    Workability Analysis of 3D Printing Materials for Applications in The Construction Industry

    The development of 3D Printing machine technology as a printing tool that uses an additive manufacturing method system with the aim of producing a three-dimensional (3D) object or object according to the default digital design file. 3D Printing was created to facilitate construction work, with 3D Printing construction work becoming lighter because this tool saves time, and costs, and reduces the risk of work accidents. With 3D Printing, work runs quickly and avoids problems in the development process. In the last few decades, many developed countries have used 3D Printing technology in making buildings. The 3D printing process basically consists of three different stages namely, data preparation, material preparation and transfer to the printer, and the printing stage. In the data preparation stage, the components are designed as 3D CAD models, then converted to STL (Stereolithography) format and sliced with the desired layer depth. The preparation of concrete involves mixing and placing it into a container. Once fresh concrete has been placed into the container, it can be channeled smoothly through a pump-pipe-nozzle system to print self-compacting concrete filaments, which build structural components layer by layer. The material used in this 3D printing method was Portland cement where this cement is easy to find among the public. Portland cement itself is the cement that is commonly used as a basic material for making concrete, plaster, mortar, and non-specialized mortar. In addition, fly ash and silica fumes are also added as a mixture. The addition of silica fumes increases the compressive strength of concrete. Furthermore, the addition of fly ash to the concrete has the effect of reducing drying shrinkage; but reducing the compressive strength of the concrete.     Companies often encounter several problems, one of which is the uncertainty in market conditions that can lead to company failure. All actions taken in each activity are initiated and determined by humans who are members of the company. Employee performance is one of the most dominant factors in improving company performance which many factors can influence. The effect produced by each factor will certainly be different for each individual. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine how much influence several variables have on employee performance. The population in this study were employees who had or are currently working on a BUMN construction project with a sample of 122 respondents. To test the established hypothesis, this study will use the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with a software program to input data from the questionnaire results, and then it will be calculated to see how fit the proposed model is. There is one relationship path that has no significant effect, namely the relationship between work environment variables and work motivation variables

    Perubahan Perilaku Wisatawan dan Aktivitas Wisata Pasca Terjadinya Pandemi COVID-19 di Kota Yogyakarta

    Merebaknya virus COVID-19 di Indonesia mempengaruhi perkembangan industri pariwisata karena perilaku wisatawan dan aktivitas wisata berubah. Perubahan ini perlu direspon dengan cepat terutama bagi Kota Yogyakarta, yang menempatkan sektor pariwisata sebagai sektor ekonomi utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan perilaku wisatawan dan aktivitas wisata yang terjadi di Kota Yogyakarta. Metode Directed Content Analysis (DCA) dan simple majority rule dipilih karena analisis kualitatif memungkinkan peneliti untuk fokus pada aspek-aspek perubahan perilaku wisatawan dan aktivitas wisata dalam hasil data teks wawancara in depth interview. Sementara itu simple majority rule berguna dalam situasi pengambilan keputusan kelompok di mana opsi dengan suara terbanyak dianggap sebagai pilihan yang terbukti mengalami perubahan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa perubahan perilaku pasca pandemi COVID-19 terjadi pada wisatawan yang berkunjung di Kota Yogyakarta yaitu peningkatan kesadaran penggunaan teknologi (wisatawan tech savvy[1]), kecenderungan wisatawan berkelompok kecil, peningkatan kesadaran kesehatan dan kebersihan, dan pengaturan wisata secara terencana.     Characteristics of Lateral Acceleration and Vertical Acceleration of the Position of the Vehicle on the Ferry Ro-Ro Car Deck

    Ferry accidents in Indonesia happen not just once or twice, but more than that. This is reinforced by statistical data on shipping transportation accidents. Shifting or overturning of the vehicle to the side of the ro-ro ferry has a big hand in causing the ship to capsize, and eventually an accident occurs. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the lateral and vertical acceleration of vehicles based on their location on the car deck under the influence of side waves. The method used is strip theory with the help of Maxurf software, which adheres to the B-spiline mathematical equation. The results of the study detected that vehicle positioning on the ro-ro ferry car deck significantly affects the value of vertical acceleration and lateral acceleration due to rolling motion. Bamboo material plays an important role because bamboo has another advantage of this bamboo, which is lightweight and has a fairly high flexibility. To make a good bamboo board, a strong adhesive and combination of components is needed for shipbuilding. In this study, the type of bamboo used was petung bamboo. The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of the tightness test on the petung bamboo laminated board system at the ship’s shell material connection and to determine the value of the tightness used to test the petung bamboo laminated board system on the ship's material connection. Meanwhile, the benefit of the research is to provide understanding and insight on various matters relating to the Impermeability Test of the Petung Bamboo Laminated Board System at the Connection of the Vessel Material. The method in this study uses the standard Air Pressure Test which aims to see whether or not it can be applied to bamboo ship building technology. This test uses a pressure ranging from 0.2 psi. The results of this study showed that the vertical joint laminated board showed 140.2 lbf/in2 and 139.4 lbf/in2 while the inclined joint laminate board is 124.4 lbf/in2and 123.8 lbf/in2

