    Headmaster of school / madrasah is central to education. Headmaster as a facilitator for the development of education as well as executing a task laden with hope and renewal. The role of headmaster of an educational leader is indispensable. Madrasah development and learning is progressing very significant, one cause may have been implementing the concept of instructional leader by the headmaster. Because of this, this paper aims to determine how the concept headmaster as instructional leader in improving the quality of learning. The school headmaster as instructional leader can achieve the goal of improving student learning and success in the first way, helping to divert attention from teaching to learning; second, creating a shared goal among teachers about the spirit of third student, using the data with the aim that the teacher is able to develop the education of students both as individuals and groups, fourth, providing support to teachers by providing training, instructional media and support needed to help students in achieve success. and fifth, align curriculum, instruction and assessment

    Abstract: The problem for school children usually do not like the lessons he considered difficult. This issue will certainly affect the ability of understanding the concept of learning itself. Therefore must be considered principles of good teaching so that learning is always a problem for students can be overcome. The principles include: 1) the need to prepare children for learning, 2) starting from the concrete to the abstract, 3) providing opportunities for children to practice and repeat, 4) generalize to new situations, 5) departed from the strengths and weaknesses students, 6) the need to build a strong foundation in the concepts and skills, 7) the provision of a balanced program, and 8) the use of media (Amilda 2010, p. 159).It should be understood by the teacher when the learning process, the teacher in the classroom not only provide knowledge or values of the teacher as a storehouse of knowledge and students are like empty bottles are filled, but should be able to provide stimulus and intelligently implemented in the classroom, but students should be able to be made to think eduktif and can build a good human types and plenary (complete and incomplete) (Kartono, 2001, p. 10).The teacher is the holder of a leading role in the implementation of learning. Veri Yulianto undertaken an evaluation of performance, comparing actual performance with targets, holding monthly meetings, specially in setting standards of performance, reward and panishment, provides guidance to employees, asking for a report after activity and always provide motivation to Setaf council employees and teachers. Third, the role of quality improvement in this case the head of MAN Gumawang conduct continuous improvement, conduct supervision per each semester, providing training and education to teachers and employees, held on the hour tutoring students outside of school and work closely with parents.Inhibiting factors Head MAN Gumawang in improving the quality of education is subordinate still less responsive to work productively, his lack of educators / teachers remain, learning tools that have not been beautiful, different subordinate character and limited funds available.     Abstract:Transformation of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) to the State Islamic University (UIN), can be seen as a necessity of history and civilization. The process of transformation of higher education institutions of Islam is actually already happened several times. Beginning of the institutional status of official academy Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Department of Religious Science Academy name (ADIA).First, the presence of UIN faced with the global era and the third millennium. Global era marked by the rise of science and technology. Along with it, social thought and humanities dealing with a new outlook, known as postmodernism, poststructuralism (Franz Dahler and Eka Budianta, 2000: 84). The third millennium is characterized by a shift in the value system that refers to the permissiveness (permissive).         Secondly, with this transformation UIN faced with the preparedness to meet new status bears, namely the university. These changes however, needs to be supported by changes in patterns and ways of thinking of the Pengola or academicians who preceded by paradigm change.     Building kelimuan tradition is a milestone in the development of the supporting values of Islam in the realm of civilization built on the UIN. The formation of the scientific tradition directly related to the values contained in the primary sources of Islam, namely the Qur\u27an and Hadith.         UIN realization through the transformation process at least not limited to institutional alone. Moreover UIN also required to develop themselves, to change the paradigm, the paradigm refers to the Qur\u27an (derived from the values of the teachings of the Qur\u27an), as was done by Muslim scientists Classical era in building the Islamic scientific tradition . Muslim scientists motivated motivated by the values of the teachings of the Qur\u27an. While the descriptive data analysis techniques.The study aims to determine the Implementation of Teachers Working Group (KKG) PAI in State Primary School Cluster District of Payaraman, knows discipline teacher of Islamic education in the following activities PAI KKG District of Payaraman, and to determine the pedagogical competence of teachers in the State Primary School PAI Force District of Payaraman .The results of the research are: (1) Conducting a Teacher Working Group (KKG) PAI District of Payaraman already performing well.     AbstractThe research method used is the qualitative approach, which is based on the purpose to obtain a realistic picture-holistic concept of school-based management implementation in SDIT Tower Indralaya disposition. Source of data in the form of writing in this study is the source document in the form of books, scientific papers, as well as sheets of records pertaining to the research. Unwritten data source is the principal, teachers, and those who are considered related to the implementation of school-based management in SDIT Tower Indralaya disposition.Based on these results, several conclusions can be formulated, that implementsi School Based Management (SBM) in SDIT Tower Indralaya disposition includes several aspects. The first aspect of the curriculum with subjects and programs with a strong Islamic values. Both aspects of the interactive process, inspiring, fun, challenging, and motivations that conditioned their learning process students learn with berpartisifasi active and independent. These three aspects of the learners, which makes learners who Muttaqin intelligent, noble, and have the skills and interests for the benefit of mankind. The fourth aspect of educators to work in a professional manner and have the competence and positioning itself as a role model in school. These five aspects of infrastructure are complete enough to support the educational process. The sixth aspect of management through a clear