    One span suspension footbridge

    No full text
The thesis focuses on the design and assessment of a single-span suspension footbridge. The suspension design was selected based on three possible variants of the load-bearing system. The structure consists of two symmetrical pylons on one side of the bridge, from which suspension cables extend to support the pre-stressed bridge deck. The clear width between the handrails is four meters. Two models were developed for the construction analysis. The first model was a spatial frame and was used for the global assessment of the structure. The second model was a beam model for a more detailed analysis of the deck in the transverse direction. The global model was also later used for the dynamic analysis

    No full text
The Dlouhé Stráně pumped storage power plant, the largest water structure of its kind in the Czech Republic, represents a unique engineering structure that has been operating successfully for several decades. However, in recent years, the plant operator has faced an increasing number of defects in the asphalt-concrete (AC) casing of the upper reservoir, caused not only by the improper construction of the casing but also by a deficient drainage system. This thesis focuses on the design of repair for the AC casing of the upper reservoir, including the reconstruction of its drainage system. Various options for the reconstruction of the drainage system were developed, with one option selected for detailed elaboration, supported by the relevant drawings. The work also includes an estimate of the financial costs required for the implementation of the designed solution, which includes both the repair of the AC casing and the selected drainage system reconstruction option

Byly použity fluorescenční techniky a metody bez značení, včetně fluorescenční mikroskopie, Försterova rezonančního přenosu energie (FRET), fluorescenční korelační spektroskopie (FCS), fluorescenčně aktivovaného třídění buněk (FACS), generalizované polarizace Laurdanu (GP), izotermické titrační kalorimetrie (ITC), křemenné krystalové mikrováhy s monitorováním disipace (QCM-D), povrchové plazmonové rezonance (SPR), dynamického rozptylu světla (DLS) a zeta potenciálu.

    No full text
Rovněž predikuji související změny ve spotřebě elektřiny, emisích CO2 a příjmech, pokud by podobné IBP politiky byly zavedeny celostátně. Kapitola 2 - Progresivní tarifikace elektřiny a sklon k nákupu elektrických spotřebičů a znečišťujících paliv: Důkazy z přirozeného experimentu - Tato kapitola poskytuje empirické důkazy o vztahu mezi progresivní tarifikací elektřiny (IBP) a sklonem domácností k nákupu velkých..
