THE EFFECTIVENESS OF FORMULATED-MIX OF IPA GLYPHOSATE + METSULFURON METHIL HERBICIDE TO Ageratum conyzoides L. WEED
The effectiveness of using herbicides can be improved by using mixed herbicides. The purpose of this study was to study the effectiveness the mixture of a IPA glyphosate + methulfuron methyl with two ratios of 24:1 and 36:1 against Ageratum conyzoides weeds. The study was conducted in Experimental Field Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University in January - March 2019. The research was arranged in accordance with the Randomized Group Design. Data analysis using probit analysis continued with combination index calculation. The results showed that the combination index of 24: 1 and 36: 1 were 0.84 and 1, respectively, the both ratio of mixed herbicide were not antagonistic to Ageratum conyzoides.Keywords: Ageratum conyzoides, glyphosate, methulfuron methyl, mixed propertie
THE THE FORMULATION OF KEFIR COW MILK WHIT THE ADDITION OF PAPAYA FRUIT SARI (Carica Papaya. L) AS SUGAR SUBSTITUTE INGREDIENTS
The purpose of this study was to determine the addition of papaya juice as a sugar substitute for the physicochemical chemistry of cow's milk kefir. The study was conducted at the Laboratory of Animal Husbandry at the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University in Pontianak, the Laboratory of Agricultural Product Technology at the Faculty of Agriculture at Tanjungpura University, Pontianak and the Pontianak State Polytechnic Fisheries Laboratory. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications each treatment was P0 = Control (without adding papaya juice), P1 = Adding papaya juice 2% of cow's milk kefir, P2 = Adding juice papaya fruit 4% from cow milk kefir, P3 = addition of papaya fruit juice 6% from cow milk kefir and P4 = addition of papaya fruit juice 8%. The parameters observed were pH, total acid, ethanol content and viscosity. The average pH, total acid, ethanol content and the highest viscosity are: 3.99, 4.79, 2.04 and 2963.36, which are found in different treatments. The conclusion of this study is that the addition of papaya juice can improve the quality of cow's milk kefir. Keywords: Cow's milk, Kefir and Papaya seeds
FORMULASI JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays L. saccharata) DAN UBI JALAR ORANYE (Ipomoea batatas L.) TERHADAP SIFAT FISIKOKIMIA DAN SENSORI SUSU NABATI
The goal of this research was to find out of the best formulation of sweet corn and sweet potato on physicochemical characterized and sensory properties in vegetable milk. This research used randomized block design (RBD) of one factor, namely the proportion of sweet corn (g) and sweet potato(g), consist of 6 levels are (100 : 0, 90 : 10, 80 : 20, 70 : 30, 60 : 40, 50 : 50) with 5 replications. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA 5%, with further testing using BNJ test with a level of 5%. The best treatment using the Effectiveness Indexs Test. The results showed that 50 g sweet corn : 50 g sweet potato is the best formulation basev on physicochemical and sensory characterized. The physicochemical of vegetable milk were protein content (0,31 %), viscosity (3,37 cP), Vitamin C (22,66 mg/100g), Total Soluble Solid (11,53 °Brix), and pH (6,80). The best sensory characteristics were the flavor of (3,50), the color of (3,67), aroma of (3,20), and preference 0f (3,47). Keywords : sweet corn, sweet potato, vegetable mil
Karakteristik Kimia dan Sensori Croissant dengan Formulasi Tepung Keribang (Dioscorea alata L.)
