    Proyek konstruksi merupakan sektor penyumbang limbah konstruksi yang tergolong besar yang berdampak negatif terhadap siklus ekonomi perusahaan dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan model reduksi limbah proyek konstruksi pada tahap pelaksanaan proyek dengan studi kasus proyek konstruksi yang ada di Jawa Timur.   Desain permodelan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan model system dynamics. Input dari peneliatian ini adalah data dari hasil kuesioner dan studi kasus yang diolah dengan aplikasi statistik  yang kemudian digunakan untuk mendapatkan output model sistem dinamik reduksi limbah konstruksi yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi nyata. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model dalam penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mereduksi limbah konstruksi dalam aktivitas proyek konstruksi pada tahap pelaksanan di lapangan. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan pengembangan teori berupa permodelan reduksi limbah dengan system dynamic yang berfokus pada proses pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi, serta memberikan dasar untuk penelitian lanjutan dan perbaikan praktik industri

    Data Analysis of Diabetes Mellitus with Joint Modeling Method

    Diabetes mellitus is a dangerous disease that requires long-term medical treatment. The cause of this disease is high blood sugar levels. If not treated immediately, complications will occur and even cause death. The data is taken from the Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS). IFLS is a longitudinal measurement that is performed repeatedly every five years. More data is needed for repeated measures. Therefore, this research needs to be done to accommodate the missing data, and it is assumed that it is missing at random (MAR). This study aims to analyze the causative factors that are thought to affect the recovery time of patients with diabetes mellitus using the joint modeling method. This model is a relationship between event time data and repeated measurement data. The joint modeling method uses a linear mixed model for longitudinal measurements and a Cox proportional hazard model for survival. The variables were taken from IFLS4 and IFLS5 data with 293 observations: measurement time, treatment history, gender, comorbidities, and complications. The results in this study obtained a significant influence, namely the variables of measurement time, gender, and complications, on the recovery time of patients with diabetes mellitus. With the reduced measurement time, the patient has a lower chance of recovering 8.7184 times. The variables of gender also have a lower possibility of recovery of 9.1032 times, respectively

    Electrical energy is a requirement in everyday human life. The stability of the electrical energy generation system is something that must be considered, one of the power generation instruments that are often used is a generator, which converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. The generator has physical variables that must be maintained, including voltage, current and frequency. So as to know the amount of voltage and current produced by the generator, a system is made that can measure the amount of current, voltage and frequency produced by the generator with a portable system (plug and play). In this system, the generator output parameters are monitored using various sensors including the ZMPT101B voltage sensor to measure the generator output voltage, the ACS712 sensor to measure the current variable and the zero crossing detector to measure the frequency variable. From the test data of the monitoring system, the results obtained are the ZMPT101B voltage sensor which has an error reading of 0.01 for the ACS712 sensor reading error of 0.09 and for the frequency sensor reading error of 0.01. These three sensors were successfully used in the monitoring system of voltage, current and generator output frequency in the mini power plant module

    Cultivation of Low-Potassium Paddy Straw Mushrooms (Volvariella volvacea) on Proline-Based Osmolyte Growing Medium to Enhance Nutritional Variety for Hyperkalemia Patients

    The increasing variety of food choices has led to a rise in diet-related diseases, as people often prioritize taste over nutritional content. The high consumption of sodium and potassium-rich foods has contributed to a growing number of kidney disease cases. While many studies have focused on producing low-potassium foods, these often result in suboptimal growth. Mushrooms are a nutrient-rich food source, but their high potassium content makes them unsuitable for kidney disease patients. This study aims to determine the effects of different growing media compositions and osmolyte supplementation on potassium content, yield, and mycelium growth duration in low-potassium mushrooms. The cultivation was conducted using the baglog method, starting with the preparation of a growth medium composed of a combination of sengon wood sawdust, rice bran, and dried kepok banana leaves, which were sterilized before inoculating mushroom spawn and incubated in a kumbung for 35 days. Mycelium length was observed during growth, and potassium content was tested post-harvest. The results showed that proline supplementation had an effectiveness threshold, with 3% proline in composition B yielding the best hyphae development and the highest yield of 296.67 grams with the lowest potassium content. For glycerol treatment, 5% glycerol in composition A produced the highest yield and lowest potassium content, while 1% glycerol in composition B resulted in the longest hyphae growth

    Shipping safety is a main priority in all industries, including the shipping industry. The shipping industry must provide guarantee of the safety of people and cargoes in the shipping process. Ensuring shipping safety will support increased world trade. The development of the shipping industry has increased due to world trade, but this increase is not consistent with shipping safety standards. Shipping safety is low due to the quantity of ship accidents that have caused fatality and property loss. Humans error are one of the factors causing ship accidents. Inadequate skill and competence of ship crew is one of the indicators in human error that can cause ship accidents. Inadequate skill and competence of ship crew due to limited time and space to learn and improve their skills and competency. Purpose of this study is to develop maritime learning application prototype, that can be used crews to learn by ship and improve their competence and skills with flexible time and place. The name is application is Smart Shipping. The method used in this research is the waterfall method. The result of this research is an e-learning Prototype that was designed based on user’s competence and subject expertise as well as the position on the ship. Material in this e-learning can be downloaded for offline learning. Furthermore, e-learning provides learning evaluation to measure user understanding through questions, exercises, and tests. The shipping industry can use this e-learning as a preventive action of ship accidents due to human error

