    Technostress, Depression and Anxiety in University Students

    This bachelor's thesis examines the relationships between technostress, anxiety, and depression among university students in the Czech Republic. The aim of the research was to explore the associations between these psychological phenomena and selected demographic variables (age, gender) as well as academic characteristics (form, field, and type of study, international status). The study was conducted on a sample of 420 students and employed the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) and the Technostress Scale as measurement instruments

    The bachelor thesis focuses on interpretations of detective works by Ladislav Fuks - Příběh kriminálního rady and Mrtvý v podchodu. Its aim is to explore how a threated and powerless character, formed by the author in the 1960s, is modified, considering the context of Fuks´works during the 1970s. It further sets the two stories in the context of his writing during the Normalization era and establishes how his poetics changed during that time. The thesis explores the potential connection between the detective works and contemporary mindset of the Normalization era, focusing on a person held in the grip of power. Additionally, the bachelor thesis defines the terms genre and motive, based on which a genre and motive analysis of the two narratives is composed

    This bachelor's thesis focuses on the motif of suicide in Richard Weiner's work, specifically in the short stories "Rodina", "Kostajnik", "Netečný divák", "O jednorukém člověku", "Prodavač kohoutků", "Ruce", "Stigma" and "Obnova". The theoretical part is primarily focused on the definition of the term motif. In the practical part, the short stories are individually interpreted and the motif of suicide is analyzed. The findings from the motif analysis are subsequently compared in order to identify shared and contrasting characteristics of the suicide motif in the short stories

The aim of the thesis is to use Unie ROSKA as a case study to illustrate the care provided to patients with multiple sclerosis. The introductory part of the thesis is dedicated to a detailed description of multiple sclerosis, including its causes and symptoms. It also provides an overview of the available support and assistance for MS patients in the Czech Republic. The thesis then examines the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic, highlighting its significance and how it operates. This section describes how non-profit organizations such as Unie ROSKA contribute to improving the quality of life of patients, their goals, and their functioning. A key part of the thesis is a practical case study focused on Unie ROSKA. The study involves an analysis of documents that define the organization's operations, interviews with its members and staff, and participatory observation of the organization's activities. The aim is to provide a deeper insight into the organization's functioning, its funding, legal framework, and its impact on the lives of people with multiple sclerosis and those around them

    The bachelor thesis focuses on the preparation of children for entering primary school in a heterogeneous kindergarten classroom environment. The theoretical part describes school maturity, readiness, individual approach to the child and alternative forms of education, including home education. The practical part is devoted to the validation of the Školkotelka. This methodological manual is used to systematically support the school readiness of preschool children. The aim of the work was to determine whether this product effectively contributes to the development of the necessary competencies in children in a heterogeneous kindergarten class. The results show that the Školkotelka can be a suitable tool for teachers and parents seeking an individual approach and preparation for school

The practical part consists of semi-structured interviews with selected teachers, summarizing their attitudes and experiences in the area of school assessment. It explores how teachers approach assessment in their daily practice, which forms they prefer, how they adapt assessment to individual students, and what obstacles they perceive in the process. Based on the findings, methodological recommendations have been proposed to facilitate and improve the effectiveness of the assessment process in primary schools
