study was conducted at Arakan Village, South Minahasa, North Sulawesi. We performed the bacteria isolation on the infected thallus of Kappaphycus alvarezii and found Staphylococcus arlettae caused the infection. Staphylococcus aureus used to be found on the skin and mucous membranes of healthy humans, while Staphylococcus epidermis inhabits only the skin of healthy humans. Approximately 30% of the normal healthy population was affected by Staphylococcus aureus as it asymptomatically colonizes human hosts. How this Staphylococcus arlettae (mainly found in pork farms) infected Kappaphycus alvarezii which is in a high salinity environment requires an in-depth study. We completed the experiment by using Scan Electron Microscopy–Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (SEM-EDX), analysis on infected thallus Kappaphycus alvarezii, and a series of bacteria isolation to observe the morphology and the element contents of Staphylococcus arlettae bacteria has successfully attached to the surface of Kappaphycus alvarezii and caused an infection. This proves that environmental changes have stimulated pathogenic bacteria Staphylococcus arlettae in the area where Kappaphycus alvarezii is cultivated. The mechanism of biosorption by microbes that can live in environments that are contaminated with Pb metal is active uptake. This mechanism occurs simultaneously in line with the consumption of metal ions for the growth of microorganisms. Staphylococcus arlettae are resistant to heavy metals due to the ability to detoxify the influence of heavy metals in the presence of protein or granular material. From the results of the study using SEM-EDX of algae and bacteria Staphylococcus arlettae, it can be concluded that the content of the particle of metal in thallus triggers bacteria to live on the seaweed as an energy source.

Macroalgae Community Structure in West Coastal Waters of Kelabat Outer Bay, West Bangka District
The waters of the Bangka Belitung Islands, including the small islands around them, are areas with great potential for macroalgal growth. One of these areas is the waters of Kelabat Bay. Research on macroalgae in Kelabat Bay has previously been carried out, but the data obtained was not complete, so further research is needed. The purpose of this study is to identify the types of macroalgae and analyze the macroalgae community structure, as well as the relationship between physicochemical factors in the waters and the macroalgae community structure in the est coastal waters of Kelabat Outer Bay, West Bangka Districts. The location of the research station was determined by the purposive sampling method. The macroalgae sampling method is a systematic, random method of spreading line transects. Based on research results, the most abundant macroalgae found in the western coastal waters of Kelabat Outer Bay are from the Phaeophyta division, totaling 8 species with a total of 1,637 individuals; the Chlorophyta division, consisting of 4 species with a total of 692 individuals; and the Rhodophyta division, composed of 2 species with a total of 140 individuals. Which has the highest number of individuals, is Sargassum muticum, which amounted to 697 individuals. The diversity index of macroalgae in the west coastal waters of Kelabat Outer Bay is in the medium category (1,69–2,05), the evenness index is high (0,77–0,84), and the dominance index is low (0,16–0,24). Physico-chemical parameters of the waters that affect the macroalgal community structure based on principal component analysis include current velocity, salinity, and brightness.

Abstrak
Perairan Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dan termasuk pulau-pulau kecil di sekitarnya merupakan daerah yang sangat potensial bagi pertumbuhan makroalga. Salah satu daerah tersebut adalah Perairan Teluk Kelabat. Penelitian tentang makroalga di Teluk Kelabat sebelumnya pernah dilakukan, tetapi data yang diperoleh belum lengkap sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian ulang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis makroalga dan menganalisis struktur komunitas makroalga serta hubungan faktor fisika-kimia perairan terhadap struktur komunitas makroalga yang terdapat di perairan pesisir barat Teluk Kelabat Luar, Kabupaten Bangka Barat. Lokasi stasiun penelitian ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Metode pengambilan sampel makroalga adalah metode acak sistematis dengan membentangkan transek garis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, makroalga yang paling banyak ditemukan di perairan pesisir barat Teluk Kelabat Luar adalah dari divisi Phaeophyta sebanyak 8 spesies dengan total individu sebanyak 1.637, divisi Chlorophyta sebanyak 4 spesies dengan total individu sebanyak 692 dan divisi Rhodophyta sebanyak 2 spesies dengan total individu sebanyak 140. Jenis makroalga yang memiliki jumlah individu terbanyak adalah Sargassum muticum yang berjumlah 697 individu. Indeks keanekaragaman makroalga di perairan pesisir barat Teluk Kelabat Luar termasuk dalam kategori sedang (1,69–2,05), indeks kemerataan tergolong tinggi (0,77–0,84), dan indeks dominansi tergolong rendah (0,16–0,24). Parameter fisika-kimia perairan yang berpengaruh terhadap struktur komunitas makroalga berdasarkan analisis komponen utama meliputi kecepatan arus, salinitas dan kecerahan.

