School Committee Strategies for Parental Involvement in Implementing Primary School Decisions.
This study investigated School committee strategies for parental involvement in implementing primary school decisions. The study was aimed to achieve three specific objectives: firstly, to analyse communication channels between schools and parents for the implementation of school decisions in primary schools; secondly, to investigate the strategies used by school committees to involve parents in implementing school decisions; and thirdly, to identify the challenges faced by parents in implementing school decisions. The study utilized a qualitative research approach and a single case study design, involving four government primary schools and a sample of 65 participants. Data was gathered through interviews, document reviews, and focus group discussions, and was subsequently analysed thematically. The results indicated various communication methods between schools and parents, such as parent meetings, village meetings, official letters, memos, and the involvement of students. Furthermore, methods employed by the school committee in involving parents in implementing school decisions are like attending schools’ events, public campaign and fundraising functions, . In general, parents face various challenges when it comes to implementing school decisions, such as the level of awareness and understanding among parents. The study concludes that parental involvement in implementing school decisions has not been effective due to a lack of understanding among community members about the primary reasons for their involvement. Finally, the study recommends providing proper education on the importance of parental involvement in implementing school decisions to draw parents' attention to effective participation in the process.

The Impact of Work Environment on Employee Job Satisfaction in Public Institutions: A Case of Bombo Regional Hospital.
The study sought to assess the impact of work environment on employee job satisfaction in public institutions: A case of Bombo Regional Hospital. Positivistic philosophy and quantitative research approach were used to produce quantifiable and reliable data generalized to some large population. In addition, it was thought that a case study design would be advantageous given this study's circumstances of constrained time and resources. A sample size of 222 respondents out of 500 employees working at Bombo Regional Hospital was considered to be reasonable and affordable using simple random sampling. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze quantitative data concerning the impact of work environment towards employees’ job satisfaction at Bombo Regional Hospital. Multiple regression analysis was also carried out to determine the general relationship between the independent (supervision, reward and responsibility) and dependent variables (employees’ job satisfaction). Based on the study findings, all variables included in the model (supervision, reward and responsibility) predicted 51% of variations on employees’ job satisfaction (Nagelkerke R2 = 0.51). Therefore, all variables included in the model had significant effects or relationship on employees’ job satisfaction at the work place. Based on the study findings, the researcher recommends that the issue concerning to the impact of work environment on employee’s job satisfaction should be addressed by public institutions like the hospitals since it motivates employees to treat their work seriously and with joy and keeps them committed to their duties.

Factors Influencing the Implementation of Biology Science Curriculum Practical Activities in Selected Government Preparatory Schools of Gulele Sub-city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
The main focus of this study was assessing the major factors influencing the implementation of biology curriculum practical activities in selected preparatory schools of Gulele Sub-city. The study sought to cover the following three objectives: First to determine the level/status of implementation of biological science practical work in selected secondary schools; and second, to identify those factors that contributed for the poor performance of biology curriculum practical activities in the selected secondary schools and lastly to assess the strategies for improving the implementation status of biology curriculum practical activities in secondary schools of Gulele sub- city. A descriptive survey method was employed in this study. Both probability and non –probability sampling technique were used. Accordingly, 300 participants were selected in the sample. Moreover, questionnaire, interview, observation checklist tools were used to collect relevant data pertaining to the identified problem. Before administrating the questionnaire, pilot test was conducted in one secondary school for validity and reliability of the items. After data were gathered, analysis was made using tables, frequency, and percentage mean and weighted mean. The findings of this research indicated that the multivariate nature makes the problem more complex and make difficult to identify one single factor. Many factors like student related factors, teachers’ related factors, school related factors, school administration related factors and curriculum related factors were the factors that seriously influence the successful implementation of biology curriculum practical activities. It is still remains true that the cumulative average impact of curriculum related factors are found to have the most significant effect in influencing the implementation of practical activities in preparatory schools. To alleviate these problems strengthen pre-service and in-service teacher training, alignment of general education with teacher education curriculum, Separate time allocation for practical work, improving school facilities, strengthening supervision and support to teachers, developing/designing tailored and relevant curriculum, training and assigning competent educational leaders, revisiting language policy, and making teaching as a profession of choice were suggested.

