Quality of life in patients with migraine on biological treatment
The bachelor thesis is to focus on the quality of life in patients with biological treatment. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the quality of life in patients suffering with migraine who have failed at least two prophylactic treatments and who have been included on the treatment with medicine product erenumab or fremanezumab. The theoretical part describes the basic information related to headache, migraine categories, therapy options and modern approaches of the prophylactic treatments using monoclonal antibodies. It also focuses on nursing care of the patients with migraine in the outpatient environment including education relates to subcutaneous administration of medicine product via pre-filled injection and its manipulation with. And finally focuses on the patients' quality of life and how migraine affects their daily activities. The empirical part uses quantitative method of retrospective assessment with valuable sample of 92 patients using the standardized questionnaire HIT-6. Statistical evaluation of the hypotheses including discussion of the own assessment results in comparison with the results of the clinical trials is also involved in this part of thesis. The conclusion of thesis is finding that medicine product erenumab and fremanezumab have the comparable effect and positive impact..

Contemprary queer youth cinematography: continuities and discontinuities
EN This thesis aims to describe the strategies by which representations of non-heterosexuality seek to make non-heterosexuality culturally intelligible. Drawing on theoretical assumptions taken from Judith Butler, specifically the desire of the abjectly excluded for recognition, it will be shown that representations of non-heterosexuality provide a site in which norms of recognisability are negotiated to maintain the possibilities of a liveable life of non- heterosexuality. Films and television series that fulfil the criteria of the coming-of-age genre or school sub-genre and that were produced between 2015 and 2025, such as Love, Simone, Sex Education or Heartstopper, will be analysed. The analysis, based on the methods of paranoid and reparative reading described by Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick, will focus on how the examined works engage with the traditions of their genre and historical ways of depicting non-heterosexuality
The relationship between altenative media and distrust in public media
This bachelor's thesis explores the relationship between the consumption of content from alternative media and the distrust in public media and mainstream media in the context of the current situation in Slovakia. In an era of declining institutional trust and increasing polarization, the aim of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of the motivations and media habits that drive a segment of the audience toward alternative sources of information. To accomplish this, a qualitative research approach utilizing semi-structured interviews was adopted. The sample for the research included eight men between the ages of 50 and 65, purposefully chosen as a demographic group that underwent the shift from traditional media to the digital era. The examination of their stories concentrated on assessing various pre-established hypotheses. The results suggest that the main reasons for seeking alternative media is a profound skepticism towards public media, stemming from the belief that they are influenced by political and economic powers. Additionally, the analysis showed that when there is no news source deemed trustworthy by the respondents, they tend to employ a method of actively weighing opposing narratives and forming their understanding of truth as a personal blend of contrasting viewpoints. Solving linear sparse least squares problem with added a few dense rows
This thesis deals with the least squares problem involving a sparse matrix extended by a few dense rows. The first part of the thesis describes the least squares problem, its fundamental properties, and basic solution methods. The theoretical foundations of methods for solving systems of equations with a sparse matrix extended by several dense rows are then presented. The approaches based on preconditioned iterative methods, the stretching method, and the Schur complement method are described. In the experimental part, the procedure is verified by applying the preconditioned GMRES method to test matrices. These experiments focus on how the number of iterations changes depending on the number of matrix rows considered dense. The results are presented graphically.
