No full textThe main objective of the final thesis is to analyze the school educational programs of selected elementary schools, from the perspective of the implementation of financial literacy standards. Another objective is to map how financial education is carried out in the given schools (teaching methods used, teaching materials, etc.). Based on this analysis, the author will propose recommendations that could lead to improvement of teaching in this area. This recommendation should also include a proposal for teaching activities that would serve to strengthen the financial literacy of students. When preparing her final thesis, the author will first study the relevant professional literature, or documents aimed at financial education within the Czech Republic

The thesis consists of the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to the summary of knowledges about small-classes schools, the description of the amendmentof the Education law and the reaction of the expert´s public because of the intention of state to merge schools under the therms of regional education system. The practical part continues in the case study of the selected municipality in the district of Kladno. It presents the possibilities of unifying of local primary school and kindergarten into one legal entity. Economic performance of a business entity in the hotel industry
No full textThe bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of economic performance and labor productivity of a selected business entity in the hotel industry in České Budějovice. The aim is to evaluate its financial and operational results, to identify key factors affecting performance and to propose recommendations for improving its management. The first part of the thesis describes the indicators of business performance and labor productivity, along with methods for their measurement. It also provides a characterization of tourism and the hotel industry. Additionally, it examines the impact of economic and social changes on the hospitality sector. The practical part is devoted to a detailed analysis of the economic performance as well as financial and operational indicators of the entity based on data from the period of 2018-2023 and compares them between businesses. This analysis highlights the importance of regular performance evaluation as a tool for effective strategic decision-making. The results of the work serve as a foundation for improving the current state of the selected hotel entity

No full textThe bachelor´s thesis focuses on the diagnosis of throat swabs for the presence of Streptococcus pyogenes in the years 2019 to 2023. The aim was to acquire the technique of processing swabs from the upper respiratory tract, to perform laboratory diagnostics of bacteria cultures with a focus on the identification of S. pyogenes, and subsequently to carry out statistical analysis of the collected data. Individual samples were processed and evaluated in accordance with standard laboratory procedures. As part of the analysis, each year was assessed, and the annual and monthly occurrences of positive findings were compared, along with their distribution across different age groups. The results indicate that the number of positive cases during the observed period shows an increasing trend, which can be considered a significant finding. As expected, the results of the study show that the highest positivity rate was observed in patients aged 4 to 15 years, corresponding to the preschool and school-age groups. The disease also exhibits a seasonal pattern, with the highest incidence observed from the autumn months through winter and into early spring
Transformation of the City Spa – Náměstí Svobody in Znojmo
No full textIn this project, I am developing a proposal for the conversion of the former city spa building in Znojmo into a new City Library, according to the requirements agreed upon with the director of the City Library in Znojmo. The project also includes the surrounding area, including the building’s plot and a proposal for the reconstruction of Svoboda Square. I added a new part to the building, achieving a symmetrical floor plan. The design cleverly responds to the limitations of the building’s previous function – for example, by placing a lecture hall in the space of the former swimming pool

No full textIn my bachelor thesis I’m searching for radical inclusivity and I’m trying to find again solid architecture. The typology of the Long house comes from this contradiction, which I’m inserting into the ruin of shopping mall Letná in Brno-Bystrc. My effort is to propose to this locality an alternative and an option with my design. My goal wasn’t to find radically new, which would rewrite the history of the locality. Instead, I’m trying to create a collective history from the locality, from its work and options
Assessing Economic Situation of a Company and Proposals for Its Improvement
No full textThis thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the economic condition of Lear Corporation Czech Republic s.r.o. and prediction of future development using statistical methods. The theoretical part of the thesis provides an overview of key financial ratios and methods such as time series analysis, regression and correlation analysis. In the analytical part, individual financial ratios are calculated and evaluated, which are then subjected to in-depth statistical analysis. This analysis includes, among other things, the prediction of values for the next two economic periods and the examination of interdependencies between the indicators by means of correlation analysis. The final part of the thesis contains proposals for measures based on the results of the analysis and aimed at improving the economic situation of the company. These proposals are designed to help the company better face future challenges and strengthen its financial stability
Tactile feedback in virtual reality

Next, the different receptors that allow humans to perceive tactile sensations are discussed, as well as examples of current methods of tactile stimulation. The last part is dedicated to the design and implementation of a prototype of a technical solution of a glove that applies tactile and force feedback to the user's fingers when interacting with objects in a virtual environment
Nanoelectronic devices on graphene prepared by AFM local anodic oxidation
No full textGrafen je velmi slibný materiál pro elektroniku a senzory díky své vysoké pohyblivosti nosičů náboje a elektronické citlivosti na adsorbované látky. Aby bylo možné vytvářet elektronická zařízení, je třeba v grafenu vytvářet izolační bariéry, a pro potřeby selektivních senzorů je nutné grafen funkcionalizovat. Oba tyto požadavky lze splnit oxidací grafenu. V této práci jsme se zaměřili na laterální modifikaci grafenu pomocí lokální anodické oxidace (LAO) v prostředí mikroskopu atomárních sil (AFM). Vytvořené nanostrukturní bariéry byly analyzovány pomocí Kelvinovy sondové silové mikroskopie (KPFM) a současně transportními měřeními za různých podmínek vlhkosti. Tato měření odhalila vliv vlhkosti na difuzi náboje do dielektrického substrátu SiO2 a časové chování grafenových a grafenoxidových (GO) struktur. Kombinace KPFM a transportních měření poskytuje komplexní pohled na šíření náboje v nanostrukturách z grafenu/grafenoxidu a jejich vhodnost pro aplikace v oblasti nanoelektroniky a biosenzoriky
