Real-Time Hyper-Personalization: Leveraging Generative AI for Ad Targeting Based on Visual Context
This thesis focuses on the design and validation of a dynamic hyper-personalization advertising system in physical retail environments using generative artificial intelligence. The theoretical part summarizes the development of marketing personalization, its psychological mechanisms, and maps relevant AI technologies. The practical part concentrates on the design of a system architecture combining perceptual, inferential, and generative layers, and its deployment within a field experiment conducted in four cosmetic stores. The results of the field experiment showed that hyper- personalized advertising increases customer engagement time, while the effect on purchase probability was not confirmed. The thesis contributes to the empirical understanding of AI-driven personalization in offline environments and proposes directions for future research
Educational Materials for support the teaching of carbohydrates in primary and secondary schools
This bachelor thesis focuses on the teaching of carbohydrates within the context of organic chemistry and their connection to students' everyday lives, using a specific example - cola beverages. The main aim of the thesis was to create three worksheets tailored to different age and knowledge levels of pupils. The materials were designed to be engaging, to foster independent thinking, and to reflect the practical application of acquired knowledge. The thesis includes an analysis of selected textbooks and online educational resources, revealing differences in how the topic of carbohydrates is addressed at various educational levels. It also offers innovative teaching materials with answer keys. The outcome consists of worksheets for lower secondary school, upper secondary school, and an advanced chemistry seminar, which can serve as supplementary teaching tools that support active learning and connect chemical knowledge to students' everyday experiences

Discourse relations of the Prague Discourse Treebank in Universal Dependencies
This thesis introduces a novel approach for integrating discourse relation annotations from the Prague Discourse Treebank into the Universal Dependencies framework. By aligning PDiT annotations transformed into a PDTB-like format with UD's syntactic data generated by UDPipe, we have created a unified representation that links discourse relations to their corresponding syntactic structures. We then conducted machine learn- ing experiments in discourse type classification using this new format, evaluating feature contribution and performance, highlighting the benefits and challenges of the proposed approach and paving the way for further advancements in computational discourse anal- ysis
Generic drug substitution in the intensive care environment

Possibilities for outdoor sports in the town of Rakovník
Title: Possibilities for outdoor sports in the town of Rakovník Aim: The aim of this bachelor thesis was to analyse the current opportunities for outdoor sports in urban environments, specifically in the town of Rakovník. This included mapping green and blue spaces used for outdoor activities and outdoor sports within the town, and conducting interviews with representatives of the municipal office in Rakovník regarding the development strategy for urban green and blue spaces in relation to outdoor sports. Method: Urban green and blue spaces were first identified and analysed using available digital mapping tools (e.g., Mapy.cz). Their use for outdoor sports and outdoor recreational activities was subsequently verified through field research. To gain a deeper understanding of the current situation and future plans, the method of semi-structured interviews was employed. These interviews were conducted with three municipal officials and relevant stakeholders to obtain insights into the current challenges, future perspectives, and development strategies related to urban natural areas suitable for sporting use. Results: The findings have revealed that although Rakovník does not meet the WHO- recommended proportions of urban greenery, it offers very good access to natural landscapes, including the..
Benyodiazepine Dependence from the Perspective of Psychosocial Causes

Prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia - a clinical guideline
This diploma thesis focuses on the prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) and the development of a clinical guideline. Within this guideline, five priority areas have been defined: patient positioning, cuff pressure management, suctionig of the oral cavity, lower respiratory tract and subglottic space, oral hygiene and ventilation circuit hygiene. The thesis develops a standardized clinical guideline for the prevention of VAP, as no unified approach currently exists in the Czech Republic. Healthcare professionals follow various preventive care bundles. Based on a comprehensive literature review, a clinical guideline for the prevention of VAP has been created. Its aim is to reduce the incidence of VAP and to facilitate nursing care. Additionally, the guideline seeks to unify the key priority areas in VAP prevention. The theoretical part provides an overview of ventilator-associated pneumonia, its prevention strategies, existing clinical practice guidelines, and opportunities for education in VAP prevention. The empirical part, based on the literature review, consists of the developed clinical guideline for VAP prevention, presented in both textual and visual form. Due to ongoing discussions surrounding the use of chlorhexidine, a safety-based visual schedule for its application has been..
