Title: Motivation of young athletes to continue in athletics Objectives: This bachelor's thesis focuses on analyzing the factors influencing the motivation of young athletes aged 12 to 19 to continue participating in athletics long-term. Using a questionnaire survey conducted among members of a selected athletics club in Prague, it identifies key motivational factors and the impact of the training environment. Based on this comparison, strategies and recommendations are proposed for coaches and parents to support young athletes in staying engaged in sports and reducing dropout rates. Methods: The research was conducted using a quantitative questionnaire survey, based on a modified version of the questionnaire from "Youth Athletes' Sustained Involvement in Elite Sport: An Exploratory Examination of Elements Affecting Their Athletic Participation," (ESPQ), (Wendling et al., 2018). The study sample consisted of athletes aged 12-19 from a single athletics club in Prague. Due to ethical requirements set by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University (FTVS UK), the research was conducted anonymously, and participation of minors required parental consent. The proposed exercises should improve goalkeeper abilities and skills at the top level in the male category. The elements between the individual exercises complement each other and their combination tries to capture the complex abilities of top goalkeepers. Confiscation of Immovable Property under the Decrees of the President of the Republic
Confiscation of Immovable Property under the Decrees of the President of the Republic Abstract This thesis deals with the legal regulation of the confiscation of property as it was established by the Presidential Decrees No. 12/1945 Coll. and No. 108/1945 Coll., the so-called confiscation decrees. The scope of the examined area is limited to immovable property only, so that the thesis does not lose its clarity. On the other hand, the thesis also deals with a specificity that is directly related to the confiscation of immovable property - the principle of intabulation and its relation to confiscation. The main aim of this thesis is a thorough analysis of confiscation decrees, including their relationship to other legal provisions. This thesis is divided into seven chapters. The purpose of the first chapter is to place the confiscation decrees within both a legal and historical framework. It discusses decree-based lawmaking in general, the relationship between confiscation and the expulsion of the German population, as well as the concept of so-called settlement law. The notion of confiscation itself and its difference from other interferences with property rights are also explained. The approach and perspective of post-Velvet Revolutionary jurisprudence on confiscation is also briefly discussed. The second..
Sensory-Processing Sensitivity and Psychological Resilience: Interaction in the Context of Coping with Stress
This thesis focuses on exploring aspects of the relationship between high sensitivity and psychological resilience in the context of coping with stress. The aim of the study is to map how highly sensitive individuals perceive their sensitivity and resilience, and how they cope with stressful situations. The theoretical part includes a definition of high sensitivity and its distinction from related concepts, an introduction to the concept of resilience and the history of its research, a description of selected coping strategy theories, and finally, an overview of existing research linking high sensitivity and stress management. The primary theoretical framework through which the data are interpreted is the theory of Sensory Processing Sensitivity developed by Elaine and Arthur Aron. The empirical part presents the process and results of research conducted using a qualitative methodology. Eight semi-structured interviews were conducted with adult participants aged 20 to 35 who identify as highly sensitive. The data obtained from the interviews were subsequently analyzed using thematic analysis. Rodents as Model Group in Teaching
This bachelor thesis focuses on the integration of the topic of rodents into science education at the lower secondary school level. The Framework Educational Programme allocates limited space to the study of mammals, which often leads to a superficial approach to this numerous and ecologically significant group of animals. The aim of this thesis is to create methodological support for teachers to help them prepare quality lessons on this topic. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the general characteristics of rodents, their importance for humans, the benefits they provide, as well as the damage they can cause. Selected rodent families occurring in the Czech Republic are described in more detail. The practical part includes the design and implementation of a model lesson on rodents, including its evaluation. The thesis also contains a worksheet designed for use in the environment of Prague Zoo, accompanied by methodological guidelines. The outputs of this thesis may serve as a resource and inspiration for future teachers when preparing science lessons focused on the rodent group.
