DIVERSITY OF PISCES IN THE LEMBAH TUMPANG
The objective of this study was to determine the diversity of fish species found in Tumpang Valley, Tumpang Sub-district, Malang Regency, East Java as an effort to preserve fish species. The method used in this research is observation in various ponds by using the help of reflection book and google lens to identify the types of fish found. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers on the diversity of fish species in Tumpang Resort Valley Area, Tumpang District, Malang Regency, the results indiccate that there are 5 species, namely koi fish, Javanese wader fish (tawes), tilapia fish, citul fish, and goldfish. There are various types of koi fish with different genetic variations, but there are 8 koi fish that can be identified by researchers, namely platinum koi fish, orenji ogon koi fish, karasugoi koi fish, kigoi koi fish, yamato nishiki koi fish, nezu ogon koi fish, silver koi fish, and sanke koi fish. The result of the fish diversity index obtained is 1.173 (in the low category)
Arm Robot 5-DOF using Matlab GUI Text Commands
This research explores the relationship between Matlab programming language and robot arm control through string or word commands. Experiments were conducted with various commands to move the robot arm in the desired direction. The implementation of this system was tested on a robot arm equipped with a unique gripper for grasping and moving test tubes. Experimental results show that the system can recognize GUI text commands with a high accuracy of 98% in providing direction/action to the test tube according to the instructions given. Thus, incorporating the robot arm control method through string or word commands in the development of this system contributes positively to the precision and responsiveness of the robot arm control system. This research opens up opportunities for further growth in robotics, especially in chemical laboratory applications, where manipulating sensitive materials requires highly accurate control. The successful use of string or word commands in controlling robots offers the potential for widespread implementation in various fields that need responsive and efficient human-machine interaction. Implementation Augmented Reality On Banjarnegara Culture As A Learning Media Using Marker-Based Tracking
Local Content is a subject that introduces the local culture of a region. At SD Negeri 1 Paseh, Banjarnegara, the teaching of Local Content faces challenges due to the lack of interactive learning media and conventional teaching methods that rely heavily on textbooks. This makes learning less engaging, lowers students' interest, and affects their understanding of Banjarnegara's culture. Thus, this study aims to develop a learning application based on Augmented Reality using the marker-based tracking method, which utilizes 2D images as markers to display 3D visuals. This approach helps enhance students' understanding of Banjarnegara's local culture in Local Content learning. The functional testing of the MULOK application was conducted using Blackbox Testing, which successfully evaluated its functionality. Distance and angle testing showed that markers were detectable within a range of 5-200 cm and at optimal angles between 20 and 160 degrees. Response time testing revealed an input-to-output response time of 1-2 seconds. Pretest and posttest evaluations were also applied to measure the application's effectiveness and to determine the improvement in students' understanding. The results showed an average score increase of 83.53%, demonstrating that Augmented Reality-based learning is more effective compared to conventional methods. Students do not need to visit the locations where culinary and handicraft products are made directly to observe and learn about them. Implementation of Transfer Learning on CNN using DenseNet121 and ResNet50 for Brain Tumor Classification
Brain tumors are conditions characterized by abnormal cell growth in the brain, which can disrupt brain function. Early detection and accurate classification are crucial to ensuring effective treatment. This study aims to improve the accuracy of brain tumor classification by implementing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) using Transfer Learning approaches on DenseNet121 and ResNet50 models. Transfer Learning leverages knowledge from pre-trained models on larger datasets, thereby accelerating the training process and enhancing performance on the brain tumor dataset. The dataset used consists of medical images, including images of brain tumors and images without tumors. The data was divided into two parts, with 80% for training and 20% for validation. This split ensures that the model learns optimally from the training data and is tested on unseen data to objectively evaluate its performance. Experimental results show that the ResNet50 model achieved an accuracy of 98.44% on the validation data, while the DenseNet121 model achieved an accuracy of 96.31%. In conclusion, the ResNet50 model outperformed DenseNet121 in brain tumor classification. Tsukamoto Fuzzy In IoT-Based Automatic Control System Of Kitchen Smoke MSME Palembang Crackers
MSMEs, particularly producers of *kerupuk kemplang* from Palembang, often face challenges in managing kitchen smoke generated during production. This smoke not only pollutes the air and poses health risks to workers but also reduces comfort and productivity. Therefore, this study aims to design an Internet of Things (IoT)-based control system using the Fuzzy Tsukamoto algorithm to automatically regulate the exhaust fan speed based on temperature, smoke concentration, and carbon monoxide (CO) levels. This system introduces technological innovation to enhance efficiency and productivity in MSME kitchen management. The method involves using MQ135, MQ7, and DHT11 sensors to detect kitchen environmental conditions in real time. The collected data is processed by the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller using the Fuzzy Tsukamoto algorithm and is then used to adjust the exhaust fan speed via an AC dimmer. The monitoring results are displayed on the Blynk IoT application for easy access. The study results show that the system successfully reduces smoke concentration by up to 30 ppm and CO levels by 40 ppm while maintaining the kitchen temperature within an optimal range of 49°C to 55°C. With a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 7.66% and an accuracy rate of 92.34%, the system proves to be effective and responsive to changes in kitchen environmental conditions. Analysis of Combined Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) and Median Filter Methods for Enhancement of CCTV Screenshot Image Quality
