STUDY OF PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL CONTENT OF TEMPEH FACTORY LIQUID WASTE IN BEKASI DISTRICT
The tempeh industry in Indonesia is a traditional household industry. The production waste is generally discharged directly into water bodies without prior treatment. This study aims to identify the level of pollution caused by tempeh liquid waste physically and chemically. Analysis was carried out with laboratory tests to determine the levels of pH, TSS, BOD, COD, colour, and odour produced. This study was conducted at 3 large tempeh industries in Bekasi from January to April 2025. The results of laboratory tests showed that the chemical and physical parameters did not meet the quality standards of the Minister of Environment Regulation No. 5 of 2014. COD measurements found 1 point that did not meet the quality standards of 629.47 mg / l, TSS inlet 221 mg / l and TSS outlet 65 mg / l, the highest BOD 22.50 mg / l due to the addition of chemicals to tempeh to accelerate fermentation. This study uses inferential statistical analysis. The pH parameters for both the inlet and outlet are <6.5. Discharge of waste directly into rivers results in an unpleasant odour from fermented soybeans and organic matter. Tempeh wastewater is recommended for processing organic fertiliser or biogas from anaerobic fermentation
A STUDY ON THE QUALITY AND CHARACTERISTICS OF CPO FROM MIXED OUTSPEC SOURCES
Outspec CPO is Crude Palm Oil (CPO) that does not meet standard CPO quality specifications. Outspec CPO can still be blended with standard CPO, provided that the resulting mixture continues to meet acceptable quality criteria. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of different blending levels of outspec CPO (0%, 1%, 3%, and 5%) and storage durations (0, 4, 8, and 12 days) on the quality of blended CPO. The research was conducted using an experimental method arranged in a factorial completely randomized design. The parameters measured to assess the quality of the blended CPO were: FFA (Free Fatty Acid), PV (Peroxide Value) and DOBI (Deterioration of Bleachability Index). The results showed that the highest quality was achieved with a 0% outspec CPO blend and 0 days of storage, yielding: FFA: 3.10%, PV: 0.10 meq/kg and DOBI: 2.97. Conversely, the lowest quality was observed with a 5% outspec CPO blend and 12 days of storage, resulting in: FFA: 5.31%, PV: 25.45 meq/kg and DOBI: 1.28. These findings indicate that a higher percentage of outspec CPO and longer storage durations lead to increased FFA and PV values, while the DOBI value decreases

Perkecambahan merupakan salah proses utama dalam pengembangan tanaman, dimana umur pindah bibit sangat mempengaruhi keberhasilan proses tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perubahan morfologi dan fisiologi benih padi pada berbagai umur pindah bibit dalam metode SRI. Penelitian dimulai darI tahun ajaran 2023/2024 di Laboratorium terpadu Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Pasir Pengaraian dan Laboratorium Balai Penerapan Standar Instrumen Pertanian (BPSIP) Riau Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif ,untuk pengamatan morfologi dilakukan dari umur bibit 0 hari sampai umur bibit 21 hari dan dilakukan pengamatan setiap harinya sampai ke hari 21, kemudian pengamatan fisiologi dilakukan setiap minggunya sampai umut bibit 21 hari
Application of Rice Husk Biochar and Chicken Manure Bokashi on the Growth of Mustard Greens (Brasisca juncea L.)
Green mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) are a type of horticultural plant that is widely cultivated in Indonesia. However, mustard greens production has continued to decline annually from 2020 to 2023. Efforts that can be made to optimize mustard greens production include increasing soil fertility by providing soil conditioners, such as rice husk biochar and chicken manure bokashi. This study aims to determine the provision of a combination of biochar and bokashi fertilizer that is good for increasing mustard greens' growth. This research was conducted in Sungai Janiah, Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency with an altitude of 490 meters above sea level from September to December 2024. The design used was Randomized Block Design (RAK) with treatments P0 = without organic fertilizer, P1 = 15 tons/ha Biochar (BC) P2 = 20 tons/ha Biochar (BC), P3 = 15 tons/ha Bokasi (Bok) P4 = 20 tons/ha Bokasi (Bok), P5 = 5 tons / ha biochar + 10 tons / ha Bokasi, P6 = 10 tons / ha biochar + 10 tons/ha Bokasi. The results of the research showed that the combination of 10 tons/ha biochar + 10 tons/ha Bokasi was significant on the parameters of plant height and consumption weight. Still, it was no significant on plant leaf width and number of leaves
Legal Liability of E-Commerce Site Against Sales of Counterfeit Trademarks Products
This article examines the legal liability of e-commerce platforms for selling counterfeit trademark products in Indonesia. The problem focuses on the extent of responsibility e-commerce platforms hold under Indonesian trademark law, particularly Law Number 20 of 2016 on Marks and Geographical Indications and Law Number 28 of 2014 on Copyrights. A statutory approach is used as a theoretical reference to approach this problem. The data is collected by qualitatively analyzing relevant legislation and policies. The study results show that the Trademark Law in Indonesia has not regulated the sale of products using counterfeit brands in e-commerce. The Copyright Law in Indonesia only regulates that the manager of a trading place can be held accountable if a sale of products violates copyright. In contrast, the Trademark Law does not restrict this. So that confusion arises: can the organizer of an electronic system in online buying and selling be held civilly liable if their e-commerce site provides products using counterfeit brands
Legal Aspects of Corporate Responsibility for Road Damage Caused by Overdimensioned and Overloaded Transport Vehicles
