Consensual Ways of Processing Criminal Cases
The topic of this thesis is consensual ways of processing criminal cases. In the introduction, the basic models of criminal justice are analyzed, specifically adversarial procedure coming from the Anglo-American legal culture and inquisitorial procedure by origin from the continental legal system. The text deals with their historical development, basic characteristics and distinguishing features. The essence of the chapter is the influence of the interweaving of elements of these systems on the basic principles of continental criminal procedure with an accent on the recent amendment of the Criminal Code No. 333/2020 Coll. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the agreement on guilt and punishment, guilty plea, undisputed facts and marginally also the criminal warrant. These are consensual ways of processing criminal cases that cannot be classified as a subset of diversions. This is mainly due to their condemning meritorious essence and purpose, which is primarily an effort to rationalize criminal justice, i.e. to speed it up and make it more efficient. The third part deals with diversions in the narrower sense, or traditional diversions, which are conditional discontinuance of criminal prosecution, conditional delaying of submission of a proposal for punishment, approval of settlement and..
Case Study of Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient after total hip replacement
Author: Soňa Hanzlíková Supervisor: Mgr. Svatava Neuwirthová Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient after total hip replacement Objective: This thesis focuses on the topic of diagnosis and the provision of physiotherapeutic care following the implantation of a total hip replacement (THR). The aim is to present a case study of a patient after THR and to describe effective methods and approaches used in restoring joint function after surgery. Methods: The theoretical part of this bachelor's thesis primarily deals with the anatomy and overall structure surrounding the hip joint, including aspects of kinesiology and biomechanics. It then addresses the condition of coxarthrosis-its causes, clinical presentation, and overall prognosis. The thesis also covers total hip arthroplasty, both physiotherapeutic and medical care before and after the surgery, as well as subsequent rehabilitation and lifestyle modifications for patients with a joint replacement. The practical section compares the initial and final kinesiology assessments, evaluates the effects of therapy, and presents specific therapeutic sessions. Results: During the course of therapy, the patient showed positive progress in the lower limb, particularly in muscle strength, hip joint range of motion, and joint stability. The..
Komparace konvenčního a konzervačního zpracování půdy
This work deals with the difference between conventional and conservation tillage methods. The focus of this work is on the work operations in pre-sowing soil prepa-ration. Furthermore, variable costs for individual operations are determined. Subse-quently, a comparison of the collected samples is made, where the average number of leaves per and the average length of the root system per plant are determined
Selected aspects of controlled reproduction of the burbot (Lota lota).
In the group of reared burbot aged 2+ (n = 21), 100 % of adult males (weight 199.9 ? 105.8 g; l.t. 298.3 ? 49.9 mm; l.c. 272.2 ? 48.0 mm) and 64 % of adult females (weight 236.6 ? 59.9 g; l.t. 320.9 ? 24.9 mm; l.c. 293.3 ? 24.6 mm) were identified by autopsy before spawning period. Gonadosomatic index (GSI) of adult males (n = 10) was 15.0 ? 3.1%, that of adult females (n = 7) was 16.4 ? 5.3%, hepatosomatic index of adult males was 4.67 ? 1.04%, that of adult females was 4.28 ? 0.77 %. The relative proportion of dressed carcass weight with skin was 52.9 ? 4.08 % in adult males and 49.6 ? 5.4 % in adult females. In the semi-artificial spawning group, spontaneously ovulated eggs (n = 10) with an average weight of 779.8 + 280.3 g were placed in a fine fabric cage together with males, the derived pseudogonadosomatic index (pGSI) was 19.4 ? 4.56 % and the average relative fecundity was 46.1 ? 104.9 thousand eggs.kg-1. In a group of artificially spawned spontaneously ovulated females (n = 10) with an average weight of 344.0 ? 226.6 g, the pGSI was 17.6 ? 4.2 % and the relative fertility was 405.4 ? 95.7 thousand eggs.kg-1. The average weight of one artificially spawned unfertilized unhydrated eggs was 0.435 ? 0.015 g. The dependence of the absolute fertility of females (y; eggs) on their weight before spawning (x; g) in the semi-artificially spawned group is expressed by the relationship y = -0.0008x2 + 1.7467x - 460.12 (R? = 0.9577), in the group of artificially spawned was relationship y = -0.0001x2 + 0.4573x - 3.192 (R? = 0.8538). The average milt volume of artificially spawned males (n = 10) weighing 213.2 ? 62.9 g was 3.11 ? 1.41 ml and 15.51 ? 6.02 ml.kg-1, respectively. Handling of fish was done under anaesthesia using clove oil (0.03 ml.l-1). Under semi-operating conditions, the effect of the duration of egg unsticking with Savo (active ingredient sodium hypochlorite) on hatchability was tested. A solution with a concentration of 0.03% of the active ingredient was applied 2 mins after activation of the artificially spawning eggs. The treated eggs were incubated in flow-through small Zug bottles. Differences in hatchability of hatchlings hatched between all groups, unstickered for 30, 60 and 90 s (45.4 ? 1.7 to 51.5 ? 1.7 %) and the control group (28.0 ? 1.1 %) were statistically significant (p 0.05), but not between the experimental groups with each other. Using our own data and those of other authors (n = 15), the dependence of incubation time (y; days) on mean water temperature (x; °C) was calculated, expressed by the relationship y = 112.13e-0.252x (R? = 0.81)
Effect of hybrid varieties on silage maize yield formation
Maize is an important crop in terms of human and cattle nutrition and also plays an important role as an energy crop for biogas plants. In order to achieve high yields in maize cultivation, attention must be paid not only to agrotechnics, but also to nutrition, protection and the choice of the right maize hybrid. Recently, the drought resistance of the hybrid has also become important. Eighteen maize hybrids with FAO numbers ranging from 220 to 270 were evaluated. The hybrids evaluated were two-line (Sc.) and three-line (Tc.) hybrids as these hybrids are the most used in practice. The evaluation took place in the Highlands under conditions of the potato production area. It was a small-plot experiment. SM Perseus and Bone hybrids were the best hybrids from the evaluation. SM Perseus is a three-line (Tc.) early hybrid (FAO 250) and Bone is a two-line (Sc.) early hybrid (FAO 250)
Circular economy and its promotion in an industrial enterprise
