Enhancing business competitive advantage by adopting e-commerce strategy approach in the hotel service industry in Singapore
This research outlines the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) in the area of electronic commerce in the service hotel industry sector in Singapore. It draws implications for hotel's business operators and leaders, focusing especially on recommendations for leveraging electronic commerce technology more effectively in Singapore hotel industry, in capturing more market share, increase shareholders' value and increase customer and staff satisfaction than those hotels in Singapore that does not. The main purpose of this research study was to examine the key performance indicator in enhancing business competitive advantage (BCA) in term of response time, lowering operating cost, accessibility and value -added service relationship, in the hotel's in Singapore. One source of differences in countries' implementation of electronic commerce and in the impact of electronic transactions on business performance and productivity is the extent to which firms incorporate the technology strategically into their business processes. This research does not compare the key performance indicator (ROAR) - response time, operating costs, added value services, and relationship management with other countries but in Singapore only. The researcher strongly recommended further study could be conducted.

The article offers the authors insight on the assessment and adoption of sustainability systems in vineyards. They state that an assessment method is needed to determine if a vineyard is sustainable. They relate that many sustainability programs for viticulture created in 1990 have proposed assessment models to improve sustainability of growers. They say that sustainability assessments are usually demonstrated by perfect intersection between the social, environmental, and economic components.
