PENGARUH PEMBERIAN DOSIS BOKASHI KELOR DAN BNR (Rhizoctonia binucleat) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN VANILI (Vanilla planifolia Andrews)
Vanilla plant (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) is a spice plant that has high economic value. Vanilla growth is slow, so special treatment is needed so that its growth can be maximized. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving Moringa bokashi and Binucleat-Rhizoctonia (BNR) on the growth of vanilla. The research was carried out at the Green House of Tunas Pembangunan University, Surakarta, Jl. Balekambang Lor No.1 at an altitude of 105 meters above sea level, on October 2019 - February 2020. This study used the factorial method with the basic pattern of Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL) which consisted of 2 treatments with 3 replications. The first factor, Moringa bokasi dose (P) which consists of 4 levels, namely: P0: 50 g/plant, P1: 100 g/plant, P2: 150 g/plant, P3: 200 g/plant. While the second factor is: the dose of Rhizoctonia binucleate (R) which consists of 3 levels, namely: R0: 5 g/plant, R1: 10 g/plant, R2: 15 g/plant. Giving Moringa bokashi and BNR had a very significant effect on the number of leaves, and had a significant effect on plant height, and had no significant effect on the parameters of root length, fresh root weight, dry root weight, fresh stover weight and dry stover weight. The highest dry weight was found in the P3R0 treatment weighing 5.73 g and the lowest in the P2R1 treatment weighing 1.23 g.Tanaman vanili (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) merupakan salah satu tanaman rempah yang memiliki nilai ekonomi cukup tinggi. Pertumbuhan vanili termasuk lambat, sehingga dibutuhkan perlakuan khusu agar pertumbuhannya dapat maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bokashi kelor Rhizoctonia binucleat (BNR) terhadap pertumbuhan vanili. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di Green House Universitas Tunas Pembangunan Surakarta, pada ketinggian tempat 105 mdpl, pada Bulan Oktober 2019 – bulan Februari 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode faktorial dengan pola dasar Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) yang terdiri dari 2 perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama, Dosis bokasi kelor (P) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu: P0: 50 g/tanaman, P1: 100 g/tanaman, P2: 150 g/tanaman, P3: 200 g/tanaman. Sedangkan faktor yang kedua yaitu: dosis Rhizoctonia binucleat (R) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu: R0: 5 g/tanaman, R1: 10 g/tanaman R2: 15 g /tanaman. Pemberian bokashi kelor dan BNR berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun, dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, serta tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter panjang akar, bobot akar segar, bobot akar kering, bobot segar tanaman dan bobot kering tanaman. Bobot kering tanaman tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan P3R0 seberat 5,73 g dan terendah pada perlakuan P2R1 seberat 1,23 g

Sweet corn (Zea mays var. Saccharata, Sturt) is a horticultural crop with high economic value. Sweet corn plants are susceptible to attack by plant pest organisms, reducing production yields. Using synthetic chemical pesticides of the carbamate group can reduce the diversity of predatory insects as biological controllers. Many farmers do not know about the role of predatory insects in agriculture, so there is often a mistarget in control. This study aimed to determine the diversity of predatory insects on sweet corn. The research was conducted in Cabeyan, Sukoharjo district, using the descriptive observation method. Data collection is done directly. In this study, several types of predatory insects were found, including three species from the Araneae order, two from the Odonata, one from the Hymenoptera, one from the Diptera, and one species from the Coleoptera.Sweet corn (Zea mays var. Inventory of Pests and Intensity of Fruit Fly Attacks (Bactrocera dorsalis) on Curly Red Chili Plants (Capsicum annum L.) in Sido Luhur Farmer Group of Cabeyan Village
Curly red chili (Capsicum annum L.) is a horticultural plant with high economic value. So many people are cultivating it. Chili plants are susceptible to Plant Disrupting Organisms (OPT) attack, which can decrease the production yield and quality of chili harvests. One potentially damaging Plant Disrupting organism is pests, whose presence in chili plants is very diverse. The life cycle and eating activities are very detrimental to farmers because they will reduce the yield of chili plants. This study aims to determine the diversity of pest types and the rate of attack from fruit fly pests (Bactrocera dorsalis) on the curly red chili plant (Capsicum annum L.). Research has been carried out in Cabeyan Village, Bendosari district, and Sukoharjo from October 1, 2020–February 28, 2021. The study used observational, descriptive, and interview methods. Data collection is done directly and sampling using random sampling methods. This study found several types of pests consisting of 12 species divided into 11 species into phylum Arthropoda and 1 Species of Phylum Mollusca. Influence of Polybag Size and Interval of Liquid Organic Fertilizer of Banana Stones on The Growth and Results of Chilli Variety
