Technology Transfer, Anthropotechnology and Sustainable Development: How Do the Themes Relate?
This article aims to develop a relationship between the themes technology transfer, sustainable development and anthropotechnology. For this, a systematic literature review was carried out, using the Methodi Ordinatio methodology, resulting in a portfolio of articles with scientific relevance, which was a source for data collection and analysis. As a result, it was observed that the three themes are related, generating benefits, since, based on anthropotechnology, some barriers, such as human and lack of adaptation, can be anticipated and dealt with, allowing the transfer of technology to occur effectively. In addition, anthropotechnology generates social benefits, by facilitating technological development adapted to the population receiving the technology. Technology transfer, in turn, is a means of implementing sustainable development. Thus, aligning your goals; flow and technology with sustainable objectives, will promote beneficial results not only for the economic, but also environmental and social axis
Industrial Policy and the Development of the Electric Vehicles Industry: The Case of Korea
The Korean government has stimulated R&D activities of the electric vehicle (EV) industry and promoted commercialization of EVs. Korea’s EV industry developed rapidly. The industrial policy to promote the EV industry provides implications to the automobile producers. First, producers not developing EV technologies may lag behind in the market. Second, it is important to improve the efficiency of their R&D expenditures. Third, it may be effective for the less advanced EV producers to cooperate with foreign producers. Fourth, the EV producers are needed to cooperate with the rechargeable battery producers. Fifth, success of the EV industry will depend on the probability of reducing the production cost. Sixth, the government should prepare R&D support measures targeting promotion of SMEs in the EV industry. Seventh, the government wishing to promote the EV industry needs to define the responsibility of each Ministry and establish a system resolving conflicts between the Ministries efficiently
Mediating Effect of Management Control Systems in The Interaction Between Ambidexterity and Organizational Learning in Brazilian NPO
This paper investigates the mediating effect of management control systems in the interaction between ambidexterity and organizational learning in Brazilian non-profit organizations. Organizational learning is addressed in the literature as an antecedent of ambidexterity, whereas the use of management control systems finds dichotomous evidence in the literature as to its effect concerning those previous constructs. This descriptive research with a quantitative approach was carried out through a survey. The research sample comprised 227 valid responses collected from the presidents of the organizations. This work reveals the positive relationship between organizational learning and ambidexterity, as well as observing that the use of management control systems tends to inhibit innovation through a mediating effect. The approach of these constructs in nonprofit environments contributes to the need for sustainability of these organizations. Findings highlight the innovative panorama of these organizations between exploitation and exploration strategies and the achievement of ambidextrous skills, also pointing out the use of management control systems, as well as the evidence of organizational learning
Characterization of Best Practices for Customer/Supplier Collaboration in Co-innovation Projects
High market competitiveness and a lack of internal resources and knowledge make companies increasingly interested in open innovation, being the collaborative innovation projects with suppliers one of the most widely used initiatives. However, the collaborative process is difficult to manage given the diversity of factors to consider when mixing different organizational cultures, resources, competencies, and experiences. One way to support the process is through the management of related good practices. Therefore, based on a review of the literature and international standards on open innovation or collaboration, this document identifies five dimensions and 18 practices of the customer-suppliercollaborative innovation process. The identification of these good practices allows the characterization of the customer/supplier collaboration process in innovation projects and allows the establishment of a reference framework for the creation of an evaluation mode

Impact Assessment of Information and Communication Technologies in Agriculture: : Application of The Ambitec-TICs Method