Length-weight Relationship and Reproduction of Halfbeak Hemiramphus lutkei Valenciennes, 1847 In The Waters Around Nain Island, North Minahasa Regency
Abstract
The waters around Nain Island have quite a lot of biological resources. One of the resources in these waters is the halfbeak Hemiramphus lutkei. This study aims to determine the relationship between length-weight and reproduction of the halfbeak Hemiramphus lutkei. The length-weight relationship, growth patterns and condition factors. Reproduction includes sex ratio, gonadal maturity level, gonadal maturity index and fecundity. Fish sampling were taken from the catches of fishermen. The number of samples required is 200, the samples are taken twice in two months from June-July. The length-weight relationship of male was W= 0.1705L1.8204 negative allometric growth pattern and female fish W = 0.0572L2.1962 negative allometric growth pattern. The condition factor of male and female where 0.98 ± 0.06 and 1.03 ± 0.07 respectively. The sex ratio of male and female (1: 0.835). The gonad maturity level of male (immature, developing, mature, ripe and spent) was found in June and female (immature, developing, mature, ripe and spent) found in June and July. The fecundity of ranged from 923 – 3,578 eggs with an average of 1,899 ± 666.

ABSTRAK
Perairan Sekitar Pulau Nain ialah perairan yang memiliki cukup banyak sumberdaya hayatinya. Salah satu sumberdaya yang berada di perairan tersebut yaitu, ikan julungjulung Hemiramphus lutkei. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan panjang-berat dan reproduksi ikan julungjulung Hemiramphus lutkei. Hubungan panjang-berat meliputi pola pertumbuhan dan faktor kondisi. Reproduksi meliputi rasio kelamin, tingkat kematangan gonad, indeks kematangan gonad dan fekunditas. Lokasi pengambilan sampel ikan diambil di perairan sekitar Pulau Nain dan sampel diambil dari hasil tangkapan nelayan. Jumlah sampel yang diperlukan sebanyak 200 ekor, sampel diambil sebanyak dua kali dalam dua bulan dari Juni-Juli. Hubungan panjang-berat ikan julungjulung jantan yaitu W= 0,1705L1,8204 pola pertumbuhan allometrik negatif. Ikan julungjulung betina W = 0,0572L2,1962 pola pertumbuhan allometrik negatif. Faktor kondisi ikan julungjulung jantan dan betina bernilai 0,98 ± 0,06 dan 1,03 ± 0,07. Rasio kelamin ikan julungjulung jantan dan betina (1:0,835). Tingkat kematangan gonad ikan julungjulung jantan (I, II, III, IV dan V) ditemukan pada setiap bulan Juni. Tingkat kematangan gonad ikan julungjulung betina (I, II, III, IV dan V) ditemukan pada setiap sampel pada bulan Juni maupun Juli. Fekunditas ikan julungjulung berkisar antara 923 – 3.578 butir dengan rata-rata 1.899 ± 666.