Influence of Budgeting Process on Organizational Performance: A Case of Morogoro Municipal Council.
The study focused on the influence of the budgeting process on the organization performance of Morogoro Municipal Council as a case study. The study is guided by the Goal-setting theory. In this research, both probability and non-probability sampling techniques are used. In probability sampling, a simple random sampling method is used because the departments has the same characteristics. The sample of the study was 100 respondents. Structured questionnaire and in-depth interviews were the main techniques for data collection from respondents, Collected data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis to determine the relationship between theindependent and dependent variables The analyzed results revealed that there is a positive relationship between budgeting processes and organization performance. The regression is 0.761c and R. square of 0.58. For the correlation, there is a positive coefficient between budgeting processes and organization performance. The study recommended that organizations should strengthen the budgetary process to make their goals clear, specific and difficult but attainable in order to realize superior performance. Findings indicate that effective budgeting process is crucial for organizations to align resources with strategic objectives. A flexible budgeting process are easily adapted to new requirements without losing effectiveness or efficiency of organization goals.

Assessment of Factors Affecting the Completion of the Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency Project in the City of Dar es Salaam.
This study intended to assess the factors affecting the completion of TARURA Projects in Dar es Salaam City. A quantitative study approach and a descriptive survey design were employed to achieve the study purpose. This research was conducted at TARURA offices in Dar es Salaam City. It targeted TARURA employees responsible for implementing TARURA projects in Dar es Salaam City. There were a total number of 90 employees of TARURA in Dar es Salaam. Slovin’s formula was used to calculate the sample size and determined that 73 employees out of 90 employees of TARURA was the optimum sample size for the study. A simple random sampling technique was used in this study to select employees of TARURA in Dar es Salaam city. The questionnaire method was used in this study for quantitative data collection from the sampled employees of TARURA in Dar es Salaam City. Quantitative data collected through questionnaires were analysed through descriptive and inferential statistics with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS version 21.0). The current study found that the predictor variables such as technical competency, resource allocation, and external environment have a positive and significant influence on the outcome variable, which is the completion of the TARURA projects in Dar es Salaam City. The variable that has the strongest influence on project completion among the three predictor variables was technical competence, followed by resource allocation and external environment. It is strongly recommended that project staff’s technical abilities be improved to uplift their technical competency, resources should be allocated sufficiently and on time, and the project schedule should be estimated with strong consideration to the external environment like weather conditions to avoid delays.

Assessment of Community Engagement Strategy in Accelerating Malaria Elimination in Zanzibar.
Zanzibar is among the few places within East Africa that have documented a significant reduction in malaria morbidity and mortality. Despite tremendous gains over the past decade, malaria transmission persists. This study aimed to assess community engagement strategies for accelerating malaria elimination. It consisted of three phases of population surveys: Phase one assessed the existing situation on the level of community engagement. Phase two implemented door-to-door intervention activities, and in phase three, the post-intervention situation was assessed. This study was informed by Social-ecological and Health Belief theory.
A descriptive cross-sectional survey was conducted by administering questionnaires to 431 households. A multistage sampling technique was used to select the study participants. In-depth interviews and Focused group discussions were also conducted to gain more insight. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were done to determine the association between different variables and community engagement. A thematic approach was used for qualitative analysis.
A total of 431 heads of household were interviewed. Out of all respondents, only 170 (39%) were involved in planning, implementing, or both planning and implementing malaria interventions. The level of malaria burden and knowledge were significantly associated with community engagement. The door-to-door intervention was perceived as applicable and helpful for promoting community engagement.

