Oil palm (Elaeis guineesis Jacq.) is an annual plant that plays an important role and oil palm is Indonesia's leading and main agricultural commodity or is often referred to as Indonesia's green jewel. Indonesia is the largest producer and exporter of CPO in the world to meet domestic and foreign needs, followed by Malaysia, Thailand, Nigeria, Colombia and Papua New Guinea. Even though Indonesia has indeed succeeded in becoming the largest CPO producer in the world, the reality shows that Indonesia has not been able to determine theselling price of CPO for the world market. It is not only the issue of market integration that is still determined by foreign markets. Therefore, private and state-owned palm oil factories usually calculate the cost of production using the processing cost method and analyze what factors influence the cost of production. For this reason, private and state-owned palm oil factories usually calculate the cost of production using the processing cost method  and analyze what factors influence the cost of production. The main objective of this research is to determine the influence of processing capacity, raw material supplies, oil and palm kernel oil yields and exploitation costs on the cost of processing so that it can provide added value for the company. This research uses secondary data and is analyzed using linear regression using SPSS. Based on the research results, it is known that processing capacity has no effect on the cost of processing and this is not in accordance with the hypothesis. Raw material supplies and yield achievements have a negative and significant effect on the cost of processing goods and are in accordance with the hypothesis. Exploitation costs have a positive and significant effect on the cost of processing and are in accordance with the hypothesis. Therefore, management must increase raw material supplies and production yields and reduce exploitation costs to reduce the cost of processing goods

Corporate Governance plays a vital role in supporting the increase in Firm Value. When evaluating a company's long-term viability and moral conduct, stakeholders, regulators, and investors are increasingly focusing on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations. Specifically, this study looks into the impact of Corporate Governance and ESG Performance attributes on Firm Value. The theories used are Stakeholder Theory and Institutional Theory. This study considers three Corporate Governance mechanisms, namely diversity attributes, structural attributes, and process attributes that are rarely considered in previous studies. ESG Performance in this study is developed as an innovative index, which differs from previous studies that rely on well-known ESG measurement methods such as Thompson Reuters, MSCI, and other ESG ranking techniques. In addition, this study also uses Profitability, Ownership Concentration, Leverage, and Firm Age as control variables. The data collected is based on the financial report and annual report listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), which is engaged in the energy sector and meets the assessment standards, so a sample of 142 companies is obtained. The testing of the theoretical model was carried out with the assistance of the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 23, and multiple linear regression analysis was utilized in the testing of the model. This finding supports the idea that corporate governance and ESG performance simultaneously affect firm valu

Many objects around us use paper-based materials. Recycle fiber is an alternative raw material with great potential to meet fiber needs and overcome environmental problems. Paper with virgin pulp raw materials has a higher production cost than paper with recycled fiber raw materials. Apart from fiber raw materials, the chemicals used also cause high production process costs. Currently, the industry uses a double retention system for $ 63,022.5 per month; this cost comes from using more chemicals. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of single retention on machine run ability and the quality of paper produced and to find out how much production cost savings from the use of single retention. In this study, brown paper was made using CPAM chemicals as retention materials and silica as comparison retention materials with doses of 0.25kg/ton, 0.5kg/ton, 0.75kg/ton, and 1kg/ton, respectively. Then, wet-end properties testing was carried out, which included drainage and FPR. Furthermore, dry-end properties testing, which included internal bonding, concord, ring crush, and tensile testing, was carried out on a laboratory scale. The results showed that using a maximum dose of cpam of 0.25kg/ton got better results. In using cpam above 0.25 kg/ton, quality degradation results are obtained, but the drainage produced continues to increase as the dose increases; this is influenced by the amount of floc formed in the stock, thus affecting the run ability of the machine. After research and calculations with the application of single retention in the brown paper manufacturing process, considerable cost savings were obtained, and quality can be maintained using strength agents