An extraordinary moment of agricultural modernization is currently underway due to innovations in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). In this process, management precepts are renewed, fostering significant gains in efficiency, productivity, and sustainable use of natural resources and the environment. The growing supply of ICTs and the extension of connectivity in rural areas, with their transforming roles in productive practices and economic relations, bring about questions regarding their impacts. These technologies include precision positioning systems and large volume databases, electronic sensors of site-specific production and environmental conditions, repositories of relational data, statistical and crop forecasting software, methodologies and processes; web-based information services, among others. The assessment of impacts focused on ICTs for agriculture needs innovative approaches, due to the peculiarities of their applications, the different scales of their socioenvironmental scopes and, at the same time, the verification of effectiveness of institutional investments on research, development, and innovation (RD&I). Based on these premises, the objectives of this work are to present a ‘module of impact indicators for Information and Communication Technologies (Ambitec-TICs)’, and assess its application to six typical technology adoption cases resulting from agricultural RD&I projects. The results detail critical analyses of the contributions of the proposed module for the registration, interpretation, and communication of impacts, with recommendations for technology transfer and accountability in institutional Social Balance documentation

The purpose of this study is to examine how online reviews from other users in a tourism service website generate emotions and cognitions that contribute to the formation of the image of a tourism service. We used a real website of a rural destination as a tourism service. We tested the proposed conceptual model using structural equation modeling. Our results show a correspondence between consumers’ thoughts and the cognitive dimension of image, as well as between the emotions expressed by subjects and the affective dimension of image. Results confirm that the image of a tourism service is an important predictor of tourism service preferences. This overall image influences consumers\u27 future intentions, not only to buy the service but also to recommend it to other consumers. In summary, we propose and test a model that shows how online reviews significantly influence image formation and subsequent consumer behaviors. To date, little is known about to what extent online reviews are useful to generate cognitive and emotional responses in potential tourists. Consequently, understanding its role in a tourist\u27s decision making process, and assessing the relationships between utility of online reviews, emotions, cognitions and image towards the tourism service will make both scientific and practical contributions. While contributing to the body of knowledge on image formation process, our results are also relevant for public administrations and tourism marketing managers
REVISIÓN SISTEMÁTICA DE LA LITERATURA SOBRE EL CONCEPTO DE SOCIEDAD CIVIL EN EL MARCO DE LA CUADRUPLE HELICE
The literature has shown the importance of incorporating civil society into the regional innovation system to favor companies\u27 long-term growth. This research aims to carry out a systematic review on the definition and classification of society in the innovation model based on the contexts that relate to the university, business, and government. The results show that the concept of civil society has been approached in the literature from four perspectives: demand-side, media and culture, independent non-profit, and intermediary organizations. These results may help clarify the concept of civil society, having significant implications for academics and companies, and regional innovation agencies that promote the participation of civil society in their innovation systems.
The Role of Absorptive Capacity in Innovation and Productivity in Chilean Companies: An Adapted CDM Model Across Industries
Drawing on an adapted CDM model, we present evidence on the role of strategic and operational absorptive capacity on innovation and productivity across industries in developing economies. Using a pooled cross-sectional sample from Chilean innovation surveys, we find that greater absorptive capacity (ACAP) helps firms to increase their innovative investment and the probability of producing technological innovations, which then increases firms’ labor productivity. Additionally, the effect of the strategic dimension is stronger than the operational dimension aspect, which means that the strategy of reaching these external sources might be more important than the skill of a firm´ internal units to acquire and transform external information. We find that while strategic ACAP is a stronger predictor of investment and technological innovation in both manufacturing and services companies, but operational ACAP has differing effects
SERVQUAL Model with Interrelated Dimensions. The Case of The Pharmacy in Mexico
This research is focused on understanding the interrelation between the different dimen- sions of the SERVQUAL model in the pharmaceutical area, which have differences in per- ceptions of service domains depending on the cultures in which they are immersed.
To study the proposed relationships, we collect data of 100 pharmacy customers of Mex- ico and use SEM to test the relationship between SERVQUAL dimensions, purchase fre- quency, gender, and quality perception.
Our results show that the SERVQUAL dimensions are interrelated, SERVQUAL dimen- sions and gender predict the perception of quality but not the purchase frequency. These results provide key information in order to understand in a better way the service quality in the pharmaceutical area.
We develop a theoretical framework that is based on interrelationships between the dif- ferent dimensions of SERVQUAL, assuming that they are not independent of each other. This way of understanding SERVQUAL dimensions can provide relevant information to un- derstand better how individual perceptions affect the service quality in the pharmaceutical area.
