    Effect of Formulation Mixture of Herbicide IPA Glyphosate and Methyl metsulfuron on Ischaemum timorense Weeds

    The use of a single herbicide often cannot control all types of weeds. Increase the effects of weed control. This study aims to study the effectiveness of glyphosate and methyl metsulfuron herbicides to control the Ischaemum timorense weed and determine the nature of the mixture. This research was conducted from January to April 2019, for ± 4 months in the greenhouse and Pesticide Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. The research was arranged in random groups. The treatment consisted of 4 types of herbicides with five dose levels and 1 control, namely glyphosate (0, 0.188, 0.375, 0.750, 1.5, 3.0) l / ha, methyl metsulfuron (0, 10, 20, 40, 80, 160) g / ha, herbicide mixture A 240/10 SL (0, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00 2.00, 4.00) l / ha and mixed herbicide B 360/10 SL (0, 0 , 25, 0.50, 1.00, 2.00, 4.00) l / ha. The target weed is Ischaemum timorense, a grass weed which is planted in a 14 cm diameter pot and a target of 3 MST (Three weeks after planting a herbicide test is applied). The variables observed are the level of weed damage that was assessed through phytotoxicity scoring and weed dry weights and analysis of herbicide mixture properties. The results showed that the higher the dose of the herbicide that was given, the more effective the suppressor was in controlling weeds. Herbicides that have been able to restore weed growth include glyphosate (G3) at a dose of 0.750 l / ha, Methyl metsulfuron (M5) at a dose of 160 g / ha, A mixture of 240/10 SL (CG3) at a dose of 1.0 l / ha , Mixture B 360/10 SL (CB3) at a dose of 1.0 l / ha. A mixed herbicide A 240/10 SL with an LD50 value of 93.2 and a mixture of B 360/10 SL is 186.92 smaller than the LD50 value of a single glyphosate herbicide 186.83 and methyl metsulfuron 27.98. The index value of combination herbicide mixture A 240/10 SL is 1.0384 and herbicide mixture B 360/10 SL is 1.0262, thus the nature of the herbicide is not antagonistic.Keywords: Glyphosate, Methyl metsulfuron, LD50, Herbicide mixture

    Permen jelly yang terbuat dari sari daun cincau dan lidah buaya merupakan upaya untuk penganekaragaman produk olahan yang berbasis daun cincau. Pembuatan permen jelly daun cincau (cycle barbata) dengan perbandingan daun cincau yang telah diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan formulasi daun cincau dan lidah buaya untuk menghasilkan permen jelly berdasarkan sifat kimia dan sensori. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan satu faktor dengan enam taraf yang terdiri( p1; 9,6:38,4, p2; 14,4:33,6, p3; 19,2:28,8, p4; 28,8:19,2, p5; 33,6:14,4, p6; 38,4: 9,5, g/g). Permen jelly terbaik dihasilkan dengan formulasi 38,4:9,6. Karakteristik kimia permen jelly terbaik menghasilkan kadar air (18,03%), kadar abu (0,28%), kadar serat (1,62%), TPT (27,28), total kalsium (0,0015%), Fosfor (0,014,%).     PENGARUH JENIS MEDIA SUBSTRAT ORGANIK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASILTOMAT  SECARA HIDROPONIK Agustina Anci Putri(1), Setia Budi(2), Agus Hariyanti(2)(1)Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian dan (2) Dosen Fakultas Pertanian                     Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan media substrat organik yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tomat secara hidroponik. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari tanggal 5 Mei sampai 15 Agustus 2019 di kecamatan sungai raya, kabupaten kubu raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari satu faktor, 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 4 tanaman sampel dengan total jumlah tanaman 92 tanaman. Variabel pengamatan yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman (cm), berat kering tanaman (g), jumlah bunga per tangkai (bunga), jumlah buah per tanaman  (g), berat buah per tanaman  (g), berat buah per buah (g), dan presentase buah jadi (%). Pengamatan juga dilakukan terhadap kondisi lingkungan penelitian, yaitu suhu udara dan kelembapan udara.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan media cocopeat dan arang sekam dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tomat secara hidroponik. Kata kunci :Hidroponik, Media Substrat, Toma