    Planning of a Hybrid Propulsion System for Purse Seine Fishing Vessels in Mayangan, Probolinggo, East Java

    The Mayangan Beach Fisheries Port (BFP) in Probolinggo City is a fishing port that was established using a combination of funds from the APBN, APBD of East Java province and APBD of Probolinggo city. Equipped with basic and functional facilities to support various fishing activities, fishing vessels generally use a mechanical propulsion system driven by a diesel engine. The results of the government's decision to increase fuel prices by 8,000 rupiah per liter, were then supported by a survey which showed that fishermen needed as much as 110 liters of fuel for a journey of approximately one hour for one trip, with these conditions making fishermen, especially in the Mayangan district, Probolinggo very objection by increasing the price of fuel that will be used to go to sea, so that with the problems complained of by fishermen on the Mayangan coast, Probolinggo about rising fuel prices, this refers to researchers planning a hybrid propulsion system to reduce consumption of the use of fuel that will be used for purse seine fishing boats. The results showed that the main engine specifications for the Mitsubishi ship were 6D24-Mpt (A) with 228 Kw power, then the Yanmar Ytg 15 Tlv generator, while the electric motor specifications that would be used were Weg Tru Metric 132 Kw / 175 HP, as well as batteries for storing battery energy which had specifications J185-Agm Vrla Agm / Non-Spillable. The difference in fuel consumption in the conventional system and the hybrid system looks quite significant.     Dining During the New Normal: A Pilot Study Identifying Factors Influencing the Restaurant Choices of Young Adults in Indonesia

    The COVID-19 pandemic has brought significant changes to the restaurant industry, including changes in consumer behavior and preferences. In Indonesia, young adults are a significant market segment for restaurants, and understanding their restaurant choices is crucial for the industry's survival. Despite the discussions about the massive impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the hospitality industry by practitioners and researchers, only a limited number of papers have empirically examined consumer behavior in the context of restaurant choice in Indonesia. Consumers' concerns about safety and social distancing may lead to the permanent closure of some restaurants due to the absence of visitors. As restaurants develop comprehensive reopening plans, consumers may still have specific considerations when choosing a restaurant. This pilot study aims to evaluating acceptability of methods and instruments to participants in identifying consumers' behavior factors that driven their restaurant choice to dine-in during the New Normal period. The sample was composed of 50 young adult consumers from different cities in Indonesia with a moderate risk increase of COVID-19 cases. An adapted 76 item questionnaire with 5-point scales was administered online using Microsoft form and analyzed in SPSS 26 software. After excluding 14 item, the result showed that the number of 62 item were valid and reliable for data analysis. Therefore, the results of this pilot study have implications for subsequent quantitative research, with one of the methods being statistical analysis, specifically factor analysis

    Abstrak Dalam proyek KPBU, pemerintah dan badan usaha berpartisipasi dalam proyek dan berbagi risiko. Oleh karena itu pemilihan badan usaha memiliki peran penting untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan proyek KPBU jalan tol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kriteria yang perlu diperhatikan dalam memilih badan usaha berdasarkan aspek keberlanjutan. Kriteria diidentifikasi melalui studi literatur. Metode Relative Important Index (RII) digunakan untuk menunjukkan nilai tingkat kepentingan dan peringkat masing masing kriteria. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria kemampuan mengelola risiko sebagai peringkat tertinggi pertama, kriteria kemampuan mengelola operasional sebagai peringkat tertinggi kedua, kriteria program perbaikan lingkungan sebagai peringkat tertinggi ketiga, kriteria perencanaan finansial sebagai peringkat tertinggi keempat, dan kriteria sumber daya manusia sebagai peringkat tertinggi kelima
