    Optimizing Ocean Energy Harvesting: The Significance of Natural Frequency in Piezoelectric Generator Device Electrical Output

    This study explores the significance of the natural frequency parameter in enhancing the electrical performance of a piezoelectric generator device, mainly when deployed in ocean energy harvesting. While natural energy harvesting aims to establish affordable and sustainable renewable energy sources, piezoelectric devices capitalize on the inherent piezoelectric effect derived from natural movements. Despite the abundance of constant natural movements in the Earth's environment, the application of piezoelectric devices in ocean energy remains relatively understudied. The experimental setup involves a cantilever-designed piezoelectric device made from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). The study investigates the relationships between vibration frequency, initial distance, and electrical output. Findings indicate that higher setup parameters may lead to increased electrical output, but the relationship is not linear. Notably, the resonance between the vibration frequency and the device's natural frequency emerges as a critical factor in optimizing electrical performance. Detailed experimentation, visualized through figures and graphs, demonstrates the nuanced interplay of setup parameters and electrical output. The study emphasizes that the initial distance, while important, does not singularly determine the device's electrical performance. It challenges conventional beliefs by showcasing that piezoelectric devices can operate efficiently in tight spaces. Furthermore, the study delves into the non-linear relationship between vibration frequency and electrical output. Examining natural and resonant frequencies reveals that resonance occurs most prominently at the device's natural frequency, emphasizing the importance of precise tuning for optimal performance. The findings offer valuable insights for the strategic deployment of piezoelectric technology in ocean energy harvesting, paving the way for more efficient and effective devices in real-world condition

    Salah satu Kecamatan Kabupaten Kotabaru yaitu Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam yang memiliki jumlah penduduk tertinggi kedua di Kabupaten Kotabaru semakin meningkat dari tahun ketahun sehingga berdampak pada kebutuhan lahan yang semakin meningkat pula. Kecamatan ini merupakan pemekaran dari Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan pemberian pelayanan public serta memperpendek rentang kendali, sehingga pelayanan bisa dapat dilakukan dengan lebih cepat. Hal ini akan mengindikasikan berkembangnya Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam di masa yang akan datang. Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam mengalami perkembangan penggunaan lahan permukiman yang cukup pesat dan tidak lepas dari beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan perkembangan permukiman tersebut. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor- faktor yang menyebabkan perkembangan penggunaan lahan permukiman beserta bobotnya di Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam dengan menggunakan metode analisis delphi dan AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). Hasil penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan perkembangan permukiman di Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam. Ditemukan bahwa perkembangan permukiman dari tahun 2012-2021 mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat yaitu dari tahun 2012 seluas 283,21 Ha menjadi 378,84 Ha di tahun 2021, penggunaan lahan yang terkonversi menjadi permukiman dalam rentang tahun 2012-2021 adalah pasir, perkebunan, semak belukar, tanah kosong, dan tegalan/ladang. Perkembangan permukiman di Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam disebabkan oleh faktor kesesuaian terhadap peruntukkan ruang , faktor kedekatan jaringan air bersih, kedekatan jaringan listrik, kedekatan permukiman eksisting, kedekatan jalan lingkungan, kedekatan jalan lokal, kedekatan jalan kolektor, kedekatan fasilitas kesehatan, dan kedekatan fasilitas Pendidikan

    KLBM Toll Road is one of the Non-Trans-Java Toll Road projects connecting Sidoarjo Regency and Gresik Regency. The demand of toll roads needs to be considered in toll road planning. Traffic assignment analysis is carried out by calculating the benefits given due to the characteristics of a road. While the characteristics of road users are not accommodated in the road infrastructure planning and result in "optimism bias". So there is a need for a study that analyzes the differences in traffic assignment analysis based on road characteristics and road users. The probabilities obtained from JICA I method analysis has significant difference towards stated preference method. The significant difference result is due to differences in the characteristics used, namely the characteristics of the road and the resulting cost savings on the perceptions and characteristics of road users

    Measurement of Isobaric Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium for Binary System β- Caryophyllene + Linalool and Eugenol + Linalool at 30 and 60 kPa

    The Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium experiment conducted for the final project focused on studying thermodynamic behavior of Eugenol, Beta-caryophyllene, and Linalool during their vapor and liquid phases. These compounds were chosen due to their significance in various industries, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and flavorings. Equilibrium data between mixtures is still very limited in various conditions. The experiment tested on Othmer still that has been modified and validated corresponds to the vapor pressure data of each component using the equation of Antoine and Wagner-Ambrose obtained Average Absolute Deviation (AAD) T of 0,424% and 0,246%. This study aimed to obtain vapor-liquid equilibrium data for binary systems, which are Eugenol + Linalool and Beta-Caryophyllene + Linalool at 30 kPa and 60 kPa with a mole composition range (x1) from 0—1 for each pressure. Equilibrium data will be correlated with Wilson, Non Random Two-Liquid (NRTL), dan Portmanteau of Universal Quasichemical (UNIQUAC) model equations to represent all experiment data. The results of this study obtained the AAD values for each system β-Caryophyllene + Linalool and Eugenol + Linalool at a pressure of 30kPa and 60 kPa were below 0,5

    Applied of Phase Equilibrium to Simulate Pressure Swing Distillation of 1-Butanol + Water Mixtures

