    PENGEMBANGAN MODEL BAHAN AJAR BAHASA INGGRIS UNTUK PROGRAM EKSTRAKURIKULER DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop a English learning material model for an Extracurricular Program in Elementary Schools. A Research and Development methodology was used involving the following steps: analyzing students’ and teachers’ needs, evaluating the existing learning materials, designing a new learning materials, validating the learning materials by experts, revising learning materials, trying out the learning materials, and revising learning materials. It was found that the existing learning materials were not appropriate for the students’ characteristics and were not organised in a systematic way. Students and teachers indicated that they appreciated enjoyable English language learning materials such as songs, stories and games. Based on these findings a new model for developing materials was developed for Extracurricular English Program in Elementary Schools

    This research aims to enhance learning motivation, material selection and student’s process of Education, Program Study of Mechanical Engineering, second semester in 2006/2007 of academic year, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta, by using question and answer method with reward. Used kind of research is class action research. This research uses two cycles preceded by preliminary research. Both these cycles, each consisting of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Conducted action taken is by providing rewards for student participation in learning activities. Awards given to each of cycles are different, in the first cycle the awards given are additional value, meanwhile on the second cycle are certificate. Awards obtained from scoring on the observed activity. Application of the method of conversation with rewards obtained there is increasing of learning activity significantly, students become more active and the situation of learning more dynamic and fun. Increasing of student motivation is also indicated by an increase in the value of the test cycle. The average value of the introduction is 4.22 increasing at cycles I to 5.64. Meanwhile, to increase the second cycles to 7.02. beginning by the execution of this research, the use of learning methods of material selection and appropriate process is necessary in order to create a dynamic learning activities and conducive, so it is expected to get better learning results

    Abstract: The main aims during the three-year study is to produce counseling model based on animation film MAKSaD media that effective for improving the career competence of students in elementary school (SD). The specific objective of the study was to get: (1) model of animated film career ready MAKSaD media tested is limited; (2) model of media animated film career MAKSaD to improve the competence of elementary school students career test results are ready to be tested is limited diperluar; and (3) scientific articles published in national or international journals. Research methods of research and development (Research and Development). The research sample for validation MAKSaD media animated film career is an expert guidance and counseling, information and communication technology experts and practitioners (elementary class teacher). Collecting data using medium quality instruments. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics Mean. Results of this research are the validation resultan by BK experts, ICT specialists and primary class teachers to media careers animated films in general are in very good category with a mean score of 3.6 (the expert ICT) and 3.4 (practitioners / teachers grade SD) on a scale 1-4.       Abstrak: Tujuan utama penelitian selama tiga tahun adalah menghasilkan model konseling berbasis media film animasi MAKSaD yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi karier peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar (SD). Tujuan khusus penelitian tahun kedua adalah mendapatkan: (1) model media film animasi karier MAKSaD yang siap diuji coba terbatas; (2) model media film animasi karier MAKSaD untuk meningkatkan kompetensi karier peserta didik SD hasil uji coba terbatas yang siap diuji coba diperluar; dan (3) artikel ilmiah yang dimuat di jurnal nasional atau internasional. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and Development). Sampel penelitian untuk validasi media film animasi karir MAKSaD adalah pakar bimbingan dan konseling, pakar teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, dan praktisi (guru kelas SD). Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kualitas media. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif berupa rerata. Hasil penelitian yaitu hasil validasi pakar BK, pakar TIK, dan guru kelas SD terhadap media film animasi karir secara umum berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan rerata skor 3,6 (pakar TIK) dan 3,4 (praktisi/ guru kelas SD) pada skala 1-4

