    Pra Desain Pabrik Bio Pellet dari Ampas Tebu (Bagasse) dengan Proses Torrefaction

    Sebagai salah satu bentuk energi terbarukan, bioenergi memiliki prospek besar untuk dikembangkan. Ketersediaan bahan baku yang melimpah di indonesia menjadi salah satu alasan pemanfaatan energi yang bersumber dari bioenergi. Biomassa dapat langsung digunakan sebagai bahan bakar atau melalui proses pembuatan pellet untuk menghasilkan energi sekunder yaitu tenaga listrik. Potensi pasar dari usaha pellet semakin meningkat, apalagi dengan adanya program co-firing dari pemerintah untuk mencampur bio pellet dengan bahan bakar fosil memberikan peluang didirikannya pabrik bio pellet untuk memenuhi kebutuhan bahan bakar. Bio pellet merupakan salah satu bahan bakar biomasa yang memiliki kesergaman bentuk,  ukuran, densitas, dan kandungan energi. Ampas tebu (bagasse) dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan bio pellet karena jumlahnya yang melimpah dan belum termanfaatkan dengan baik. Pada produksi bio pellet dari ampas tebu (bagasse) ini, dipilih metode torrefaction dimana terdapat tiga tahap pada pembuatan pellet yaitu tahap pre-treatment, tahap torrefaction yaitu konversi biomasa menjadi karbon, dan tahap pelletizing yaitu mengubah torrified biomass menjasi bentuk pellet. Pabrik ini direncanakan beroperasi 330 hari/tahun, 24 jam/hari dengan kapasitas 60.000 ton/tahun dan membutuhkan bahan baku ampas tebu (bagasse) sebanyak 130.842 ton/tahun. Produk yang dihasilkan mempunyai yield 47%. Internal rate of return dari pabrik ini sebesar 14,49% dengan Payout time selama 7,5 tahun dan Break even point sebesar 26%

As reliance on these tools deepens, individuals delve into their existence and the societal constructs that govern their lives, potentially steering the development of communication tech for global betterment. Historically, humans have pondered their role as sources of authority and meaning. Liberal perspectives frame humans as subjective authorities, emphasizing internal experiences to inspire universal meaning. In contrast, Dataists view humans as sources of authority and meaning within collective narratives, highlighting the richness of intersubjective experiences among many individuals in one world. Utilizing advanced communication technology, notably computer algorithms, to interpret collective human narratives, this paper suggests a pathway for enhancing global civilization. It advocates harnessing technology, specifically algorithmic intelligence, to restore a cohesive global identity founded on principles of freedom and equality. Employing phenomenological methods, this research examines human experiences within the realm of communication technology, drawing on humanism, subjectivism, intersubjectivism, and dataism as theoretical frameworks

    MODELLING OF REINFORCED CONCRETE COUPLING BEAMS WITH HEADED BARS: VERIFICATION AND PARAMETRIC STUDIES

    This paper explores the accuracy of nonlinear finite element procedures implemented in ATENA in predicting the load-drift response of reinforced concrete coupling beam with headed bars under reversed cyclic loading. In this study, one of the coupling beams incorporating headed bars, tested by Seo and co-workers in 2017, is analysed and its response at different lateral drifts is discussed. Parametric analyses, studying the influence of reinforcement layouts, are also presented. It is shown that the hysteresis loops of the coupling beam could be predicted accurately, along with the crack patterns at different stages of loading and failure mode. It is also shown that the omittance of headed bars resulted in more pronounced bond-slip effects and a more severe pinched response in the post-peak region, highlighting the importance of providing adequate headed reinforcement. A similar trend was observed in the coupling beam with the omittance of U-bars and horizontal transverse reinforcements, whereas stirrup relaxation was found to increase the prominence of shear failure

    Analisis Frekuensi Alami dengan Undamped-Degree of Freedom System pada Jembatan Sei Wampu

    Natural frequency is one of the factors in bridge construction. Because the natural frequency can be used as an indicator to detect the ability of the bridge, including the ability to withstand resonance. In addition, the natural frequency is also a way to analyze damage that will or has already occurred to a bridge. One of the analytical methods that can be used to analyze natural frequency values is the Undamped-Degree of Freedom. The results of this study indicate that the natural frequency value of the Sei Wampu Bridge has a value of 10.97 rad/s for the first mode, 18.06 rad/sec for the second ,mode and 20.34 rad/sec for the third mode. From the results of this analysis, it can be seen that the natural frequency value will increase as the bridge mode increases

    Slope Stability Assessment Using Limit Equilibrium Method With Deterministic and Probabilistic Approach (Case Study : Mota’ain-Motamasin National Road, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

