No full textMutual defence clause under Article 42(7) TEU: legal analysis, significance, and relationship to Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty Abstract The thesis deals with the mutual defence clause under Article 42(7) TEU, its legal nature, and its relationship to Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty and Article 222 TFEU. Methodologically, it is based on a dogmatic analysis of primary law, a comparison of primary law, EU documents, and a case study of the activation of the clause by France in 2015 carried out as part of the thesis. The thesis examines whether Article 42(7) TEU constitutes a functional legal basis for the EU's common defence, defines its scope and conditions of application, and assesses its significance for the EU's strategic autonomy. The thesis concludes that Article 42(7) TEU constitutes a binding legal norm that requires Member States to provide assistance to an attacked member "by all means at their disposal," subject to the corrective provisions of Article 51 of the UN Charter and the special nature of the security and defence policies of certain Member States. The activation of the clause itself is rapid, based on the intergovernmental principle and without the direct involvement of EU institutions. No full textEquality of Access to Education in the Czech Republic: Between Ideal and Reality Abstract This thesis addresses the issue of equality in access to education in the Czech Republic, both in terms of the legal framework and its practical implementation in schools. The main objective is to analyse the legal regulation of equality in education at the primary level, identify barriers that prevent its realization, and assess whether the adopted measures truly ensure equal opportunities for all pupils. The first part focuses on the theoretical definition of equality and discrimination, considered not only from a legal perspective but also within a broader social context. The second part summarizes the legal foundations of equal access to education at the international, European, and national levels, with reference to the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, the Education Act, and the Anti-Discrimination Act. The third part deals with socio-economic, health-related, and cultural factors influencing inequality in education and shows how these factors affect students' educational opportunities. The primary aim was to define the fundamental concepts and principles of generative AI, analyse the current state of copyright law as applied to AI-assisted creation and complement this with selected foreign approaches, concluding with an outline of potential legislative developments aimed at enhancing legal certainty in this area. The introductory part of the thesis provides a systematic analysis of definitions and principles of artificial intelligence, its development and characteristics, with an emphasis on generative AI systems. Mothers of children with Arthrogryposis
No full textThis thesis explores the experiences of mothers caring for children diagnosed with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC), focusing on their perceptions of motherhood, coping strategies in daily caregiving, and the specific needs they expect from social and institutional support systems. Using qualitative semi-structured interviews and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), the research aims to deeply understand the emotional and practical challenges faced by these mothers and identify factors influencing their adaptation to this demanding role. Findings reveal that caring for a child with AMC profoundly shapes maternal identity, daily life, and relationships. While mothers encounter significant psychological and physical burdens, they also develop various adaptive strategies. The study highlights insufficient institutional support, particularly in employment opportunities, assistance services, and social sharing, as well as the critical need for sensitive and respectful communication with professionals and society. This work offers valuable insights into a frequently overlooked area, providing recommendations to improve the quality of life for these mothers and enhance the support offered by society and institutions. This thesis focuses on the onboarding process of new employees in social services as a key prerequisite for ensuring quality care and team stability. The aim is to identify the main factors influencing successful adaptation and to propose measures for enhancing its effectiveness. The theoretical part draws on insights from the fields of employee adaptation, leadership, team collaboration, and adult learning. The research part is based on an analysis of internal organizational documents and semi-structured interviews with the service manager, line managers, and direct care workers. The findings show that effective adaptation is not merely a matter of formal information transfer but requires a systematic support system, strong leadership, and a collaborative work environment. Methodology of interpretation of archaeological exhibitions to pupils of younger and older school age
No full textThis dissertation thesis deals with the development and theoretical justification of a comprehensive methodology for interpreting archaeological exhibitions for primary school pupils. The work responds to the identified gap between the educational potential of contemporary, critically and anthropologically oriented archaeology and the current educational practice in the Czech context. Based on an interdisciplinary synthesis of knowledge from archaeology, pedagogy and didactics, museum pedagogy and heritage interpretation, and cultural anthropology, a methodology integrating modern theoretical approaches with effective educational strategies was designed. The methodological framework employs a mixed-methods research design, including theoretical analysis, empirical research (questionnaire survey among primary school teachers, N=374; analysis of evaluation questionnaires, N=170), and comparative analysis of case studies. Empirical research confirmed teachers' high demand for interactive, experiential approaches based on working with material sources and identified the need for more systematic cooperation between schools and museums. Support of the reflectivity in the home caring service
No full text7 Abstract This thesis explores the possibilities of supporting reflectivity within the context of home-based social care services. It focuses on the reflective practices of social service workers and their supervisors, examining which forms of reflectivity are naturally present, what needs exist in this area, and how reflective elements could be strengthened in everyday practice. The work is theoretically grounded in the approach of reflective social work and draws on current professional concepts of professional reflection and reflexivity. The research was conducted as a qualitative action research project with participatory elements within the author's own organization. The methodological strategy included group interviews with supervisors, focus groups with frontline care workers, and supplementary observation. The individual research activities built upon each other and were developed in dialogue with the research participants. Ongoing reflection on the researcher's position and process was an essential part of the project. The results show that informal and spontaneous forms of reflective practice do exist in social care, but they are rarely named or intentionally cultivated.