The thesis focuses on the concept of the circular economy and its application within an industrial enterprise. The aim is to clarify the fundamental principles of this economic model, its development within the European Union and the Czech Republic, and subsequently to analyze the possibilities for its implementation in a selected company. The theoretical part examines the differences between the linear and circular economy, presents various circular business models, and describes the legislative framework as well as the environmental aspects of the circular economy. The practical part analyzes the implementation of circular economy principles in an industrial enterprise that specializes in manufacturing for one of the world's largest retail networks - IKEA. Key factors influencing successful implementation are identified through the analysis of internal company documents and the use of strategic tools for evaluating the internal and external environment. The findings show that even small and medium-sized enterprises can achieve both environmental and economic benefits through innovation, resource savings, and process optimization
Energy insecurity and household energy consumption
The thesis focuses on the analysis of the willingness of households in the South Bohemia Region to change their energy consumption patterns in the context of the current energy uncertainty. The main research question is: "Does the energy literacy of households influence their willingness to adjust consumption patterns?" The paper historically examines the evolution of energy literacy and its relationship to sustainable development and energy insecurity. A quantitative research method, namely a questionnaire survey, was used to address the stated issue, which elicits respondents' views and attitudes on issues related to energy consumption and their ability to cope with energy insecurity. The questionnaire was distributed to households in different parts of the South Bohemia Region. Statistical methods, including chi- square test, were applied for data analysis
Plant-based dairy alternatives on the Czech market
The thesis deals with the topic of plant-based dairy alternatives. Its aim is to evaluate the demand and supply of these products on the Czech market. The research is based on a combination of a field survey and a questionnaire survey, which is complemented by the analysis of secondary data from the Passport database. The field survey focusing on the supply of plant-based dairy alternatives provides data on availability, price level and sales presentation in selected retail chains. The results of the questionnaire survey provide insights into attitudes and factors influencing consumption behaviour, which were used to assess the demand for these products on the Czech market. The analysis of secondary data from the Passport database provided a comprehensive view of the plant-based dairy alternatives market in the Czech Republic in 2024 and, among other things, confirmed the relevance of the field survey. The results of this thesis offer an up-to-date view of the plant-based dairy alternatives market in the Czech Republic and provide practical recommendations for its further development
Food processing by-products as an ingredient for functional bakery products
Currently, the number of people who are not indifferent to how they eat is growing; therefore, they include foods in their diet that bring them certain health benefits. Such foods that can be enriched in a certain way are bakery products. For the needs of the diploma thesis, by-products generated during food processing were used as enriching material. More specifically, flour prepared from an oilseed cake of flax, milk thistle and sesame were used. The aim was to evaluate the influence of the addition of oilseed cake flours on the physical, technological and chemical properties of bread. The main idea was to create bakery products that would meet the requirements for functional food. Since bread is included in the daily diet, it represents an ideal carrier medium for biologically active substances that are not normally found in bakery products in higher concentrations. In the laboratory of the Department of Food Biotechnology and Quallity of Agricultural Products, four groups of bread were prepared: control, enriched with flax, milk thistle and sesame oilseed cake flour. The work was focused on the analysis of antioxidant, physicochemical and sensory properties. From the above analyses, it was found that by adding flours from oil seeds, we change the physical, chemical and oraganoleptic properties of the finished products. The latter include changes in texture, color, taste or aroma. In addition, the antioxidant activity of fortified products and the total number of polyphenols contained in them increased
Význam fyzioterapeutických intervencí a prevence pro správné držení těla při sezení u mladistvých
This bachelor thesis explores the impact of prolonged sitting on posture in adolescents and emphasizes the importance of preventive and therapeutic physiotherapy interventions. The theoretical part describes postural ontogenesis and psychomotor development. Furthermore, it addresses the issues of posture, movement, and their influence on the development of the musculoskeletal system. The section also outlines strategies for compensating the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle and concludes with a discussion on the influence of the school environment. The aim of the thesis is to identify the most common musculoskeletal disorders among adolescents, assess their knowledge of proper movement habits and their effect on the postural system. Another objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of applied therapeutic methods on posture while sitting. Lastly, the work aims to develop an educational material for adolescents, providing essential information on the issue and its prevention. The practical part includes both qualitative research in the form of case studies and quantitative research based on a questionnaire survey. The qualitative section involved three students from septima (grade 7) at the Trhové Sviny Grammar School. Each participant completed twelve therapy sessions, starting with an initial and ending with a final kinesiological assessment. The therapy included guided exercise sessions, followed by individually tailored exercises based on the participants' needs. The intervention also included education about prevention strategies, appropriate compensatory exercises, and principles of correct sitting posture. Additionally, all three participants as well as each class in the school received an educational brochure. The entire grammar school participated in the questionnaire survey, which consisted of 15 questions. The outcomes of the therapies and the survey results are summarized in the chapter Results