    RESPON TANAMAN PAPRIKA TERHADAP KOMBINASI PUPUK KANDANG AYAM DAN NPK PADA TANAH ALUVIAL

    This study aim to determined knowing response of paprika plants to the combination manure fertilizer and NPK at alluvial soil. This study held on march, 03 2019 until may, 19 2019 at experimental garden Agriculture’s Faculty of Tanjungpura University. This study used Randomized Completely Design (RCD) with single factor that consist of 6 treatments with 4 replication and 4 samples. The treatments are, A= 1,75 g NPK without manure fertilizer, B= manure fertilizer 50 g + NPK 1,5 g, C= manure fertilizer 100 g + NPK 1,25g, D= manure fertilizer 150 g + NPK 1,25 g, E= manure fertilizer 200 g + NPK 1 g, F= manure fertilizer 250 g without NPK. Observing variable on this study are height of plant, wet weight of plant, dried weight of plant, volume of root plant, weight of fruit, fruit weight of plant, and number of plant. According to the result of this study, the conclusion is combination between manure fertilizer and NPK gave good response to the height of plant and the best dosis cannot found at combination of manure fertilizer and NPK to the paprika’s growth and yield.     This study aimed to determine the interaction between the use of organic chicken manure and Potassium chloride fertilizer which is better for growth and yield of Abelmoschus esculentus in alluvial soil. This research was conducted on November 20, to 2018 until January 23, to 2018 in Parit Lintang Village, Salatiga District, Sambas. This study used a Factorial experiment with a Randomized Block Design (RBD) which consists of 2 factors. The first factor of the doses used of manure chicken: a1 = gived chicken manure 5 ton / ha equivalent to 2.5 kg / plot, a2 = gived fertilizer chicken manure 10 ton / ha is equivalent to 4.5 kg / plot, a3 = giving chicken manure 15 ton / ha is equivalent to 6.5 kg / plot. The second factor of  the doses Potassium chloride fertilizer:  b1 = 100 kg / plot is equivalent to 87.5 g / plot, b2 = 150 kg / plot equals 131.3 g / plot, b3 = 200 kg / plot equals 333.33 g / plot. There were 9 combinations of treatment  in this study, each treatment was repeated 3 times and each treatment consisted of 3 plant samples so that there were 27 experimental unit. The variables observed in this study include the leaf area (cm2), root volume (cm3), shoot up dry weight (g), root dry weight (g), number of fruit (g), weight of fruit (g), weight of fruit layout (g). The results showed that the treatment of chicken manure application and Potassium chloride fertilizer could increase the growth and yield of Abelmoschus esculentus plants in alluvial soil. Further, there was no interaction between the two treatment of chicken manure and Potassium chloride fertilizer. Chicken manure at 15 ton / ha treatment equivalent to 6.5 kg / plot and Potassium chloride fertilizer at 200 kg / plot treatment equivalent to 333.33 g / plot gave the highest yield.     Keywords: Alluvial, Chicken Manure, Potassium chlorida , Abelmoschus esculentus

    An onion plant is the commodity that must be expanded, intensively in West Borneo, one of the suitable soils be used for planting this plant is alluvial soil. This research is aim to know the best dose of Bio urine on growth and the onion plant yield on alluvial soil. The sample of this research is Completely Randomise Design (RCD). b1 treatment control, b2 treatment: Bio urine 50 ml + 950 ml water = 1 L, b3 treatment: Bio urine 100 ml + 900 ml water = 1 L, b4 treatment: Bio urine 150 ml + 850 ml water = 1 L, b5 treatment: Bio urine 200 ml + 800 ml water = 1 L, b6 treatment: Bio urine 250 ml + 750 ml water = 1 L. So that can be achieved 6 treatments, 4 repetitions and 3 observation samples. There are some of observation variable on this research are the plant stature(cm), leaves(sheet), sprouts,  tubers per clump(tubers), root, volumes(ml)and dried weigh tubers(g). The result of this research show that the bio urine treatment evidently influenced on plant stature 2 weeks after planted, abstract influent on all observation variables.Keywords :Onion, Bio urine, Alluvial Soi

    Bioecology of Simpakolak Fish (Puntius anchisporus) in Empurut River in Entikong Sub-districts, Sanggau Regency

