Technostress and its impact on employees in a selected industry
The bachelor's thesis, which aims to evaluate technostress and its impact on employees in a selected industry and propose measures to reduce the impact of technostress on employees, focuses on the retail sector, where digitalization is significantly changing the nature of work activities. The theoretical part defines concepts related to stress and technostress and presents relevant models of work stress. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey among 100 employees of selected retail units. For a deeper understanding of the issue, this research was complemented by a semi-structured interview with the manager of one of the stores. The results show that more than half of the respondents (55 %) report occasional to frequent occurrence of technostress, while a quarter (25 %) experience it on a daily basis. A statistically significant relationship was identified between the level of stress experienced and the availability of technical support (? = 29.772; p = 0.019). The level of technostress was not significantly influenced by age or gender, with length of experience and experience with the technology playing a more significant role. Employees felt insecure if they lacked support, feedback, or the opportunity for technical repetition. Based on these findings, the paper proposes specific measures in the areas of training, technical support and organisational culture to reduce the incidence of technostress
The use of influencer marketing within the management of the Český Krumlov Rally event
This thesis deals with the use of influencers in marketing for the Rallye Český Krumlov event. It starts with a literature search, which forms the basis for the practical part of the thesis, which examines the current state and use of influencer marketing for this company. For the purpose of the research, a semi-structured interview method was chosen with a marketing representative of Rallye Český Krumlov; this reveals that the current activities and experiences related to influencer marketing are in their infancy. In order to get feedback from the influencers and organisers, a questionnaire method was used, which revealed that followers are most interested in content with high quality photos, videos, which have an authentic feel. Based on this information, a profile of the follower can be compiled to target, and a suitable influencer and communication strategy can be chosen. A complementary method was a semi-structured observation, which reveals the strategy for promoting the rally during the period that management believes to be most important for attracting riders and visitors. The main results of the data analysis include the finding that the potential of infulencer marketing is not fully exploited in Rallye Český Krumlov. Marketing is provided by two organisations and two people without clear rules for the selection of influencers. The company uses influencer communication mainly in cooperation with the drivers themselves. It is also clear from the data that younger and female audiences rate the content better, and the interest partly decreases with increasing age. After data analysis and interpretation, suggestions and innovations that could be useful for the management of the Český Krumlov Rallye were outlined, including the suggestion of potentially suitable influencers to collaborate with and the design of a sample video spot
Management of chosen sports clubs
This bachelor's thesis, titled "Management of Selected Sports Clubs" focuses on the management of two selected ice hockey clubs: HC Dukla Jihlava and Banes Motor České Budějovice. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the management of both clubs and propose recommendations for improving the current situation. The theoretical part deals with fundamental concepts of management and sports management, as well as topics such as financing, marketing in the sports industry, and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their operations. The practical part focuses on evaluating the current state of both clubs through structured interviews with club management representatives and a questionnaire survey among players and coaches. Based on the information obtained from the analysis, recommendations were proposed that could contribute to more effective club management. The thesis compares the clubs using the benchmarking method
Investment Project Evaluation
The thesis focuses on the evaluation of the efficiency of an investment plan in a residential property intended for long-term rental. The aim of the work is to verify whether the investment is economically advantageous and feasible under the current market and financial conditions, even in the case of using foreign capital. The theoretical part summarizes the methods of investment evaluation and identifies the main categories of investment risks. In the practical part, a specific investment case is analysed, for which a cash flow statement is prepared and the net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR) and discounted payback period are then calculated. In addition, a risk matrix was developed to assess the likelihood and impact of each risk factor. The results found confirm the economic viability of the project while showing that the identified risks are manageable. Based on the analysis carried out, the investment is recommended for realisation
Model of a family house for thermographic evaluation
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a model of a family house intended for thermographic evaluation of thermal leakage. Based on the research, four main factors influencing heat loss were identified: wall thickness and insulation, thermal bridges, door thresholds and the number of glass panes in the windows. For these factors, tools and measurement methodologies were developed to verify them. Furthermore, the influence of the surface treatment of the material on the thermographic evaluation was investigated. Based on the results of these measurements, a model of the family house in Fusion 360 was designed and printed on a Prusa MK4 3D printer. After its completion, thermographic analyses were performed using qualitative and quantitative comparative thermography, and LabIR software from the University of West Bohemia was used to evaluate the thermograms. The results confirmed that all selected types of thermal leakage are measurable and the surface treatment of the model does not have a significant effect on the thermographic evaluation. The designed model of the family house is fully functional and can be used as a teaching aid in the demonstration of thermographic measurements