    PENERAPAN PROGRAM REMEDIAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS

    Abstract: Remedial learning can improve learning achievement of learners so as to achieve a minimum completeness criteria specified. Remedial learning is learning to be a good therapeutic or cured, from the difficulty to master certain competencies expected in learning. Remedial education in Indonesia is regulated by the Ministry of Education. This study was conducted to determine the feasibility remedial procedure, performed senior high school biology teacher in Bekasi, based Juknis made by the Education Ministry, 2010. The method used is descriptive method, with survey techniques. The result showed that, the implementation of remedial highly dependent on the condition of each school. School conditions were observed in this study can be grouped into three grade, namely grade A, B and C. The procedure implementation of remedial in senior high school Bekasi, not in accordance with the National Education Ministry, but only one school. The few things that have not been appropriate including instructional time, remedial test questions do not test any indicator incomplete, remedial tests given before students follow a remedial learning, relearning not use different methods and media.              Abstrak: Pembelajaran remedial dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik sehingga mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal yang ditentukan. Pembelajaran remedial adalah belajar untuk menjadi baik terapeutik atau sembuh, dari kesulitan untuk menguasai kompetensi tertentu diharapkan dalam pembelajaran. Perbaikan pendidikan di Indonesia diatur oleh Departemen Pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan prosedur perbaikan, dilakukan guru biologi SMA di Bekasi, Juknis berdasarkan dibuat oleh Departemen Pendidikan, 2010. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dengan teknik survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pelaksanaan perbaikan sangat tergantung pada kondisi masing-masing sekolah. Kondisi sekolah yang diamati dalam penelitian ini dapat dikelompokkan menjadi tiga kelas, yaitu kelas A, B dan C. Pelaksanaan Prosedur perbaikan di SMA Bekasi, tidak sesuai dengan Departemen Pendidikan Nasional, tetapi hanya satu sekolah. Beberapa hal yang belum sesuai termasuk waktu pembelajaran, pertanyaan tes remedial tidak menguji setiap indikator yang tidak lengkap, tes remedial diberikan sebelum siswa mengikuti pembelajaran remedial, belajar kembali tidak menggunakan metode dan media yang berbeda

    This study aims to determine the effect model of learning and thinking styles of the student's ability in solving environmental problems. This study uses experimental results showed that: First, the ability of students to solve environmental problems learning with instructional strategies ekperiensial higher than students who use expository. Second, the ability of students to the thinking styles accommodating in solving environmental problems is higher than the students' thinking styles assimilative. Third, the interaction between learning strategy and thinking styles affect the ability of students to solve environmental problems. That is the effect of the interaction between learning strategy and thinking styles affect on the level of students' ability to solve environmental problems. Fourth, the ability of students to solve environmental problems have a learning style accommodating with experiential learning strategy is higher than students who studied with expository learning strategy. Fifth, the student's ability to solve the environmental problems that have assimilative learning styles with learning strategies expository higher than students who study with experiential learning strategies. The conclusion from this study is that students who were learning with experiential learning model has the ability to solve environmental problems is higher compared with that get ekpositori learning

    PENGEMBANGAN TES KREATIVITAS

    This research aims to develop creativity test. This research was conducted in Jakarta. Validity and relaibility test were designed with three calibration phases: (1) expert assessment phase, (2) empirical test phase Phase I, and (3) an empirical test phase II. Samples were selected based on purposive cluster random sampling. Factor analysis of empirical test involving 200 students in the sample, showed that the dimensions developed by the results of the factor analysis in accordance with the theoretical. The results showed that the test alliteration reading creativity consists of five dimensions, namely (1) the smoothness of thinking, (2) flexibility of thinking, (3) originality of ideas, (4) the new arrangement, and (5) of detail. Five dimensions are translated into 18 grains of questions or statements as a stimulus in generating creative ideas. Results of factor analysis showed that each factor has a load factor greater than 0.3. Results of factor analysis showed that the creativity test contains 4 items figural tests and 12 tests verbal. Creativity tests developed have α reliability coefficient of 0.822. Ɵ amounted to 0.866, and Ω is 0.944

