    ABSTRACTColletotrichum musae (Berk and Curt.) Arx. is a pathogen that causes anthracnose disease in bananas. Biological control is an alternative because it is friendly to the environment and reduces the negative impact of synthetic pesticides. The objective of this study was to obtain yeast isolates from bananas potentially used as biocontrol agents. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture Faculty of University of Tanjungpura Pontianak from September 2017 to February 2018. All the obtained yeast isolates were tested as antagonistic potential against C. musae through dual culture method and viability test of conidia C. musae. The hypovirulent test of yeast isolates that have potential as biocontrol agents are carried out on cucumber. The isolation result obtained 9 isolates of yeast. Based on antagonistic test, yeast isolates had inhibition between 53,42-78,67%. Viability test of conidia C. musae on media that has been shed in yeast cells as much as 106 cells/mL one day earlier showed that conidia still germinate 97.5-100%. Calculation of Severity Index of Disease in hypovirulent test for all isolates of yeast showed 0%. Keywords: antagonist, Colletotrichum musae, hypovirulen, spore germination, yeas

    This study aims to obtain the composition of alluvial soil and oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) compost that provides the best growth of pepper cuttings. This research was conducted  in Parit Demang village, South Pontianak. This study  start from February 25th, 2018 to May 25th, 2018. This study used an experimental method with a Complete Randomized Design pattern (CRD) it’s a dose of OPEFB compost with 4 levels treatment, each treatment consists of 6 replication and consisting of 10 sample plants. The first treatment alluvial soil composition : OPEFB compost (1:0), second treatment alluvial soil composition : OPEFB (1:1), third treatment alluvial soil composition : OPFB compost (1:2) and fourth treatment alluvial soil composition : OPEFB compost (1:3). Variables observed is: percentage of live seed (%), shoots length (cm), number of shoots per plants (unit), number of  leaves (strand), roots volume (cm3), dry weight of shoots (gram) and dry weight of roots (gram). Based on the results of research on the composition of alluvial soil media: 1:2 OPEFB compost and alluvial soil media: 1:3 OPEFB compost gives the same good growth on pepper cuttings.     Pengaruh POC Kotoran Ayam terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Kailan Hidroponik

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh POC                         (Pupuk Organik Cair) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kailan hidroponik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan enam perlakuan dan empat ulangan dan masing – masing ulangan terdiri dari 3 sampel tanaman.        Total dari seluruh sampel penelitian adalah 72 tanaman. Perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah p0 (10 ml/ liter air larutan nutrisi AB Mix), p1 (200 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), p2 (250 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), p3 (300 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), p4 (350 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam), dan p5 (400 ml/ liter air POC kotoran ayam). Variabel pengamatan yaitu volume akar, luas daun, berat kering, jumlah daun dan berat segar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC kotoran ayam tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel, yaitu volume akar, luas daun, berat kering, jumlah daun dan berat segar tanaman.                                                                                          Kata Kunci : hidroponik, kailan, POC kotoran ayam

