No full textResumen: El autor recrea en estas páginas el encuentro que en el año 1874 mantuvo el joven sacerdote francés Jorge María Salvaire (cm) con el cacique araucano José María Railef en el transcurso de la misión realizada en la toldería de la laguna “La Barrancosa”, ubicada en las cercanías de la actual ciudad de Bragado (Buenos Aires). El anciano cacique, hombre venerado y respetado por todos, a quien Salvaire cobró particular afecto desde el momento mismo en que lo conoció, decidió con llamativa firmeza iniciar el camino que lo llevaría a recibir los sacramentos de la iniciación cristiana. Precisamente el perfil moral del catecúmeno motivó en el misionero una serie de interesantes reflexiones en torno al problema de la salvación de los gentiles o no creyentes, inspirándose en el Nuevo Testamento, la tradición patrística y Santo Tomás de Aquino.Abstract: The author recreates in these pages the meeting of the young French priest Jorge María Salvaire (cm) with the Araucanian Cacique José María Railef in 1874 during the mission in the “toldería” (indigenous camp) of the “La Barrancosa” lagoon, in the area of the current city of Bragado (province of Buenos Aires). The old cacique, a revered and respected man, to whom Salvaire had a particular affection since the day he met him, decided with remarkable courage to undertake the journey that would bring him to receive the sacraments of Christian initiation. Indeed, the moral silhouette of the catechumen motivated in the missionary a series of interesting reflections on the problem of salvation of the gentiles or non-believers based on the New Testament, the patristic tradition and Saint Thomas Aquinas

No full textResumen: Esta reflexión ha sido propuesta por un grupo de profesores de nuestra Facultad para poner nuestra mirada en una dimensión de la Eucaristía que ayude a comprender su sentido dentro de la vocación de toda la creación de llegar a su plenitud. En el marco del bicentenario de nuestra Patria, el grito de los postergados, el dolor de los que sufren, las incomprensiones que vive todo hombre se vuelven también presencia de Jesús que interpela desde el misterio eucarístico. Ella es signo de la promesa pero también profecía y misión; nos anticipa la comunión eterna, pero –precisamente por ello− se constituye en desafío para la historia.Abstract: This reflection has been proposed by a group of professors of our Faculty in order to consider how the Eucharist may help to understand the vocation to fulfillment of all Creation. In the framework of the bicentennial of our homeland, the cry of the outcasts, the pain of those who suffer, the incomprehension experienced by human beings becomes a presence of Jesus that questions us from the Eucharistic Mystery. This is sign of the promise but also prophecy and mission; it anticipates the eternal communion, but –precisely for that reason− it constitutes a challenge for history
Aproximación a la técnica de Claudio Arrau : análisis y rescate de sus indicaciones autógrafas presentes en su corpus musical
No full textResumen: El corpus musical compuesto por las miles de partituras pertenecientes al pianista chileno Claudio Arrau León (1903-1991) es de un valor inconmensurable por partida doble: En una dimensión patrimonial e histórica, al ser reflejo de un trabajo de verdadera artesanía musical en función de su interpretación profunda y honesta reconocida en todo el mundo; y en una dimensión práctica para pianistas, directores e intérpretes, ya que las numerosas indicaciones autógrafas (de tempo, dinámicas, cesuras, fraseos y especialmente digitación) dan cuenta de la verdadera labor investigativa llevada a cabo por el maestro al enfrentar una obra. Cabe destacar que muchas de sus soluciones técnicas e interpretativas, las había recibido de su maestro Martin Krause, discípulo de Franz Liszt, y que le fueron legadas como verdaderos secretos. Es por esta razón, que la primera etapa de rescate, digitalización y análisis corresponde a las obras del maestro húngaro. La ponencia permite aproximarnos de primera fuente, a la técnica del maestro a través de las partituras con indicaciones manuscritas, digitalizadas y analizadas por parte del equipo de investigación del Centro de Documentación Patrimonial de la Universidad de Talca, que ha puesto a disposición la totalidad del material a través de un moderno sitio web.Abstract: The musical corpus composed of thousands of scores belonging to the Chilean pianist Claudio Arrau León (1903-1991) is of immeasurable value in two ways: In a patrimonial and historical dimension, being a reflection of a work of true musical craftsmanship function its deep and honest interpretation recognized worldwide; and a practical dimension for pianists, directors and performers, due to the numerous handwritten signs (tempo, dynamics, phrasing and fingering especially) tell the true investigative work done by the teacher to face a play. It should be noted that many of their technical and interpretive solutions, had been received from his teacher Martin Krause, pupil of Franz Liszt, and they were passed as true secrets. It is for this reason that the first stage of rescue, digitization and analysis corresponds to the works of the Hungarian master. This paper allows us to approach first hand, to the master's technique through scores with handwritten signs, digitized and analyzed by the research team of the Heritage Documentation Center of the University of Talca, which has made available the entire material through a modern website