Determinants of Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Government Health Centre Building Project In Kinondoni, Tanzania.
This research aimed to investigate determinants of Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Government Health Centre Building Project in Kinondoni, Tanzania. The study was guided by three specific objectives: to identify the effect of information and communication technology (ICT) utilization on monitoring and Evaluation of Kinondoni health centres projects, to determine the influence of stakeholder engagement on monitoring and Evaluation of Kinondoni health centres projects and to ascertain the influence of management support on monitoring and Evaluation of Kinondoni health centres projects. In addressing these objectives, the study employed a case study design and utilized a sample of 70 respondents, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires for primary data, while secondary data were gathered from journals, reports, and articles. The analysis methods used included descriptive analysis, correlation, and multiple regression to test the relationships between the variables.
The findings of the correlation analysis indicated that there is a positive correlation between Information and communication technology (ICT)and Effective monitoring and Evaluation (r= 0.832, p-value =0.000) this imply that the Information and communication technology influences effective monitoring and Evaluation.The findings also shows that there is a positive correlation between Stakeholder engagement and effective monitoring and Evaluation whereby (r = 0.741, p-value = 0.000 which means that Stakeholder engagement influences effective monitoring and Evaluation. Furthermore, study findings revealed that there is a positive relationship between Management Support and effective monitoring and evaluation whereby (r = 0.764, p-value = 0.000) which implies that whenever there is Management Support it would enhance effective monitoring and Evaluation. Finally, study concluded that to improve the timeliness and effectiveness of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) processes. The study recommends that management prioritize the allocation of adequate budgets specifically for ICT tools and resources. Investing in secure data handling systems and necessary technology can streamline M&E activities and enhance project performance
The Effect of Self-Service Banking Technology on Customer Satisfaction at NMB Bank.
Modern technology plays a critical role in attracting and maintaining bank customers as it meets their needs by providing quality and efficient services. The present study aims at assessing the impact of self-service bank technology on customer satisfaction at NMB Bank. The descriptive research design was adopted as a study design employing questionnaires and interviews as data collection instruments. Random and purposive sampling techniques were employed to select 120 customers from six branches of NMB Bank. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used to analyse collected data employing frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple linear regression. Analysis of the findings revealed four self-service bank technologies (SSBT) which were mostly used by NMB bank customers including NMB Internet bank, NMB ATM, NMB POS, and NMB Mobile. NMB ATM and NMB Mobile banking were preferred over Internet banking and POS due to the low level of knowledge of Internet usage among customers. Results also revealed a significant positive relationship between SSBT parameters and customer satisfaction. SSBT parameters; reliability, responsiveness, assurance, tangibility, and empathy were found to explain 99% of variations of customer satisfaction. The study concluded that reliability, responsiveness, assurance, tangibility, and empathy have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. However, empathy and tangibility are given less attention by customers compared to other SSBT parameters. The study recommends that banks should hire skilled workers in the customers' divisions to overcome business problems associated with SST and to ensure that customer concerns are handled professionally and promptly.

Impact of Factors Influencing Building Rehabilitation Performance in Tanzania
This study intended to examine the factors influencing building rehabilitation performance in Tanzania,particularly Tarime Prison. Specific objectives of the study were to examine the influence of project planning on building rehabilitation performance, to examine the influence of project financing on building rehabilitation performance, and to examine the influence of project team competence on building rehabilitation performance in Tarime prison in the Mara region. The agency theory and institutional theory were utilized. This study employed a post-positivism philosophical framework and a quantitative research approach. A descriptive research design was utilized and the population consisted of 136 staff members, and a simple random sampling technique was used to select a sample size of 101 individuals. Data was collected through structured questionnaires and a review of relevant documents. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods with the aid of SPSS software. The findings of the study confirmed a significant relationship between project planning and building
rehabilitation performance. Similarly, the study revealed that project financing also had a significant relationship with building rehabilitation performance. Additionally,
there was a significant relationship found between project team competence and building rehabilitation performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended to adopt a mixed-methods approach, starting with qualitative research techniques to gain a comprehensive understanding of the crucial characteristics and variables that impact rehabilitation performance. This approach will provide valuable insights for optimizing building rehabilitation outcomes.

Assessing Contributions of Community – Based Water Supply Organization on Sustainability of Rural Water Supply Schemes in Shinyanga District Council Tanzania
This study assessed the contributions of community-based water supply organization on the sustainability of the rural water supply schemes in Shinyanga district council. It was guided by three specific objectives which were to determine the effects of monitoring and evaluation, to examine effects of stakeholder support, and to determine the effects of management practices on the sustainability of rural water supply schemes respectively. In this study the researcher used a quantitative approach in which data was collected. Simple random technique was employed to select 399 from the population of 304392. Structured questionnaire was used to collect data, which was analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The study found that monitoring and evaluation was positive and statistically significant related to sustainability of rural water supply schemes. Stakeholder Support was found to be positive and statistically significant related the sustainability of rural water supply schemes. Management practices was found to be positive and statistically significant related on the sustainability of rural water supply schemes. Therefore, this study recommended on the provision of training and workshops to community members on water management, system operation, maintenance and financial management. this will empower them with the necessary skills to effectively manage and sustain water supply schemes in their area. This study also recommends on advocating for supportive policies and regulations, collaborate with local authorities and relevant stakeholders to advocate for policies and regulation that support the operations of Community Based Water Supply Organizations and promote sustainable water supply services.