The quality of CCTV images often deteriorates due to poor lighting, low-quality cameras, and noise, hindering effective security analysis. This study aims to assess the combined effect of Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) and median filtering on improving the quality of CCTV screenshot images by enhancing contrast and reducing noise. Using a quantitative approach, four low-quality CCTV images were processed with CLAHE to improve contrast, followed by median filtering to reduce noise. Image quality was evaluated using two metrics: Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR). Results showed that CLAHE significantly improved image contrast, with MSE values ranging from 17.7513 to 159.092 and PSNR from 39.4809 to 47.1987. After applying the median filter, MSE values decreased to 12.1238–22.1747, and PSNR increased to 34.7288–37.3442, indicating noise reduction. The combination of CLAHE and median filter showed even better results, with MSE values ranging from 0.000993935 to 0.00508972, and PSNR ranging from 71.1032 to 78.1966. This combination significantly improved the quality of the CCTV screenshots, making them more suitable for security and forensic analysis. The findings suggest that CLAHE and median filtering can effectively enhance image clarity. Future studies should focus on optimizing these techniques for various lighting conditions and exploring other methods to address extreme noise levels in CCTV image
Rancang Bangun Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikro Hidro (PLTMH)
This study aims to design and build a Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) as an alternative solution for providing electrical energy in remote areas with adequate water flow potential. PLTMH utilizes kinetic energy from river flow to drive a turbine, which is converted into electrical energy through a generator. The research process involves several important stages: survey of water flow potential, design of mechanical and electrical systems, and installation and testing of the system. The survey aims to determine the optimal water discharge, while the design includes the selection of components such as turbines, generators, and electrical power control systems. The results of the study indicate that the designed PLTMH is capable of producing 1 kW of electrical power, sufficient to meet the basic needs of several households in remote areas. Further testing indicates that this system operates with high efficiency, stability, and minimal environmental impact, making it an environmentally friendly technology. Other advantages are the stability of the electricity supply produced and ease of maintenance and operation. This PLTMH is a sustainable solution for limited access to electrical energy in rural areas. Given its wide application potential, PLTMH can contribute to reducing dependence on conventional electricity networks and providing an affordable and reliable energy alternative for communities in hard-to-reach areas
Analysis of the Efficiency of Solar Power Plants as an Alternative Energy Source CCTV Integrated with Smartphones
Solar energy is one of the renewable energies which is an alternative energy for producing electrical energy. The first research stage involves conducting literature studies and field observations related to the problem to be researched. Next, collect the data needed to plan an off-grid solar power plant at the Medan City Study House. This PLTS is also capable of being an alternative energy source for CCTV which is capable of supplying electrical energy for 24 hours. Where CCTV plays a very important role in the Medan City Study House as the security system used. PLTS is highly recommended to be implemented in densely populated areas because PLTS has very minimal emissions and is environmentally friendly. The cost of energy (COE) / kWh from this PLTS is 0.089/kWh. Solar panels produce 6,694 kWh of energy per year. The energy produced by solar panels is sufficient to supply load needs which only require 153,300 kWh of energy per year
Analysis of Bending Strength of Composite Materials in Bipolar Plates for Fuel Cell Technology
This study aims to this study was to examine the effect of polypropylene (PP) plastic and activated carbon (AC) composition in a plastic composite material. The composite material was mixed using an internal mixer at a processing temperature of 220°C and a speed of 50 rpm. The mixture was then molded with dimensions of 100 mm in length, 15 mm in width, and 2,5 mm in thickness. The sample molding was performed using a compression molding method with a pressure of 1500 MPa at 250°C and a holding time of 300 minutes. Subsequently, the samples were cut according to the bending test dimensions following ASTM D790-03 standards, with dimensions of 100 mm x 12.7 mm x 2.5 mm. The test results for the polypropylene-activated carbon composite in the first composition showed a maximum stress point of 36.95 MPa and an elastic modulus of 4.3096 MPa, while the second composition showed a maximum stress point of 34.58 MPa and an elastic modulus of 3.371 MPa. These findings indicate that increasing the activated carbon composition in polypropylene polymer results in a reduction in bending strength
Transformation of the Pemuda Pancasila Organization into a Formal Political Force in North Sumatra
This article or writing aims to understand the process and factors that affect the change of the PP's image, increase legitimacy, and increase public acceptance of this organization after engaging in practical politics. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach through in-depth interviews with senior PP cadres and figures and analysis of organizational documents and related policies. The Resource Mobilization Theory is used to analyze the strategies and resources of the PP in the transformation process. At the same time, the Political Opportunity Structure helps to understand the PP's use of post-reform political opportunities in achieving formal political positions. This study concludes that the results show that PP adopts strategies such as participation in social activities, internal reforms, and strengthening political alliances to improve its image. Although the stigma of thuggery remains, the involvement of PP in social programs is beginning to increase public acceptance. Political and economic motivation is the main driver for PP cadres to enter formal politics, supported by an adaptive organizational structure