No full textResumen: Nick Bostrom, Swedish philosopher at Oxford University, director of the Future of Humanity Institute, thinks and works for the building of the posthuman being. He means to favorite human enhancement through the ethical application of science. The improvement of human condition and human organism would be accomplished by the advancement of technology, genetic engineering, information technology, molecular nanotechnology or artifi cial intelligence. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin curiously employs the word ultra-human in his writings. We ask ourselves if he uses this expression in the same way Bostrom does. Complexity and consciousness intensify through the way of life Evolution. With the human zoological group cosmos covers with a new envelope: the noosphere. Science, technic, industry, aesthetic and moral developed by men leads to a deep dependance between human beings. A sick president and an investigative committee : senatorial prerogatives and the case of presidential disability during Roberto M. Ortiz's administration
No full textResumen: Cuando la política de apertura electoral que encaró el presidente Roberto M. Ortiz (1938-1942) a fines de los años treinta se vio consolidada en 1940, un importante suceso político ocurrió: el presidente, debido a problemas de salud, debió pedir licencia a partir de agosto y abandonar transitoriamente la presidencia. A medida que se consolidó la autoridad de su vicepresidente conservador, Ramón Castillo, Ortiz siguió interviniendo con declaraciones públicas en el desarrollo de los acontecimientos políticos más trascendentales. En febrero de 1941, algunos senadores oficialistas propusieron una comisión para conocer el estado de salud “real” del enfermo presidente y neutralizar su influencia. El objetivo secreto de esta iniciativa parlamentaria era reclamar supremacía senatorial para un eventual caso constitucional que pudiese plantearse por un retorno forzado, y recopilar suficiente información para juzgarlo en un eventual juicio político por inhabilidad. La comisión sobre la salud del presidente demostró -pese a que no tuvo concreta resolución- que Ortiz poseía una severa e irreversible ceguera que le impediría retornar al poder. Ortiz (1938-1942) was established in 1940, a major political event occurred: the president had to leave due to health problems, and to abandon the presidency temporarily since August. When the authority of his conservative Vice President Ramon Castillo was being consolidated, Ortiz continued to intervene on the development of the most important political events with public statements. In February 1941, some senators proposed a commission to know the “real” status of the President's health in order to neutralize his influence. The secret aim of this parliamentary initiative was claiming senatorial supremacy for a possible constitutional case raised by a forced return of Ortiz, and to collect enough information, for a possible impeachment by disability. The commission on the president's health -despite it had no concrete resolution- showed that Ortiz had a severe and irreversible blindness that would prevent him from returning to power. In this sense, the fraudulent conservative project of his Vice president was strengthened and the Senate had the opportunity to claim own research power
Power struggle and early departures : explaining modes of resolution of presidential crisis

Determinación de la demanda y planificación de la dotación para terminales de abastecimiento de combustible en aeropuertos : caso Aeropuerto Internacional Ezeiza
No full textResumen: Planificar y programar la dotación para una terminal de abastecimiento de combustible en un aeropuerto no es tarea sencilla. El esquema de arribos y partidas de vuelos es marcadamente estacional y cambiante y la operación del aeropuerto no cierra por la noche, fines de semana ni feriados. Por otro lado, al personal que realiza la operación se le debe asignar turnos de trabajo que respeten las horas de descanso, no excedan el máximo de horas trabajadas permitidas por ley y contemplen las licencias que correspondan otorgar. Otro actor a contemplar es el sindicato, quien puede generar conflicto si considera que el régimen de trabajo es injusto o inequitativo. Con todo lo dicho se debe lograr un esquema de dotación que haga frente a la demanda, que cumpla con los requerimientos legales y gremiales, que sea eficiente en costos y que tenga flexibilidad frente a los cambios. El objetivo de este trabajo es desarrollar herramientas que permitan la determinación y el análisis de la demanda y luego la planificación y programación de la dotación de modo de cumplir con la meta anteriormente mencionada. Se tomará el caso del Aeropuerto Internacional Ministro Pistarini en Ezeiza por ser el de mayor tamaño y complejidad operacional y se realizará el relevamiento para una de las tres petroleras que operan en dicho aeropuerto. En particular, se trata de una de las dos petroleras privadas. No obstante, la metodología empleada y las herramientas resultantes podrán utilizarse para la planificación de la dotación de cualquier otra terminal, teniendo en cuenta las características particulares de cada una de ellas. Como metodología se comenzará por el relevamiento del esquema de vuelos del aeropuerto y el estudio de la operación de abastecimiento de combustible a aeronaves. En función de la demanda de vuelos y de las características relevadas de la operación se determinará la demanda de abastecimientos. Por último se relevarán las características y restricciones que surgen del régimen laboral establecido por ley y acordado entre dicha empresa y el gremio. En función de lo expresado anteriormente se confeccionará un esquema de turnos de trabajo para el personal de modo de lograr la mayor eficacia y eficiencia operacional
Hermes' commerce : an essay on translation and hermeneutics
No full textAbstract: The question on the art of translation concerns the very essence of Hermeneutics, for comprehension is always a way of translating the world of the other to whom I am listening or reading. The mythological figure of Hermes will lead the way to acknowledge the ambiguities and paradoxes implied in translating and, therefore, in hermeneutics. The necessity of keeping at the same time the distance and the proximity between our world and the foreign one, has taken us to present the idea of commerce as the central activity in every interpretation. On the other hand, interpretation implies also a common World-Life (Lebenswelt), reconsidering the notion of objectivity, without loosing, however, the linguistic dimension of human experience.