    IDENTIFIKASI SIFAT FISIKA TANAH ULTISOLSPADA DUA TIPE PENGGUNAAN LAHAN DI DESA BETENUNG KECAMATAN NANGA TAYAP KABUPATEN KETAPANGVeromika Meli (1) , Saeri Sagiman (2) , Sutarman Gafur (2)Mahasiswa (1) dan Staf Pengajar (2)Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura PontianakABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan sifat fisika tanah pada kebun karet dan kelapa sawit di Desa Betenung Kecamatan Nanga Tayap Kabupaten Ketapang. Pengambilan sampel tanah dilakukan secara diagonal pada dua vegetasi yang berbeda dengan cara tiga pengambilan sampel tanah yaitu pengambilan sampel tanah utuh, sampel tanah agregat utuh dan contoh tanah terganggu. Titik pengamatan sampel tanah di ambil pada kebun karet dan kelapa sawit dengan kedalaman 0-30 cm dan 30-60 cm.Hasil penelitan menunjukan profil warna tanah pada kebun karet terdapat dua lapisan warna tanah yaitu 7,5YR 3/3 coklat gelap dan 7,5YR 6/8 kuning kemerahan, sedangkan pengamatan profil warna tanah pada perkebun kelapa sawit terdapat dua lapisan warna tanah yang berbeda juga, lapisan pertama 7,5YR 4/6 coklat gelap, lapisan kedua 7,5YR 6/8 kuning kemerahan. Struktur tanah kebun karet dengan kedalaman lapisan I struktur tanahnya remah, lapisan II dan III dengan struktur gumpal membulat sedangkan pada kebun kelapa sawit dengan kedalaman lapisan I berstruktur remah, lapisan II berstruktur gumpal bersudut dan lapisan ke III struktur tanahnya gumpal membulat. Tekstur tanah pada kebun karet kedalaman 0-30 cm dan 30-60 cm termaksuk lempung dan lempung berliat sedangkan tekstur tanah pada kebun kelapa sawit dengan kedalaman 0-30 cm dan 30-60 cm memiliki persamaan yaitu termasuk lempung liat berdebu.Hasil uji t bobot isi tanah pada kebun karet dan kelapa sawit pada kedalaman 0-30cm menunjukan berbeda tidak nyata sedangkan kedalaman 30-60 cm, berbeda nyata sementara hasil uji t kadar air kapasitas lapangan pada kebun karet dan kelapa sawit dengan kedalaman 0-30 cm dan 30-60cm menunjukan berbeda tidak nyata. Hasil uji t porositas tanah kebun karet dan kelapa sawit kedalaman 0-30 dan 30-60 cm menunjukan berbeda tidak nyata. Sementara hasil uji t permeabilitas tanah pada kebun karet dan kelapa sawit dengan kedalaman 0-30 cm dan 30-60 cm berbeda tidak nyata. Kemantapan agregat tanah lebih tinggi pada kebun kelapa sawit dibandingkan dengan hutan karet baik itu kedalaman 0-30 cm maupun 30-60 cm. Sementara hasil analisis bahan organik pada kebun karet dan kelapa sawit tergolong rendah baik itu pada kedalaman 0-30 cm maupun 30-60 cm, N-total rendah, dan C/N rasio rendah serta reaksi tanah (pH) masam.Kata kunci : Ultisols, Sifat Fisika Tanah, Kebun Karet dan Kelapa Sawit

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan budaya kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan bagian pengolahan kelapa sawit di PT. Cipta Usaha Sejati Kabupaten Kayong Utara, dalam penelitian ini  lingkungan kerja dan budaya kerja merupakan variabel bebas dan yang menjadi variabel terikat adalah kinerja karyawan. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus, yaitu teknik pengambilan sampelnya seluruh anggota populasi yang dijadikan sampel, hal ini dilakukan karena jumlah populasi relatif kecil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan budaya kerja secara bersama- sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, secara parsial variabel independen lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan sedangkan variabel independen budaya kerja berpengaruh negatif. Kata Kunci : Lingkungan Kerja, Budaya Kerja dan Kinerja Karyawan.

    PENGARUH KOMPOSISI MEDIA TANAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BAWANG DAYAK

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari komposisi media tanam yang paling baik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang dayak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan yang berada di Desa Kuala Ambawang Kecamatan Sungai Ambawang Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Penelitian ini dimulai dari tanggal 26 Maret 2018 sampai 17 Juni 2018. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan terdiri dari 6 taraf yaitu (A= Tanah Alluvial : Pupuk Kandang Ayam (1:1), B = Tanah Alluvial : Pasir (1:1), C= Tanah Alluvial : Pupuk Kandang Ayam : Pasir (1:1:1), D= Tanah Alluvial : Pupuk Kandang Ayam : Pasir (2:1:1) E= Tanah Alluvial : Pupuk Kandang Ayam : Pasir (1:2:1) dan F= Tanah Alluvial : Pupuk Kandang Ayam : Pasir (1:1:2) dan perlakuan ini diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh komposisi media tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun 4, 6, 8, 10 dan 12 MST, jumlah umbi, berat basah umbi dan berat kering angin umbi namun berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah daun 2 MST dan tinggi tanaman 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 dan 12 MST. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh komposisi media tanam 1 tanah alluvial : 1 pupuk kandang ayam : 1 pasir menunjukkan rata-rata pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik untuk tanaman bawang dayak.Kata Kunci : Bawang Dayak, Komposisi, Media Tana