    User Satisfaction in Jak Lingko Mikrotrans Operations

    Mikrotrans is a means of transit that supports Transjakarta buses and serves residential neighbourhoods. However, travellers have lodged several concerns about the mikrotrans service's facilities and infrastructure. These concerns include drivers failing to stop at bus stops, drivers driving at excessive speeds, facility damage, inconvenient passenger wait periods, and a lack of bus arrival information. Aside from that, the bus stop lacks operational information, the bus stop pole is damaged, and the distance between bus stops varies. Using the customer satisfaction index approach and IPA-Kano integration, this study examines the operational performance of the Jak Lingko mikrotrans in terms of user satisfaction. The research findings revealed a 71,61% user satisfaction index in the satisfied group. However, all assessment attributes have negative gap values, resulting in a satisfaction score that fails to match user expectations. Based on the IPA-Kano integration analysis, three fatal category qualities were identified as high priority for service improvement. The fatal category attribute is that the driver drives the vehicle if the passenger is seated and/or both of the passenger's feet have touched the ground (A7), the vehicle's stopping time is adjusted to coincide with the completion of the passenger boarding and alighting process (A14), and there is signage, route information boards, the bus name, and the bus stop number (A22)

    Escalation of Capacity and Quality PS60 Casting Production by Gating System Modification

    A ship tank’s ventilation pipes protector, called PS60, is produced by an investment casting process using CF8M material. Shorter time production for PS60 products, occurred due to the rise of PS60 demand, resulting non class casting product quality. Reported that 15% of PS60 defective products were shown from each production group. Porosity defects are the most common defects found. Recalculating riser’s, runners’s, and ingates’s dimensions, then remodeling designs a mold gating system done in order to reduce the percentage of defective products and increase production capacity. Remodeling gating system and casting simulation done by ProCast 2018 software using New Advanced Porocity Module (NAPM). The casting simulation output was porosity defects location and percentage, which were further analyzed. The product produced using a mold Gating system with a new layout, had 314.73 cm3 of empty part in the mold cavity which was identified as a porosity defect which was 4.58% of the total volume of the cast product. The total value of  the porosity after remodeling decreases by 2.39% from the existing product. 93.3% of the cavity inside the product is categorized as macroscopic porosity defects that are centralized in the riser and pouring basin areas, where in the casting product finishing process, these areas will be removed.     Mathematical Model for Ship Berthing Allocation in A Multipurpose Terminal: Study Case from Tanjung Perak Port Indonesia

    In the operation of a multipurpose terminal in a port (terminal that can serve and be berthed to more than one type of a ship), the position of planning an optimal berth allocation for ships is essential to maintain. Berth allocation planning (BAP) is considered tactical planning that can impact the performance of a terminal and the cost of a ship in a port. That is because the longer the waiting time of a ship that waits to be berthed, the smaller number of ships will be served by the terminal, and the higher the cost will be borne by the ships. This paper, based on a case study in Terminal Jamrud of Tanjung Perak Port of Indonesia, will discuss a Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) mathematical model of a BAP to minimize the ships’ waiting time to berth with consideration to the tailored conditions of the multipurpose terminal. The results show that the optimization model yielded reductions in the datasets 1 to 3 tested on the North/West and 4 to 6 on the South pier. There are savings in the waiting time reduced in hours, which are 403 (12,82%), 189 (26,18%), 418 (30,74%) for the North/West pier and 34 (16,43%), 1663 (88,13%), 475 (46,75%) for the South pier

    Indonesia is a maritime country with vast marine areas. Furthermore, Indonesia is also a country with the second-largest biodiversity in the world. Many endemic flora and fauna in Indonesia, some even endangered, are vulnerable to becoming illegal trade commodities, primarily through domestic and international sea routes. Therefore, endemic flora and fauna in Indonesia must be protected to prevent extinction. Customs is a community protector that monitors export activities through the law enforcement of CITES (Convention on International Trades on Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna). This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of supervision carried out by Customs as a community protector in monitoring illegal wildlife exports through the prohibition and restriction supervision scheme at Tanjung Priok Port. The method used in this paper is qualitative research with a literature study approach. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that customs have an essential role in the export of protected flora and fauna. For the supervision carried out by Customs to be effective and maximum, several steps are needed, including no collusion, computerization of services provided, and finally, implementing situational crime prevention against illegal wildlife trade

    Prototyping of Regenerative Braking System Based on Hybrid Energy Storage System in Electric Vehicle Prototype E-Trail Bangkits

    The use of a Hybrid Electrical Energy Storage System (HESS) using a battery and supercapacitor in regenerative braking system on BANGKITS E-Trail prototype has the potential to offer greater power density and cycle life. The aim of the study was to maximize the recovery of energy during braking using the system, while improving the performance of E-Trail BANGKITS. The proposed regenerative braking system based on HESS was designed and fabricated while considering energy recovery capacity, and maximum electsamarical load. After fabrication, the system was tested for its efficiency, in energy recovery and to drive the vehicle using recovered energy. The tests were conducted in two steps, which are stationary, and dynamic tests, using a variation of motor and vehicle speed. The results of the tests showed in regenerative mode, system can recover up to 4410 J of energy with 41% efficiency with ascending trend as motor speed increases, while in drive mode, system can successfully drive the vehicle at 1430W power draw, and 14.8s of discharge time. In vehicle performance test, system was capable of generating braking force of 427.92N at 36% braking contribution. System can also extend the driving range of the vehicle by 2.4% of test route distance
