The goal of the theoretical part of this thesis is to describe and present the current state of video generative models with focus on used architectures as well as specific models currently on the market. The thesis will present their quality, shortcomings and potential usage. The goal of the practical part of this thesis is to design and implement a system which will enhance the subject consistency in generated videos
The analysis of the laser welding process of stainless steel in the environment of nuclear power plants
The thesis deals with the analysis of laser welding of stainless steel in the environment of nuclear power plants. The main motivation is the introduction of new technologies in the field of service and repairs at nuclear power plants. The thesis discusses the possibilities of applying manual laser welding with beam oscillation for joining austenitic stainless steels 1.4301 and 1.4404 with a thickness of 1.0 and 1.5 mm. The filler material is 316 LSi wire with a diameter of 0.8 mm. Based on a literature review and assessment of the current state, the greatest risk is identified as the occurrence of pores in welds, and the key influences on this phenomenon are also identified – shielding gas, amplitude, and beam oscillation frequency. The results of the experiment demonstrated the fundamental influence of amplitude on the shape of the weld and also the significant influence of the protective atmosphere on the formation of pores. The use of nitrogen led to a significantly lower occurrence of pores and is recommended as the main measure for laser welding work at nuclear power plants. The work provides important insights for practice and further research
Employee Remuneration System and Suggestions for its Improvement at the Selected Company
The bachelor thesis focuses on the employee remuneration system in the company XYZ s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to assess the current remuneration setup and propose measures that will lead to increased employee satisfaction. The thesis is divided into three main parts: theoretical, analytical, and design. The theoretical part describes key concepts and approaches in the field of remuneration and human resource management. The analytical part evaluates the current state of the company, using economic analysis, a questionnaire survey, and market comparison. The design part presents specific measures aimed at improving employee job satisfaction
Evaluation of the Finantial Situation of a Company and Proposals to its Improvement
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the financial situation of HARTMANN – RICO a.s. for the period 2019 – 2023. Based on the financial analysis, proposals are made to improve its financial situation. The first theoretical part is focused on defining the concepts, methods and indicators of financial analysis. The second part presents the selected company and uses the aforementioned theoretical knowledge to analyze HARTMANN – RICO a.s. The last part is devoted to proposals to improve the company's financial situation
Marketing Plan of the Selected Company
Táto bakalárska práca sa zameriava na vytvorenie marketingového plánu pre poradenskú službu pri kúpe auta s názvom Sibia. V teoretickej časti sú popísané pojmy a metódy súvisiace s tvorbou marketingového plánu. Analytická časť obsahuje analýzu prostredia, konkurencie, SWOT analýzu a analýzu súčasných marketingových aktivít.
This thesis deals with the reconstruction of detailed, color-consistent, and seamless textures of large planar objects from multiple photographs taken under varying conditions. The main contribution is the development of a system that combines geometric alignment based on homography and optical alignment using the SEA-RAFT model, followed by enhancement of the reference surface image using a deep neural network of the U-Net type. The models trained on both synthetic and real data effectively suppress color and other visual inaccuracies, remove seams, and significantly improve the sharpness of the output texture. The results were evaluated by PSNR and SSIM metrics. The experiments confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed solution and its potential for digitizing maps, documents, or other posters where a high quality image cannot be captured in a single shot
Software Layer for Power Management of Embedded Systems
This thesis aims to analyze the power management issue in modern microcontrollers and to design a library for their efficient control. The work focuses on defining requirements, designing, and implementing a low-power management library that supports various microcontrollers from leading manufacturers. The library’s functionality will be validated using test suites that simulate real-world applications. These test suites will be made publicly available, allowing other developers to compare the results with existing libraries and different types of microcontrollers
Proposal to Supplement the Investment Portfolio of the Fund of Qualified Investors.
The presented bachelor's thesis addresses the proposal to supplement the equity portfolio of a qualified investor fund with companies from the consumer cyclical sector, specifically from the luxury textiles and apparel industry. The theoretical and legal part of the thesis focuses on the functioning of investment funds, particularly hedge funds and their Czech equivalent, qualified investor funds. It also introduces joint-stock companies and securities, fundamental analysis, financial analysis, intercompany comparison, and bankruptcy models. The practical part begins with a description of the fund's statute, the requirements of its management, and the initial selection of equity securities. The selected companies are subsequently subjected to financial analysis and comparison using a scoring method and spider analysis. The top-rated securities are further examined using Altman's bankruptcy model. The practical section concludes with a proposal to supplement the investment portfolio of the qualified investor fund, based on the results of the conducted analyses
Utilization of Network on Chip Architecture in Modern FPGA Chips