    This study aims to get the best cow urine concentration for the growth of red betel cuttings. Research has been carried out in Kucipu hamlet, RT 11/06, Capkala village, subdistrictCapkala, Bengkayang district. This research was conducted from March 1 to May 31 2018. The experimental method used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) repeated 3 times and each experiment consisted of 5 plant samples. The variables observed in the study were shoot length, number of leaves, number of roots, number of buds, fresh weight of buds, and root volume. The results showed that the with a of cow urine with a concentration of 200 ml/l was the best concentration for the number of leaves, while for root volume, the number of roots, the number of shoots, dan the length of the shoot, given and not given cow urine showed the same growth.     RESPONSE OF MAIZE VARIETIES TO LIMING ON FLUVAQUENTS   Fitria sari 1), Rini Susana 2),Maulidi 2),Basuni 2) 1)University student and 2)Lecturer Study Program of Agrotecnology Facultyof Agriculture Tanjungpura University ABSTRACT This study aims to investigate the response of corn to plant varieties of lime. Research conducted at the Desa Parit Canggek snapper Kubu Raya regency in West Kalimantan. The method used in this research is of split plot design using randomized complete block. The treatment consists of the main plots (lime) with three levels (k1 = 0,8 kg /subplot is equivalent to 1 ton/ha, k2 = 1,6 kg /subplot equivalent of 2 ton/ha and k3 = 2,4 kg/subplot equivalent to 3 ton/ha) and subplots (varieties) with 2 levels (v1 = Sukmaraga and v2 = Bima 7), thus there are six treatment combinations, each treatment replicated 3 times. The variables observed in this study were plant height, dry weight, cob length, cob diameter, cob weight, weight of 1000 seeds and dry seed weight/plot. The results showed that the lime and the interaction of lime and varieties maize was not significant effect to all the variables of observation, whereas varieties have significant effect on plant height, dry weight of the upper part of plant, cob diameter, weight of 1000 seeds but there is no significant effect noticeable to the length of the cob, cob weight and dry seed weight/ plot. Sukmaraga significantly different with the Bima 7 on plant height, dry weight, cob diameter and weight of 1000 seeds. Keywords: Fluvaquents, Lime, Maiz

     Blast is important disease of rice, and it caused by Pyricularia oryzae Cav. Synthetic fungicide in plant disease control may have negative impacts, so another alternative is needed. Yeast can used as a biocontrol agent. This research aims to investigate the potential of the yeast from leaf phyllosphere of rice paddy as biocontrol agent against P. oryzae. This research  was consisted of yeast exploration, isolation and filtrate antagonistic inhibition essay to P. oryzae, and yeast growth respon due to temperature. Ten isolates successfully obtained and tested as antagonist to P. oryzae. Five isolates, YLP05; YLP07; YLP08; YLP09; YLP10, have percentage inhibition more than 30% at 3 dai (day after incubation) dan more than 50% at 7 dai, but their filtrate had not shown any inhibition activity.  The five isolates had been formed colony on 1st day at 30°C.  Based on diameter and percentage of forming colony, the optimal temperature is different for each yeast isolates. Four isolates which can still grow at 20-40oC those are YPL05, YLP07, YLP09, and, YLP10

    This research was motivated by good prospect of rice commodity to increase income of farmer at Harapan Mulia village. The purpose of the research is to find out income level difference between rain containing rice field farmer that is member of farmer group and the rain containing rice field farmer that is not member of farmer group at Harapan Mulia village. Populations of the research are rain containing rice field farmer that is member and outsider of farmer group at Harapan Mulia village, with respondent 36 people of farmer group and 20 people that is not farmer group member. Analysis used is comparative independent sample t test.
