Perencanaan dan Analisis Perkuatan Lereng Menggunakan Fondasi Micropiles

    Get PDF
Slope reinforcement design with micropile is one of the methods commonly used to improve the stability of unstable slopes, the main advantage of using micropile is that it has a high resistance capacity, easy to construct, and can be carried out in a limited work area. In this study, a micropile design was carried out to improve slope stability, then a study was conducted on the effect of pile installation distance (spacing) on the structural behavior of the micropile, namely shear resistance and bending moment, the analysis was carried out using limit-equilibrium method and finite element method. It was found that the micropile design carried out can increase the safety factor of unstable slopes (FS = 1.01) to meet the criteria (FS = 1.51). The results of the study on the effect of pile installation distances show that the shear resistance and bending moment per pile decrease when the installation distance between piles decreases, this is due to the effect of reduction in bearing capacity of the pile grou

Delays Analysis Of TRANSKO Tawes 11.3 DWT Mooring Boat Development Project Based On Risk Management

    Get PDF
In shipbuilding projects, it is often the case that the project completion time exceeds the planned target time. Risk is an important factor in estimating the project schedule. If risk occurs in a project, it is certain that the project duration will increase. Therefore, risk analysis and mitigation are needed in the risk management of shipbuilding projects. The case study in this research is the 11.3 DWT TRANSKO Tawes mooring boat construction project owned by PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental which is experiencing delays. With data in the form of the project main schedule, risk analysis uses Primavera Risk Analysis software integrated with the Monte Carlo method to analyze risks to the schedule and provide an estimate of the exact project completion time. By randomly decreasing the uncertainty variable for 201 iterations, the results show that the percentage value of project delays is 11.38% of the target project construction duration of 167 days so that the project is estimated to experience a maximum delay of 19 days from the planned target duration so that the project is completed in 186 days or 1 day longer than the actual duration of the project which is completed in 185 days. In the TRANSKO Tawes 11.3 DWT mooring boat construction project, 12 risks were obtained that affected the project with details of 3 high category risks, 2 medium category risks, and 7 low category risks. As for the actual duration of the project, there is an increase in productivity compared to the duration of the simulation results, which is 0.0001 DWT/mandays

Image Processing and CFD Simulation Method Comparison in Determining and Visualizing Fluid Flow of a Marine UAV

An investigation of marine UAV performance with various designs have done successfully. The analysis was based on resistance criteria identification both aerodynamically and hydrodynamic. The calculations were conducted with the assistance of image processing as the experimental attempt and High-Fidelity Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software code to simulate the fluid flow on the fuselage designs, pontoons, and image processing. Both methods compared to acquire the silver line in which way they can collaborate to create new way of testing. Furthermore, mathematical calculations and Image processing works refereeing were also performed as the attempt for validations and conclusio

The waste of empty palm fruit bunches (EFB) as compost material and as fiber material needs to go through a decomposition and chopping process to simplify the processing process. The empty palm fruit bunches (EFB) chopping machine has now been developed in various regions using various types of transmission, propulsion, and also various models. The design of chopping machines is also increasingly diverse in line with the increasing market demand for processed products from empty palm fruit bunches (EFB). Based on these conditions, an appropriate transmission system is needed to lighten the workload of the machine, increase production yields, and save production costs. From the results of the research, it was found that the empty palm fruit bunches chopping machine with a total capacity of 100 kg / hour was tested. The machine is driven by an electric motor with a power of 4 kW and a rotational speed of 1440 rpm, which is transmitted using a pulley and belt open drive transmission system. The power from the machine is transmitted to the cutting section to chop the empty palm fruit bunches wel

INTERACTIVE LIGHTING TO MAINTAIN CONCENTRATION: SALMAN AL FARISI BANDUNG FULL-DAY SCHOOL

    Get PDF
Nowadays, the times affect the development of the education system for children. Full-time employment parents and the problem of leaving their children unattended and without essential activities are reasons full-day schools are in great demand. The learning conditions for a relatively long time and the various activities implemented in this full-day school affect the need for unique facilities compared to other schools, especially in maintaining children’s concentration in learning. This research uses a literature review, field surveys, and interviews with case studies of Salman Al Farisi Elementary School, a pioneer of full-day school in Bandung with an integrated Islamic education concept. Lighting is an interior architecture element that mainly affects student concentration in the classroom. Due to the existing problems, an interactive lighting system must be implemented in Salman Al Farisi Elementary School classrooms to support activities and maintain student concentration in learning. Arduino devices as artificial intelligence tools have the potential to be used in Salman Al Farisi Elementary School classrooms to create an interactive lighting system. The interactive lighting system required is the adjustable room light to maintain student concentration according to the ongoing activity

Light Spectrum Speckle Analysis in Roughness Material Identification by Using Naïve Bayes Classifier Based Equalization Histogram Adaptive

    Get PDF
Speckle imaging is a method that has been used in various fields. This method can be used to analyze the surface roughness of an object. Speckle imaging uses laser light and observes speckle patterns formed from light interference on the surface. The speckle imaging method is very safe and does not require any contact so it is easy to detect the roughness of an object. In this research, two types of sandpaper were used as rough surface objects. Speckle images of the sandpaper surface were created using three laser diodes with different wavelengths, namely 405 nm, 550 nm, and 650 nm. Image processing in this research begins with pre-processing methods, image segmentation, feature extraction, and then the classification process. The feature extraction process uses an Adaptive Histogram. The classification process uses the Naïve Bayes classifier method. Based on the research results, it was found that variations in the wavelength of the light spectrum affect the results of the Adaptive Histogram image features. The accuracy of Naïve Bayes classification increases if the wavelength used in creating the speckle image is shorter. Identification accuracy increased from 92% to 96% due to the use of speckle images resulting from diode laser irradiation from 650 nm to 405 nm

    Get PDF
In the construction of independent tanks (spherical) must be related to welding. Welding itself has a very important role in the process of connecting steel plates. The aims of the research is to determine the effect of the presence or absence of preheat and PWHT on welding and uses ASTM A 516 grade 60 steel material, where the material is commonly used for the construction of tanks or pressure vessels. The steel material is welded by the SMAW (shield metal arc welding) welding process with several different welding variables, one of which is given the preheat and post weld heat treatment (PWHT) variables and the other is not given these variables. Then the material will be tested mechanically, such as bending test, tensile test, and impact test under low temperature conditions (-20oC). The method used in this research is experimental. From the results of the tests will be known the value of tensile strength and energy absorbed. In the welding test specimen with preheat and PWHT variables, an opening of 1.68 mm was obtained, with an average tensile strength value of 523 N/mm2, and an average energy value of 205.15 J. While in the specimen without preheat and PWHT variables, the opening was obtained. of 1.21 mm, with an average tensile strength value of 473.5 N/mm2, and an average energy value of 46.7 J