    Abstract: This study aims at producing a set of contextual-learning based training package for teachers of inclusive school to teach hearing impaired students. Background of the development’s training package are not available the training about hearing impairment’s instructional yet, and needs of teacher with the absence of particular instructional competency for hearing impaired students in an inclusive school. Borg and Gall’s Research and Development methods were employed in this study followed with an Instructional Development Model (MPI) to develop the package.This study results in the production of a set of contextual-learning-based training package for teachers to teach hearing impaired students, it includes the design of training, user’s guide for instructure and participant, 4 modules accompanied with a soft-copy (CD) of training materials that have been tested the effectivity, efficiency, and feasibility. The research resulting some of implication and recommendation.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan satu set paket pelatihan berbasis pembelajaran kontekstual bagi guru sekolah inklusif untuk mengajar siswa yang terganggu pendengarannya. Latar belakang dari paket pelatihan pengembangan ini tidak tersedia pelatihan tentang gangguan pendengaran ini instruksional belum, dan kebutuhan guru dengan tidak adanya kompetensi pembelajaran tertentu untuk mendengar siswa terganggu pada sekolah inklusif. Borg dan Gall Penelitian dan Pengembangan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diikuti dengan Pengembangan Model Instruksional (MPI) untuk mengembangkan hasil penelitian package.This dalam produksi satu set paket pelatihan berbasis kontekstual-learning bagi guru untuk mengajar siswa terganggu mendengar , itu termasuk desain pelatihan, buku petunjuk untuk instruktur dan peserta, 4 modul disertai dengan soft-copy (CD) dari materi pelatihan yang telah diuji efektivitas, efisiensi, dan kelayakan.     This causal research aims to assess the direct of the promotion, service quality, and image toward the decision making student at the universitas State of Jakarta. The data where collected from a randomly selected sampel of 383 student University State of Jakarta. The research was implemented during five months from August until October 2010. The questionnaire was signed by Likert sale. A path analysis technique was employed to analyse the data descriptively and inferentially. The research finding show that (1) a direct effect of the promotion toward the image, (2) a direct effect of the service quality toward the image, (3) a direct effect of the promotion toward the decision making, (4) a direct effect service quality toward the decision making, (5) a direct effect image toward the decision making. These finding suggest that the promotion, Service quality, and image were determining factors toward the decision making student at the University State of Jakarta, hence the research need to take into consideration for developing of University of Jakarta. &nbsp

    Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman dan gambaran mendalam tentang pembelajaran dan pemerolehan bahasa Arab di pondok modern Gontor III. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di pondok modern Gontor III Darul Ma’rifat Gurah Kediri Jatim dan dilaksanakan selama kurang lebih 1 tahun, sejak Agustus 2013 sampai dengan Juli 2014. Pembelajaran dan pemerolehan bahasa Arab di pondok modern Gontor III dapat dikatakan baik karena budaya lingkungand an kegiatan kebahasaan yang ada di sana seperti adanya laboratorium bahasa alami berupa lingkungan wajib berbahasa pondok baik berupa bahasa Arab selama seminggu (Al-Usbu’al-Araby) dan bahasa Inggris (Al-Usbu’ al- Injilizy) dengan didukung oleh disiplin berbahasa yang ketat. Hasil penelitian ini secara teoritik berguna untuk pengembangan ilmu pendidikan khususnya pengajaran Bahasa Arab, sebagai masukan bagi Pondok Modern Gontor III Darul Ma’rifat, khususnya dalam mengembangkn pola pembelajaran bahasa Arab dan sebagai acuan bagi pesantren maupun lembaga pendidikan lain yang ingin membekali materi-materi acuan bagi pesantren maupun lembaga pendidikan lain yang ingin membekali materi-materi dan skill kebahasa-Araban santrinya, pesantren yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang efektif dapat dijadikan rujukan dan menjadi salah satu penunjang dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab di pesantren itu sendiri dan dunia perguruan tinggi terutama bagi UNJ, UIN, IAIN, STAIN dan universitas-universitas lainnya yang mutu input mahasiswa dan out put lulusannya sangat bertumpu pada mutu dari lulusan lembaga pesantren