Croissant adalah salah satu produk pastry terbuat dari adonan yang berlapiskan lemak padat sehingga terbentuk tekstur adonan dan lemak yang berlapis. Pembuatan croissant umumnya menggunakan tepung terigu 100%, maka perlu dilakukan usaha diversifikasi olahan pangan untuk mengurangi penggunaan dan ketergantungan terigu melalui formulasi dengan tepung keribang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan formulasi tepung keribang pada pembuatan croissant terhadap karakteristik kimia dan sensori yang terbaik. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) satu faktor, yaitu tingkat subtitusi tepung terigu dengan tepung keribang (100:0 g ; 90:10 g ; 80:20 g ; 70:30 g ; 60:40 g ; 50:50 g ) yang diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Parameter analisis yang dilakukan adalah kadar air, kadar abu, kadar lemak, kadar protein, kadar karbohidrat dan sensori. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Anova (α=5%), jika hasil Anova menunjukkan pengaruh nyata maka pengolahan data dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ. Hasil penelitian terbaik croissant dengan formulasi tepung keribang diperoleh dengan uji indeks efektivitas. Perlakuan croissant dengan formulasi tepung terigu 60 g dan tepung keribang 40 g merupakan perlakuan terbaik yang menghasilkan rerata uji fiskokimia kadar air (19,15%), kadar lemak (31,13%), kadar abu (1,91%), kadar protein (6,21%), kadar karbohidrat (41,61%). Hasil uji sensori terbaik yaitu kerenyahan (3,92), struktur (3,8), warna (3,8), rasa (3,48).Kata Kunci : Croissant, Tepung, Keribang, Formulasi, Korsve
ESTIMATION OF WHITE SHRIMP STOCK (Penaeus mergensis de Man) IN THE WATERS OF THE KAKAP RIVER KUBU RAYA REGENCY, WEST KALIMANTAN
ABSTRACT Information about white shrimp stocks (Penaeus merguensis de Man) is still very minimal, especially in the waters of the Kakap River Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. This study aims to determine the stock of white shrimp caught in the Kakap River. The method used in sampling is swept area by determining the area of the trawl catching area and taking white shrimp samples 10% of the catch. Research in the field was carried out for 2 months, namely in May-June 2019. Based on the results of research that has been done, the area of trawl fishing gear swept area reached 0,016 km2. White shrimp caught during the study were 530, of which there were 208 male and 322 females. The long distribution of white shrimp carapace observed during the study ranged from 12,64-41,72 mm, and weighed 1,16-11,45 grams. The length and weight relationship of male, female and combined white shrimp is negative allometric. White shrimp caught in the Kakap River based on the K value obtained 1,2 results per year with an L∞ value of 21,48 mm male and a K value of 1,2 per year with an L∞ value of 30 mm female, while the combined obtained a K value of 1,1 per year with L∞ 32,2 mm. Lettuce Growth Response Against Hydroponic Nutrient Film Technique System Type of Nutrition
This Research aims find out at the differences of various types of nutrition given to lettuce plants and find out the best types of nutrients uses in responding and yielding Lettuce hydroponic plants NFT system. The study was conducted at the Greenhouse Kampong Hidropon Sungai Raya Dalam KM 4 Pontianak City. The research began on September 24, 2018 until November 5, 2018. The design used in this study consisted of 5 levels of treatment without repetition, each treatment contained 20 plant samples so that there were a total of 100 plants. The treatments in the study were A = Goodplant Nutrient, B = Best Harvest, C = Hydroponic Cheers, D = West Borneo MIX, E = Hydroponic Kampong. The observed variables were number of leaves (strands), plant height (cm), total fresh weight (g), crown fresh weight (g), root volume cm³), and plant dry weight (g). The results of this study showed that various types of nutrition significantly affected all observed variables with NPK ratios of 24.6%, 7.4%, 34.9%, namely the Goodplant nutritional treatment gave the best average treatment for all observed variables. STRAWBERRY RESPONSE ON LIQUID INORGANIC NUTRITION AND ORGANIC LIQUID FERTILIZER IN AGGREGATE CULTURE
