ANALISIS RISIKO HARGA DAN PENDAPATAN USAHA PEMOTONGAN AYAM RAS PEDAGING DI KOTA PONTIANAK
ABSTRAKUsaha Pemotongan Ayam (UPA) menjadi sektor yang penting mengingat produksi daging ayam broiler yang terus meningkat. Tujuan peneltian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat risiko yang dihadapi pengusaha rumah potong ayam di Kota Pontianak. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode populasi, yaitu sebanyak 51 pengusaha rumah potong ayam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis coefficient variation untuk mengetahui tingkat risiko, risiko yang ingin dilihat adalah risiko harga dan pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pendapatan pengusaha pada bulan september lebih tinggi dibandingkan bulan lainya dengan (CV) sebesar 64,26%, risiko harga jual paling tinggi adalah bulan november dengan nilai (CV) sebesar 2,88%. Bervariasinya tingkat risiko setiap bulan dikarenakan bervariasinya harga jual dan harga beli. Kata Kunci: usaha rumah potong ayam, risiko harga, risiko pendapata
PENGARUH KOMBINASI NUTRISI AB MIX DAN PUPUK GANDASIL D TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL PEPPERMINT SECARA HIDROPONIK
This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of AB-Mix nutrition and Gandasil D fertilizer on the growth and yield of peppermint in hydroponics and obtain the best concentration of a combination of AB-Mix nutrition and Gandasil D fertilizer on the growth and yield of peppermint hydroponically. This research was conducted in Roban Village, Singkawang Tengah District, Singkawang City. It was starting from April 21, 2018 to June 8, 2018. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which consisted of 6 treatments and 4 replications of each treatment consisting of 3 samples, so that there were 72 plants. The treatment in question is, a1: AB-Mix 75% + Gandasil D 2 g / l, a2: AB-Mix 75% + Gandasil D 4 g / l, a3: AB-Mix 75% + Gandasil D 6 g / l, a4: AB-Mix 50% + Gandasil D 4 g / l, a5: AB-Mix 50% + Gandasil D 6 g / l, a6: AB-Mix 50% + Gandasil D 8 g / l. Observation variables included the root volume (cm3), plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf chlorophyll (spad unit), fresh weight of the upper part of the plant (g), dry weight of the upper part of the plant (g). The results showed that the combination of AB-Mix nutrition and Gandasil D fertilizer could increase the growth and yield of peppermint hydroponically on the variable root volume, number of leaves, fresh weight of the upper part of the plant, top dry weight of plants and combination treatment of nutrients AB-Mix 75% + Gandasil D 2 g / l is an efficient dose to produce fresh weight in the upper part of the peppermint plant hydroponically. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF NEEM OIL Azadirachta indica AGAINST Plutella xylostella LEAF CATERPILLAR ON CABBAGE PLANTS
ABSRTACT Increased production of cabbage plants is often faced with pest problems. Leaf caterpillar Plutella xylostella L. (Lepidoptera: Plutellidae) is a major pest of cabbage plants and if not controlled can decrease both the amount and quality. The use of botanical insecticides is an alternative to controlling P. xylostella insect pests. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of neem oil on P. xylostella pests on cabbage plants. The research was conducted in Subdistrict Rasau Jaya, District Kubu Raya, for 4 months. The research design using Randomized Block Design with 8 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment consisted of 5 levels of neem oil concentration, 2 levels of synthetic insecticides and control. Data analysis using ANOVA was continued by Duncan Mutiple Range Test at 5%. The results showed that the efficacy of neem oil with concentrations of 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 ml / l of water against (population of P. xylostella larvae and damage caused by P. xylostella) after application of (76,1% and 43,1%), (66,1% and 23,7%), (66,4% and 31,2%), (68,2% and 22,8%), and (76,2% and 56,5%). Neem oil at concentrations of 20, 30 and 40 ml / l of water exhibit phytotoxicity symptoms.Key words: effectiveness, botanical insecticides, cabbage, neem oil, P. xylostella
Vegetative Phase Morphology Characterization of Local Rice From Paloh Distrit Sambas Regency
