Spatial and Non-Spatial Analysis of Users and Online Transportation Service Providers in the Tembalang Higher Education Area, Semarang City
The gap between demand and supply of publictransportation has the potential for online transportationcompanies to fill it. The ability to provide door-to-door servicesmakes people prefer to use online transportation rather thanpublic transportation. This study aims to analyze the demand andsupply (supply & demand) of online transportation through thespatial and non-spatial characteristics found in the TembalangHigher Education Area of Semarang City. This study uses aquantitative approach with SEM-PLS analysis method. Theresearch data uses the perceptions of 200 user respondents and100 respondents to online transportation providers at UNDIPand UNPAND. The modeling results show that the fit modelvalue in PLS is 88.3%. The research findings show that with asignificance level of α = 5% with a t-value> 1.96, non-spatialusers have a significant effect on user spatial and provider spatialwith coefficients of 2.18 and 2.20. Furthermore, non-spatialproviders have a significant effect on provider spatial by 4.57.While non-spatial providers have no significant effect on userspatial with t-value = 0.01 and provider spatial has no significanteffect on user spatial with t-value = 0.05. Socio-economiccharacteristics are the non-spatial factors of users that have themost influence on spatial users and providers. The non-spatialfactors are the benefits felt by the presence of onlinetransportation and vehicle ownership with a significance factorfor the variables of 77.4% and 74.2%, respectively
Analysis Symmetrical Blade Propeller Performance for Jalapatih 3 Ship Using CFD
Solar Sport One is a prestigious competition held annually in the Netherlands. The competition focuses on innovation, technology, and sustainable energy. Based on the experience/participation of Marine Solar Boat Team (MSBT) ITS in Event Solar Sport One 2018 using Jalapatih 3 vessel, then researched the propulsion system especially propeller for use in the next Solar Sport One event. This paper is done research using an opensource program called Openprop to design a propeller using numerical calculations for the ship Jalapatih 3. The research is conducted in several phases, where our initial stage of designing and counting numerically uses Openprop and comparing the calculation results with CFD simulation results as Performance analysis of the selected propeller. From a propeller model that has been designed, Fortescue Blade Propeller has not been able to push the ship Jalapatih 3 at 16 knots and the result of the comparison, gained the difference of Thrust J = 1.4 of 22.063 N while Torque value has a difference of 2.35 Nm
A WEIGHTED LEAST SQUARES B-SPLINE COLLOCATION METHOD FOR ELLIPTIC PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
A new, free-integration approach based upon B-spline for solving boundary value problem is introduced and presented in the paper, called weighted least squares B-spline collocation method. It combines high order B-spline basis functions with high approximation and continuity properties and weighted least squares method which is robust to deal with scattered or randomly knot points distribution. In addition, using appropriate designed B-spline basis function construction, the new approach introduces no difficulties in imposing both Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions in the problem domain. As a result, the effectiveness of the new approach is greatly enhanced with the flexibility to cope with both regular and irregular shaped domains. Numerical examples show the applicability and capability of the new approach for solving elliptic partial differential equations in arbitrary domains
MESHLESS METHODS FOR SOLVING REACTION-DIFFUSION PROBLEMS-A BRIEF REVIEW
Reaction-diffusion equations represent many important and critical applications in engineering and science. Numerical techniques play an important role for solving such equations accurately and efficiently. This paper presents a brief review of meshless methods for solving general diffusion equations, including reaction-diffusion systems
Stress Analysis of Solar Electric Bus Chassis Using Finite Element Method
All of the electrical and mechanical components in the solar-electric bus certainly require a chassis. A chassis frame construction must be strong and light enough to bend when it receives loads. This article focuses on stress analysis using finite element method related to the solar-electric bus chassis, including the vertical load, longitudinal (acceleration and braking), and turning load. It began with a literature review and collecting the data of chassis dimensions and materials. It was then ended by getting the data simulation and evaluation of comparison results. From the simulation results for the chassis initial design, the highest Von-Misses stress happened for turning load, 182.45 MPa, and a safety factor of 1.4. While from simulation of the redesigned chassis, the Von-Mises stress reduced to 169.87 MPa with a safety factor of 1.5. Furthermore, the vertical load conditions resulted in the lowest Von-Mises stress, which was 87.89 MPa with a safety factor of 2.84

Market Reaction of Stock Split Announcement on Listed Companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange
The Issues of stock split is still debatable in the economic field. This is indicated by the mismatch between the theories referred to with practices in the capital market. The focus of the research is to investigate the determinant of the market reaction in the period before and after the announcement of a stock split. This study is designed by qualitative research by using theoretical review based and supporting by previously research. The basic concept underlyed the theoretical review are dimension of trading volume activity, abnormal return, and bid-ask spread. By critical review and classifying the result of previous research, the research found some propositions : (1) stock split have effect on trading volume activity (2) stock split have effect on abnormal return (3) stock split have effect on bid-ask sprea
