    This thesis focused on the design and implementation of a Business Intelligence solution in a manufacturing environment. The main objective was to develop a comprehensive analytical tool that enabled automated processing of production data, identification of errors, and visualization of key performance indicators through interactive reports in Power BI. As part of the project, a relational data model was proposed, ETL logic was implemented using stored procedures in T-SQL, and scheduled data processing was ensured via SQL Server Agent. The resulting solution provided clear reporting, allowing users without technical expertise to analyze production performance and error rates. The thesis demonstrated the benefits of the BI solution in improving efficiency and supporting decision-making within the manufacturing company

    Numerical analysis of annular sealing gap influence on centrifugal pump performance

    This master’s thesis deals with the numerical analysis of the influence of various sealing ring geometries in annular seals on selected parameters of a radial centrifugal pump. CFD simulations were used to investigate design modifications including variations in sealing ring thickness, radial grooving of both rotor and stator, changes in connection angle, and isotropic grooving of the stator surface. The calculations were performed on a pump assembly with a specific speed of 108108 min1min^{-1}. The results showed that the most significant factor affecting both efficiency and dynamic behavior was the thickness of the front sealing ring. Among all tested sealing ring shape modifications, the labyrinth seal geometry was identified as the most effective in terms of efficiency, reducing leakage flow, and minimizing both the amplitude and frequency of the radial force. In addition, sufficiently deep and frequent isotropic grooving led to a change in the shape of the efficiency curve and a reduction in the frequency of radial force amplitude oscillation

The individual components of the measuring unit are described, along with procedures for activation and testing. A key part of the project is the design of a synchronization unit and its segments for level and time calibration of the measurement units. The calibration is based on time impulses generated by a GNSS module and their subsequent processing outside the unit into a suitable form for transmission

    Táto práca skúma možnosti optimalizácie formálnych metód používaných pri riešení reťazcových obmedzení pomocou neurónových sietí. Zaoberáme sa konkrétne nástrojom Z3-noodler vyvíjaným tímom Verifit na VUT FIT v Brne. Najskôr vysvetľujeme potrebné prerekvizity v podobe definícií a predstavujeme súčasnú implementáciu. Potom znázorňujeme návrh nášho riešenia s použitím grafových neurónových sietí, extrakciu dát, trénovanie a vyhodnotenie modelu a jeho nasadenie do Z3-noodler. Nakoniec pomocou rôznych metík dokazujeme že neurónové siete sú schopné učiť sa zmyslupné vzťahy z nedeterministických konečných automatov a to že nasadenie modelu je skutočná výzva nakoľko to prináša väčšiu výpočetnú náročnosť a to že neurónové siete sa môžu mýliť

    Tato práce se zaměřuje na použití Kalmanova filtru v reálném čase ke zpracování údajů o poloze získaných ze čtyřkvadrantové fotodiody. Tato fotodioda detekuje horizontálně vysílaný laserový paprsek procházející zemskou atmosférou. Ke zpracování dat se používá vývojová deska Nucleo-STM32 Nucleo-64 (STM32F401RE) a k převodu fotoproudu na napětí se používá navržená deska plošných spojů (PCB). Práce také porovnává filtrovaná a nefiltrovaná s algoritmem klouzavého průměru. Dále popisuje různé typy fotodiod, principy jejich činnosti, použití a rozdíly. Dále jsou popsány metody detekce polohy paprsku. Jsou shrnuty vlastnosti šíření paprsku v optice ve volném prostoru a nakonec jsou popsány typy Kalmanových filtrů, jejich limity a aplikace

    Geodesics in Sub-Riemannian Geometry

    This thesis investigates the fundamental ideas and comparative structure of Riemannian and sub- Riemannian geodesics, the curves that locally minimise length. Geodesics, as defined variationally and by the Levi-Civita connection, are the shortest and straightest paths in Riemannian geometry. By limiting motion to a particular distribution within the tangent bundle, sub-Riemannian geometry expands on these ideas and creates a more complex and diverse class of geodesics, including regular and singular types. A thorough classification of normal and abnormal geodesics can beachieved by the study’s emphasis on the Lagrangian framework for obtaining geodesic equations under non-holonomic constraints

    The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to propose a comprehensive design solution for bus stops, pedestrian sidewalks, and a cycle route along Road II/386 in the southern part of the municipality of Chudčice. The study seeks to closely align with the investor's vision while adhering to applicable standards and taking into account local site conditions. The relocation of the bus stops is intended to enhance traffic safety in the area. Due to the absence of pedestrian sidewalks and the presence of a designated cycle route along the segment, a shared-use path for both pedestrians and cyclists is proposed. The studied section includes a hazardous horizontal curve located outside the built-up area (rural section). In its immediate vicinity, Road II/386 intersects with a local road under substandard visibility conditions. A reduction in speed is proposed to increase safety within the aforementioned curve and, at the same time, ensure compliance with the required stopping sight distance at the intersection

    Single-cylinder test engine

    This thesis investigates the balancing assembly of a Ricardo single-cylinder test engine fitted with a Tatra cylinder unit. Due to the absence of technical documentation, the balancing assembly specifically the balance shafts designed to eliminate the effect of inertial forces of reciprocating components was examined experimentally. Since no engineering drawings were available, the dimensional parameters of the power unit were determined via reverseengineering methods, in particular by means of 3D scanning technology. The balance assembly was then evaluated using analytical calculations. The balance assembly was then evaluated using analytical calculations. Based on the calculation results, appropriate modifications to the counterweights on the balance shafts were proposed. In designing the revised counterweights, not only the current configuration of the power unit but also a future conversion of the test engine to hydrogen combustion were taken into account. Using dimensions obtained from the 3D scans and insights from the analytical analysis, a configurable 3D CAD model of the counterweight was developed, which can be adapted for any subsequent changes to the cylinder unit associated with fuel-type conversions