Economic crime and shadow economy
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of economic crime and the shadow economy in the Czech Republic in the period from 2014 to 2024. The aim is to analyze the development of these phenomena and evaluate their mutual connection. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, which defines key concepts and the legal framework, and a practical part, which is based on statistical data from the Police of the Czech Republic and estimates of the size of the shadow economy. The results show that economic crime remains a significant problem despite the overall decline in criminality and that it is closely linked to the development of the shadow economy. Based on the findings, measures are proposed to improve the effectiveness of the fight against these phenomena
Burnout syndrom prevention in parents of children with disabilities
Abstract The bachelor's thesis is focused on two main goals. The first goal is to find out whether parents of children with multiple disabilities are aware of the prevention of parental burnout, where they obtain information about prevention, and whether they are interested in more information in the field of parental burnout prevention and in what form. The second main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to create a brief information brochure on parental burnout based on theoretical knowledge with practical information on the possibilities of preventing parental burnout. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire survey was chosen, in which 82 parents of children with multiple disabilities participated, and the knowledge from the theoretical part was used to create information material. Quantitative data are processed by first-level statistical classification. The thesis investigates the awareness of the prevention of parental burnout in one of the groups at risk of parental burnout. It also provides information on which groups of parents to focus on when spreading awareness about parental burnout, information on the most frequently used information sources, and also on the most preferred information sources. The questionnaire survey revealed that most parents encounter information on the prevention of parental burnout. The results point to a lower awareness of parental burnout among parents under the age of 40. The most common sources of information on the prevention of burnout are the Internet, parent groups or organizations and experts. Most parents consider regular rest and relaxation and organizing time for themselves to be an effective strategy against burnout. Most parents are interested in more information on the possibilities of preventing parental burnout. Parents would prefer to receive information as part of personal counseling, as well as through online communities and social networks and group activities for parents of children with disabilities (e.g. support groups). Part of the bachelor's thesis is an information brochure on the prevention of parental burnout, focusing on parents of children with combined disabilities
Mental hygiene in social services workers
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of burnout syndrome in social service workers and the possibilities of its prevention. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the experiences of selected social service workers with burnout syndrome, characterize possible factors of its occurrence and identify tools to support the prevention of this phenomenon, both on the part of the organization and the workers themselves. First, the theoretical basis of the work is presented, where the helping profession, social work, social services and specific prerequisites, education and skills that a worker in the helping profession should have, are defined. The next chapter is devoted to the issue of burnout syndrome, its occurrence, phases and manifestations. Subsequently, the work focuses on the prevention of burnout syndrome, both from the perspective of the organization and the worker himself. Emphasis is also placed on the importance of supervision in the organization and other possibilities of preventing burnout syndrome. In the empirical part, the results of the research investigation are interpreted based on the analysis of data obtained from semi-structured interviews with workers of the Integrated Social Services Center in Odlochovice, who directly work with mentally disabled clients. Based on the results of the research, key risk factors leading to burnout were identified and measures were proposed that could contribute to its prevention, both on the part of the organization and the individual

Technical analysis and its use in trading on the foreign exchange market
: This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and testing of an intraday trading strategy based on the Fair Value Gap (FVG) concept in the forex market. The theoretical part examines the principles of the foreign exchange market and tools of technical analysis, with an emphasis on price action and so-called smart money concepts, including the FVG. The practical part presents a specific strategy targeting the first FVG formed during the beginning of the New York trading session. The strategy includes clearly defined entry and exit conditions as well as strict risk management rules (fixed risk of 1% per trade). The strategy was manually backtested on historical data of the EUR/USD and GBP/USD currency pairs for the period from October 2024 to April 2025. The main output of the thesis is the evaluation of the strategy's performance in terms of profitability and reliability. The backtest confirmed that the FVG strategy is capable of generating profit - with a total return of 19.98% achieved on EUR/USD and a modest gain of 3.34% on GBP/USD. The conclusion summarises that a well-managed FVG-based strategy can outperform traditional market returns under certain conditions, although its robustness is not universal