Indonesian people will feel bland if they eat without chilli, the raw material is chilli, so people still consume chilli even though the price is expensive. This study aims to determine the effect of polybag size and interval of application of liquid organic fertilizer on banana stems on the growth and yield of Dewata's cayenne pepper that is cultivated organically in polybags. This study used a Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL) with two treatment factors. The results showed that polybag size had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height, the weight of fresh stover, the weight of dry stover, number of red fruit, number of green fruit and weight of green fruit, and did not significantly affect parameters of number of flowers and weight of red fruit. The interval of POC administration of banana stems had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height, the weight of fresh stover, the weight of dry stover, number of flowers, number of red fruit, the weight of red fruit, number of green fruit and weight of green fruit. There was no interaction between polybag size and interval of administration of POC banana stems on growth and yield of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens. L) Dewata variety.Masyarakat Indonesia akan merasa hambar jika makan tanpa sambal yang bahan bakunya adalah cabai sehingga masyarakat tetap mengkonsumsi cabai meskipun harganya mahal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran polibag dan interval pemberian pupuk organik cair batang pisang terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil cabai rawit varietas Dewata yang dibudidayakan secara organik dalam polibag. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan dua factor perlakuan. hasil penelitian menunjukan ukuran polibag berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, berat brangkasan segar, berat brangkasan kering, jumlah buah merah, jumlah buah hijau dan berat buah hijau, dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter jumlah bunga dan berat buah merah. Interval pemberian POC batang pisang berpengaruh sangat nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, berat brangkasan segar, berat brangkasan kering, jumlah bunga, jumlah buah merah, berat buah merah, jumlah buah hijau dan berat buah hijau. Tidak ada interaksi antara ukuran polibag dan interval pemberian POC batang pisang terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens.L) varietas Dewata
MEMAKSIMALKAN HASIL PADI SALIBU MENGGUNAKAN PUPUK UREA DAN PUPUK NPK
The salibu rice is a modification from ratoon rice system. The application of inorganic fertilizers can increase the salibu rice yield. This study aims to know the optimum dose of urea and NPK Phonska fertilizers to maximize the salibu rice yield. This experiment was a pot experiment arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with three replications. The first factor was the dose of urea fertilizer consisted of three levels, namely: 100, 200, and 300 kg ha-1. The second factor was the dose of NPK Phonska fertilizer which consisted of three levels, namely: 100, 200, and 300 kg ha-1. In the study, added one treatment as a control (without treatment). The results showed that urea and NPK Phonska could be increased leaf greenery, tillers number, canopy dry weight, and dry weight of grain per hectare. The optimum dose of urea fertilizer was found at 317.6 kg ha-1 and yielded a maximum grain dry weight of 4.96 tons ha-1, and the optimum dose of Phonska NPK fertilizer was obtained at 231.7 kg ha-1 and gave the maximum grain dry weight of 4.71 tons ha-1. The findings of the study indicate that the interval application of urea fertilizer has not reached the optimum dose, while the NPK Phonska fertilizer is found at 231.7 kg ha-1. In future research suggest that the application of urea fertilizer can be increased with doses higher than 300 kg ha-1 in the salibu rice cultivation.Padi salibu merupakan modifikasi dari budidaya padi ratun. Pemberian pupuk anorganik dapat meningkatkan hasil padi salibu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis optimum pupuk urea dan NPK Phonska untuk memaksimalkan hasil padi salibu. Percobaan ini merupakan percobaan pot yang disusun dalam rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan tiga kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk urea terdiri atas tiga aras, yaitu: 100, 200, dan 300 kg ha-1. Faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk NPK Phonska terdiri atas tiga aras, yaitu: 100, 200, dan 300 kg ha-1. Pada penelitian ini ditambahkan satu perlakuan sebagai kontrol (tanpa perlakuan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk urea dan NPK Phoska dapat meningkatkan kehijauan daun, jumlah anakan, bobot kering tajuk, dan bobot kering gabah. Penggunaan dosis 317,6 kg ha-1 urea menghasilkan bobot kering gabah maksimum sebanyak 4,96 ton ha-1, dan dosis 231,7 kg ha-1 NPK Phonska memberikan bobot kering gabah maksimal sebesar 4,71 ton ha-1. Temuan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian interval pupuk urea belum mencapai dosis optimum, sedangkan pupuk NPK Phonska ditemukan pada dosis 231,7 kg ha-1. Penelitian ke depan disarankan, pemberian dosis pupuk urea dapat ditingkatkan lebih dari dosis 300 kg ha-1 pada budidaya padi salibu