This study aimed to get the best combination of inorganic nutrients and organic liquid fertilizer of coconut fiber as a nutrient solution for aggregate culture on growth and yield of strawberries. The study was conducted at from February 14th to April 25th 2019. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatment given as combination of inorganic nutrients and organic liquid fertilizer was five levels of: k0 (100% organic liquid fertilizer), k1 (75% inorganic nutrients), k2 (75% inorganic nutrients with organic liquid fertilizer TDS 1.300 ppm), k3 (75% inorganic nutrients with organic liquid fertilizer TDS 1.800 ppm), and k4(100% inorganic nutrients). Variables observed such as root volume, plant height, leaf number, number of stolons, number of flowers, number of fruits, fruit and dry weight of strawberry plants. The results showed that application a combination of imorganic nutrients and organic liquid fertilizer did not increased the growth and yield of strawberries. Providing 75% of inorganic nutrition increased the growth and yield the same as given 100% of inorganic nutrition. Keywords: inorganic nutrition, organic liquid fertilizer, strawberries
Pengaruh Aplikasi Tepung Cangkang Telur Dan Biochar Tempurung Kelapa Terhadap Ketersediaan Hara N P K Dan Pertumbuhan Tanaman Jagung Pada Tanah Gambut
ABSTRAKJagung(Zea mays, L) merupakan bahan makanan pokok di Indonesia, yang memiliki kedudukan penting setelah beras. Selain itu, jagung sangat penting karena merupakan bahan pokok bagi industri pakan ternak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk Mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi tepung cangkang telur ayam dan biochar tempurung kelapa terhadap ketersediaan unsur hara N, P, K dan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung di tanah gambut. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial dengan 2 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan I: Biochar Tempurung Kelapa dengan 4 taraf. B0= tanpa biochar tempurung kelapa 0 g/8 kg gambut, B1= 6 ton. ha-1, B2= 12 ton.ha-1, B3= 18 ton. ha-1. Perlakuan II: Tepung Cangkang Telur dengan 4 taraf. C0= tanpa tepung cangkang telur 0 g/ 8 kg gambut, C1= 4 ton. ha-1, C2=8 ton. ha-1, C3=12 ton. ha-1. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat dilihat bahwa pH tanah kontrol yaitu 3.1 (sangat masam), setelah diberikan perlakuan pH tanah meningkat berkisar 6.09 (netral). N-total tanah sebelum perlakuan yaitu 0,54% ( tinggi), setelah diberi perlakuan rata-rata nilai N-total meningkat berkisar 0.69% ( tinggi) – 0.79 % (sangat tinggi). P-tersedia tanah sebelum perlakuan yaitu 50,21 (ppm) (sangat tinggi), setelah di beri perlakuan rata-rata nilai P-tersedia mengalami peningkatan yaitu bekisar 14,75 (ppm) (rendah) – 57,27(ppm) (sangat tinggi). K dapat dipertukarkan sebelum perlakuan yaitu 0,14 cmol(+)kg-1 (rendah), setelah diberi perlakuan rata-rata nilai K dapat dipertukarkan meningkat menjadi 0,47 cmol(+)kg-1 (sedang) – 0,79 cmol(+)kg-1 ( tinggi), sedangkan untuk tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, berat basah dan berat kering rata-rata nilai pengamatan meningkat dengan dosis tepung cangkang telur 8 ton.ha-1 dan biochar tempurung kelapa dengan dosis 12 ton.ha-1. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Masyarakat, Kecamatan Pontianak Selatan. Penelitian ini dimulai pada tanggal 10 Januari 2019 – 4 April 2019. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 5 perlakuan, 5 ulangan dan setiap ulangan terdapat 4 sampel tanaman. Perlakuan sebagai berikut : ( l1 )0% atau tanpa pemberian air limbah ikan lele, ( l2 ) konsentrasi air limbah ikan lele 25%, ( l3 ) konsentrasi air limbah ikan lele 50%, ( l4 ) konsentrasi air limbah ikan lele 75%, ( l5 ) konsentrasi air limbah ikan lele 100%. Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah Tinggi tanaman (cm), Waktu berbunga (hst), Berat kering tanaman (g), Jumlah buah per tanaman (buah), Berat buah per tanaman (g) dan Berat per Buah (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian konsentrasi air limbah ikan lele tidak dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah. THE EFFECT OF TOFU PULP WASTE BOKASHI ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF SNAPS IN ULTISOL SOIL
This study aims to determine the effect of tofu pulp waste bokashi on the growth and yield of snaps and to determine how many tofu pulp waste bokashi the best to improve the growth and yield of snaps in ultisol soil. This study held from April 10st to June 10th 2019, the research was conducted in the experimental land of the faculty of agriculture at Tanjungpura University. The method used is Complete Randomized Design (CRD) of one factor. The treatment consisted of 5 treatments, namely (= tofu pulp waste bokashi 1 kg/polybag, = tofu pulp waste bokashi 2 kg/polybag, = tofu pulp waste bokashi 3 kg/polybag, = tofu pulp waste bokashi 4 kg/polybag, = tofu pulp waste bokashi 5 kg/polybag) all treatments were repeated 5 times, each treatment consisting of 4 plant samples. The results showed that the application of 5 kg/polybag tofu pulp waste bokashi was the best of improve the growth and yield of snaps in ultisol soil.