Mangrove Community Structure in West Madapolo Village, North Obi District, South Halmahera Regency
The ecological function of mangroves can be viewed from three aspects, namely physical, chemical, and biological aspects. Data collection of mangrove community structure using line transect quadrant method by pulling the line along 100 m from the sea to land at the lowest tide. The results of mangrove community structure analysis in West Madapolo Village, North Obi District, South Halmahera Regency. Identified 4 types of mangroves namely Rhizopora apiculata, Sonneratia alba, Brugueira gymnorhiza, and Lumnitzera litorea found at the 3 stations. The highest species density value is Rhizopora apiculata, at station 1. The highest frequency by Rhizopora apiculata, and Brugueira gymnorhiza species at station 1 with the same value of 39.29. The highest cover by Rhizopora apiculata species at station 1 with a value of 49.73 and the lowest by S. alba species at 14.17 while the highest importance value index by Rhizopora apiculata species at 147.99 and the lowest is Sonneratia alba 40.54. The highest diversity at station 2, and the lowest at station 1, the highest diversity at station 2 while the highest dominance is found at the station and the lowest at station 2.

Abstrak
Fungsi ekologis mangrove dapat ditinjau dari tiga aspek, yakni aspek fisika, kimia dan biologi. Pengambilan data struktur komunitas mangrove menggunakan metode line transek kuadran dengan cara menarik line garis sepanjang 100 m dari arah laut ke darat pada saat surut terendah. Hasil analislis struktur komunitas mangrove di Desa Madapolo Barat, Kecamatan Obi Utara, Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan. Teridentifikasi 4 jenis mangrove yaitu Rhizopora apiculata, Sonneratia alba, Brugueira gymnorhiza, dan Lumnitzera litorea yang ditemukan pada ke 3 stasiun. Nilai kerapatan jenis tertinggi adalah Rhizopora apiculata, pada stasiun 1. Frekuensi tertinggi oleh jenis Rhizopora apiculata, dan Brugueira gymnorhiza pada stasiun 1 dengan nilai yang sama yaitu 39,29. Penutupan tertinggi oleh jenis Rhizopora apiculata pada stasiun 1 dengan nilai 49,73 dan yang terendah oleh jenis S. alba 14,17 sedangkan indeks nilai penting tertinggi oleh jenis Rhizopora apiculata 147,99 dan terendah yaitu Sonneratia alba 40,54. Keanekaragaman tertinggi pada stasiun 2, dan terendah pada stasiun 1, kseseragaman tertinggi pada stasiun 2 sedangkan dominasi tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun dan yang terendah pada stasiun 2.

Application Of Pes Fertilizer To The Growth Of Kappaphycus alvarezii Plantlets
This study aims to determine the growth of Kappaphycus alvarezii plantlets applied with different PES fertilizers. This research was conducted at Blitok Installation, brackish water aquaculture center, Situbondo. This study began with the preparation of water as a maintenance medium, acclimatization of plantlets in the greenhouse, maintenance of plantlets in the greenhouse (plantlet cleaning, fertilization), and checking water quality. The application dose of PES fertilizer given as treatment was 15 ml, 20 ml, and 25 ml which was repeated 3 times. The rearing design used a completely randomized design (CRD) model. The results obtained showed that the average absolute weight gain of planlets from the 15 ml treatment was 0.249 g - 0.271 g, the 20 ml treatment was 0.35 g - 0.432 g, and the 25 ml treatment ranged from 0.306 g - 0.372 g. For the specific growth rate from the first to the fifth week of rearing, the 15 ml treatment ranged from 3.162-1.693, the 20 ml treatment ranged from 3.922-4.21 and the 25 ml treatment ranged from 2.899-3.904. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of a PES fertilizer dosage of 20 ml gave better growth than the 15 ml and 25 ml doses.

Diversity and Abundance of Echinoderms in Pancuran Beach, Lembeh Island
Echinodermata are found quite commonly in the tidal areas of Lembeh Island but their diversity and abundance have not been well documented. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of Echinoderms and their abundance at Pancuran Beach, Lembeh Island, Bitung City. Samples were taken at two stations using the Lincoln-Smith Transect method 2 x 50 m which was stretched perpendicular to the beach with three replications. Samples were identified in situ and the number of individuals of each species was noted. The results showed that in Pancuran Beach there were 18 species of phylum Echinodermata; with details of 7 species from the Asteroidea class, 5 species of Echinoidea, 4 species of Ophiuroidea, 2 species of Holothuroidea. The results of the analysis using the diversity index show that the diversity of Echinodermata at both stations is in the medium category, characterized by the value of H' = 2.06 for station I and H'= 2.35 for station II. At station 1, the type of Ophiocoma erinaceus has the highest density of 15 ind/100m2 and a relative abundance of 23.68%. At station II Echinothrix diadema has the highest abundance of 12 ind/100m2 with a relative abundance of 17.14%. Common species found in both stations are Diadema setosum, Echinometra mathaei, Echinothrix diadema, Holothuria atra, Ophiocoma erinaceus, and Ophiocoma scolopendrina.