UJI EFEKTIVITAS BIOPESTISIDA TEMBAKAU TERHADAP SERANGAN HAMA THRIPS (Thrips tabaci Lidenam) PADA PERTUMBUHAN PUCUK TANAMAN TEH (Camellia sinensis)
Tea (Camellia sinensis Lidenam.) is a plant whose shoots are taken for a beverage. Tea plants are susceptible to attack by Plant Pest Organisms (OPT) which have the potential to reduce yields by up to 30%, in severe attacks can reduce production by up to 50%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tobacco biopesticide treatment on the intensity of attack and the percentage of pest attack (Thrips tabaci lidenam) on the shoots of tea plants. The study was carried out at PT Rumpun Sari Kemuning in Kemuning, Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar, on April 1 - June 29, 2021. This study used a Completely Randomized Block Design method with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The first treatment was J0: Control, J1: 0.05% Biopesticide Concentration, J2: 0.1% Biopesticide Concentration, J3: 0.15% Biopesticide Concentration, J4: 0.20% Biopesticide Concentration, J5: 0.25 Biopesticide Concentration %, the biopesticide treatment was carried out 12 times. The results of this study showed that the use of tobacco biopesticide 0.20% gave the best results against the percentage of pest attacks, namely 40.00%. And the use of 0.25% biopesticide gave the best results against the percentage of pest attack intensity of 8.75%.Teh (Camellia sinensis Lidenam.) merupakan tanaman yang diambil pucuknya untuk bahan minuman. Tanaman teh rentan terhadap serangan Organisme Pengganggu Tanaman (OPT) yang berpotensi menurunkan hasil hingga 30%, pada serangan berat dapat menurunkan produksi hingga 50%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan biopestisida tembakau terhadap intensitas serangan dan presentase serangan hama (Thrips tabaci lidenam) pada bagian pucuk tanaman teh. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di PT Rumpun Sari Kemuning di Kemuning, Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar, pada tanggal 1 april - 29juni tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan pertama yaitu J0: Kontrol, J1: Konsentrasi Biopestisida 0,05%, J2: Konsentrasi Biopestisida 0,1%, J3: Konsentrasi Biopestisida 0,15%, J4: Konsentrasi Biopestisida 0,20%, J5: Konsentrasi Biopestisida 0,25%, perlakuan biopestisida dilakukan sebanyak 12 kali. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan biopestisida tembakau 0,20% memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap persentase serangan hama yaitu 40,00 %. Dan penggunaan biopestisida 0,25% memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap persentase intensitas serangan hama sebesar 8,75%
Effects of Husk Ash Dosage and Leaf Fertilizer Concentration on the Growth and Results of Celery Plants (Apium graveolens)
This research determined the effect of husk ash and POC Nasa leaf fertilizer on celery growth and yield. This research was done in Karangasem Village, Sraten, Gatak District, Sukoharjo Regency, at 129 m above sea level. The success of celery plant growth depends on principal growth and suitable cultivation procedures. Husk ash is one of the soil binders that keeps nutrients available for plants. The silica content can strengthen the leaves. In the experiment, plants that were given roasted husks had more erect leaves. Besides strengthening leaves, the phosphate content in husk ash can strengthen plants and encourage the development of plant cellsâ€â€a good place to live for microorganisms (beneficial microbes). The presence of husk ash as a mixture of soil media can bind nutrients in the soil so that they are always available for the plant. This study used the factorial method with a completely randomized design (CRD) pattern consisting of two treatment factors. The treatment factor was administering husk ash dose A (A0 = without husk ash, A1 = 40 grams; A2 = 50 grams). Concentration of foliar fertilizer POC Nasa P (P0 = without POC Nasa, P1 = 2 cc/ltr, P2 = 3 cc/ltr). The data obtained were analyzed with a 5% variance. If it had a significant effect, it continued with the 5% DMRT test. The results showed that the administration of a combination treatment of husk ash dose and concentration of POC Nasa (AxP) leaf fertilizer was significantly different to the number of leaves per strand. The treatments of various doses of husk ash were not significantly different from the six observation parameters, and the concentration treatment of POC Nasa leaf fertilizer was not significantly different from the six observation parameters. The highest number of plant leaves, 78 g, was obtained in the combination of A2P1 (husk ash 50 g and a concentration of POC Nasa leaf fertilizer of 2 cc/l). The lowest number of plant leaves, 22 g, was obtained in the combination of A2P2 (Husk Ash 50 g and a concentration of POC Nasa Leaf Fertilizer 3 cc/l).This research was conducted to determine the dose of husk ash and concentration of POC Nasa leaf fertilizer on the growth and yield of celery plants. This research has been carried out from August 2021 to November 2021, in Karangasem Village, Kel. Sraten, Kac. Gatak, Kab. Sukoharjo with an altitude of 129 m above sea level.