    Simpakolak fish (Puntius anchisporus) is one of the potential ornamental fish that is not widely known by the public. The development of potential fishery commodities requires a study of fish bioecology one of which includes growth patterns and habitat conditions. This research was conducted in March - June 2020 in Empurut River, Entikong Subdistrict, Sanggau Regency. The total fish caught was 100 fish, consisting of 57 males and 43 females. The growth pattern of simpakolak fish is allometric negative where the value of b = 1.302553185 in male simpakolak fish and value of b = 1.152323795 in female simpakolak fish. (R2) value 0,403 for male and (R2) value 0,531 for female. The results of the analysis of water quality analysis based on physics-chemical parameters indicated that the waters of the Empurut River are in good condition for simpakolak fish habitat. However based on biological parameters, the plankton abundance and diversity are relatively low.Keywords: Puntius anchisporus, Bioecology, growth patterns, habitat conditions

    This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of concentration and frequency of application of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of purple eggplant on peat soils. The research was conducted in the experimental garden of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tanjung pura Pontianak. The design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications, each repetition consisted of 3 plant samples. The intended treatment is 2 ml/1 liter of water 3 days (P1), 4 ml/1 liter of water 3 days (P2), 6 ml/1 liter of water 3 days (P3), 3 ml/1 liter of water 7 once a day (P4), 4 ml/1 liter of water 7 days (P5), and 6 ml/1 liter of water 7 days (P6).The variables observed in this study include: plant height, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, length of fruit per crop, and diameter of fruit per plant. The results of the analysis of the diversity of various combinations and the frequency of POC administration gave no significant effect on the observation variables, plant height, number of fruits, and fruit length, but significantly affected the eggplant yield components in peat soils, namely the observation of fruit weight and fruit diameter. In this study found effective combinations of concentrations and frequencies for growth and yield of eggplant on peat that is 4 ml/l liter of water once every 7 days.  Keywords : concentration and frequency of POC, purple eggplant, pea

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat produktivitas dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi produktivitas petani padi penerima bantuan dan petani padi bukan penerima BLM di Desa Entikong Kecamatan Entikong Kabupaten Sanggau serta bagaimana efektifitas penggunaan dana BLM- PUAP di Gapoktan Bakti Jaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis fungsi produksi Cobb- Douglas dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 19.0.Dari hasil uji-t diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,052 yang lebih besar dari 0,05 sehingga Ho diterima yang artinya tingkat produktivitas petani padi penerima BLM-PUAP sama dengan produktivitas petani yang tidak menerima BLM-PUAP. Dengan kata lain BLM-PUAP tidak memberikan pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap produktivitas petani padi di Desa Entikong Kecamatan Entikong Kabupaten Sanggau. Dari nilai R-Square menunjukan bahwa persentase sumbangan pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen produktivitas sebesar 61,2%. Sedangkan sisanya yaitu sebesar 38,8% dipengaruhi atau dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model penelitian ini.Dari hasil penelitian diketahui penggunaan dana BLM-PUAP dalam Gapoktan Bakti Jaya belum sepenunhya terlaksana dengan efektif. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya anggapan para petani terhadap program pemerintah seperti BLM-PUAP dan program- program pemerintah lainnya adalah bersifat sebagai bantuan, sehingga para petani merasa tidak berkewajiban untuk mengembalikannya dan bantuan tersebut bias digunakan untuk apa saja sesuai dengan keinginan mereka

    This study aims to determine the effect of aloe vera waste liquid fertilizer on the growth and yield of baby cucumbers on peat soil. The study was conducted in the Pontianak from May 5, 2019 to June 14, 2019. The method of the study was designed in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor, i.e. the concentration of Aloe vera waste manure, which consisted of 5 treatments with 5 replications and each replication consisted of 5 sample plants. The treatment were set as p1 = 3%, p2 = 5%, p3 = 7%, p4 = 9%, p5 = 11% of aloe vera waste manure were applied by watering directly on to the peat soil media with 600 ml/liter of water correspond to soil field capacity. The variables observed in this study were root volume, root dry weight, dry weight of the plant shoot, number of fruits per plant, fruit diameter, weight per fruit and weight of fruit per plant. The results showed that the application of aloe vera waste liquid manure have increased the growth and yield of baby cucumbers grown in peat soil. It was concluded that the application of 7% concentration of aloe vera waste manure was noted as an effective concentration for the growth, and weight of baby cucumber fruits.  Keywords: baby cucumber, peat soil, aloe vera waste, liquid organic fertilizer,