This article aims to analyze the ideal construction of criminal liability for corporations responsible for violations of goods transportation with over-dimensional and overloading (ODOL) specifications. The problem is focused on the lack of effective legal framework and enforcement mechanisms to address corporate responsibility in ODOL vehicle violations that contribute to traffic accidents, road damage, and safety hazards. In order to approach this problem, a theoretical reference of corporate criminal liability and transportation law enforcement is used. The data is collected through legal research methodology including statute analysis, case studies, and regulatory examination, and analyzed qualitatively through normative legal analysis. This study concludes that an ideal construction of corporate criminal liability requires comprehensive regulations with firm government commitment, active participation from vehicle-owning companies, and strict sanctions targeting not only drivers but also their superiors and companies that order ODOL transportation, as well as vehicle owners, to create effective deterrent effects and maximize law enforcement in controlling over-dimensional and overloaded vehicles while addressing resulting problems such as traffic congestion, road infrastructure damage, and traffic accidents that may cause injuries or fatalities
Anxiety as a Mediator in the Relationship between Psychological Inflexibility and Academic Procrastination among College Students
Academic procrastination is a common issue among college students that may negatively impact academic achievement and psychological well-being. This study aimed to investigate the role of anxiety in the form of trait anxiety as a mediator between psychological inflexibility and academic procrastination among college students. A total of 183 college students aged 18-25 years (M = 20,28) participated in the study by completing the Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-II (AAQ-II), the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), and the Academic Procrastination Scale (APS). Based on the result of a simple mediation analysis using PROCESS Macro v 4.2, it was found that trait anxiety partially mediates the relationship between psychological inflexibility and academic procrastination. This finding indicates that psychological inflexibility is related to academic procrastination whether directly or indirectly through the mediation of trait anxiety. This study highlights the importance of psychological interventions targeting psychological flexibility enhancement and anxiety regulation to reduce academic procrastination among students
Analisis Perbaikan Faktor Daya pada Jaringan Listrik Plant Fatty Acid 1 di PT Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia
Faktor daya adalah perbandingan antara nilai daya aktif dengan nilai daya semu. Faktor daya menggambarkan sudut perasaan antara nilai daya aktif dengan nilai daya semu. Perbaikan nilai faktor daya umumnya merupakan penambahan sebuah komponen kapasitor bank sebagai pembangkit nilai daya reaktif yang memungkinkan untuk dapat mensuplai kebutuhan nilai daya reaktif kVAR terhadap beban-beban induktif. Kapasitor bank adalah sebuah peralatan listrik yang memiliki sifat kapasitif yang terdiri dari beberapa kapasitor yang disambung secara paralel/seri agar menghasilkan kapasitas kapasitif tertentu. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi nilai daya reaktif pada sebuah panel MCC 01 di PT Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia dengan cara menaikkan nilai faktor daya pada sistem tersebut yang menggunakan sebuah komponen yaitu kapasitor bank. Hasil pengukuran dan penelitian pada panel MCC 01 tanpa menggunakan kapasitor bank menunjukkan rata-rata nilai faktor daya sebesar 0,81 setelah menggunakan kapasitor bank nilai faktor daya naik menjadi 0,9 dengan begitu nilai daya reaktif pada panel MCC 01 juga berubah dengan nilai daya reaktif awal sebesar 152 kVAR dan setelah pemasangan kapasitor bank menghasilkan daya reaktif akhir sebesar 101 kVAR dengan kapasitas kapasitor sebesar 51 kVAR.Penggunaan kapasitor bank dapat menurunkan nilai daya reaktif dikarenakan kenaikan nilai faktor daya pada sistem yang menggunakan kapasitor bank
Comparison of Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbors, Decision Tree, and Neural Network for Predicting Rainfall
Erratic rainfall due to climate change has significant impacts on the environment, agriculture and economy. To mitigate these impacts, a reliable rainfall prediction model is needed. Erratic rainfall due to climate change affects various sectors of life, so a reliable prediction model is needed to support data-based decision making. This study aims to compare the performance of Random Forest, k-Nearest Neighbors (kNN), Decision Tree, and Neural Network algorithms in predicting rainfall using observation data from the Citeko Meteorological Station. The data used include weather parameters such as temperature, humidity, and air pressure. The analysis was carried out using Orange software to evaluate the accuracy, precision, and computation time of each model. The results showed that Random Forest had the highest accuracy, while Neural Network showed consistent performance on more complex datasets. The kNN algorithm gave good results with the optimal number of neighbors, but was less efficient on large datasets. Decision Tree was easier to interpret but was prone to overfitting. This study provides insight into the most appropriate algorithm for rainfall prediction based on the characteristics of the data available
Simulation of the Single Sign-On Method for Service Provider Applications: A Case Study of Bhayangkara University Surabaya
The authentication system at Bhayangkara University Surabaya is still traditional, where users must have separate accounts for each service. This condition causes inefficiency, administrative burden, and security risks due to managing multiple credentials. This study aims to design and simulate a single authentication system based on Single Sign-On (SSO) to improve efficiency and ease of user access to campus digital services. The system was developed with an iterative approach using JSON Web Token (JWT) and RESTful API technology. The simulation was carried out by testing two applications, namely Identity Provider (IdP) and Service Provider (SP), which interact in a single authentication scenario. Three types of testing were carried out: (1) simulation of the login flow and SP access after authentication at the IdP, (2) compatibility testing between Android devices (multi-device), and (3) RESTful access performance testing, including response time, throughput, and token validity. The results show that the SSO system is able to centrally integrate campus services, accelerate authentication, and maintain access security. The average response time was recorded below 1.5 seconds, even when tested on 20 devices simultaneously. The implementation of SSO has been proven to improve operational efficiency and simplify user identity management. This system contributes to an improved user experience and can be replicated by other educational institutions with similar needs