The Effect of Competence and Job Training on the Performance of Crab Meat Agro-industry Employees in West Java
The demand for world crab meat increases from year to year, but Indonesia can only partially fulfill it due to problems in fulfilling the resulting product quality. The crab meat agro-industry must have human resources with quality and effectiveness to work by international standards to meet export demand. The problem is that not all agro-industry can fulfil this. One way that can be taken to increase competence is through training so that employee performance increases at the same time; this is set as a research objective. The study's results indicate that training significantly improves employee competence and performance, either directly or indirectly, improving performance through increasing competence. The training must be systematic, starting from the materials required, the methods used and the instructors' abilities. Competencies that increase are essential skills, self-concept, experience and knowledge. Employee performance improved in quality, quantity, timeliness, effectiveness, initiative, and independence.Permintaan daging rajungan dunia meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, namun Indonesia hanya dapat memenuhi sebagian karena kendala dalam pemenuhan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Agroindustri daging kepiting harus memiliki sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan efektif agar dapat bekerja sesuai standar internasional untuk memenuhi permintaan ekspor. Permasalahannya, tidak semua agroindustri dapat memenuhi hal tersebut. Salah satu cara yang dapat ditempuh untuk meningkatkan kompetensi adalah melalui pelatihan agar kinerja pegawai meningkat secara bersamaan; ini ditetapkan sebagai tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan secara signifikan meningkatkan kompetensi dan kinerja karyawan, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, meningkatkan kinerja melalui peningkatan kompetensi. Pelatihan harus sistematis, mulai dari materi yang dibutuhkan, metode yang digunakan dan kemampuan instruktur. Kompetensi yang meningkat adalah keterampilan esensial, konsep diri, pengalaman dan pengetahuan. Intercropping and farmer income: a case study of onion farmers in Tawangmangu
Onion farmers in Tawangmangu are currently experiencing difficulties due to changes in rainfall. As a result, they are planting garlic and then intercropping with shallots. This decision will have a direct impact on farmers' income. This study aims to determine the effect of farmers' decisions in intercropping garlic with shallots on farmers' income in the Tawangmangu District. This research was conducted in Tawangmangu District with a simple random sampling method to determine the sample size of 49 respondents. The method of data analysis used a two-stage least square. The decision to intercrop shallot and garlic does not affect farmers' income. The age of the farmer influences the decision to do intercropping. A farmer's income is influenced by land area and the use of Phonska fertilizer. MAXIMIZATION OF GROWTH AND YIELD OF CAYENNE PEPPER WITH TEA LEAF DREGS COMPOST
Fertilization is needed by plants, including cayenne pepper. Organic fertilizers have advantages because of the complete composition of nutrients. Tea leaf dregs which is an organic fertilizer that contains a number of nutrients that are quite good for cayenne pepper plants. This study aims to determine the effect of tea leaf dregs compost on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper. The research was carried out in Beji village, East Ungaran, Semarang district from February to June 2017 with latosol soil type. The design used was a single factor completely randomized design with 18 replications. The levels were without tea leaf dregs compost, doses of tea leaf dregs compost were 10, 20, 30, and 40 tons/ha. The results showed that the most productive branches were at a dose of tea leaf dregs compost of 20 tons/ha, dry weight of stover 40 tons/ha, fruit weight per plant 30 tons/ha, and flowering age 20 tons/ha and harvest age 30 tons/ha. The conclusion of this study was that tea leaf dregs compost increased the number of productive branches, dry weight of stover and fruit weight per plant, and accelerated flowering and harvesting ages. The implication of this research is that the cultivation of cayenne pepper should use tea leaf dregs compost at a dose of 30 tons/ha
