Profile of Student Basic Teaching Skills through Online Learning Model Using Peer Assessment on Microteaching Lectures: Profil Keterampilan Dasar Mengajar Mahasiswa melalui Model Pembelajaran Daring Menggunakan Peer Assessment pada Perkuliahan Microteaching
The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of the basic teaching skills of biology education students during microteaching lectures through an online learning model using peer assessment. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study consisted of 17 biology education students in the 6th semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The technique of collecting data through observation uses a research instrument in the form of a rubric for assessing basic teaching skills, which is filled by lecturers and peers. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display and conclusions. The observed teaching skill indicators consist of 8 components. Based on these 8 indicators, the results obtained are the skills of opening and closing learning, explaining skills, questioning skills, discussion guiding skills, and class management skills are in the skilled category, the skills to provide reinforcement and the skills to make variations are in the fairly skilled category, while the skills to use learning media are in the less skilled category. Overall, the basic teaching skills of biology education students have improved during the microetaching exercise using peer assessment
Philippines: Strength and Weakness of Science Curricula
The Philippines is a country in Asia which in its curriculum requires English as the medium of Instruction, even so the scientific ability of students in the Philippines is not so good as seen based on PISA 2018. Many things can be learned from the curriculum of other countries so that it can be an illustration of how the curriculum should be perfected. This article provides an overview of how the process of science lessons taught in Philippine schools and the obstacles it faces. The method used is In depth Interview with qualitative analysis. This article suggests that the medium of instruction is important for the continuity of the learning process in the classroom, at the same time this can be a lesson for schools in any country that will carry out the bilingualization process in their schools or use a second language as a medium of instruction, to pay attention to the long-term effects on students and conduct research. depth before applying the approach
Student Worksheets Based on Virtual Labs: Efforts to Optimize Science Practicum in Pandemic Time: Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis Virtual Lab: Upaya Optimalisasi Praktikum IPA di Masa Pandemi
The use of virtual lab-based students worksheet in science learning aims to optimize practicum activities during the pandemic. Virtual-based students worksheet take advantage of the features that are already available and adapted to the material to be practiced, so knowledge is needed to develop virtual lab-based students worksheet s. The activity of compiling virtual lab-based students worksheet was attended by science teacher participants from private schools in Gresik Regency, with the One Group Pretest Posttest design. Activity participants were given a pretest and then compiled a virtual lab-based students worksheet and posttest. The resulting students worksheet is assessed for feasibility using the students worksheet assessment instrument. The pretest and posttest data were analyzed by N-gain showing an increase of 0.64 in the medium category. The assessment of the participant students worksheet shows that the virtual lab-based students worksheet that have been created are in accordance with the instructions, the category is very feasible, so that it can be implemented as an effort to optimize science practicum during the pandemic
The Validity of Mobile Learning-Based Ryleac Learning Tools for Strengthening Student Character : Validitas Perangkat Pembelajaran Ryleac Berbasis Mobile Learning terhadap Penguatan Karakter Siswa
Mobile learning-based learning is very appropriate to use in learning today, because students can be actively involved in learning and interact through mobile learning media to improve student character, the learning model that needs to be applied includes the Ryleac learning model. This study aims to produce a mobile learning-based Ryleac learning device for strengthening student character that is suitable for use in learning for class XI students of SMA Gorontalo. This research is classified as a Quasi Experiment research with a posttest only control group design. Based on the validity test, from the validation results by experts, it was found that the average ryleac-based mobile learning learning device for RPP obtained a validity value of 0.858 (SV), LKPD obtained a validity value of 0.870 (SV), teaching materials obtained a validity value of 0.859 (SV), THB obtained a validity value of 0.841 (V) and the student character observation sheet obtained a validity value of 0.889 (SV). Reconstruction of E-Module of Circular Motion Based Guided Inquiry: Rekontruksi E-Modul Gerak Melingkar Berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing
This study aims to determine the feasibility of the E-Module Circular Motion Based Guided Inquiry. This research is a research development or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The research instrument used was a validation sheet by the validator and student response questionnaires. The results of the validation sheet and student response questionnaires were assessed based on the Likert scale. The results of data analysis from the validation results of the E-Module Circular Motion Based on Guided Inquiry obtained a percentage of 92,02%. This shows that in general the E-Module Circular Motion Based on Guided Inquiry that was developed is very feasible to be used in learning circular motion material in class X SMK. E-Module Circular Motion Based on Guided Inquiry is a medium that can attract the attention of students
Correlation Study of Environmental Knowledge, Attitudes, Subjective Norms and Perceptions of Behavior Control on Students' Environmental Care Behavior: Studi Korelasi Pengetahuan Lingkungan Hidup, Sikap, Norma Subjektif dan Persepsi Kontrol Perilaku Terhadap Perilaku Peduli Lingkungan Siswa
This study aims to examine the correlation of environmental knowledge, attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioral control on the environmental behavior of students of SMK-SMAK Bogor, to examine differences in environmental knowledge and environmental behavior of male students and female students of SMK-SMAK Bogor. The sample in this study was 54 students. Correlation analysis was performed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The t-test analysis was used to examine differences in knowledge and the environmental behavior of male and female students. Based on the analysis, it is known that knowledge has a positive and significant effect on attitudes; attitudes have a significant effect on environmental behavior. Meanwhile, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control have no significant effect on the environmental behavior of students at SMK-SMAK Bogor. The results of the t-test analysis also showed that the knowledge and environmental behavior between male students and female students were not significantly different

Environmental sustainability is a sensitive issue lately due to increased global warming, erratic weather, disturbed ecosystems, the emergence of diseases, and so on. Garbage, the beginning of environmental damage in the air, water, and soil. All alternative pathways to protect the environment will be in vain if it is not balanced with an attitude of caring for the environment. The aim is to provide education and information about the importance of environmental sustainability to young children. The research method is a literature review of research journal articles related to the application of environmental education from an early age. In the research, it is known that in general the productive age that plays a role in environmental problems range from 15-64 years. The introduction and character education of caring for the environment is an effort to help children to always care about the environment and protect nature. The character of caring for the environment needs to be instilled from an early age in order to be able to love the environment. Good behavior starts from simple activities since I was a child, because at this time the brain can quickly absorb all the information obtained. This research aims to examine the effect of problem-based learning (PBL) integrated brainstorming learning method on students' creative thinking skill. The method used in this research is Quasi-Experimental with - test and Post- test Control Group design. The sampling in this research is sampling namely 23 students in IX A and 23 in IX D. The instrument applied in this study is a creative thinking test that is made in accordance with the indicators of creative thinking based on . To data, the researcher uses independent sample T-test. Students Learning Motivation and Concepts Understanding of Science through the Use of PhET Interactive Simulations: Motivasi Belajar dan Pemahaman Konsep IPA Siswa SMP melalui Penggunaan PhET Interactive Simulations
The purpose of this research is to describe the influence of PhET Interactive Simulations on the motivation of learning and understanding the concept of natural science subject matter. This research is a type of quantitative research with design method using one shot case study design. The population and research sample is grade VIII students of SMP 4 which consists of 1 class. The instruments used in this study are motivational learning questionnaires and concept comprehension tests. The technique of analyzing the data of this study is to use correlation statistics. The results showed there was an influence of PhET Interactive Simulations on learning motivation with a low relationship influence rate of 0.273, there was the influence of PhET Interactive Simulations on understanding the concept of natural science with a low influence level of 0.324, and there was the influence of PhET Interactive Simulations on the motivation of learning and understanding the concept of natural science with a low influence level of 0.122. it can be concluded that PhET Interactive Simulations affects the motivation and understanding of the concept of natural science. Further research is expected to uncover other factors that influence the motivation of learning and understanding student concepts in addition to the use of PhET Interactive Simulations
