    Halal Logistics Practices: Logistics Service Provider Cases in Indonesia

    This study examines critical factors in affecting halal business management, particularly challenges in Halal logistics implementation faced by the logistics service provider as well as its potential and opportunities for Halal based business in Indonesia. An In-depth, semi-structured interview is conducted to deepen the understanding and to provide detailed data of the study. The study found that there are several factors influencing halal logistics implementation. In terms of business strategy, there are external and internal factors that affect halal logistics practices. Such as market-driven, perception benefit of halal logistic certification followed by customer loyalty, challenges in implementing halal logistics, the complexity of operation halal logistics, and invariably regulation factors. All of those factors have become a prior factor in implementing halal logistics practices. The findings can provide a guideline in how to implement halal logistics practices in logistic service provider business, especially in transportation and warehousing process, along with the expected result for its business performance

    Partnership Management Between Vocational Schools with the World of Business and Industry to Improve the Quality of Graduates Who Are Ready to Work

    The management of the partnership between State Vocational High Schools (SMKN) and the World of Business and Industry (DUDI) has not been running optimally in its implementation, so that many partnership programs have not been realized properly. If there is no solution, it is feared that partnership activities will not work. This research aims to: To determine the planning, organization, implementation, assessment of problems and partnership solutions. The philosophical foundation of this research is progressivism philosophy, while the theoretical basis used is management theory, partnership theory and graduate quality theory. The research approach used is a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through: documentation study, observation and interviews, triangulation. The results showed that: (a) The planning was made together with the school committee, the principal of the vocational school, the wakasek in the field of public relations / industry, the head of light vehicle engineering, and the teacher sat with the DUDI in this case PT Teja Berlian Mitsubshi and PT Suzuki Putra Damai Bahagia, so that cooperation program agreement with DUDI; (b) Organizing by forming a team in charge of relations with DUDI and having its own main duties and functions. (c) Implementation requires cooperation with PT Teja Berlian Mitshubisi and PT Suzuki Putra Damai Bahagia, in order to improve the quality of graduates, as expected by DUDI. The implementation of the partnership program consists of: internship, production unit, competency test, teacher internship, (d) assessment of learning outcomes, internship, competency package testing and competency certification. and skills aspects (e). The problems in the partnership are: human resources managing the partnership, budget, infrastructure, the number of DUDI that is not comparable with SMK graduates and the demands of the industrial world; (f) Partnership solutions with innovation and changes in human resource management, budgets and infrastructure, the government's efforts to develop a teaching factory curriculum through partnerships, and schools to prepare students to have superior competencies, be creative, innovative, understand the digital world (IPTEK). Conclusion; There is a common goal of the partnership between SMK and DUDI, namely; improving quality according to market needs, synchronizing curriculum and synergizing school programs, increasing the absorption and placement of school graduates into the world of work. Collaboration between SMK and DUDI has an impact on improving the quality of SMK graduates, both in terms of input, process, output and outcome. Recommendations: (1) For SMK it can be used as a basis for cooperating partnerships with DUDI; (2) For DUDI it can be used as a basis for collaborating with SMKs; (3) For students it is used as a basis for increasing their competence; (4) For Researchers , can be used as a basis for further research on the Management of SMK partnerships with DUDI, to improve the quality of graduates who are ready to work in Indramayu Regency.Â

    Problem Solving Method Management to Improve the Quality of PAI Learning

    The development of science and technology must be balanced with an increase in the quality of learning in the world of education. The quality of learning becomes low when educators only stick to conventional teaching materials. Strengthened by the existence of Islamic Education teachers delivering teaching materials with the lecture method so that the learning process feels boring, monotonous and less attractive to students. So it is necessary to choose the right learning method in the learning process, one of which is the problem solving method. The problem solving method is interactive learning using one that can improve the quality of learning with active, innovative, creative, effective, and fun learning (PAIKEM) as well as being happy and having weight (Gembot). The purpose of this study is to determine the planning, implementation, evaluation, impact and supporting and inhibiting factors along with their solutions. With the aim of this research, the researcher asked a research question on how to manage problem solving methods to improve the quality of Islamic education learning. To clarify the background, the authors describe management, the quality of learning, problem solving methods and PAI. The description of the results of this study shows that the problem solving method in Islamic Education learning is very popular and understood by students with learning indicators using group discussions and independent tasks in completing case studies. As for infrastructure, the ability of educators and students are supporting and inhibiting factors in learning problem solving methods. The conclusion of this research is that the problem solving method is able to improve the quality of Islamic education learning with indicators of cognitive, affective and psychomotor enhancement

Several laws and regulations in Indonesia define a living as meeting the material needs of children. Such a definition raises various problems in the pattern of child protection and the formation of the benefit of families in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the redefinition of livelihoods in child protection efforts and the formation of the benefit of families in Indonesia. This research method uses normative legal research with a philosophical and statutory approach and uses a prescriptive analytic method. The results show that in the pattern of child protection and the formation of family welfare in Indonesia, children's livelihoods must be defined as meeting children's material needs so that children can survive and as fulfilling children's immaterial needs so that children can improve their quality of life

    This study is to discuss the tabarru contract in the form of guaranteeing oneself (Kafalah and Wakalah) and giving something (Grants, Gifts, Waqf, Zakat, Infaq, Alms), where basically the tabbaru contract is giving something (giving something) or lending something.     This paper aims to describe the challenges and opportunities of syariah financial technology (fintech) in Indonesia, due to the impact of covid-19 pandemic. Three things that become the focus of writing, include: syariah fintech; the impact of covid-19 pandemic on fintech; syariah fintech opportunities and challenges. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method with documentation/text studies in the form of related data and literature studies. The conclusion of this research is: the growth of Syariah fintech assets at the end of 2019 increased by 2074.81% from the previous year. Although affected by the pandemic, the growth of fintech during this covid-19 pandemic remained relatively stable. Prominent opportunities and challenges for the Syariah fintech resulting from the impact of covid-19 pandemic, including increased use of fintech through online shopping platforms, payments and loans; accelerated digitalization of financial services; slowed economic activity; arose various risks; and decreased debtor/UMKM performance due to the impact of the pandemic

    Meta Analysis of Pesantren's Economic Research

    This study tries to review the research around Islamic boarding school (Pesantren) economy on reputable journal. It uses descriptive statistical analysis based on selected 79 article publications or paper related to Islamic boarding school economy, with national and international journal. The entire sample journal publications have published for twelve years from 2007 to 2019. The Results show that Islamic boarding school economy research study case is still dominated by East Java (29%), following by West Java (20%) and Central Java (6%). In addition, the average time of journal publication is between 11 and 12 years. There are at least 20 journals that publish Islamic boarding school economy articles and the most research with Shirkah: Journal of Economics and Business, Economica: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam, Advances in Social Science. Furthermore, the comparison of qualitative research (77%) is still more than the quantitative approach (13%) and mix method approach (10%)

    This study was motivated by a phenomenon that appears in madrasa, namely: 1) the low quality of graduates, in MAN 1 with an average result of UAN 58.5 and MAN 2 57.8 from a maximum score of 100; 2) inconsistency in planning, implementing, evaluating programs to improve quality. The purpose of this study was to identify: work programs, program implementation, evaluation of program implementation, program impacts, and supporting factors inhibiting the improvement of the quality of madrasa. The approach of this study was qualitative-naturalistic, with a descriptive research type. This research method was a case study, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation study. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used the interactive Miles model. The results of this study showed: evaluation of quality improvement which is carried out through an evaluation of needs assessment, assessment of input, assessment of processes and assessment of results