Lokal rice is potential germplasm used as genetic source for assembly of better varieties in plant breeding programs. This research aims to obtain character information and genetic relationship vegetative phase of some local rice from Paloh District, Sambas Regency. This research was held in Danau Sentarum Street, Pontianak. This research used completely rendomized design (CRD) consisted of 7 treatments, that are V1 = Ringkak Barkat local rice, V2 = Ringkak Talok local rice, V3 = Mensere local rice, V4 = Ringkak Herman local rice, V5 = Siam Wangi local rice, V6 = Serawak local rice, V7 = Ringkak Ondot local rice. Each treatment was repeated 3 time and consisted of 10 samples. This research has been obtain 14 vegetative phase characters of local rice from Paloh District, Sambas Regency, that are seeding height, ligule shape, leaf surface, leaf attitude, flag leaf attitude, collar color, auricle color, leaf blade color, leaf sheath color, ligule color, leaf length, leaf width, childbearing, and plant height. The closest genetic relationship was Siam Wangi and Ringkak Barkat local rice with 100% similarity level, while the farthest genetic relationship was Ringkak Talok and Mensere lokal rice with 69,1% similarity level. keywords: characterization, genetic relationship, local ric
EVALUASI KESESUAIAN LAHAN UNTUK TANAMAN KELAPA SAWIT DI DESA ENGKASAN KECAMATAN TAYAN HULU KABUPATEN SANGGAU
Land evaluation is the process of assessing the potential of the land for specific uses. Land is a medium used for an activity in the field of agriculture or natural resources and at the same major agrarian resources that are essential for support lives and livelihoods of people on earth. This study aims to determine the level/grade suitability of land for oil palm plantations and attempt to provide management recommendations. Results of land evaluation, whether the results obtained from the field and the results of laboratory analysis results will provide information and guidance necessary land use and finally value of production expectations increased. The research was conducted in the village of Engkasan Tayan Hulu subdistrict Sanggau district with an area of 100 hectares. Analysis of soil samples carried out in the Laboratory of Chemistry and Soil Fertility Faculty of Agriculture, University Tanjungpura Pontianak. The study started from April 2015 until the end of April 2016. The research was conducted by survey method using a grid system. Implementation of the research include: 1) Preparation, consisting of cartography topography of the site of research, collecting secondary data research sites and tools and materials used, 2) field observations, consisting of drilling and profiling of land, 3) Analysis soil samples in the laboratory, 4) Analysis and compilation of data, which consists of determining ratings soil chemical properties, determining the nomenclature of land, determination of land suitability classes, determination of the limiting factors of land, 5) Interpretation of the data and presenting the results, the data obtained in the field associated with the results of the analysis in the laboratory. The interpretation of field data and analysis in the laboratory showed that among the sites there are 4 Soil Mapping Unit, but it has one type of soil and is classified into the Order Ultisol, Sub-order Udik, Great-group Kandiudults, Sub-order Typic Kandiudults with epipedon ocric and horizon diagnostic kandik. Soil Mapping Unit 1 has a land suitability classes S3-n (nutrient status) actual and potential land suitability classes S1, Soil Mapping Unit 2 has a land suitability classes S3-ns (slope and nutrient status) actual and potential land suitability classes S1, Soil Mapping Unit 3 has the actual land suitability classes N1-s (slope). N1-s (slope) can not do so any improvement potential land suitability classes Soil Mapping Unit remain N1-s (slope) 3 and Soil Mapping Unit 4 has the actual land suitability classes N2-s (slope). N2-s (slope) can not do so any improvement potential land suitability classes Soil Mapping Unit remain N2-s (slope). Recommended management consists of organic materials recommendation, liming, fertilizing and terracing. The results of the lime requirement calculations amounted to 0.5344 ton / mgCa (CO3) 2 / ha, the result of calculation of P and K fertilizer demand respectively 159.8 kg / ha SP36 and 130 kg / ha KCl. IDENTIFIKASI POTENSI LAHAN PERTANIAN MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS DAN PENGINDERAAN JAUH DI KECAMATAN NANGA TAYAP KABUPATEN KETAPANG