plan, and executed with each other to form a single entity to coordinate between all components of the school. Ketuju aspects of financing, income funds of learners, BOS state budget, as well as community infaq managed with the standards set by JSIT. Eighth aspects of assessment through supervision and inspection conducted by the principal yng scheduled and evaluation of learning outcomes and programs undertaken by teachers. References used are still many who cite the non-Muslim scholars (Orientalist). Therefore, this study raises issues about human nature, the essence of education, Islamic education system and the education system according to the Tafsir Tarbawi aqidah. it aims to to know what is the nature of man, the nature of education, Islamic education system, and the education system aqeedah Tarbawi Tafsir perspective.The approach of this thesis research was Tafsir Tarbawi, namely analyzing passages in connection with education by using content analysis as a means of adjustment. The steps are as follows: Data Reduction Data Display, Conclusion Drawing / Verification by Comparison.From the data analysis it can be concluded that the essence of man in view tarbawi interpretation can be categorized into seven concepts, namely: Abd Allah, Children of Adam, al-Bechar, al-Insan al-Ins, al-Nas, Caliph of Allah.     Abstract: The approach used in this study is a mixed methods research is the use of both quantitative and qualitative approaches. While the study sample and research informants were 145 students drawn from the 5 courses, and 6 lecturers who taught courses in Al-Islam. The technique of collecting data; observation, documentation, testing, and interviews. While the analysis of the data processed in 2 ways, quantitative data processing using qualitative descriptive statistics. The qualitative data processing flow is analyzed through three activities: data reduction, data presentation and data verification / conclusion and used for descriptive answers based on data from interviews, observation, and documentation.     Based on the results of research and discussion, First, understanding student College of Health Sciences (STIKes) Muhammadiyah Palembang against al-Islam subjects who have test scores understanding of the subject of Al-Islam who answer the test and is included in the low category yatiubmulai of 59-0 or the value of C as much as 4 students (5%), as many as 10 students (10%) in the medium category ranging from the 79-60 or the value of B, while 131 people (85%) in the high category, ranging from 80- 100 or the value of A. Therefore, the student\u27s understanding College of Health Sciences (STIKes) Muhammadiyah Palembang on subjects al-Islam overall good student understanding. Second, the factors that affect student understanding College of Health Sciences (STIKes) Muhammadiyah Palembang against al-Islam courses supporting factors include learning methods, facilities and infrastructure as well as learning media.     Abstract:This research is motivated by the students who have high academic achievement but there are still children who are less able to control his emotions as controlling yourself in hanging out with friends, and set the mood, and less empathy equally friend.Based on the above background, which is at issue in this thesis is 1). how emotional intelligence of students in Elementary School Boarding Qodratullah ledge Banyuasin, 2). how student achievement in the subjects of Islamic religious education at Government Elementary School Boarding Qodratullah ledge Banyuasin and 3). whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and academic achievement of students in the subjects of Islamic religious education at Government Elementary School Boarding Qodratullah Banyuasin ledge. To answer the question in this thesis researchers used a quantitative approach. To get the data, researchers used several techniques that questionnaire as the main data used to obtain data related to students\u27 emotional intelligence then observation, documentation and interview as supporting data in the study of emotional intelligence and academic achievement. Data analysis technique used product moment correlation.Based on the research findings, emotional intelligence were high, then when categorized emotional intelligence of students in Elementary School Qodratullah ledge moderate. As for student achievement obtained from the questionnaire and tests that were high then when categorized student achievement in Elementary School Qodratullah relatively high ledge. The relationship between emotional intelligence and academic achievement of students is very signitifikan.     AbstractThis study aims to determine how Islamic religious education in shaping the character of the nation. How a student\u27s character in MAN 1 Palembang, and how the behavior of students in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Palembang.  The research in this thesis using mixed methods research approaches that use both quantitative and qualitative approaches in the study in order to understand the research problem. The technique of collecting data are: observation, documentation, and questionnaires. While the analysis of the data were analyzed in two ways, namely qualitative and quantitative way. The processing of quantitative data using descriptive statistics and using SPSS, whereas qualitative data through three flow of activities: data reduction, data presentation and data verification / conclusion.Based on the findings in the field that I did it through observation to school in Madrasah Aliyah Islamic education in shaping the character has an important role and the efforts that are systematically designed and implemented to help students understand the values of human behavior which manifested itself in the mind, attitude , feelings, words, and actions based on religious norms.From the analysis of the data in this thesis found First, Islamic Education in the formation of national character is through the subject matter PAI later developed in everyday student at school. Character formation systematically implemented to help students understand the values and character of human behavior associated with gods, themselves, fellow humans, the environment, and manners, which supported the establishment of a character appropriate method in coaching youth Islamically. Second, students in the formation of character MAN 1 Palembang is to unify the value contained in the material character PAI later developed in students\u27 everyday personal forming students who adhere to religion and the State. In this case seen from the answers questionnaire distributed to 100 students were included in both categories by 81%, pretty good by 15% and 4% poor. Third, the behavior of students in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Palembang classified in the category of good, polite, well-mannered, respectful to teachers and to worship and obey the school rules. It is seen from the answer to a questionnaire distributed to 100 students were included in both categories by 79%, pretty good by 12% and 10% unfavorable. Keywords: PAI Education, Character nation, Student Behavior
