Implementation of automatic beverage production equipment control
The thesis describes the concept and realization of drink preparation system control. The assembly is based on a coffee machine, for which a system for cup manipulation has been created. The system contains a microcomputer and microcontrollers that control all its parts, including the coffee machine itself. The system is able to communicate with the user using HMI touchscreen. The thesis describes used hardware equipment, controlling methods of system parts and software used for control, as well as the description of communication protocol
Diversity antennas for wireless ranging
Proposal to improve the customer conversion of the start-up company
Sanitation Installation and Gas Installation in a Boarding House with a Restaurant
The bachelor thesis focuses on the health and gas installations in a guesthouse with a restaurant with three floors. The theoretical part deals with grease traps. The calculation and design part focuses on the specific design of the sewerage, water and gas pipelines in the guesthouse with restaurant and the subsequent connection of these networks to the existing utilities
Design of an exchange head and workstation of a horizontal milling and boring CNC machine tool for in-process measurement purposes
The introductory part of this thesis deals with the issue of part measurement, workpiece probes and includes a basic introduction to conventional coordinate machines. The second part presents portable measuring devices, their use and comparison. The next parts focus on the design of the measurement solution using a portable measuring arm on horizontal machinining tools, including a comparison of the result with the existing laser tracker solution
Marketing Communication of the Selected Retail Store
The thesis deals with the marketing communication of a selected retail store focusing mainly on food sales. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of basic theoretical concepts related to the topic. The second part of this thesis deals with the introduction of the company and the analysis of the current situation, supplemented by the actual research. The last part of the thesis is devoted to proposals leading to the improvement of the current state of marketing communication in the selected retail store
Economic Efficiency and Financial Feasibility of Investment Project
This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of economic efficiency and financial feasibility of investment projects. The theoretical part discusses the basic concepts related to investment projects, describes the principles of their economic and financial assessment and summarizes the methods commonly used in this assessment. In the following practical part, these theoretical findings are illustrated by a case study of a specific railway construction, for which its economic efficiency and financial feasibility are analysed. This analysis is prepared according to both the old and the new departmental methodology and then their results are compared
Comparison of the microbial composition of mould cheeses commercially available in the Czech Republic with the French Saint-Nectaire cheese
The main aim of this work is the comparison of French Saint-Nectaire cheese with mold cheeses available in the Czech Republic in term of their microbial composition and aromatic profile. Hermelín, Camembert, Niva and Gorgonzola were selected for this analysis. Microorganisms commonly occurring in mold cheeses were selected based on literary research. These microorganisms were identified using RT-PCR with DNA isolated from cheese samples. Lactococcus lactis and Penicillium camemberti were found in all cheese samples. Aromatic compounds were analysed using HS-SPME-GC-MS. 4 common compounds for all four cheeses. They were nonan-2-one, undecan-2-one, heptan-2-one and non-8-en-2-one. It is possible to infer that analysed samples were in some instances like Saint-Nectaire cheese, although they are similar with each other as well. Saint-Nectaire is microbially most similar to Hermelín. Gorgonzola and Camembert has the closest aromatic profile
Possibilities and limitations of the synthetic methane (SNG) production at district heating sources
This thesis explores the potential for producing synthetic methane (SNG) using carbon dioxide captured from flue gases and hydrogen obtained via water electrolysis. The introduction summarizes various methods of methane production and presents different technologies for carbon dioxide separation. The main part of the thesis focuses on calculating the amount of methane produced in methanation reactors using the Sabatier reaction. The computational section includes a fuel analysis, the design of a basic thermal cycle for a heating plant, the carbon dioxide separation process, electrolysis, and the methanation process. At the end, the basic dimensions of the proposed equipment are presented, and critical points of the system are identified
Modeling of PMS motor using machine learning methods
The aim of this diploma thesis is the application of machine learning methods for the development of a PMSM model, which, unlike classical mathematical model, can also capture various types of nonlinearities occurring in a real motor. Part of this work focuses on the dynamics of the PMSM, theoretical introduction to the modeling of dynamic systems using neural networks, and acquiring the necessary knowledge for the design of the PMSM model. PMSM models are designed and evaluated using a Feedforward Neural Network, a Recurrent Neural Network, and their combination. The result of this thesis is the integration of an analytical d-q model of the PMSM, implemented as a custom recurrent layer in Keras. This layer is used in combination with neural models to create a hybrid model that is suitable for predicting d-q currents under various load conditions and desired speeds