Abstrak
Echinodermata ditemukan cukup umum di daerah pasang surut Pulau Lembeh namun keanekaragaman dan kelimpahannya belum sepenuhnya didokumentasikan dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis Echinodermata dan kelimpahannya di Pantai Pancuran, Pulau Lembeh Kota Bitung. Sampel diambil pada dua stasiun dengan menggunakan metode Lincoln-Smith Transect 2 x 50 m yang dibentangkan tegak lurus ke arah pantai dengan tiga replikasi. Sampel diidentifikasi secara insitu dan jumlah individu tiap spesies dicatat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa di Pantai Pancuran terdapat 18 spesies filum Echinodermata; dengan rincian 7 spesies dari kelas Asteroidea, 5 spesies Echinoidea, 4 spesies Ophiuroidea, 2 spesies Holothuroidea. Hasil analisa menggunakan indeks keanekaragaman menunjukkan bahwa diversitas Echinodermata pada kedua stasiun dalam kategori sedang, ditandai dengan nilai H' = 2,06 untuk stasiun I dan H'= 2,35 untuk stasiun II. Pada stasiun 1, jenis Ophiocoma erinaceus paling tinggi densitasnya yakni 15 ind/100m2 dan kelimpahan relatif 23,68%, Pada stasiun II Echinothrix diadema memiliki kelimpahan tertinggi yakni 12 ind/100m2 dengan kelimpahan relatif 17,14%. Jenis yang umum terdapat pada kedua stasiun adalah Diadema setosum, Echinometra mathaei, Echinothrix diadema, Holothuria atra, Ophiocoma erinaceus, dan Ophiocoma scolopendrina.

Morphometric and Meristic Yellowstrip Scad Selaroides leptolepis (Cuvier, 1833) Landed at TPI Tumumpa and PPI Kema
This research about morphometric and meristic character of yellow stripscad. Fish samples were selected from various sizes in order to represent the various sizes of yellow stripscad that existin nature. Samples of yellow stripscad were taken from fish landed at TPI Tumumpa as many as 60 tail and PPI Kema as many as 60 tail. The purpose of this study was to determine how the morphometric and meristic character of yellow stripscad landed in TPI Tumumpa and PPI Kema. Data analysis with K-mean cluster method using SPSS 25 and Ms. Excel 2019. Yellow stripscad landed in TPI Tumumpa and PPI Kema have different morphometric character with percentage difference of 95%. For meristic character have a fairly small lavel of difference with a difference of 29%.

Penelitian ini mengenai karakter morfometrik dan meristik ikan selar kuning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel ikan akan dipilih dari berbagai macam ukuran agar dapat mewakili berbagai macam ukuran ikan selar kuning yang ada di alam. Sampel ikan selar kuning diambil dari ikan yang didaratkan di TPI Tumumpa sebanyak 60 ekor dan di PPI Kema sebanyak 60 ekor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana karakter morfometrik dan meristik ikan selar kuning yang didaratkan di TPI Tumumpa dan PPI Kema. Analisis data dengan metode K-mean cluster menggunakan program SPSS 25 dan Ms. Excel 2019. Ikan selar kuning yang didaratkan di TPI Tumumpa dan PPI Kema memiliki karakter morfometrik yang berbeda dengan persentase perbedaan sebesar 95%. Untuk karakter meristiknya memiliki tingkat perbedaan yang cukup kecil dengan tingkat perbedaan sebesar 29%.