    Butanol as fuel mixtures has been sufficiently proven to be able to reduce NOx and PM gas emissions. Water is a by-product produced in the butanol production process. The mixture of butanol and water system contains an azeotrope which cannot be separated using conventional distillation. Azeotropic distillation techniques have been developed quite a lot, one of which is Pressure Swing Distillation (PSD). In this study, the computational simulation were performed using commercial software Aspen Plus and thermodynamic model UNIQUAC. The configuration of operating conditions and equipment in the PSD for the 1-butanol and water system has effects on the need for supporting equipment and its techno-economic analysis. From the results of this simulation study, it is obtained that the PSD configuration with a High Pressure (HP) to Low Pressure (LP) design can obtain a 1-butanol product with a purity of 99.98% with a TAC (Total Annual Cost) of 0.64 (10g USD/year) and the cost of separating 1-butanol is 0.085 USD/kg and the cost for energy is 0.03 USD/kg

    Secure and Space Efficient Accounts Storage System Using Three-Dimensional Bloom Filter

    This paper investigates the application of a three dimensional Bloom Filter (3DBF) to accomplish a secure and efficient accounts storage system by exploiting hashes of usernames and their corresponding passwords. We conducted numerical experiments and mathematical analysis to study the efficiency level of several 3DBF schemes. Our experimental results and analysis show that the level of occupancy for 3DBF is positively correlated to the value of its false positive rate, viz., if the occupancy level increases then so does the value of the false positive rate. Moreover, we also derive a formula for determining the minimum number of bits for storing some data in a 3DBF scheme given the value of its acceptable false positive rate and its occupancy level. We infer that the product of the dimensional parameter of a 3DBF scheme is inversely proportional to the false positive rate and occupancy level used in the scheme

    Taman kota di Tangerang Selatan sudah banyak dikunjungi pengunjung untuk berolahraga maupun rekreasi. Namun, terdapat beberapa keluhan pengunjung terkait penyediaan aksesibilitas dan fasilitas yang disediakan taman kota. Landasan teori yang digunakan mencakup variabel aksesibilitas dan fasilitas serta pengaruhnya terhadap kepuasan pengunjung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan dengan populasi pengunjung Taman Kota 1 BSD, Taman Kota 2 BSD, dan Taman Menteng Bintaro, Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis melalui model regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aksesibilitas dan fasilitas memengaruhi kepuasan pengunjung, sehingga perlu mempertimbangkan penyediaan aksesibilitas dan fasilitas yang memadai di taman kota agar pengunjung merasa puas

    Design and Performance Testing of a 3D Printed Mini DC Powered Pump for Microbubble Generator

    Centrifugal pumps are the most commonly utilized in industries, agriculture, and households. In the microbubble generator, the centrifugal pump is driven by a DC motor for efficiency. This research was conducted to determine the optimal centrifugal pump design for microbubble generators using 3D-printed PLA material. The pump drive uses a brushless DC motor. With impeller dimensions r1=16mm, r2=26mm, β1=46.8, β2=62.8, and number of blades = 8, the resulting head is 2m at a constant operational current of 3A and a flowrate of 0 L/m. The same operational current input yields a maximum flow rate of 14 L/min with a head of 0.5 m. Maximum head exists when there is no liquid on the outlet side. At current ≥ 6.5A, there is a deviation from the previously formed trend. The input power of 58W is generated when the maximum flow rate is 25L/m. Maximum efficiency can be achieved as the input current increases to ≤6.5A and 18L/m. At conditions ≥6.5A, efficiency decreases drastically as the input current increases. This centrifugal pump design can work optimally at a constant input current of 6.5A with an input power 58W for the microbubble generator

Namun, terdapat masalah dalam aset Ruangduduk.co karena beberapa ruangan belum memenuhi standar co-working space dan fasilitasnya belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengunjung. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi aset properti Ruangduduk.co berdasarkan karakteristik socio-profesional, economics, dan space. Metode yang digunakan dalam proyek ini adalah deskriptif untuk menganalisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan studi banding. Hasil proyek ini mencakup pengembangan strategi aset yang meliputi: (1) Pengembangan karakteristik socio-profesional melalui rancangan ruangan yang fleksibel dan mobile, termasuk pengembangan 9 ruangan dengan pencahayaan standar SNI, sistem akustik, dan luas ruang yang memenuhi standar; (2) Pengembangan karakteristik economics dengan menetapkan fasilitas yang wajib ada di setiap ruangan co-working space, seperti meja, proyektor, dan layar proyektor di ruangan meeting; (3) Pengembangan karakteristik space dengan memberikan informasi detail tentang lokasi Ruangduduk.co, termasuk peruntukan wilayah berdasarkan Rencana Detail Tata Ruang SWK Karees dan informasi aksesibilitas; (4) Rencana anggaran yang diperlukan untuk pengembangan Ruangduduk.co sebesar Rp11.709.038.280. Kesimpulan proyek ini adalah meningkatkan fleksibilitas dan mobilitas bagi pengunjung Ruangduduk.co, mempermudah akses fasilitas, meningkatkan aksesibilitas ke Ruangduduk.co, memberikan informasi anggaran proyek pengembangan aset