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan peranan Sistem Informasi Geografis dalam penentuan Indeks Potensi Lahan dan mengetahui kelas Indeks Potensi Lahan yang digunakan lahan pertanian di Kecamatan Nanga Tayap. Metode yang digunakan dalam penentuan nilai Indeks Potensi Lahan adalah pengharkatan (skoring) dan tumpang susun (overlay) terhadap masing – masing parameter. Parameter Indeks Potensi Lahan meliputi Topografi, Litologi, Jenis Tanah, Hidrogeologi sebagai parameter pendukung dan Tingkat Bahaya Erosi sebagai parameter pembatas. Nilai Indeks Potensi Lahan yang telah diperoleh, kemudian di-overlay dengan lahan pertanian untuk memperoleh Nilai Indeks Potensi Lahan khusus pada lahan pertanian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Kecamatan Nanga Tayap memiliki lahan pertanian seluas 79.590,59 ha atau 46,06 % dari luas Kecamatan yaitu 172.800 ha. Indeks Potensi Lahan terbagi atas 5 kelas, yaitu : kelas I ( Sangat Tinggi ), Kelas II ( Tinggi ), Kelas III ( Sedang ), Kelas IV ( Rendah ), Kelas V ( Sangat Rendah). Kelas Indeks Potensi Lahan paling luas yang digunakan lahan pertanian di Kecamatan Nanga Tayap berada pada kelas IV, yaitu sebesar 33.058,96 ha atau 19,13 %, kelas III seluas 20.144,07 ha atau 11,66 %, kelas II seluas 14.465,46 ha atau 8,37 %, kelas I seluas 11.560,68 ha atau 6,69 %, dan kelas V seluas 361,42 ha atau 0,21 %. PENGARUH JUMLAH BIBIT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN PADI VARIETAS CILOSARI DI LAHAN KERING KECAMATAN SEJANGKUNG KABUPATEN SAMBAS Ihsan1), Radian2), dan Maulidi2)Mahasiswa1) dan Dosen Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura2) ABSTRAKTanaman Padi ( Oryza sativa L. ) merupakan tanaman pangan utama di Indonesia karena sebagian besar penduduk Indonesia menjadikan beras sebagai sumber makanan pokok. Tanaman padi ialah tanaman pangan yang sering dibudidayakan oleh petani di Kalimantan Barat khususnya di Kabupaten Sambas, tetapi produksi padi yang dibudidayakan masih tergolong rendah yang disebabkan beberapa faktor seperti : pemberian pupuk yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan, pengendalian hama dan penyakit yang tidak maksimal, sistem pertanian padi yang tidak berubah, penggunaan jumlah bibit yang tidak diperhitungkan dalam setiap lubang tanamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa jumlah bibit padi varietas cilosari yang terbaik per lubang tanam di lahan kering Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 September 2016 sampai dengan 26 Januari 2017 Di Desa Penakalan Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari 7 perlakuan yaitu b1 (menggunakan 1 bibit per lubang tanam), b2 (5 bibit per lubang tanam), b3 (10 bibit per lubang tanam), b4 (15 bibit per lubang tanam), b5 (20 bibit per lubang tanam), b6 (25 bibit per lubang tanam), b7 (30 bibit per lubang tanam). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi : Tinggi tanaman (Cm), Jumlah Anakan per Rumun (Batang), Jumlah Anakan Produktif (Batang), Jumlah Gabah per Malai (Butir), Hasil Gabah per Petak (Kg), Berat 1000 Butir Gabah (Gram), Persentase Gabah Isi (%), Kerapatan Malai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Jumlah bibit padi varietas cilosari di lahan kering Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah anakan per rumpun tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif, kerapatan malai, jumlah gabah per malai, persentase gabah isi sedangkan yang berpengaruh tidak nyata adalah perlakuan tinggi tanaman, hasil gabah per petak dan berat 1000 butir gabah. Hasil pengamatan dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bibit sebanyak 5 batang per lubang tanam merupakan perlakuan yang paling baik di lahan kering Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas dengan mendapatkan hasil 2,26 kg. THE EFFECT OF NUMBER OF SEEDS ON PRODUCE AND GROWT OF CILOSARI VARIETIES IN DRY LAND AT SEJANGKUNG DISTRICT OF SAMBAS REGENCY Ihsan1), Radian2) and Maulidi2)Student1) and Lecturer of Agriculture Faculty Tanjungpura University2) ABSTRACTRice (Oryza sativa L) is one of the crops that become the main staple food in indonesia because the most of indonesian’s population brings rice as the source of the main staple food. The rice is a crop that ciltivated freduently by the farmer in West Borneo especially in Sambas regency, but the rice production that had been cultivated still included into poor level in which caused of some factors, that is : unsuitable fertilizing with necessary, pest and disease controling is not maximum, the traditional agricultural system is not chang by the time, the utilization of seed quantity that is not calculated in each planting hole. This reserch’s purpose is to find out how much the best quantity of cilosari varietas seed planting hole in dry land at Sejangkung District, of Sambas Regency. This research conducted on 15th September 2016 to 26th January 2017 in Penakalan Village, Sejangkung District of Sambas Regency by using Randomized Block Design (RAK) consists of 7 treatments, that is : b1(using 1 seed planting hole), b2 (5 seeds planting hole), b3 (10 seeds planting hole), b4 (15 seeds planting hole), b5 (20 seeds planting hole), b6 ( 25 seeds planting hole), b7 (30 seeds planting hole). Each treatments repeated three times. The variabel that observed in this research includes : Planting height (cm), the number of tiller per chill (rice straw), the number of productive tiller (rice straw), the number of grain per panicle (grain), the produce of grain per paddy field (kg), the weight of 1000 grains of grain (gram), grain’s percentage (%), panicle density. Based on the result of this reserch, the quantity of cilosari varietas seed in dry land at Sejangkung District of Sambas Regency had the real effect on the number of tiller per hill. The number of productive tiller, panicle density, the number of grain per panicle, grains persentage. Although, the unreal effect on planting treatment, the produce of grain per paddy field, and the weight of 1000 grains of grain. The result of observation showed that the utilazation of seed as many as 5 rice straw per planting hole is the best treatment in dry land at Sejangkung District of Sambas Regency and got the result 2,26 kg. IDENTIFICATION OF LAND CHARACTERISTICS IN DRAGON FRUITS PLANTS (Hylocerreus undatus)
This study aims to identify land characteristics (soil physical characteristics and soil chemistry). Identifying land characteristics for dragon fruit plants (Hylocerreus undatus) and explaining land characteristics based on soil and plant observation parameters.This research was conducted in Purun Besar Village, Segedong District, Mempawah Regency. Then followed by conducting soil analysis at Soil Chemistry and Soil Fertility Laboratory, Soil Physics and Soil Conservation Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University Pontianak. The research method starts from preparation, field survey, soil analysis in the laboratory, data interpretation, and presentation of results. The parameters observed in this study are divided into 2 parts: field observation and laboratory analysis. Parameters in the field are groundwater depth (cm), rooting medium, soil maturity, soil structure, sulfidic depth, surface rock and rock outcrop. The parameters in the laboratory are C-Organic (%), Cation Exchange Capacity (cmol (+) kg-1), N-Total (%), P content available (ppm), K-dd content (cmol (+) kg-1 ), soil reaction (pH), Al saturation, salinity, soil texture, plant height, number of branches in stem and data processing and potential land analysis. EVALUASI KESESUAIAN LAHAN UNTUK TANAMAN PADI DI DESA PAK UTAN KECAMATAN TOHO KABUPATEN MEMPAWAH
ABSTRAKEvaluasi lahan merupakan suatu proses pendugaan potensi dari sebidang lahan untuk suatu macam pengunaan yang telah di pertimbangkan serta menerapkan alternatif pengunaan lahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor pembatas kesesuaian lahan menentukan kelas kesesuaian lahan inceptisol aktual, potensial dan merekomendasikan dosis pupuk tanaman padi di Desa Pak Utan kecamatan Toho Kabupaten Mempawah. menunjukan bahwa kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman Padi tersebut memiliki kesesuaian lahan aktual sesuai marginal dengan faktor pembatas retensi hara (S3-n).Upaya evaluasi kesesuaian lahan perlu didukung dengan pemberian rekomendasi pemupukan, Bahan Organik, dan tata air.Sedangkan untuk kesesuaian lahan Potensial untuk SPT 1 dan 2, sangat sesuai, lahan tidak mempunyai pembatas yang besar untuk pengelolaan yang diberikan dengan faktor pembatas (S1).Kata kunci Evaluasi kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman Padi, Desa Pak Uta
SOIL MICROORGANISMS ACTIVITY ON SEVERAL TYPES LAND USE IN THE VILLAGE OF PELEMPAI JAYA, SUBDISRTICT OF ELLA HILIR DISTRICT OF MELAWI
The aim of this research is to study soil mircoorganisms population and their activities (especially bacteria and fungi) on several types of land use namely rubber and palm oil plantation, mixed farming and upland rice field. The research was conducted on Juni 2016 until Agustus 2016. Soil samples were collected from Pelempai Jaya Village of Ella Hilir Subdistrict, District of Melawi. Soil analysis were conducted in the Biology and Soil Biotechnology Laboratory and Chemical and Soil Fertility Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University. The parameters observed were soil microorganims activity, soil microorganisms population, soil pH, C-organic, total N, C/N ratio, soil bulk density, soil texture and soil water content. The results showed that the types of land use caused a significant different in both activity and the number of soil microorganisms. Actvity and soil microorganisms population highest in rubber plantation (28,12 CO2/100 g/day and 5,062 x 106 CFU g-1). Activity and soil microorganisms population lowest in upland rice field (776 CO2/100 g/day 6 x 105 CFU g-1).