    The Mota'ain-Motamasin road section is a road section that was built in the realization of infrastructure development in the border area in East Nusa Tenggara which borders Timor Leste. On this section, road construction has been completed, but at several points there are landslides that need to be addressed. Research conducted includes modeling and testing in the laboratory. Physical, mechanical, suction and XRD tests were carried out on the samples. Back analysis was carried out to obtain soil parameters during landslides. Then analyzed the stability of the slopes Sta 149+140 with deterministically and probabilistically and analyzed the sensitivity of soil parameters to the value of Safety Factor. Bobonaro soil is classified as Cohesive Soil and has a value of    Liquid Limit = 80.823% and Plasticity Index value = 58.747%, classified as CH (High Plasticity Clay) soil. Bobonaro soil has kaolinite content of 3.4%-17.9%, illite 16.6%-42.6%, and montmorillonite 9.6%-30.6%. The combination of small amount of kaolinite and high montmorillonite accompanied by high changes in water content is the cause of frequent landslides on the mota'ain-motamasin roads. At Sta 149+140, the value of Safety Factor = 1,249 at GWT 0 m becomes SF = 1,254 at GWT -5 m probabilistically 10,000 iterations. The value of SF = 1,254 without suction becomes SF = 1,263 when there is suction at GWT -5 m probabilistically 10,000 iterations. The most sensitive soil parameter on the Safety Factor is cohesion, followed by the internal shear angle and unit weight. Handling of Sta 149+140 landslides used bore piles with SF=1.808 > SF=1.5

    Pemodelan Harga Saham Berdasarkan Generalized Linear Model untuk Kejadian Multivariat

    Kejadian multivariat adalah kejadian-kejadian yang memiliki tidak hanya satu peristiwa yang memengaruhi, tetapi bisa lebih banyak peristiwa yang memberi dampak pada peristiwa utamanya. Dampak yang dihasilkan dari suatu kejadian dapat berupa apa saja dan bisa diprediksi. Hal ini menyebabkan perlunya dibentuk sebuah model untuk memprediksi dampak dari sebuah kejadian sehingga dapat diambil keputusan penting berdasarkan kejadian tersebut. Saham merupakan salah satu contoh yang dapat direpresentasikan sebagai kejadian multivariat, seperti harga saham saat penutupan atau closing price, harga maksimal penutupan saham pada periode tertentu, dan durasi waktu (bulanan). Harga penutupan saham dan harga maksimal penutupan saham pada periode tertentu merupakan variabel acak kontinu yang masing-masing diasumsikan berdistribusi eksponensial dan truncated logistic. Durasi waktu (bulanan) merupakan variabel acak diskrit yang diasumsikan berdistribusi geometrik. Untuk mengakomodir kejadian multivariat yang melibatkan ketiga variabel acak tersebut digunakan distribusi trivariat yaitu, distribusi TETLG (Trivariate distribution with Exponential, Truncated Logistic, and Geometric marginals). Selanjutnya, untuk mengetahui pola hubungan antara ketiga variabel acak sebagai vektor respon dengan tiga kovariat yaitu, tingkat pengangguran, tingkat inflasi, dan tingkat obligasi 10 tahun, dikonstruksi sebuah Generalized Linear Model (GLM) untuk kejadian multivariat. Estimasi parameter model GLM kejadian multivariat, dilakukan menggunakan metode Maximum Likelihood. Sebagai implementasi pemodelan harga saham menggunakan GLM kejadian multivariat, diterapkan pada data harga penutupan saham dari Yahoo! Finance untuk periode 2 Januari 1958 hingga 17 April 2020. Berdasarkan uji likelihood ratio, diperoleh hasil bahwa hanya tingkat inflasi dan tingkat pengangguran yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pemodelan harga saham

    Priority Infrastructure Development on Tablolong Beach Tourism Kupang Regency - East Nusa Tenggara

    The Tablolong beach area is one of the natural tourism objects in Kupang Regency. However, it is not matched by adequate tourist area infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the required infrastructure to assess the existing condition of infrastructure in the Tablolong beach area using a qualitative descriptive analysis, analyzing the IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) level of importance of infrastructure in tourist areas and providing recommendations for infrastructure development directions. The results of the study indicate that the priority infrastructure developed to support the fisheries and trade services sector are 1) provision of domestic waste management facilities (laundry waste and toilets), provision of a clean water network system, provision of waste disposal sites; 2) handling potholes in road conditions and asphalting of roads that are still pavement; 3) provision of various modes of transportation and drainage systems, especially in fishing settlements and beaches; 4) provision of transportation support facilities, improvement of telecommunications performance, improvement of electricity network performance in the Tablolong Beach area under the development of the area
